And Amanda jam Nation Rabbit has apologized to the young
kid that he pushed at the footy on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Lots of people are saying that the kid must have
revved and razed the mascot up. My point, though, is,
if you're a mascot, and I'm not talking about abuse,
but I'm talking about the flip side of passion, and
it's the same, actually the same side of the coin.
Your job as a mascot is to rev up your
team and to soak up the derision of the other
team symbol for all.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Maybe they shou're getting partial people inside the mascots.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Who's going to do that? It needs to be someone
who loves the club to put up with all of that.
But anyway, this is what we're put into the pub test.
You've probably seen the footage. You have an opinion on it.
What do you think mascot's lashing out? Does this pass
the pub test?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
No? No, it doesn't. They're there to rev up people.
I mean, you imagine if Mickey Mouse or Dappy Duck
suddenly went off the deep end and started punching people
at Disneyland. I mean, oh my god.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
I believe that should have to product physically hip that
if they happened to get pushed, and they happened to
push that, well, you know, at the end of the day,
they suld just touched the mascot on the first plot.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
No, my time, I've spent time with a mascot socially
playing social sports. He obviously had anger management issues, and
I wouldn't want my children going along to a game
where that person was inside the mascot smelly costume.

Speaker 6 (01:25):
Absolutely, it passes a pub set. Everyone forgets the mascots
of people inside that costume, and they don't deserve to
be abused. They don't deserve to be heckled. And if
the kid needs to get shoved a little just to
pullice head in, just to stead him right, I think
that's absolutely fine.

Speaker 7 (01:41):
Since I did it for twenty five years and I
was marking the Maypie, the abuse that he got, it
takes it all the time. After times you can't see
out of the suits, I can verify that that the
abuse that you get shouldn't be allowed. I have had
standing ovations, I've had people, I've had both sides of
the fence and go he apologized. He does a great
