over the next few weeks as we take a break.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Oh wow, yeah, okay, I'm getting on the back of
a Harley Davidson on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
On Sunday, right, that's well.

It's eighty percent of chance of rain, so maybe it'll
be Monday.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
I hope not, though, Like we've we've prepped so much
and I've started. I've done a video of me trying
to pack, which was just horrendous. I mean, I have
over three hundred and fifty pairs of shoes. How the
hell am I supposed to pack into two saddle bags
on the side of a Harley Davidson for ten days?
Speaker 5 (00:42):
It is doing my head in.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Yeah, So I've done that, and then I've also done
a video of me like with the bike and what
we're doing.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
And so you're going to do a video when you're
out there?
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yeah every day?
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Okay? And is that going to be on your social Yeah?
Speaker 3 (00:54):
So I just we want to do more of that
sort of stuff. I mean, my ideal world would be
being able to cruise around on the bike all over
the world, you know that, going to America, go and
do shrinker, go and do Yeah. So you got a backrest, Yeah,
and he's just put one on too, because it will
be on the bike for six seven hours a day.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, okay, you want to be comfortable.
Speaker 6 (01:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
And do you guys have some type of communication between
you have headphones or you can.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
Talk to each other.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah, and he has his We've got like.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
Music, we're making playlists.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah, you have like a signal for we week, like
you tapping butterfly down.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
He's pretty he's pretty sympathetic to the fact that I
haven't ridden as much as he. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, and of course when because he speaks French, when
you say we weat.
Speaker 6 (01:46):
Just yes, okay, we keep going.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
We'll come back to what we're doing a half time
as well.
Speaker 7 (01:54):
You're a kids now with Correos the podcast.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
So earlier in the week we were talking about out
having days off school for kids, and I guess as
we get into close to Christmas holidays, there'll be plenty
of families taking some kids out early to get the
cheaper holidays.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Well, today is the last day for private schools. Next
Friday is Catholic schools, and the Friday after that. This
is traditionally. I don't have kids in school anymore, but
this is how it used to be. And then two
weeks later at state schools.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Right, So people are starting to go yes and.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Trying to book holidays in December already, Like if you're
trying to stay locals looking like Sunshine Coast, we could
not get a week on the Sunshine Coast. We're having
to move twice, two nights here and then two nights there,
and then Malula Bar for a couple of nights because
it's just we couldn't get a week at one place.
Can you just go and stay with your family at Bardroom?
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:41):
No, that drivers mental, as much as I love them.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Well, that's a good way to your mother, Sylvia.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
How are you?
Speaker 8 (02:51):
I heard.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
I would drive you guys mental as well.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
You know that, Yeah, but you love the kids.
Speaker 9 (03:00):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
So Sylvia, Kip was saying to me and to us
that that Thursdays were a bit of a problem day
for your daughter, Lisa.
Speaker 9 (03:10):
Did you know what?
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Yeah, it was definitely.
Speaker 9 (03:12):
I mean just sounds a bit naughty, but it's actually
mental health day for both of them.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
So this is throughout my memory is right throughout high
school Lisa had Thursdays off.
Speaker 10 (03:23):
It wasn't her favorite day.
Speaker 9 (03:29):
It was great. We could get some nails painted and
catch up on shopping and just relaxed.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
What about schoolmates?
Speaker 11 (03:39):
She did wrong?
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Listen how high she went at the end? What that means?
She did not go to university?
Speaker 7 (03:47):
Did she were in life?
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Yes, that's true.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
So what happened?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
You just decided she there was what mats on on
her Thursday or something she didn't It.
Speaker 7 (03:58):
Could have been the mass.
Speaker 9 (03:59):
I think it was more the English with her.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Actually, yeah, she was a bit of a.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Smuggled with books.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Mum was so soft And what would you write as
a as a sick note for Lisa?
Speaker 12 (04:09):
My favorite?
Speaker 9 (04:10):
And I'll give this out to every mother in Ingridgston.
Not one hundred percent today?
Speaker 8 (04:16):
Well you tell me who is one hundred percent?
Speaker 13 (04:19):
Who did you.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
Get called on it?
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Like? Did the school ever ring you and say missus Whiteman,
your daughter needs to attend on a Thursday.
Speaker 9 (04:31):
I never got any Nursey notes back now I never did.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
She's not percent.
Speaker 6 (04:35):
She wasn't an old call Thursday and that.
Speaker 5 (04:40):
I was the opposite to you.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
And maybe it's because I was I don't know, a
single mom, but my kids went to school even if
they were dying.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yeah, broken legs, whatever, whatever. Yeah, I mean that mum, Robin.
Speaker 5 (04:51):
I was that mum partly.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Because I was at work and I had someone else
ringing me to say and I'm like, are.
Speaker 6 (04:58):
They yeah, Jeremy, Yeah.
Speaker 9 (05:01):
Well maybe it was a beautiful one of life's luxuries
to be able to do that, but hey.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
It was. It works, you embraced it, and I didn't
have a daughter too.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
Do you pull your kids out of school?
Speaker 15 (07:02):

Not until the last day of school because I always.
Speaker 11 (07:06):
Used to say, you're not doing cleanup.
Speaker 9 (07:08):
They have cleaners for that, because.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Last day's clean up day, isn't it.

too hot today, let's go to dream Well.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
What a dad?
Speaker 15 (07:43):
We do that once every two weeks, even when I
finished work early. Got to the point when I finished
work early, by the way on the roofer, when we
finished work early, I would wear my dream worlled hats
for school and pick the kids up so they knew
what we were. Come on, guys, let's go. There's no cue,
so wet let's go.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
You know, and if you buy the yearly pass, I
mean you're robbing yourself if you don't.

Now with the Correos the podcast. Here's ninety seven threes
Christmas Lights.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Our Christmas Lights competition. It's time. There's going to be
a lot of very nervous people right now because if
you put in the huge effort it take to put
up these some of these Christmas Lights displays, there's five
thousand bucks about to be one. We have a very
special guest in the studio with us as well from
Channel seven. Welcome Max. Hello, Hello, very good, very good.
Look at you dressing up for us as well. That's
(08:59):
very nice of you.
Speaker 10 (09:00):
No expense sped. I'll say what, you're a competitive bunch here.
I just got a tour of the station and each
of the departments, yes, has its own Christmas display set up.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Yes, oh yeah, there's prizes and everything full on efforts
from ye there's.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
Inflatables and all kinds of weird stuff.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
This one's the worst one probably in the.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Studios, yes that's true, but we all helped along with
this judging panel. We've got to see some of these
amazing displays. It's a five thousand dollars first prize that
there will be a people's choice winner as well, will
score a thousand dollars and that's obviously going to take
time for you to go and check it out, and
just by voting you can win five hundred dollars as well.
(09:40):
The twenty twenty four Christmas Lights Competition proudly partnered with
seven US tonight at six on seven and seven plus
and brought to you by Lighting Illusions, lighting up your
Christmas with brighter lights and cooler fans.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
And we have to say thank you to everyone. Ninety
houses have been lit up right across Brisbane. But of course,
as they say, they can only be one winner, and
that winner is.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Michael Turnbull of Quanta.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Michael, Michael, you're there, mate, here's mate on here. Congratulations
five thousand dollars or yours.
Speaker 13 (10:18):
That is absolutely amazing, Thank you very much.
Speaker 6 (10:20):
That live show is amazing.
Speaker 13 (10:22):
Yeah, it was fifteen fifteen years in the process. Mate
started with about three strings of lights when out they're
first born, and it's growing ever since then.
Speaker 10 (10:30):
Michael Max from seven here, I just got to ask
five thousand bucks, what do you spend that on?
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Don't tell me more lights?
Speaker 13 (10:36):
No, No, we've actually decided that in twenty twenty six
we'll have the Christmas off we go over to Europe,
so take the family pay. I look around all the
lovely Christmas stuff overseas, Mate, because.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
You've been giving people a white Christmas around here. You've
got an actual snow machine lined up as well at
your house.
Speaker 13 (10:52):
Absolutely, I absolutely get this snow going out in the footpath,
but the kids go desserk. But then yearsally, after a
couple of our wines out the front of cup my
Muma will knock the kids out the way and get stuck.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
In the Michael, can I ask you? Michael?
Speaker 10 (11:04):
Obviously, setting it up is hard, pulling it down is
even harder. But what's the best part about having the display?
Speaker 6 (11:09):
You too?
Speaker 13 (11:11):
I'm a special school teacher, so I'm all about the kids.
So each year just seeing the kids come through and
we're usually when the parents pull out there on phones
and show me a photo from five or ten years
ago and say, hey, we sat in that sleigh you know,
ten years ago, and this is how small he was
there and now look at you now. It's absolutely amazing
and just having those repeat people come back each year
and you get to know him over the years. So
(11:33):
we have a great community up here and I really
love being part of it.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
So Michael, what is your address.
Speaker 13 (11:38):
A one long street, Colontast And how.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
Long does it take you to get those lights up
every year?
Speaker 13 (11:44):
Well? I started on the second week of the last
school holidays, so September.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Truth.
Speaker 10 (11:48):
Now, wow, do you cheat and leave some of them
up for the next Yeah?
Speaker 13 (11:52):
No, none, little comes down. My wife likes to clean
house at the individual comes down, pack it away.
Speaker 6 (11:57):
That's incredible, it really is.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Thank you so because you bring so much joy to
literally thousands of kids around Brisbane.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
But five thousand dollars is all yours done.
Speaker 13 (12:08):
And thank you very much for you continue support of all.
I saw A little lighting enthusiastaid, yeah, and at a
little bit of recognition at the end all makes all
the if it worthwhile.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Yeah, that's very good idea. You didn't even need to
give us your street number. Really, if you just said
long Street, I'm pretty sure people have been drawn in
by the moths and everything else just attracted to that house.
It is an incredible display. We are going to have
all the displays up on our website as well, so
if you do want to pack up the car with
the kids and take them right and seem all the
lights will have a special like, we'll have a map
(12:40):
that you can check out.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Nice and I reckon that the eighty nine other people
who have just done a little celebratory dance because to
this year Michael wins.
Speaker 5 (12:49):
But next year it's a free for all.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Absolutely. Yes, we'll be back into it again. Yes, and
thank you very much for coming in.
Speaker 10 (12:55):
Max our pleasure. We love being involved in this competition.
Brings Brisbane together.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Doesn't it does?
Speaker 6 (12:58):
Mate?
Speaker 2 (12:59):
It does? You can and then get a Christmas break,
man't you?
Speaker 13 (13:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (13:02):
Another week and then I'm off for a few weeks
with the wife and the kids up the beach, so
I might put up some of their own lights. Yeah,
don't judge us. Thanks, it's pretty.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Much quite a spectacular. Thanks for going to mat and
thanks for being a part of it. Channel seven once again,
you're on.
Speaker 7 (13:16):
A Kid Now with CoreOS the podcast.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
So nine weeks ago, I said, I want to get
fit for Christmas.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
It's kids get fit for Christmas work out.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
I didn't want to do wagh ins. I said there
was a shirt that I saw myself in and I
would like flashback on Facebook from ten years ago at
Troy and M's wedding. I was like, I want to
see if I can get back in that shirt.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
And last week, last Friday, when we did this, one
button was still protesting.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
But you have smashed it out this week.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
I've been going hard this week.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Anyone seeing our social media, you would have seen you
working with Corey in the gym.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
You would have seen us all in the pool.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
Yep, yep.
Speaker 5 (13:51):
So the shirt is on.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
It is on. I'll step back from the desk, so
you guys can okay, we're going. Well, that's good, it's
pretty good.
Speaker 5 (13:59):
That's really good. You haven't wag have you waged yourself?
Speaker 11 (14:03):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Man?
Speaker 4 (14:04):
I wish we knew, because I reckon, you've lost about
ten kilo. I reckon, are you happy?
Speaker 2 (14:09):
I am? Well, I am, but I'm also going to
keep it's a start. I'll keep going to start. Yeah, yeah,
and then and then next year.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
And then I was just about to say this is
a lifestyle.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
It is.
Speaker 6 (14:20):
Once you start, you can't stop.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
And the stuff I've done is all sustainable, Like I
think that's the thing. I didn't go like crazy hard
on it.
Speaker 6 (14:27):
Swimming.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Maybe not the swimming, but other stuff. The diet stuff
hasn't been that hard.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
Yeah, And I will put this up on our social
smot wee kels because you see yourself when you started,
and you see yourself now, and you will see a
dramatic difference.
Speaker 6 (14:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
I nearly brought you know what. I've tried on another
shirt today which looks exactly the same and looks better.
And I was so closed to bring it in, just
going I'm just gonna wear it instead.
Speaker 16 (14:53):
Have you been doing that in the mirror after a
shower like quick little flax?
Speaker 2 (14:59):

ages Rus.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
That everyone saw coming. The worst kept secret in radio
in this decade finally came to fruition when this happened.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Where we've been talking about what you're going to do
next year, is your careers wrapped up as a footballer.
Speaker 6 (16:19):
I'm want to stay with you guys.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
We would love that.
Speaker 7 (16:24):
Well, it's doomed up in here. That is why you
had to go.
Speaker 17 (16:29):
Well, things started off without a hitch when Robin spoke
to Corey's wife, Tigan and found out.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
All the things. How did you meet Corey?
Speaker 8 (16:37):
Now he met Ashgrove Wilworths in the yog at Isle.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Okay, but your dad is one of the greatest legends
in gene miles.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
So did he know that?
Speaker 8 (16:45):
No, he didn't have to start, and that's why he
ran away for a good twelve months.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
So as soon as you found out.
Speaker 16 (16:52):
It's scary date his daughter. It was Corey Parker that
actually tanged my mind.
Speaker 8 (16:58):
He actually started ringing door ballot two am one morning,
eight times, messaged me six, sent me two snapchats And
it was only because I opened a snapchat that he
knew that I was obviously on my phone and then
started yelling out to my window.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
So you're on the way home and you've decided I
love this school. Somewhere in between a great romance and
like some type of harassments.
Speaker 7 (17:23):
She is a lucky woman.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Then it was time to see how Brizzie felt about
Corey joining the team.
Speaker 11 (17:30):
Oh my goodness, you got my.
Speaker 9 (17:34):
Daughter when she heard that on the radio coming to school,
she screened that hard out.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
I mean, look, who doesn't want to wake up with
Corey or for a start the Furry Pagan and Kip's journey.
Speaker 5 (17:46):
To get fit for Christmas worry out.
Speaker 17 (17:49):
This week was a punished for our mate, to say
the least, Poor Kippathy were.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Like two sets in, Corey has already flogged me.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
That's right.
Speaker 17 (17:58):
Can I have a five check from Corey?
Speaker 1 (17:59):
I had, and then Corthy smelled something a bit fishy,
so he had to call in the big guns.
Speaker 6 (18:07):
Just some reps that I just want to just clear up.
Speaker 16 (18:10):
Yeah, chin ups, I'm not the best at but you
were on a band assisted up already. Yes, Nathan was
very close to you. Yes, And I feel like did
he ever help?
Speaker 1 (18:21):
He gave me a little push.
Speaker 5 (18:24):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 17 (18:25):
Then it was time for Robin to put her flotation
devices into gear and show the boys how it's done.
So they took it to the pool.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
He don't care.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
You're all right? Yeah, it's a lot how and I remember,
oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
So you are two laps down out of forty. I
only committed to twenty, okay, eighteen eighteen to go?
Speaker 5 (18:51):
How many laps.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
Did we do Corey.
Speaker 6 (18:53):
Well fit up.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
Twenty he kidd help it.
Speaker 7 (18:59):
Excellent flippers he stole me.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Now, something you may not know about our friend Choreos
is that he's one of those old young people.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
For someone who's thirty years old, the amount of old
person wounds you've got, like hips and things like that.
Speaker 16 (19:15):
Yeah, I just had a lot of clean outs and
stuff reattached and fixed so.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Old people's injuries out the yin Yank much left. He's
got nothing left that hasn't been broken or cobbled back together.
Speaker 17 (19:28):
So we were the calls out to find the oldest
young person in Brisy.
Speaker 11 (19:33):
My sister in law is a bit of banana. She's
only twenty nine. She's always got a quilting project, or
a crocheting project or a stewing projects on the go.
She once brought a cretaine project on holidays. So a
seven year old and we'll spend hours in front of you,
Tue watching.
Speaker 14 (19:52):
Bob Roths tutoral, not anything exciting.
Speaker 15 (19:54):
He has landscape.
Speaker 7 (19:56):
Oh, Cory, you've got nothing to worry about him.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
And dude, I'm not bad.
Speaker 5 (19:59):
At twenty twenty.
Speaker 17 (20:01):
Four was large, but twenty twenty five will be even bigger.
We've got one big gunned guy, one fit bearded man,
and one hot redhead with a box scout.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
And we will see you next year when you wake
up with Robert Kim now with gas in twenty twenty five,
for the very last time for.
Speaker 17 (20:18):
A producer cast and producer, Scottie, let's make so much.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
Should we get a vibe check?
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Please stop Carass from all of us here kids ninety
seven three Merry Christmas, you filled the animals and wishing.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
You all the best for the new year.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
It won't be the same without these I know, Cass
and Scott.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Thank you very much for everything you've brought to the
show over the last couple of years. He's your obligatory
and you are moving on to unusual territory, better lives,
better lives, not necessarily in radio.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
We've broken them. They're leaving the industry.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Yeah because of me, No core is anybody here for
five days? Yeah, okay, Classic Kip doesn't even have her
mic on to join.
Speaker 7 (21:14):
Corus is so tall I can barely read.
Speaker 12 (21:18):
It's a bittersweet morning because yeah, this is closing the
chapter of radio for me.
Speaker 6 (21:22):
I'm moving out of the industry. I'm going to go
work for Emil Duris.
Speaker 12 (21:25):
Second, I'm very excited for the future there.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
But yeah, brand and stuff.
Speaker 12 (21:30):
I'll be doing social media with him at some of
his companies. But you have been doing this almost fifteen years,
so it's it's wild to think about not stepping back
into a studio, not going to miss your arm.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
No, you're not going to miss your arm.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Yeah, Well the crazy A lot of people say they're
going and then they come back in a year, So well,
might see you.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
If you think that is unusual way to we hear
what wonderful cast is doing.
Speaker 17 (21:54):
I'm stepping into wooden kitchen where.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
You're making You're making wooden spins.
Speaker 17 (22:00):
My brother's making the wooden spoons, and I'm going to
be selling So.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
But okay, give some context to that. You are from
a very successful Greek wood family.
Speaker 16 (22:09):
Greek wood.
Speaker 17 (22:09):
For my dad sells a lot of hard wood, despite
what you may say, Scottie, So yeah, he has a
wholesale business and then we've turned that into a retail
and we're doing wooden spoons.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
How can people find you?
Speaker 6 (22:20):
The woodencotali dot com adi.
Speaker 12 (22:22):
Spelt kutali k o u t A l I okay,
you had to think about that for a seconds.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
The future as an Internet expert. He's not happy with you. Well,
have a fantastic break where we will have the best
bits over the next couple of weeks and then the
show proper next year with Coreo. It's mate very excited
to have you on board for next year. Yes, thank you.
Speaker 6 (22:45):
I just got to squat a long way down for
this time. I'm excited.
Speaker 16 (22:49):
I'm very sad that they're going because it's been fun
and I was looking forward to all the stuff I
would have been doing outside of the office.
Speaker 6 (22:57):
But yeah, I'm excited. It's something I want to do
for a long time.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Yeah, this would be great and they'll just just disgrace
themselves at the Christmas party after.
Speaker 6 (23:08):
You're going a.
Speaker 7 (23:08):
Kids now with CoreOS the podcast.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Halfway through the podcast, so so what's happening for you, Corey?
You've you've had one big, heavy, arduous week here on. Yeah,
after your retirement from the Broncos. How long? So how
long in between?
Speaker 6 (23:23):
Do you have?
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Two months from the last game?
Speaker 6 (23:26):
We didn't make finals, So what's that September August? Yeah,
so probably two months off.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
Now you have one week on and then yeah, six weeks, big.
Speaker 16 (23:37):
Yeah, Like honestly that the first month went pretty quick.
You know, I was doing a feit of stuff. But
you got to take the kids on holidays for a
couple of weeks.
Speaker 6 (23:45):
That was nice. But to be honest, I got no
plans for the next holiday break.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
But you're not going to go north or anything.
Speaker 16 (23:55):
Yeah, well we're going to try and go see probably
some of Tiagans famly into ansel Mine and your pun
and bellow. But otherwise if not, I'm probably gonna just
put around home and play some golf. I only get
back in the golf. It's gone shocking lately. But yeah,
(24:15):
and then obviously, you know, when the kids finished school.
I love spending time with the kids, so you know,
I love just taking them down to the park, going
and just honestly, I want to do something at home
with them. I love thinking I can build stuff. Yeah
I probably can't. Yeah, I want to do something like that,
so I'd.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Like to try and yeah, fail, Well I've got We've
got one week on the Sunday Coast books, but that's it.
And actually this morning when my I've got two alarms,
there was one on my watch that goes off, and
then I've been using my phone as a backup, but
I don't need the backup. I'm going to turn that off.
(24:54):
But and that normally goes off while I'm in the shower,
so it makes me get out of the shower the
backup one. But then as I got the shower today
and turn that off, I was like, how good. I'm
going to turn this baby if for like the next
six weeks. And then I heard Sienna in her room crying,
and then I just went, oh, no.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
I've got a real life.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
I'm going to have to help for the next six weeks.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
Did that only just occur to you today?
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Well, I just because Naomi has been so great while
while while I've had to go to work. She just
takes the overnights but not need my buddy, this is
going to be worse. My life's going to be worse.
Speaker 6 (25:26):
Might send some photos on the golf course on the
back of a bike.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
How's your life going?
Speaker 2 (25:36):
We go, oh, no, okay, you want to face outwoods
now for some reason? Okay, good.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
I know you're so funny because when we had a
Christmas party, you were like very sort of smug about
the fact that when Sienna was on you.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
She didn't cry.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
Was with Naomi.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
She didn't like it in that in the baby.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
Yeah, just be careful what you wish for, buddy.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
No, I'm going to be spending a lot of time.
Although we made banana bread the other day. She was
stretched from the front of me. I was mixing up stuff.
That'll be making banana at four am.
Speaker 6 (26:07):
There's something you can do for a walk.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
That's about dogs for a walk, Like, what will you
still do? Then?
Speaker 8 (26:14):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (26:14):
No, stop?
Speaker 6 (26:15):
She can have a holiday.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
She doesn't watch a holiday.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
Okay, and tell me where is Raffi during the holidays.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
He's going to be mostly with me. Yeah, I think
he's going to do. I think he's got a week
with his mum. But the rest of the time will
be with walking and the dog.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
That's beautiful. That's how I lost all my weight.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
I strapped my kids into prams and then so there
was one and then two, and then I had a
three baby pram and I literally did the heels of intrapillige.
Speaker 16 (26:38):
Okay, but see, boys, you gotta literally strap them in
like one strap low, one strap, Yeah you.
Speaker 6 (26:43):
Do, yeah, otherwise they're squimming out of that.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Well, maybe that'll work for me. Then I will come back.
I'll be in that shirt without even one little qualm.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
There you go to this, so your holiday looks like
lots of painful exercise, waking up early, waking up early
and parenting.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Yep, go you buddy, great, get fucked.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Romany kids now with Correos the podcast Robert's tell them
that news.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
Actually, were you guys a fan of the movie? I
know what you did last summer? It was in nineteen
ninety seven.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Yes, Jennifer Love, he was at her peak.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
Yes, Sara Gella, Yes, Freddy Prince.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
Junior, Yes, I did like that. It was scary.
Speaker 6 (27:33):
Do you move? It was scary.
Speaker 4 (27:35):
But the sequel is being made in Sydney.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
It's been a long time between drinks, different casts. No,
Freddy Prince Junior is living in Sydney with Sarah Michelle Geller.
And yeah, they're they're making the sequel to it finally. Yeah,
And that means that that couple has brought their kids
out and I live in their best life now.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
They made the first I think they came here and
made another movie. They made a movie on the Gold Coast.
Might have been Scooby Doo or something. That, yes they did,
and they famously had to fly to Sydney to get
a good meal, and they pissed off everyone on the
Gold Coast because they were like, yeah, oh you can't
do there's nothing we can eat here on the.
Speaker 16 (28:14):
Like.
Speaker 5 (28:15):
Really it was the trollers esc world.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Interesting interestingly that now they're making it, but it's in
Sydney not the Gold Coast. I reckon they might have
put that down as a rule. Now I don't like them.
Speaker 6 (28:26):
Yeah, if you all get murdered in that movie.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
Yes, okay, So some conjecture about this film. Did you
guys see Babylon? Yes, no, Brad Pitt, Margo Robbie. Yes,
it was terrible, didn't I didn't mind it.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
See I knew you were going to say that.
Speaker 5 (28:45):
It was just it was so long.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
It's very long. You have to watch it in shifts,
which is why it's good that that's what's bad. But
it's on Netflix. You just watch it hour and.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
Ten come back, okay, Leave in three Ships is a
bad movie.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
I will admit there's there's sort of parts of the
storyline that are unnecessary, like you go, okay, we don't
need it.
Speaker 6 (29:10):
To write down what happens. So you remember a lot.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
It was a lot. I think Margo actually got nominated
for an Oscar. She was excellent in it, but she
has said she just doesn't get it. She loved this
film so much.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Weird and Dwayne the Rock Johnson is making the live
action version of Muana.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Now.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
Last week we were talking about his workout plan because
his body is extraordinary, and he was saying how he
has his cheap meal on a Sunday and everyone was
believing everything he said. That rat He's been discovered that
he actually wore a body suit.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
Because he's so wide as Maui. Because Maui is like
it's more like he looks like a second rower plant,
not sort of like the Rock who's tall.
Speaker 7 (29:54):
He is.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
So that's a bodysuit, yes, And he.
Speaker 4 (29:57):
Had us believed for a really long time.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
But someone asked him that there was something a bit
weird in one of the shots and he goes, yeah,
you busted me. It was actually a suit that wasn't me.
He said, I'm pretty bulked up underneath. But the other
thing too, which I do understand, is Maui is covered
in tattoos. Yes, so the bodish suit would also help
not I mean he's covered in tattoos, but different ones.
Speaker 6 (30:17):
Yeah, he gets off Scott free for line.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Ye kind of. I think I just do that. Like
when I've got my shirt check in in about half
an hour from now. Imagine if I can just put
a bodysuit on.
Speaker 6 (30:36):
We got at that come from.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
I got a sleeve during the ads.
Speaker 7 (30:41):
You're many kids now with CoreOS the podcast.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Now, one thing that you will learn about Kit Whiteman
Corey is that he is shocking at gifts.
Speaker 6 (30:50):
I've learned that in the last week.
Speaker 11 (30:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
And you, on the other hand, seemed to be great,
which I have I have a lot of respect for.
Because schol friend Naomi's birthdays.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
On Wednesday next Wednesday, fourth December. Right, I screwed up
again already. I can't believe how much I have trouble.
I going on yesterday, Well because Karen Dale Golf Course
have sent me her thing, So, hey, do you guys
want to come out and do some pup put and
whatever else and have dinner? And I said, yeah, that's great.
I'm gone said to know me, Hey, why do we
go here next week like Wednesday?
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (31:24):
And She's like, are you serious?
Speaker 3 (31:25):
So you've againized a courier male photo shoot. I know
for Wednesday morning and Wednesday.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
Morning because hey, they'll look good for lunch.
Speaker 6 (31:33):
Oh well then, and then I thought we was going to.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
Go pop put.
Speaker 3 (31:39):
Okay, well, the Kels brothers are not nearly as bad
as you. Travis is going out with Taylor Swift. Her
birthday is the thirteenth of December. She's born in eighty nine,
so she's going to be thirty five. Kind of a
significant birthday coming up. And Jason and Travis have appeared
on Jimmy Kimmel to talk about what to buy the
woman who has everything.
Speaker 18 (31:58):
It's tough to sharp for, you know, people that can
have anything that they want.
Speaker 6 (32:03):
So what do you do?
Speaker 18 (32:04):
You gotta go to you know, handmade gifts, something sentimental,
maybe that is near and dear to them. You know,
I think that do you make things by hand? I've
never done it, but I think it would work really well.
I'm got something on my sleeve this year, so it's
a Macaroni necklace. It works on me with my kids
(32:25):
very well. Funny if you make Taylor on macaroni necklace
and then all of a sudden, millions of girls are
wearing this.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Yeah, that is good.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Yes, you know.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
I actually the first birthday, for Nami's first birthday, which
I forgot, I made her a card on the day,
like I just got you know, pens and papers, and
I drew a card and I wrote a really nice
message in it. And now that's tradition. She doesn't want
a real card. I have to write, I have to
make a card up.
Speaker 6 (32:55):
Now I'm amazed that you still together. I'm still together. Now,
I'm amazed, Like this is incredible.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
I mean, to be fair, my boyfriend Olivia has still
not given me my birthday present yet.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
Now, hang on. We spoke to him about this a
week ago. Yes, and when your birthday's gone, right, Yeah,
it was like three weeks ago, on the thirteenth of November,
and he said he was getting it made. Yes. Is
it made?
Speaker 13 (33:19):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (33:20):
So I know.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
I was up there on Wednesday night. I went and
stayed with him on the Sunny coast, and he only
told me yesterday that he actually had it. But the
moment didn't feel right because both of us were feeling unwell.
Speaker 5 (33:33):
So he was really sick.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
He had his tummy bug and I was just chattered,
and so it was a very kind of quiet night.
Speaker 6 (33:40):
But when he told me, I was like, no, the
only way, the only way he could tear this alive
is to say he got scammed. He got skimmed, just saying,
for his sake, say you got scammed. You just had
to re order it, right, Like that's just now it's happening.
Speaker 5 (33:55):
Hest What do you think he doesn't have it?
Speaker 2 (34:00):
It are because I spoke to him at your party
actually about about what I was trying to get ideas
at the time to see what he'd actually gotten. So
what did you give her on the day? Well, on
the day just flowers and an n scarred obviously, But
I mean she knows that something's coming and you're having
it made. I haven't made for her. Yeah yeah, where
about you having a mate?
Speaker 14 (34:21):
Then?
Speaker 2 (34:21):
I know very well scam Okay, he is playing with
fire home off on that gift.
Speaker 5 (34:34):
When is it going to be the.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
Right time and we're heading off on our big motorbike
trip on Sunday?
Speaker 5 (34:39):
Yeah, I mean, is that the right time? At the
back of a bike?
Speaker 2 (34:42):
I don't just pull over it yet the pies, Robin,
this is what do you.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
Know?
Speaker 7 (34:51):
You have many kids now with Correos the podcast.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
Give the gift everyone wants to receive with a so
far to task gift.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
It's important you get the filling right.
Speaker 7 (35:02):
Quite often, I've heard two holes.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Rub him down when he comes up on me with
robbing and Kip, and now with Corio. It's innuendo bingo,
all right, innuendo bingo. The way it works is we
get two of us facing each other ponchos on but
a mouth filled to the brim with water, and then
(35:25):
we play some audio and see who cracks first, there
by spraying the water over the other one. The person
who gets sprayed ironically wins.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
So what is the tally so far? I've played three
times because we did the one time when testing. Yes,
I have not sprayed anyone.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
I've got a perfect result, lost but one. Yes, I've
lost but one. I sprayed you once and got sprayed
by Corey twice.
Speaker 6 (35:50):
I think yeah, I'm.
Speaker 4 (35:52):
Yes, so yeah, Cory has not been sprayed.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
At all and kIPS one, one and three.
Speaker 13 (36:00):
I think so.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
The idea is that you go online and register to
win yourself a thousand bucks to spend at Soak bath House.
You get to choose one of us to represent you,
but one of the options we didn't give when you
chose one of us is our producers because it just
so happens to be the final day for Scott, producer
Scott and producer Cast. They're both leaving the show at
(36:23):
the end of this year, and.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
Normally when this stuff happens, they're dead to us. Yes,
and we don't like them and we won't speak to
them because they're leaving us. Yes, but this is one
up better because these two are hilarious and we.
Speaker 4 (36:34):
Love them so much.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
So as a way of saying, hey, you guys are
the best, but we're going to get you to ray
each other with water.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Yes, this is our thank you, Scotty, Kass, it's your hound,
So put on your pod shows while we talked to
these guys.
Speaker 6 (36:48):
This is great.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Shelley, Shelley out of Kallenger. Shelley, you registered, who would
you like producer Scott or producer Cast to represent you
in this I will go Cat go with Cass likes
Ucas and Troy. That means you get Scotty by default.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
Okay, so we're now assisting by putting on their ponchos
getting their head fence sorted.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Scotty is miffed.
Speaker 5 (37:17):
He's embracing it, but Scotty is not happy.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
Okay, now's a full looking at each other. The first
bit of innuendo. Now, this is from a bargain hunt
out of the UK. Here is grab number one.
Speaker 10 (37:33):
This lovely manor in Gloucestershire was home to the collector
Charles Paget.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
Okay, Scott is the worst Shelley A thousand bucks to
spend at soap bath house. Yeah, mostly done. No good
for Scott, no good for Troy, and and good luck
and all your adventures next year. Probably the final round
(38:08):
of innuendo bingo.
Speaker 5 (38:10):
Thank god for that.
Speaker 7 (38:12):
Ronny Kid now with Correos the podcast.
Speaker 5 (38:16):
I want to know about your friendship groups.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
I'm guessing because you're part of a really big team
in the Broncos Corey, you have a lot of male friends.
Speaker 6 (38:23):
Do you, Yes?
Speaker 16 (38:24):
But also I guess from school, not a heap, but
I have a guess a small core group of friends there.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
But so you got even non footy friends.
Speaker 6 (38:34):
Yeah, and I like that because.
Speaker 16 (38:36):
When you when you finish the season, you want to
switch off and get away spend a lot of time
with footy friends. But you're like to get away and
spend with your other mates.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Okay, and Kip, you've got to I've met most of
your mates.
Speaker 6 (38:49):
And all three.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Yes, it's a small actually yeah, three or four or
five maybe, Yeah, it's an eclectic mix.
Speaker 5 (38:58):
It depends if you wants something.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
That's not fair. It's funny, but it's not.
Speaker 5 (39:07):
Here is this guy.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
He's a psychologist and he's got this really interesting thing
to say about friendships. His name is Simon Senek, and
I want you to see if you have a friend
like this.
Speaker 14 (39:18):
We always talk about close friends as the person you
would call when you're in need, when you need help,
the person you can cry with. But I think there's
even a closer level of friendship, which is when you
can call somebody when something.
Speaker 6 (39:30):
Amazing happened and they're not jealous.
Speaker 14 (39:33):
And there's no jealousy, and you can call them about
this amazing thing that you accomplished or that was given
to you, or that you won. And if you were
told anybody else that, they think you were bragging. But
to that friend, they have unbridled joy with you and
for you. And what I've learned is the number of
people I would call with good news is actually smaller
(39:53):
than the number of people I would call with badness interesting.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
It's really interesting.
Speaker 4 (39:57):
So do you have a friend like that?
Speaker 2 (39:59):
Yeah? I mean my go to would be my brother Luke.
Speaker 5 (40:01):
He's like the first he's the greatest cheerleader.
Speaker 18 (40:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Yeah, and you can tell him all that stuff. But
then I probably got Yeah, my other four closest mates
would all be in that. In that like you know,
when you get a job or something like that, or
if you you know, bitcoin goes up whatever else.
Speaker 13 (40:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (40:17):
Probably, And I don't say this as a lie, but
probably most of the ones that I keep close.
Speaker 6 (40:23):
Are all like that.
Speaker 16 (40:24):
And that's why I sort of keep them close because
I don't feel like the ones that they're not truly
happy for your success are the ones that you should
keep close and hang out with all the time, because
you know they're probably not your true friends.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
I guess I'm interested, though, as any of those people
from the Broncos, because you guys have had to be
competitive as well as teammates.
Speaker 6 (40:45):
Yeah, and yeah, there is a couple boys from there.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
Can you tell us who did you tell when you
got this job and you're excited about it?
Speaker 6 (40:53):
Was one of them?
Speaker 3 (40:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (40:54):
Okay, and Matchett, I've stayed really close with over the
over the time. And then another one that that isn't
like my neighbor the last sort of four or five
years that we've sort of got know, grew really close
and you know, all he's ever sort of done is
try and pushing and want me to to succeed and
(41:15):
do all that.
Speaker 4 (41:16):
So isn't that the neighbor that when you're supposed to
baby your children?
Speaker 3 (41:20):
Great guys, you gont have a beer with your neighbor
one kids are doing?
Speaker 2 (41:28):
Why is it his wife that look after your kids?
Speaker 11 (41:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (41:31):
And his daughter when she's there.
Speaker 16 (41:33):
But yeah, I've honestly got a good group that I
can tell all that sort of stuff too, And that's
why I like, you know the friends I have that's good.
Speaker 3 (41:40):
Well, it's an interesting question for all of those stuff
ask because if you don't have a cheerleader in the room.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
Who's your who's your biggest who's your bigges cheerleader? Great news?
The first one you.
Speaker 3 (41:49):
Call, I've got a lot, actually, Heidi Ness, Fiona Nikki
like I do.
Speaker 5 (41:55):
I have a really cool group of I mean, look,
let's be real, mate, my news hasn't been great over
so they're kind of grateful if anything, good has.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
Happened to be honest, If if I see my phone
ringing and it says Robin Bailey, I go alright, sucking
up wife, and something something's going down.
Speaker 7 (42:17):
