Speaker 1 (00:12):
I heard podcasts, hear more kiss podcasts, playlists, and listen
live on the free Robinie.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Kiff Now with Choreo. It's the podcast.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
It's Robin and Kiff Now Choreo. It's on demand the
podcast when we've got Young Patty when we have a
junior reporter competition with us as well. Hey young Patty, good,
how are you?
Speaker 4 (00:45):
Can?
Speaker 2 (00:46):
I ask you?
Speaker 5 (00:46):
Is it what you thought it would be coming in here?
Speaker 6 (00:48):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (00:49):
No, not really, but it's better.
Speaker 5 (00:53):
What do you think? What did you think it was like.
Speaker 7 (00:56):
Going to be like just like a building FM.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah, you know that one that's like a community station.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:03):
I drive past and it's just like a house. I
thought it was going to be like that, But like
when I came here, it's like a whole building and
all that.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yeah, they do it proper because we got big, big
stars that come in and stuff. We can't we can't
be in a house. Yeah, yeah, properly.
Speaker 8 (01:19):
Luke James coming in at one stage where he'd be bushed.
Speaker 9 (01:22):
I don't know if you've seen.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
That, but and there.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
And there's lots more computer screens than most people imagine too.
Speaker 5 (01:30):
Yeah, there's a lot of computer screens.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah, well, Craigie, Max sent me a message after hearing
your your great effort at doing the sports. He says
you should give him run at the posting Olympics. Which
is something that's an old radio thing. This is where
the DJ talks over the start of a song, but
you can't talk over the words. You want to just
talk over the musical bit at the start, and you
want to sort of, you know, say a little bit
(01:53):
about what's going on in the day or something like that,
add a little bit of flair, but then you want
to talk right up to the to the post is
what they call it. That's the second the word start.
So I'll give you an example. And I get a
bit of a head start over here because I get
to see the countdown on the song, so I know
how much time I've got less. You'd be something like
having a great morning today in Brizzy. It looks like
(02:14):
we've got a top of nineteen fourteen right now. How
good is post alone now that he's had to crack
a country music and here he is teaming up with
Morgan Wallen.
Speaker 10 (02:23):
I had some help on Kiss ninety seven to three
that was actually so good. It wasn't great I had
I had time left.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
All right, Cory's going to Cory's going to have at halftime.
Robin's going to have a go at halftime. So are
you Patty? Alright? Alrighty still do it halfway through the podcast?
Speaker 7 (02:43):
Sounds good?
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Robin now with Corey the podcast.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
So just after the show yesterday was announced the Queensland
team for Game two State of Origin. Game one wasn't
great for Queensland and so I guess changes had to
be made and DC's name, Dally Cherry Ebns was thrown
around pretty much immediately after the game.
Speaker 9 (03:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (03:10):
Yeah, it's it's always a hard one. I think it's
especially with a halfback. I think it's it's always a
pretty hard decision. I thought if they're going to do
something like this, it would have been before Game one.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
Really you didn't think he'd be the captain this year?
Speaker 11 (03:25):
Oh no, I just thought if we're not thought but
when if you're going to do something like this, you know,
I think it's it's hard to do a mid mid
series because it's half back in your captain, Like it's
a pretty big deal. He's pivot, you know, he's the
main part of the main key. Like one of the
main keys to running the side. So while I think
(03:46):
it's a massive decision, you know, they definitely wouldn't have
made this decision lightly.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Billy Slater said pretty.
Speaker 12 (03:54):
Much just that we won't hear a negative word from
me about Daily.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Cherry Evans.
Speaker 12 (03:58):
You know what he's given this jersey and what he's
done for this footy team, in this group, no one
can take that away from him. But yeah, we just
we just feel that you weren't every opportunity to play
in this jersey, and we just feel that Tom dian
is at the opportunity to play in the number seven
jersey and we feel the right thing for the footy team.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
How would Daily be feeling right now? Would he been
anticipating that phone call?
Speaker 8 (04:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (04:21):
Well, you never want to be dropped or think going
to be dropped. I got dropped after after a Game one.
I'm pretty sure.
Speaker 9 (04:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (04:27):
It was Game one and I thought it was the
best game I played. So you just never expected and
when it comes you, I don't know. I was a
bit annoyed, but you know, it's it happens. It's it's
I believe they're the hardest teams to make you know,
you know news it was in Queensland, so you know
that itself.
Speaker 9 (04:48):
You know, it's it sucks, but it's yeah, it.
Speaker 11 (04:51):
Would have been hard for them to do that because
of who he is, what he's done, Like Billy said, like,
and I've played with Chas and he's a great player
to go.
Speaker 9 (04:58):
He's a great guy to play with. But it's why it.
Speaker 11 (05:02):
Looks for that, it's just they're gone with a different
direction with I guess how they want to play the
game now.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
At thirty six years old, that's probably his last It's
not the way you want to bow out, is it.
Speaker 11 (05:12):
It possibly could, but yeah, like you would think at
that age, but honestly, you just never know, like you
really don't. If he doesn't make himself uneligible.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Yeah, okay, he could come back one more.
Speaker 11 (05:22):
That they could still pick him and and look, but
that's not saying it's all his fault from game one.
Speaker 9 (05:29):
There's no way that is definitely his fault.
Speaker 11 (05:31):
Like you've got to give a halfback stuff to play with,
and you've got to give them time and you know,
the decisions to make while they're playing, and I believe
you know, for the for the team, they've really got
to they've got to give the boys the time to
play with the ball and actually give them.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Will the new players that have been named do that
for us because it's a few new players. Cape Well's
coming back. Yeah, he used to be a Bronco. He's
been over the Warriors. He's he's a great player. I'm
happy with him being back.
Speaker 8 (05:59):
Yeah. I've struggled to actually find out how they're going
to do the bench.
Speaker 9 (06:02):
I don't really know what they're going to do is.
Speaker 8 (06:06):
Back.
Speaker 11 (06:07):
Yeah, they got three with that, They've got three different
players on the bench.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
It looks maybe first I say back, this will be
for his first first game.
Speaker 9 (06:14):
Yeah, I don't know if they'll pick him on the bench.
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
So he's in the squad.
Speaker 9 (06:19):
In the squad they do that every game.
Speaker 11 (06:21):
They'll usually change two boys to give him more experience,
just to be around and experience.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
Captain.
Speaker 11 (06:30):
I think if they're going to go, you know, with
something that does it already, I would go Harry Grant
because he's a storm captain, does a great job as
a leader. He's a hooker, sees everything, you know, he's
in the middle, does a lot of work and he's
actually you know, Harry has become a long way in
the last few years with his game, and I think
(06:50):
he'd be the person to take charge.
Speaker 9 (06:53):
He wouldn't give it the monster, wouldn't as much as
I love him.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Because he's because he plays for Melbourne as well, and
he's he's a key player, but get.
Speaker 11 (07:03):
In trouble just to talking too much to the ref
mate give him a break.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
So if you gave him actually power, if.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
You really win, you know, maybe the rogue guys are
the ones we need right now.
Speaker 11 (07:15):
I'm pretty sure reps can band, the captains will talk,
they can warn them. So I'm going to be the
first one to get You want him to play, but
you don't want him to be the communicating.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Enough now with Coreo the podcast, imagine knowing that you're
about to read the sports use for the first time,
like even as an adult, that it's it's pressure you.
You've got a time that you've got to go on.
You've got a time you've got to finish.
Speaker 11 (07:43):
When he's done it for me a going to do
it and you change stuff and random stuff.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
We gave you a few tennis players, Well that's about
to have him for young Paddy. Patty's in here he won
our junior reporter competition wonder thousand bucks. He's going to
go up Channel seven read the news up there, and
he's about to do his first sports report with Atlanta.
We met Patty in the studio just a second ago.
Speaker 7 (08:05):
We're going to make it funny, you know, yes, make
it funny that use my talking to good, use I
talk a lot.
Speaker 9 (08:13):
We got something common, mate.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
So Alana in our newsroom preparing for this great moment.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
What sort of sport have you got for Patty to read?
Speaker 6 (08:23):
Well, We've obviously got Corey's little League biggest game of
the week slash year, So a bit of a prep
on that one. But also Patty's given me such a
run for my money. He's he's coming with a giant
prep sheet with all the sports planning to cover.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
So good.
Speaker 6 (08:41):
We picked his favorite games from over the weekend and
they get a mention, which is great.
Speaker 9 (08:46):
How good?
Speaker 3 (08:47):
And you've got a question because Patty's in the studio
with us again. Now, hey, Patty, you've got to you
got a question for Corey?
Speaker 9 (08:52):
Mate?
Speaker 4 (08:52):
Yeah, I've got two.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Okay, what do you got?
Speaker 5 (08:55):
All right?
Speaker 7 (08:55):
What's harder coaching? Or find your car keys in the morning?
Speaker 11 (09:02):
Mate, because I know what my carkis. They stay in
one spot. Okay, otherwise I would lose them, trust me everything.
Speaker 8 (09:11):
But coaching so hard, to be honest, I didn't.
Speaker 9 (09:14):
Do much coach.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
No, we could tell that during the Corey's Little League.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
You just said everything that.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
Just repeat your opposition, coach.
Speaker 9 (09:24):
It's really hard. So definitely coaching.
Speaker 7 (09:27):
And have you ever gotten dact intentionally like when you
were playing footy?
Speaker 13 (09:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (09:31):
They doing it on purpose, all right?
Speaker 11 (09:33):
Not I remember a couple of times to come down.
But there's actually a famous photo of me and a guy.
It looks like his head is in my mum because
I got daed and he was tackling me, and it's
like it looked like it. Actually I think it was closed,
but John Knoxville reposted it, yeah, years ago. It was
actually so cool and captain.
Speaker 9 (09:57):
Yeah, yeah, it was pretty cool.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
But who is the player who managed to get.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
So close too? Lee again, you'll never forget forget it.
Speaker 11 (10:07):
Together because he was bretid But yeah, age and it
was funny as But I hope I've never been intentionally dacked,
but it happened a lot, all right.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Now we gotta we've gotta get to ads, and then
we're coming up with Atlanta's News, and then you're on
You're ready to go, Paddy, Yep, ready to go. It's next.
It's Kiss ninety seven Threat.
Speaker 7 (10:26):
Now with the podcast, first to Cory's Little League. There
are just five sleeps until North Side and South Side
go head to head.
Speaker 5 (10:38):
At Davis Park.
Speaker 7 (10:39):
The Dino Knights and the Kangaroos are putting their finishing
touches on premp. It was a big weekend of footies.
Dolphins destroyed the Dragons fifty six or six. Someone call
Lifeguard Kins up. Now there's seventh of the ladder. The
Knights pulled off a crazy come back to beat Manly
in Golden Point. Klem Ponger is a machine and the
(11:02):
storm's at the Cowboys thirty eight to fourteen. Jerome News
had a party with two tries, but it wasn't enough
to move Melbourn went into the top three. Bring on
round fifteen. Patty Smith reporting over and ow.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Well done.
Speaker 7 (11:21):
That was my first try.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Yeah when you're to get one, yeah, well done?
Speaker 8 (11:28):
All right when you win your.
Speaker 5 (11:32):
Good morning, your chances.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
What a great way to start the day.
Speaker 14 (11:36):
Morning.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Indeed, a highlight of the day. Now with Coriotes in
the morning.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Eighteen thirty seven. If you've just joined as Patty one
of our junior sports reporting competition one a thousand bucks
got to read the sports as he's just done. You
still it yet to go up Channel seven, but they
are filming this morning, so this will probably be on
the news tonight.
Speaker 5 (11:57):
Oh really, yeah, I reckon.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I don't send these guys into That was really good.
That was it flowed so well though.
Speaker 9 (12:07):
You did that really good.
Speaker 8 (12:08):
You should be so that.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Now vicorios the podcast.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Now I'm renovating. I'm doing small renovations, mostly because of
the cost of everything at the moment. Since the Olympics
were named, building costs of just skyrocketed.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
Yeah, well, I guess you're not insane.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
There's so many reasons for it. I know, the cost
of just like wood, timber and stuff like that has
gone up. But then you've also got trade's that have
got other other places they can work now they can
build stadium.
Speaker 11 (12:38):
But that's why you've got to get multiple quotes quotes,
you really do, Like you've got to be so careful,
Like they get a big difference in quotes.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Oh yeah, we had a difference of one hundred k
between one builder and another.
Speaker 9 (12:51):
So that's why.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
But so, and one of the ways that I've chosen
to renovate is that I like to repurpose. It's part
of my ethos, like with secondhand clothing. So for example,
we read I'm reading Who's the Royal We I'm reading
my kitchen, but I'm keeping the bench tops because they're marble.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
So we're just trying to, you know, do the wei
is my girlfriend Linda. She flips houses, Let's be real.
She knows what she's doing.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
And I'm just the lackey that goes to Bunnings to
get the stuff she needs.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
You need one of those and every duo.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
But something has happened in my Bunnings excursions.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Now, let me just be clear. In the last ten.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Years, by choice, I would have gone to Bunnings less
than a handful of times.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Oh wow, Like it's just not.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
A place I go because I don't need to.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
But now, and the good news for Bunnings is that
we do lots of price comparisons and generally they're the cheapest.
And I've got a really big one at Newstead, so
it's quite close to where I live. But something has
happened that. I noticed that if it had happened to
you too, you would have been so insulted. But I
usually come straight from work, so I ring Linda and
(14:01):
I say, is there anything we need? And then I'll
go to Bunnings and go and pick it up for
and she'll send me at least or whatever all photos.
And as soon as I walk in, yes, I've come
from work. Yes, I always dress up to go to work.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
But as soon as.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
I walk in in my high heels and skirt, leather
skirt or whatever, a bunning Stuff member descends on me.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
It is the best thing ever.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
You would look like you're not from here, totally clawless.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
And they're always so helpful.
Speaker 9 (14:31):
That's very good.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
And even they'll never left me wandering aimlessly through the aisles.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
Someone. It's like a censor. It's like a red heat
sensor that goes.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
Whoops, she's lost, find help that one.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Yeah, And it's happened so many times, and I think, gosh,
if this happened to YouTube, you'd be so offended.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
I like being left alone.
Speaker 9 (14:53):
The bunnies are the same, I believe.
Speaker 11 (14:55):
When in timbers are the right paintings in the front
landscaping to the left, and then the second back it'll
be it'll be bathrooms and everything sings directly behind the paints.
Speaker 8 (15:07):
You're looking at me like I know, and then plumbing
to the right.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Sometimes they mixed up a bit, do they, Yeah, because
my electricals are the back right. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
Newstead has two stories.
Speaker 9 (15:20):
Oh that's different.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah it is. That's a whole different world. The new said, yeah,
everything's different levels the big ship.
Speaker 15 (15:26):
I do get.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Interested in the dogs where you're gone by dog old
dog oil now, oh look at but anyway, so, yes,
they're super helpful and I may or may not be
an idiot because I have been back three times to
change the shower head.
Speaker 5 (15:43):
What did you do time?
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Linda sent me if I don't get this one, and
I didn't read the fine print, so I got the
black one instead of the chrome one, okay, and then
I couldn't find the receipt.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
They were so helpful.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
The service desks, they went, well, we haven't really sold
many of those. Yeah, I think that was you yesterday.
So we changed it over to the chrome one. I
took the chrome one home and didn't really think that
it was huge in.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
My room, really small okay, right, so you couldn't fit
in your shower.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I took one look at it and went, what are
you going to stick it out like a teller, like
a telescope out of your rope?
Speaker 5 (16:13):
Where is it going to go?
Speaker 9 (16:16):
Surely you've got like some measurements from the roof.
Speaker 8 (16:19):
Sure you know?
Speaker 5 (16:23):
Like No, I just like the look of it, and
look it was the right.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
You know what I actually thought?
Speaker 1 (16:31):
I thought, No, I want those two shower heads because
if I can use the top shower head when I
wash my hair and the lower one, you know, take
it off.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
The handy with the hand the handle you can take off.
But you're yeah, it sounds like you're doing it the
tope of Reno. That's going to drive me crazy because
I go through places like where it was I think
it was in Bali and had these beautiful sinks and
there's beautiful tap wear, but whoever put them together hadn't
measured it all properly, and so the taps were so
low that you couldn't wash your hands without touching the sink,
(16:59):
so you had to scrape down there. I was like,
who's who's putting these things? You've gone, that's pretty and
that's pretty. Let's put them together.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
You've forgotten the most important thing.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
How cute?
Speaker 5 (17:08):
Was it?
Speaker 8 (17:10):
Practicality?
Speaker 3 (17:13):
If you can't wash your hands without touching the sink,
it's a fail.
Speaker 8 (17:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
Just my bathroom, mate, I've got a chandelier in my bathroom.
It's all got to look cute.
Speaker 9 (17:26):
He was walking in there. What a six?
Speaker 8 (17:28):
What of the five.
Speaker 5 (17:30):
You would not actually be able to sight?
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Yeah, but you think it's fabulous.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Robin. Now the podcast.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
Halfway through the podcast, we've got young Patty, our junior
reporter in with us as well, and we're about to
have a crack at the posting Olympics, which we explained
at the start of the podcast. Do you want to do?
You want to go first or last? Patty? Okay? All right,
all right, let's go Robin next there, okay, right, which
one are we going to do? I'm going to give
you Katie Perry Okay, Dark Horse Okay, okay, all right,
(18:06):
here you go take it away, Robin.
Speaker 5 (18:10):
Kid with Corey Oats And here is Katie Perry.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
She's going to be appearing in Ray'sman Next to Tuesday
and Wednesday Night.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
Where is the which lyrics.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Are to hear Okay, I'm like, hang on, he's talking
normally to talk on the tour.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
You got a tough one because there's a bit of
rapping going on. You almost had I've got your daughter,
but then it fell away. Okay, okay, Corey, Okay, what's
going on?
Speaker 9 (18:38):
All right?
Speaker 8 (18:39):
I'm not doing again?
Speaker 3 (18:39):
All right? So you're talking up to the works, all right,
who's he getting? I want to try and give you
a little bit more.
Speaker 8 (18:46):
You're going to pick some so annoying homes.
Speaker 5 (18:49):
Give him something he actually knows he shouldn't.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
You should know this. I'll give you this one. Okay,
all right, you're ready Corey?
Speaker 8 (18:55):
Gooday, guys, it is Robin Kipp and coy Oats here.
Speaker 11 (18:58):
We have a great week coming up, especially on the weekend.
Speaker 8 (19:01):
We have Corey's little league on Sunday at Davis Park.
Speaker 11 (19:04):
We had a cracking day there. There's no footy I
don't think in Brisbane this weekend. But we've got a
cold chill coming through. But here we got what's their buddy.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Day together, creaking, stop craking.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
Weekend would be.
Speaker 11 (19:19):
Cold cold, we got cold read.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
Let me help. I'm going to give you a try
and find a song that Patty. Patty will know as well,
so it's not too hard for him. Barbie Clai, Well,
this is one. This one is getting a lot of
player at the moment. We talked about this on the show,
so I reckon you should be able to do this one. Okay,
are you ready?
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Patty?
Speaker 9 (19:42):
All right?
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Here we go roblin.
Speaker 7 (19:44):
Kimp and coyotes in the morning, twenty five degrees outside,
have a good one, kiss ninety seventy three.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
I don't know what to do, what I'm doing, I
don't know.
Speaker 5 (20:08):
You did have a really long.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Good ever.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Rolling Kids Now the podcast.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
It's a rare moment on the show that we get
to be proud as.
Speaker 9 (20:23):
Yeah, isn't it for me? Definitely?
Speaker 8 (20:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (20:25):
I think we get a lot of things generally.
Speaker 11 (20:29):
Usually bugger ups and yeah, things is not going to
plan and the kids are suffering from that.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
But not this time, not today.
Speaker 11 (20:36):
Sony ride a bike, yes, without training, wheels, nothing there
the best. It only took a couple of guys, like
we we only tried this once for like thirty minutes,
(20:57):
maybe not even that two weeks ago, and I was
chasing after because she just yeah, it.
Speaker 9 (21:03):
Was not like she was so scared of doing it,
and like she was.
Speaker 11 (21:07):
She wanted to do it so bad though, but for
the for two weeks I just wasn't home enough.
Speaker 9 (21:11):
I was just so busy.
Speaker 11 (21:12):
And then when she's like that are your home, you know, like,
you know, can we do it today? I'm like, yeah, no,
worries mate, Like you want to do it?
Speaker 9 (21:18):
She goes, yes, I want to do it.
Speaker 11 (21:20):
So then for the next hour to two hours on
Sunday just gone. I took them off and then I thought,
I'm gonna start on the grass because the grass is
harder a pedal on. Yeah, softer fall line, but it's
a lot harder to balance and pedals. I'm like, if
she can get that close to not too bad, like
you know, she can then go on the road. And
(21:42):
it actually worked, so by the end of the hour
and a half she was doing laps around me around
about like oh really, so she didn't want to turn
the start and then we're about to finish, he goes, no, no,
I want to do it. And then it got to
the point where she was just right around and then
for like an hour in the afternoon she I want
to do it again, and I was so happy.
Speaker 8 (22:01):
I'm like, oh, this is a proud moment.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
I got something right and you actually captured it as
well as Yeah, happiness.
Speaker 8 (22:08):
Yeah, I was video just in case there was a
fun fall too, but there was.
Speaker 11 (22:13):
And I asked her because she was just so stiked.
She was so happy with the stuff. She wanted to
do it, and I was so happy. I'm so proud,
So yeah, I just thought i'd ask her. You know
why she was happy? Did you learn to ride your
bike on the weekend with no training wheels?
Speaker 9 (22:29):
Are you pretty excited?
Speaker 14 (22:34):
Happy?
Speaker 2 (22:35):
So happy?
Speaker 9 (22:36):
Why is that?
Speaker 7 (22:37):
Because now, daddy is that kind of footway training was
back on?
Speaker 9 (22:44):
You can ride your big without your wheels? Yeah, big.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
I'm not sure what I like more the fact that
Monty is truly adorable as a six year old, or
the fact that you changed your voice to talk to her.
Speaker 5 (22:58):
Oh yeah, the sweet cuts things.
Speaker 11 (23:02):
She's too kind of nice and like you can't talk
like you and then you got acts. But yeah, I
was just happy because she was just so determined, like
she struggled the first time so much.
Speaker 9 (23:13):
And I don't know, I just I don't know.
Speaker 11 (23:15):
She just really in that two hours, I couldn't believe it,
Like she just went from being so scared of just
no more.
Speaker 9 (23:21):
We're just writing.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
There's one more thing that was captured on this video.
Have you noticed that we were able to get this audio?
This is you make songs for everything, including peddling.
Speaker 9 (23:39):
Right, it worked all right? I noticed, I noticed when
she fell she's not peddling.
Speaker 11 (23:48):
Yeah, look and yeah, and there was the only way
to get it in that tournament doing it.
Speaker 8 (23:52):
Probably that's a good reminder and it made it fun
for me.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Thirteen one oh six fives our number we don't offer
do it? But have you got savvy? Did you nail
it as a parent just once?
Speaker 9 (24:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (24:03):
Just once?
Speaker 3 (24:03):
One time?
Speaker 1 (24:04):
You can hold it as a badge of honor to
be remembered always.
Speaker 5 (24:07):
This is your chance to brag about it.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Thirty one six for Now with Cory Corey managed to
get the training wheels off Monty's bike.
Speaker 11 (24:20):
Very very at a moment, I'm done, make a little
song to go with it.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
I mean, the world is a great place.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
You missed the pedal song. We want to hear.
Speaker 5 (24:36):
When did you finally get it right with parenting?
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Thirteen one o sixty five Mark and Fernie Grove What happened?
Speaker 14 (24:43):
It's my oldest daughter this year twelve last year which
I've spoken on the show for something. Anyway, she straight
a's three ductors and hardly did a tried it all
so easy, Yeah, but she focused and she exactly what
she want to do, a zoo keeper. She just knuckled down.
She got ductor tape course three ductors and just nailed
(25:07):
it straight as Yeah, it's done. During study a bit
ahead of the class. I'm getting cold in the head. Yeah,
that's all good.
Speaker 9 (25:17):
I got this well done.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Dream have a brag. Sounds like she did everything yourself though, Mark,
we're all good for It's still good. Now there's riots
in in l A. It just looks like an absolute
nightmare there at the moment. This is that Donald Trump
(25:44):
has enrolled the National Guard, which basically means there's soldiers
on the streets. There's two thousands soldiers on the streets
of l A. This is all about the degradation immigration
issue over there, because if you've ever been like it is,
it is absolutely filled with people from from South America
and from from Mexico and stuff like that, and so
(26:05):
kind of makes the place, you know, go around like
you can't imagine it without.
Speaker 8 (26:09):
But pretty serious, right, pretty full on.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
The La riots.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
I mean we had somewhat twenty years ago around racial issues.
I mean people die, there's looting. It's scary stuff, yes.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
And it's particularly scary for a Australian journal Laurence to Massey,
who is the she's the international reporter for Channel nine.
And if you haven't seen the footage of her, she
was covering the riot and she got shot by a
rubber bullet after hours.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
Of standing off.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
This situation has now rapidly deteriorated.
Speaker 5 (26:45):
The LAPD moving it on horseback, firing rubber bullets.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
And protesters moving them on through the heart of La.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
Shot from there.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
Yeah, so that was a protester standing behind her. We
had to be but because they swore. But it was
like a uoka and then that protesters started yelling at
the police, saying you've just shot a reporter.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
She's pretty obviously a reporter too. She's holding a microphone,
a big Channel nine things, she's got a cameraman or
a big camera. It's not like she's a TikToker. Like
it's obvious that that she's a reporter.
Speaker 11 (27:24):
I was watching like little clips yesterday this of this.
I'm not the one where she got hit.
Speaker 8 (27:30):
While I'm watching, I'm like, why are you standing there?
Speaker 9 (27:34):
I'm just like, like why.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Like, because it's all about the vision, It's about putting
yourself in the middle of it. Every time we have
any major weather event in this country, how many times
do we see reporters like potentially who could be blown
off in a hurrican cycle.
Speaker 11 (27:50):
It's like, over here, I feel like, you know, you know,
you're not probably going to get hit by a bullet
or or you know, like a rubber bullet or whatever.
But over there, the rules are different. And I really
hope she's okay because I feel so sorry for it.
Why does she feel she needs to be standing in
the middle of a riot where there's bullets, Like because
I was watching and there were people running past her
(28:11):
like protest, is what I'm like.
Speaker 9 (28:13):
That did still scare the crap out of me.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
I understand at having the dodge rubber bullets. I understand
that she kind of did put herself in harms way Cory,
But the footage you actually see the cop he looks
like he's aiming at her in the background. It was
incredible that the cameraman quarter it. But he looks like
he's facing out there. He turns at like thirty degrees
right in her direction and she fires the shot. It's
like he was trying to hit it.
Speaker 8 (28:35):
That's bad.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
It looks he did.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
I mean, that's exactly what happened. He aimed, he lined
her up and he shot. And now when you see
them pull out, you'll see that there were protesters all
around her, Like she is right in the thick of
what is going on.
Speaker 11 (28:50):
Is that what they have to do now, like stick
to themselves in serious danger?
Speaker 9 (28:54):
Like I really feel sorry.
Speaker 11 (28:55):
I really hope she's okay, because that that stuff can
do some damage.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
Look, there's an ethical question, and I reckon if any
of those reporters who choose to put themselves into harm's
way like that, that is their choice. I mean, yes,
you can argue that it's all about the vision. But
if any network we're ever responsible for someone being forced
into that situation, I guess there would be some things
to pay. But I mean, look, it's the difference between
America and Australia. I mean I can imagine if we
(29:20):
did that here.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
Yeah, Oh, there'd be a right about that. The only
reason there would be a right would be that a
BBC journalist has also been shot. There's two journals now
near them from America that have been hit with those
rubber bullets. So they're obviously firing pretty loosely.
Speaker 9 (29:38):
But that's it's a serious protest.
Speaker 8 (29:40):
Look at that there, it's pretty it's chaos.
Speaker 9 (29:43):
Sure, there's got to be a safer way you can
report that.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
Interestingly enough, federal Parliament is conlling for Albanesi to contact
Trump and protest the fact that one of our journals
has been hurt. It could become an international incident. Could
you imagine Albow trying to talk to Trump about hurting
one of our journeals.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
I reckon, I don't reckon, he's taken that gore. What's
he calling about?
Speaker 8 (30:07):
No? After the election, nicknamed didn't get his name.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
I thought, oh yeah, as something you put on a
source for the hot Dog and you want some albinas
on that.
Speaker 15 (30:25):
Now with Chios the podcast, it's the naughtiest six listener
discretion advised not suitable for work or in the car
with the kid.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
So a zen pick is the number one weight loss drug.
Of course, it started out for people with type two diabetes,
and then it was soon realized that if you take this.
It manages your blood sugar levels, stops you being hungry,
and people have started to try and access it for
weight loss, but there have been a lot of implications
for those taking it, lots of side effects.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
Because it's a jab thing. It's not a pillows that
you have to inject it.
Speaker 5 (31:03):
Don't even know that.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
I'm pretty sure you jab.
Speaker 5 (31:06):
I should have I should have checked that.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
I just assumed it was a tablet like one of
those little blue ya if you stab.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
Yeah, if you're scared of noodles and needles, noodles, noodles,
it's a rough one.
Speaker 5 (31:18):
Funny you should say the old lidle noodle figure.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
What do you think happens to a man's manhood if
he takes as.
Speaker 9 (31:26):
MP The guys are a noodle?
Speaker 2 (31:29):
Does it?
Speaker 3 (31:32):
I'm going to go. I'll go with the fun option.
Let's say it increased.
Speaker 9 (31:37):
No way, it's gotta go down. If everything else is,
that's got to go.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
If you're losing weight, losing weight everywhere one.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
Of you is correct, Yes, and it is Kip White, Yes, Yes,
penis increases.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
Look it comes up.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
Data that was taken in twenty two twenty four The
average size of a British penis has increased by zero
point four six inches.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Okay, half an inch, Yeah, that's a si.
Speaker 5 (32:03):
So from this is interesting.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
A male British penis is five point one seven inches
and he's increase to five point.
Speaker 3 (32:11):
Sixty three thanks to ozampic.
Speaker 5 (32:13):
Thanks to ozempic. However, let's wonder. Let me tell you
about the Venezuelans.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
How are they going?
Speaker 5 (32:19):
I don't know what it is with.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Venezuela saw the greatest growth in penis size over a
two year period for men on a zempic. It increased
by one point four to two inches.
Speaker 8 (32:30):
Come on, so they're not one.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
Point four two inches reaching cimeters six point six seven inches?
Speaker 14 (32:38):
Wow?
Speaker 8 (32:39):
So their sales are all male?
Speaker 9 (32:41):
Then?
Speaker 14 (32:41):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Yes, so this is this is research done by the
Diabetes dot co dot uk. So these people are official
when it comes to diabetes and they need to understand them.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
No one's telling you. So here's the thing about azempic.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Men's penises shorten as they get older due to increased
body fat and increasing prostate size, drawing the penis.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
Back into the body.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
Yes, as a man loses weight, their penises appear larger, yes,
but actually they are also not retracting, right, So it's.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
Not just the looks, it's actually getting bigger.
Speaker 5 (33:22):
It's little fellas coming out and said.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
H.
Speaker 3 (33:28):
That is interesting though. If you if you're on the cusp,
if you're thinking I can do it, the needles and
your penises are going to get bigger, all right, sign
you up.
Speaker 8 (33:37):
That is a win.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
They have no research on whether it performs better or
whether you think so.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
If you're controlling your blood sugar level, maybe not as excitable.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
Maybe, but if you've lost weight and you're feeling good
about it.
Speaker 6 (33:55):
You're.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
The other last thing to be well, Examba has become
popular the long term effects of taking the drug, particularly
on muscle loss.
Speaker 13 (34:11):
Muscle loss right, isn't isn't that's a little fella mus
I don't know what it is muscular, so it remains unclear. Okay,
so maybe it gets bigger for a little bit, and
then over time.
Speaker 9 (34:24):
All these things I can fix that.
Speaker 5 (34:26):
Well, that's called VIAGRAA and that is a tablet.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Yes, that is definitely a tablet. And again that started
off with something else, viagra that was for like the heart,
blood flow.
Speaker 9 (34:36):
Or whatever else.
Speaker 8 (34:37):
It definitely does that.
Speaker 3 (34:37):
And then and then people people were going back to
the doctor going, yeah, my heart's been right, but I've
also had a bone.
Speaker 8 (34:44):
You're the blood fly.
Speaker 5 (34:45):
Well, okay, have we finished? Was six forty has now great.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
Welcome back kids,
