Nation survey of one thousand and five people discover that
eighty six percent of those are in between one and
four group chats.

It's a lot, isn't it? And forty two percent of
those have said that managing their chats can feel like
a part time job. Yeah, because there's a lot of notifications,
there's a lot of different opinions, a lot of people
who talk about stuff that's not the main thread. Everyone
feels they look rude if they don't contribute. It's exhaustible.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
And then when you miss it because I don't have
any notifications on the phone, it's just too much otherwise.
But sometimes I get home and I go, oh my god,
what have I missed? As you said, Who's died?

Speaker 4 (00:36):
And it's no One.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
It's just a picture and it's no one, no one.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
It's a picture of a cat or something like that.
And then there's a laughing emoji and the other guy,
I just can't. I don't have the bandwidth to do this.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
No, that's why it takes up a lot of bandwidth.
How do you feel though they maybe they're very convenient
for you. Group chats? Do they pass the pub test
against it.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
People just want to talk to me, bring up No,
I don't think so. There's too many group chats going around,
and just the constant notification thing that you get no
good for me doesn't pass the pub test.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
Group chats don't pass the pub test as far as
I'm concerned, definitely, because but as the day, if you
want to say something to somebody, well.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
They do and you send the wrong message to the
wrong group or even the wrong feature. Send me the
ones with the wives in it.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
You know, oh trouble.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
But also the person who said you're going to talk
to me, ring me up, let me just out loud.
Never ring me. Never ring me. I can't handle a
phone call. I've become that person. I don't want to
talk on the phone.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Okay, I won't call you.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
That message to you, Brendan, don't ring me.
