to you live from the Jersey Demanda Kitchen and the
Jersey Demand of Building.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
That's where we are TikTok Tucker. This is where we
sample things we've seen on TikTok. The one today. I
think it's interesting, Brandon, because it's got two minute noodles.
That made you two minute noodles aximize, Okay, I wonder
who that person is.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Please another that'll do you? Please? I have another that'll
do you.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
So what happens here is we're going to cook some
two minute noodles with vegetables through them. I'm when I
say vegetables, a nice little spicy mix of some capsicums,
some parsley, some spring onion. Delicious, delicious. Well, let me
just get to it. But I'm going to tell you
what the mystery ingredient at the end of it is,
because if this is TikTok Tucker, there's always a mystery ingredient.
(00:55):
But we'll keep Well, let's start off and see how
we go. I'm going to put some butter into the
fry pan here.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
I noticed you put a cast iron fry pan.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
I'm not even answering that they're really good melding that butter.
What we do now is we put the veggies in there.
We go so these it's spring onions, it's capsicum, spinach,
some little bit of seasonings things like that will go
in there. So that's cooking nicely, smells nice. What we
(01:26):
now add, and I've par bored them already, are our
Magi two minute noodles. So that looks like something you
might come home from school, Brandon and cook up for yourself.
When you come home from school and you've done all
your homework, Mom, what can I have for aftert This
isn't or an early dinner for you?
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Maybe I don't think I have noodles for dinner.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Wouldn't you? Lots of people do? All right, that's done there,
So you don't think Australians eat two minute noodles for dinner.
I think they do. And anyway, let's put us seasonings in.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
What.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Well, if you're a busy working person you come home
and which you get home at lunchtime and goof off,
it's different for you do a lot of work, but
if people come home and they're looking for something quick
to feed a family, this is a very good solution.
Now this looks delicious, doesn't it. Two minut noodles cooked
in butter with the little bits of capsicum and veggies,
and we've got seasonings in there. But because this is
TikTok tucker, what makes this a little bit different is
(02:17):
the mystery ingredient that goes in at the end, which
is drum roll play yummy fairy floss candy floss cutton candy.
I've seen this. It's weird you put it in. Look,
I've got blue fairy floss there and it dissolves into
the noodles. I saw a woman, not a kid idiot
(02:38):
making this the other day. We dissolve that in I
spin it. I just munched it around here in the
fly pant and the fry pan looks like a smurf
has been caught up in the actions there. We go
spin it around, spin, spin, spin, and that then melts
nicely or weirdly whatever it's going to be, into the noodles,
(02:59):
And that is what we are going.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
We didn't melt down girl smurf because there was only
one of them.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
They're all gone now. Cotton candy noodles or once we
would call it in Australia, fairy floss noodles.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
How does it all? That breakdown? The smurfy part.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
The smurfy part is breaking down. Have a look, I'm
breaking down as well. That's going to dissolve and when
we come back, we're going to eat it. Super It's
slightly blue looking noodles. We put the Harpic flush mattic
through it.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I don't care what you think. We haven't tasted it yet.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Okay, well we'll try that shortly, all right, come back.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
What we made today was cotton candy noodles or fairy
floss noodles as it would be called in Australia. Your
melt some butter on high heat. You had chopped veggies,
doir that through. You add the Maggie noodles and a
little bit of water. I forgot to add the water
till later be which it probably was a bit. Then
you add the seasoning from the noodle packet. Then the
next item is cotton candy or fairy floss that dissolves
(03:55):
into it. It's and ours is blue. It's given it
a blue tinge.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
It looks like you like it melting down a smurf.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Well that I put some on as a garnish. Here,
we don't have to.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Eat the girl smurf because there's only one of them,
which is always fascinated me with that show. Why was
there only one girl smooth?
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Smooth?
Speaker 1 (04:13):
There's only one smooth?
Speaker 2 (04:16):
You were so fascinated you lost the power of speech.
They procreate the species, Brendan, I can't answer that.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Now you eat this, thanks, mum. Well it looks dreadful.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
No it doesn't. It looks like it looks like a
bowl full of noodles.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah, well it smells nice. Got a little bit of
smurf in there, and you've put this one on top
for a garnish.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
So correct, That's what I've said. If you listened, I
just eat it.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Well, I want to get the full smurf experience. Oh yeah, yeah,
that's great.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Can you taste the sweetness?
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Can you? And you like it? It's not overpowering though,
it's just right really like those things have more salt
that a salt lick, and it takes away.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
That Watching you shovel that in is horrendous. So you're
reading a series of tapeworms natural day.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
You like it. I like it. I challenge you not
to like it really good. You don't like it?
Speaker 2 (05:18):
No, I don't like the sweetness. I prefer eating it
as salt lick.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
You like it up.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
There's too much sweet. Interesting though that it's not awful.
I'm surprised at that.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
And what's the how many star health rating does that get?
I think we do the negatives now. It just made
two minute noodles even more unhealthy.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Well, if you want this recipe, it'll be in our
socials today fairy floss noodles or cutton candy noodles.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
We give it two thumbs up. Start that you do it.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
That's a fancy the moldy, bacteria infested.
