Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda jam Nation. So Brookshields. I'm a big fan
of Brookshields. She has reinvented, not reinvented herself. She's survived
a really tough kind of coming of age story, a
child actress with a mother who she was very close to,
but a mother who was mentally unstable. She's come through
all that, and she's been married for a number of years.
(00:22):
She's got two grown daughters. I just think she's fantastic.
And the other night she was at the Tony Awards
in a beautiful yellow dress wearing a pair of yellow crocs,
and I love it. I'm not a giant Croc fan,
but I've come around to thinking they're actually okay. And
the fact she did that, I absolutely love it. She said,
I couldn't do this in heels. I've got my crocs on.
We've spoken about this before that Crocs have now been
(00:45):
doing collaborations with Heidi Klum, Madonna, John sena just John
sena in crocs.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
I can't see it. Very nice, john Senna Jack then yeah,
John sena peblic Oh, he's done it again.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
He's done it for the first time ever. So they're
bright daffodil yellow you're pulling a face.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Oh you know my thoughts on people that wear crocs.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
You said, you've got to be under the age of ten.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Or mentally deranged, or a doctor or a surgeon. But
then again, a mentally deranged surgeon perhaps like Frankenstein.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
You'd expect under ten year old surgeon like Doogie Houser.
There are some crossovers in your ven diagraph.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
And the Dougie Houser was in his teens. He was
a young kid, but he was not under ten.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
But I think this is a very really nice trend
that women wearing flat shoes. I'd try and do it
as often as I can.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Well, you got to wear crocs, not crocs.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
But I wore sneakers, like silvery sneakers when I was
nominated the second time for the Gold LOGI but there
very flash dress on and I'm sure the stylists didn't
particularly want me to do it, but I thought I
can't really did it. I can't do all that in
high heels, So yeah, I walk flat.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Your feet were killing you.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Well, people are saying we still remembering the first time
anyone ever did this. Sybil Shepherd, member Civil Shepherd, she
wore comfy shoes in nineteen eighty five to go to
the Emmys, and people are still talking about it. She
broke the mold.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Maybe we should break out a pair of cumps.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Pair of cumps. Maybe that's what I need. Or just
wear boots.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
See a lot of comfts at the lob, so I
salute you, Brookshields.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
A comment a picture where people are a bit conflicted
about how they feel about it. I think she's fabulous.
