Max's Money Minute. We do it at eight o'clock and
every hour while you're at work. Forget about Powerball. Your
chance is much better with us this morning, way more.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Maxes this last fall of truth. Why would you want
to Why would you want to win on a hundred
miler when you can win a thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
It's so true thousand dollars, so much more.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Now. Our Wall of Truth is a little game that
we play that we have to ask each other very
deeply personal questions that you know, we're not really feel
that comfortable sharing. I mean I do because I don't
have filter. But you, on the other hand, get a
bit nervous.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah, your family gets uncomfortable and we play Wall of
Truth because you're going to reveal family secret.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, they do.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
My husband Jimmy's like, can you just like ease up
on what you share. Sometimes you overshare.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
The wall of just like bits of truth, elements of truth.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
I'll give you at all.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Well, it's your turn today because you asked me one. Yes, say,
I'm asking you one today, Haley Pearson. What is the
craziest thing that your body endured post birth?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Ah? Oh, that's a good question. Okay, Well I oh god,
it is the most painful thing that I've ever been through. Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
This goes out to anybody who tried to breastfeed and
had real problems because there's a lot of pressure on
women to breastfeed, which I hate.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
If you just do what you do, do what you
can right, not knowing how it works.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Is it not just a there it is.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
It doesn't work for everybody.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
I had too much milk so I would have something
called mastitis, and that word is.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Just it haunts me.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
It brings me the worst feelings of how what I
went through thirteen years ago and ten years ago when
I had two of my two babies. So I got
to think called mass tier So Max, it's where your
milk ducks get blocked. And it's not just a sore boob.
It is the most painful thing you'll ever endure it.

(02:29):
Your whole body goes into like flu like symptoms. When
you have a shower, one drop of water on your
boob is so painful. It's like a knife going through
your boob. I would describe it as like a knife
going through your flesh and.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Then pouring chlorine in that flesh. That is the pain.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
That is it blocked by just just because like so
for example, Alfie would empty one boob and then my
other boob wouldn't be empty, so then it would just
get blocked because it would build up and build up,
and it would like your boob.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Is gonna Why does it not come out?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I don't know, maybe it hardens in there or something.
I've got no idea.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
So and because I had so much, I would often
like I would be sitting here and I would I
would leak all the time.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
You No, it's not the most No. I hated it.
I was like a dairy cow.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Anyway, squeeze me so anyway, I was so bad one
day that I had her physio come to my house
and it's she set me up like a scene on
the Handmaid's Tail kind of thing where I was on
my bed and there were towels all around me. I
had carpet on my bedroom floor, and she sat there

(03:37):
and she massaged, like needed kneading dough. That's what you
have to do to get to open up the ducks.
Massage that painful boom. Like I'm talking so sore.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
You said a water droplet was pain Yeah, it's excruciating, right,
So she's.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Kneading it, kneading it, needing it, and then all of
a sudden, my milk duck opened up and it came
out like a fountain all over my room, all over
my bed, sprung her in the face, spraying me in
the face, all over my pill like it was everywhere,
but it was like I was lying on my back.

(04:15):
I was like, don't stop, don't stop, just get it
all out. And we were laughing as it was happening.
But I wish I filmed it because it was just
that we literally had milk.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
All over so disgusting.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
And then I just stopped breastfeeding because I was like,
I am not putting myself through this again.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
It is absolute hell. Mums.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
If you're listening to this and you're going through my start,
don't you don't have to endure this.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Just do what you can because it is hell. What
was the cleanup like? Oh, I think I made Jimmy
do it. He's a good husband. Help me clean it up?
Wat fantastic? True? Yeah that was painful.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
