a sudden, I don't watch a lot of sport. Usually
I watch the footy and stuff like that. But then
all of a sudden, now there's a Telly on everywhere.

Everywhere, and every like every afternoon, you get home, you
flick it on, you watch the highlights, and you start
watching the live stuff and next minute at three am
and you've got to get up at three forty five.

Exactly what happens once your highlight beam? What's something that
you've gone?
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Well? This is great?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Oh look, I am obsessed with Jeff Fox. She is amazing.
So to see her pick up those two gold medals.
And I love her story because her mum, Miriam, is
her coach. You know, her sister's at the Games. Her
dad and her mum both competed in the Olympics. Her
dad's British and mum's French. They came to Australia. They've
produced one of the great gold medalists in Kanukai and
she's such a beautiful, humble human, lovely, So really love

seeing Jess Fox. I love the celebrations, so I get
a bit teary, you know when people when you see them,
when you see how much it means to them. And
I think the fencing has had the best celebrations. When
the Polish team came third, they all had a big
stacks on. I was concerned because if you have a
stax on with a weapon in your hand, it could
could get ugly.

Watch out for that where you're putting your air bait.

Yeah exactly, But you don't get to say that every day,
do So that's to me, that has been amazing and
I bloody love even though the Matildas have have crashed out.
I love their comeback win against Zambia. They were down
five to two and a half time and came back
and once gustaves and he's gone yes, So it's been
a bit of a disaster. So first time since two
thousand or since since women's football has been in the

Olympics and they haven't progressed through or out of the pool. Stages,
So a little bit of soul searching going on there
at the moment.

I've been following a bit of the windsurfing our guy
Gray Morris off not very well, but now he's killing it.

But this guy, you've seen him on a windsurfer.

He's massive, busy, he's huge, like he's about six foot
ten and he just sails away.

I've later in life I've picked up on windsurfing, or

Oh it is just one day I was and the wind,
and there's moments when you have these great moments on it,
but then when the wind whips around, it'll just rip
the sail out of your hand and throw you in
the water. And I was swearing so much. This lady
yelled from the shore because she had a baby and
they were feeding ducks, and they said are you She
said you.

Well, this is from a man who told me off
here that one day, at the moment the wind is
too windy.

I live up on the North Coast and I was
at Balaner at the Beats the other day and a
go got out and he was parent say, I was parasurfing,
sorry with because that's and he took off and I
was worried he wasn't going to land.

Tea bagging they call it.

Okay, I see what you call it, tea bag. There's
lots of things to get called tea bagging.

I didn't realize that was one of them. There you go,

Things I look. I'll take you a bit of a
low light from the Olympics. Yep, what did we ever
do to Canada? They keep beating us at things?

Well, we're cut from the same cloth, I believe, Well
this is true.

But they beat us in men's basketball, they knock us
out of the women's rugby. You know, they they whoever
they beat in their pool in the women's football. It
meant that the Matilda's didn't go through. I always thought, well,
friends with Canada.

You know, it's a nice rub.

I like Maple Syrff as much as anybody else.
