Speaker 1 (00:10):
I heard podcasts here more mixed one or two point
three podcasts, playlists and listen live on the Free iHeart.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
App all right, I don't know how I feel about this.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Queen Lizzie has been dragged into the whole Prince Andrew drama,
so apparently, allegedly you're on her. She knew that he
was bringing in Ladies of the Night to Buckingham Palace.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
She knew. She didn't say anything because so big.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Surely there's like a pardon the pald backdoor entrance or
something that he could bring in the ladies.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Without her knowing. Surely, Yeah, but they're so weirdly close, like,
don't they They both call him mummy. When she was.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Alive, picture sitting in the corner.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Watch apparently, Oh no, now you're making her. Don't don't
ruin the corner. I'm asking you. She wasn't doing that
at all, was she.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Little chair in the corner?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Apparently it was done on a regular basis. But because
he was the favorite son, she never said anything. Why
would he be the favorite out of the two of them?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Was he the first? Have you seen?

Speaker 2 (01:12):
You can't be the first because he's not the king.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I don't follow the royals how the rules were. He's
got normal sized fingers and that's what she likes about him.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
I think he's actually one of the younger ones because
there's four of them. You keep saying two, but there's
four two sons though, isn't there?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah, and two girls. There's three sons, is there? Who's
the other dude?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Philip?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
No Edward, Prince Edward? No one knows you spoke so
much Edward George. Yeah, it's the one that's married the
whole one. Sophie, Oh god, who cares? All right?

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Big Brother last night, I'm so annoyed. I didn't even
know this was on and I missed it. So we
brought in Luna Luke, our producer, who saw it. I'm like,
apparently they're going back to basics.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Right, Yeah, so it's meant to emulate the og Big Brother,
which everyone grew up watching and that sort of thing.
So it was live, but it was filmed on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Did I have the same music as the original one?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yes, Hello Australia, I'm Meltresina and the way I want that. Yeah,
music grad was not there obviously.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Me. Mel was good, just seen it. She's on the
cheap seats a.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Lot, okay, okay, and then Mike Goldman's in it as well.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Yes, he's narrating as per usual, which is great.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
So have we got a what was her name? Bum dance?
Sarah Maurie? Have we got to Sarah Marie? Have we
got to Merlin? Have we Gotsy?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
This is where I'm a little bit conflicted because I'm
a little bit worried about the cast. It just seemed
very young, and I don't know. The thing I was
sort of saying is that I feel like everyone there
knows that they can get their five minutes of fame
out of this, so they're very hyper aware. Where it's
like the old Bie Brother, like everyone was kind of
just being them and like you had those gold moments.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Can I say something no, the old Bie Brother. So
people like Christy Swan, she was a copywriter and wrote
for real estate.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Right before she did that, she deserved to be on.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Radio, TV and everything she became, right, I feel like
now there's so much like there's so many people on
social media that they will just be diluted anyway. I
don't think they're going to find their next big radio
star here.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I'm looking at the list here. Granted the picture that
we've got with all their headshots, it's not printed in
high quality. Is someone's name Ebola? Is that first lady's
name of Bowler? No, I actually don't know how to
pronounce Nate. I think she goes as by Abby or Abola.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
I mean, if you call it Bowler, you definitely go
by Abby. You changed yourname, wouldn't. Yeah, she goes in
there Edward his brother, Prince Edwards. Yeah, he's a house.
I'm sitting in the corner watching as well.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
La. I've just Africa and caught myself some abola from
a weekend away.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Okay, so we're giving it like a good rating. We
should watch this.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
I'm intrigued. I'm going to continue watching it, but I
I have a short attention span. I might turn off.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
All right, there you go. You heard it, fy you
wearing a brown sail? All is a show.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Dynamite.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I'd be all this

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
