Speaker 1 (00:00):
Knots is a new series following five fearless hosts as
they dive headfirst into the world of marine leisure, tackling
extreme challenges and wild stunts, and encountering hilarious mishaps along
the way. One of those five fearless hosts is Miguel
my Stray.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Good morning, come st Us, comast us.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
I'm everything in your study is funny and I can't wait.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
To come up with you.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
It's going to probably be a very one way conversation, Miguel,
but I'm still I've still got my training wheels on, mate,
Believe believe me.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Everything. I mean, why why do you want to learn
a spungingshole?

Speaker 4 (00:55):
What beautiful language?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
I love it any special reason. I mean, it's not
only the most spoken language in America.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
I love, I love, I've been and I still love
South America, Suda America. So you know, it's got to
pick up pick up some of the language.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
As brendido mucho or popo mo poco poco. I want.
I want to comment you at Dora Flora, speaking with you,
even the action.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
It's very important. It's very important. And I had to say,
don't dies.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Flora. I hate Flora right, only here with your money.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
That's a bit hard. But back to you, back to
you and your big topknot.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
It's crazy. It's such a great and the launch was
last Thursday and it's been amazing, Lisa. This show is
actually a new way or look at lifestyle. And because
we live in Australia and we love so much, you
know the marine Lesha. Everyone is like love surfing, jet skis,
you know when sailing. I think it's it's such a

(02:30):
great concept summery time as well. The perfect timing and
just the all the hosts the past is amazing. I
mean what a buchol lunatics chose a better myself like
grand Dania. There is a Steve Demon, you get Tom Williams.
There is the voice of the common sense, very handsome,

(02:51):
very tall, and you got Rob Palmer. Rock Palmer is
like professional standsman, real Australian weapons of us in distractions
and then and then you go Flip Palm. Here there
is a great self and athletes. It's the only person
credibility well you see, absolutely concerned why but the cooking

(03:17):
locations had been fascinating and it's a little bit of
cooking in the show too. And we just jump in
a chop, I go to a glacier, cooks and your
sil and muscles. I mean, it's amazing the show. It's
been a total success for the launch and we just
can't wait to astolage see it.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
It's a little bit different to the usual you know
shows of its type. Did they have to did they
have to ask you more than once to get involved?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
You know that's no. We just got to stitched up continuously.
So we got no idea. Last week we went to
this in Fiji, we just were gonna have a dream
somewhere and we end in diving with bull sharks. It
was thirty of them. So, I mean, the thing is,
we just had no idea what's having in the show.
It's unscripted, it's very fresh and very spontaneous. Sometimes I'm

(04:09):
not gonna lie to you. A few people chicken out. Yes,
I'm it's funny. It's bulls, the running off the balls.
I'm not chicking out of anything in my life. I
just do it, and I tell I just try really
scary my room, my rest of the day. But we're
really scared. He's a great, rarely spontaneous and real refreshing

(04:33):
and it's a cross of personalities. The really very diverse
and it's just so funny. I mean so fun We
actually beat in records in this show. We have the
fastest donner hanging from a boat and Palmer will be
hanging out of these things and we'll do like over
one hundred fifty meters an hours.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
You know it is that's that's funny.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
That's where the title comes from, isn't.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
It It is even you stop here kind of I
can't say fine with the cars in the ocean, and
it's so much in the ocean fishing, you know, cooking.
Jent skis saying it's so much to do that our
sis will love it, and I think that's why Arsonat
is so well for the launch.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
Yeah, yeah, Now I just want to get back to
the Spanish thing again.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
If we can't just briefly, I.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Just I just I just don't want to have a
full time conversation with you.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
But so, so what what what tips you know do
you give Australians who want to learn Spanish? But because
it is, it's intimidating, It's it's like it's really really hard.
I mean, it's not as hard as some languages. But
what what what would be your tip for someone going
I wouldn't mind giving that a go.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Well, I mean when you when you span to learn Spanish,
I mean I was born in Spain, so I got
quite hard to learn US. I'll just learn it was
my native language.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
But I think you.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Diving yourself in the experience or learning a language, and
it's having with me an English. I wasn't very good
in school. I didn't study much, so I learned English
in a Scottish kitchen. Hence my really weird, funny answer.
So like some kind of really chady William Wallace running

(06:25):
around the gate some scholars and Willie Wallace maybe.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
English friend.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
That's hilarious, Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
But the secrets for learning quickly, and this is what
I'm trying to get to the point, is like if
you submerge yourself, you got to spine and this connected
yourself from any English speaking friends, any English in your phone,
any English reading, and you immerse yourself in what is
the Spanish culture. I can't tell you within two weeks

(07:01):
you'll be having a conversation guarantee, because necessity, the biggest teacher,
the biggest teacher when you're in the nat. You need
a colba or some garlic frown gaido and you'll be like.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Miguel. I think speaking Spanish comes in very handy on
a show like Topknots, because when you're going at Top Knots,
you can.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Swear in Spanish and I won't know.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Miguel. Will look forward to episode two this week, which
will see you in New Zealand. Thank you for chatting,
Thank you so much in two languages to us this morning.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Miguel Buen a sweater programmer the television.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Oh, I just wished him luck with his new TV.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Why did he say something? Immersion is the necessity.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
It absolutely is, or else.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
You won't eat or drink.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
There has to be a holiday coming up.
