common law. They refer to it as the right of abatement.
So you actually do have the right to remove any
overhanging branches or routes to your boundary line. And you know,

which I would always suggest it's always nice to go
have a chat to your neighbor first up and they
might actually you know, trim the tree anyway, but sometimes
that just doesn't happen. So yeah, so if you've got
overhanging branches on your boundary, well you can actually trim
them back and you can throw them back. Yeah, I'll

tell you quickly something. We were Laidleyshi when I was
on Laidleyshire Council. We had a property owner who was
next to a council property and we counseled had overhanging
tree eased into the person's property. He actually trimmed all
of them back and then I had a women's group

function the next day, and he put all our branches
up up the stick into the entry area to our events.
So I'm suggest not doing that in anyway.

and then I cut them all back and now they're
