Speaker 1 (00:00):
Here a kiss, kiss and Jackie O dry spell magic.
So we met these girl Nikki, she's thirty nine. She's
called us up. A little bit of a dry spell
happening over at her place. Her partner of three years, Renee.
They haven't had sex in eight months. Starting to be
a big concerning for NICKI. Let's get Nikki on. Hi, Nikki,

(00:22):
Good morning, Nikki.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
How are you going?

Speaker 4 (00:25):
We're good, honey.

Speaker 5 (00:27):
Three years isn't even that long the relationship to have
suddenly a dry spell?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
It's live in world?

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Is that?

Speaker 5 (00:34):
I wondered, like, what what started her? Do you remember
why or can you pinpoint anything?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
It was Valentine's Day this year that she went to
a work Christmas oh not Christmas party, Valentine's Day party. Yeah,
and I think she might have hooked up with a guy.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
So were you were you not there or you were?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
No? I worked for different companies, so we're both in
the same sector, but we both went different companies.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
And what makes you think she hooked up with a guy.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Because usually we're pretty intimate. We've been intimate two three times.

Speaker 6 (01:08):
A week and before that.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah, So I'm just wondering what's going on?

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So I mean, have you have you said, hey, I've
noticed that since that party things have gone Hey, why
has any discussion or.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I've tried, but usually she just doesn't want to talk
about it and she just goes off to her room
because we sleep in separate beds now, but now that
that is that.

Speaker 7 (01:30):
A new thing, the separate bedrooms.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Separate bedroom. Yes, so when it all eventuated, yes, so
Valentine's Day this year that.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
That said it happened then like, yeah, wow, things happened, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Happened, Yeah, I think And does.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
She act strangely? Like with the phone? Do you think
it's still going on or do you think.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
It was just I'm not quite sure. She is a
bit yeah with her phone, she's always on it, but
I'm not quite sure. Her mum is sick as well,
so I'm not sure. I'm quite sure if it's a
mum or if it's Ben.

Speaker 7 (02:02):
He says, Ben, who this this guy? You know? The
bloke you think it is?

Speaker 2 (02:09):
I don't know. I don't know him. I know of him.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
Is you seem to know more than what you're telling us?
Because to no, not really, Well what makes you think
it's Ben?

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Because they posted a picture together online and they looked
a bit chummy.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Right, and this was at the party or after at
the party?

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Yeah? Okay?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
And is he but everyone at the Christmas party there's
people taking photo like you are chummy.

Speaker 7 (02:36):
But this doesn't mean because it's not a lot.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
But you know, when you know there's a change in
the relationship and you're feeling that tension at home, you
start putting patterns together. Often we are wrong, completely wrong.

Speaker 6 (02:48):
Yeah, I'm wrong.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Maybe we'll ring her up next, we'll take a little break,
we'll bring it back, and we'll try and get to
the bottom.

Speaker 7 (02:55):
Of this mess.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
That sounds cool.

Speaker 7 (02:57):
You want to be together, right, you don't want it
to end? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
No, I don't want to No, no, I can't watch
three years.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
Okay, okay, let's see if we can't get to the
bottom of it.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Nikki, all right, all.

Speaker 7 (03:08):
Right, Brooklyn, I don't know being gay.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
You can you throw any extra insights in here, because
you know, I don't know. I don't know what goes
on in the gay world.

Speaker 8 (03:16):
Well, yeah I do. All I know is lesbians. I've
heard they'll be lesbian for a while and then they
will go back like that.

Speaker 9 (03:24):
Does happen a lot?

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Right?

Speaker 4 (03:25):
I need to and front with men. Does it like
you're gay? You're not just suddenly going back?

Speaker 9 (03:30):
Yeah, if you're fully why, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
You guys are really missing out on some beautiful stuff,
you know what I'm saying, Nicky Right, the woman's body
is something.

Speaker 7 (03:41):
That should just make bow down to, bowed down to.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yeah, of course they start stacking on the key loads
and then you've do the right thing.

Speaker 7 (03:49):
Let them all.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
No, it's no good, Okay with Nikki stand by, We'll
get your gorgeous girl, Renee.

Speaker 7 (03:55):
We'll get around.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
We'll see if we can fix this little dry spell.
Up next at Kiss.

Speaker 7 (04:00):
Kyle and Jackie Oh's race Bell.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Which trying to reconnect. Kyle is broadcasting from home. We'll
do that in a second. So, Brooklyn, we've got Nicki here,
who obviously wanted to find out from her partner of
three years. She's in a relationship with Renee and the
last eight months they have not had sex. And it
all happened one night when her girlfriend went off to

(04:25):
a Valentine's Day work party and then Boom comes home.
They start sleeping in separate bedrooms and they just don't
have sex again.

Speaker 8 (04:33):
And there was a photo of her looking chummy with
a guy at this work.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
Function, right, And in Nikki's head, she's sort of like
connecting all these dots and over analyzing everything, and she
has assumed that her girlfriend has hooked up with a
guy and is possibly still seeing him.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
She's just not sure.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
But these are all her thoughts and she wants to
get them out on the table this morning.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
So NICKI ready to talk to your girlfriend, Renee. We
do have her up.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Ready to go, okay, yep, all good, All right.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Let's shoot her over.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
Guys, Renee. Hi, it's h Kyle and Jackie O. Kyle's
not here right now. He will be joining us in
a second. But you're on a segment called dry Spell, Renee,
and we have your beautiful girlfriend Nikki here.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Who wanted to talk to you. Okay, you sound yeah,
you sound cautious rightly.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
So no, I'm a little bit peed off right now.
Like what I don't know what it's about.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
You know what it's about?

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Now that like you've just said dry spell? Hell yeah,
like great, Okay, I'm going to sound like the biggest
bitch in the world.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
Well not necessarily, like you know, these things happen, I
guess NICKI would be keen to hear why what's happening?

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Oh, Nikki does know. Niki knows a lot, but Nikki
doesn't seem to get it through her head. And she
does this all the time, and she gets our friends involved,
and it's just she's freaking pushing and pushing and pushing.
And now it's like.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
It's too much.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Like she's just pushed me into a freaking corner and
I'm going through like the worst time of my life
right now, and she's like putting all this pressure on me.

Speaker 9 (06:25):
Can you tell us anything about what it is that
Nicky knows.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
That I'm going through.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
Yeah, yeah, because yeah, it sounded like it started on
Valentine's Day at a work party.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Oh okay, So look, my mum has been diagnosed as
stage four ovarian cancer. And last year she had an
operation they took most of it out. They couldn't get
all of it out. This year it's come back. So
I've had to come back home to my like small

(07:00):
countrytown because I've got a disabled sister twenty four to
seven care and like I'm helping out. So that's like
stress number one. And like we've been together, you know,
for a few years and stuff, and it was going
great at first, and then like all this pressure just
started and she was like pushing me into a corner,
and like it started becoming not fun anymore, Like sex

(07:23):
become like a routine, like are we going to have sex?
It wasn't spontaneous anymore. It was just like, you know,
we had to talk about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but
it was like more like, you know, she was very
controlling and she started getting so jealous. And then Valentine's Day,
like I work in disability and we had a Christmas

(07:45):
party and you know, we had a group photo and
someone was like, you know, very happy to be touching me.
And she made a point of it, like she zoomed
in that far to like have a look, that's how
far she goes.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
Well, is that that fact doing a lot of zoom
you know here?

Speaker 9 (08:09):
But you didn't hook up with this guy renee.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Renee babe?

Speaker 6 (08:18):
Oh oh look that I at the time, at that
at that Valentine's Day.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
No, I did not hook up him with him. Then
when did you have with the weekend when we had
a massive fight over everything and you were accusing me
of sleeping with him. You were accusing me of everything.
And then I went out to the pub with some

(08:49):
friends and and Ben was then, and Ben was there
and we all went on me.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yes, okay, but I've been trying.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
I have been trying to gently tell you I don't
I can't be with you anymore.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Are you serious?

Speaker 3 (09:23):
We have had this discussion so many times, like seriously,
and you wanted to bring it up now, like out
of all the times in the world. Are you serious?

Speaker 2 (09:37):
I'm speechless, babe.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
I've tried to like have this conversation with you for
like six months now, and you just you don't have
a bar of it. You just you cry, and then
we go back in that same merry go round because
I have to take care of you.

Speaker 9 (10:00):
Why haven't you moved out yet?

Speaker 7 (10:01):
Renee?

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Well there's you still together?

Speaker 9 (10:07):
Like yeah, are you guys?

Speaker 5 (10:08):
Well not right now, they've just broken up, But before
this call, you were together, right.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Yeah, yeah, And like I've been trying to find a
way to break up with her, but every time I
try to, like, you know, I'm not saying, she pulls
a sad card, but the sad card comes out and
then like out and then you know, the depression and everything,
and then I'm like shit, okay, wrong time, stop, take

(10:37):
care of her.

Speaker 5 (10:37):
Can I ask after that one night thing with Ben,
did it continue after that?

Speaker 3 (10:44):
No? It was. It was just a one night thing
and we pretty much stopped. He's got a girlfriend now,
he's overseen, he's traveling, so it was it was honestly
just a one night things.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
There been anyone else.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
There hasn't been anyone else, but like I am talking
to like other people like friendly, like my friend like
friendship wise, but where it's like to take the pressure
off me right now, like with my mom and my
sister and everything else in life, and I just I

(11:20):
can't be pressured.

Speaker 7 (11:23):
M nick.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Wow. Yeah, I'm like, I'm I'm sorry that I had
to come out like this, but holy crap, you I
didn't expect it like.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
This, Nikki. Were you expect you weren't? No, I was not, Like,
what did you hope was? What did you hope was
going to happen with this call that.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Was just going through just like a dry spell and
everything was going to be okay. But now that I've
found out she's cheated on me.

Speaker 6 (11:57):
That's that's it.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
That the big yeah, no no, in the relationship. Obviously,
I am sorry like, no, sorry's not going to cut it.
Yeah I know that, but like, seriously, we could have.
I don't want to. Yeah I'm done.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Yeah yeah, okay, good to go back, do that. I will. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
I don't like it ending like this. Three years you
girls have been together.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Yeah, yeah, well that's what happens when she pushes.

Speaker 9 (12:31):
Are you the couple that fight a lot? Or is
this is fighting?

Speaker 3 (12:36):
But yeah, she fights. We do fight because she's a
very jealous, controlling person.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Let it all out, babe, let it all out.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Wow, you wanted to do this, so let's do this,
like you know, you want to tell them what you're
really alive? And fine, that's why we always fight. Yeah,
because I'm coming home late and all this crap.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
And it's just like she she was.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
She was obviously paranoid about something, but then she also
had a right to be because something was happening.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Oh yeah yeah, like she knew.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
She had that gut feeling and she thought, am I
going crazy? Am I imagining this?

Speaker 7 (13:24):
Sorry? Guys, I've just come back from a monster. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Renee then did cheat on her with Ben, but not
the night she thought it happened.

Speaker 7 (13:38):
What do you mean cheat?

Speaker 5 (13:39):
She slept with Ben and then now she's just dumped
her because she said, you're too paranoid and jealous and
I can't handle and I've been trying to break up
with you anyway.

Speaker 7 (13:51):
Oh shit, I did miss.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Kyle? Hiu is nikky Nikki?

Speaker 7 (14:01):
Sorry? Is Rene's here?

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Yeah, I'm still here.

Speaker 7 (14:05):
Oh you don't sound very impressed.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
She wasn't She wasn't happy.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
No, no, I wasn't because she could have done this
outside of like you know.

Speaker 7 (14:15):
What what what fun? What fund?

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Is that for the rest of us? But geez, okay,
so what you can't You guys can't get through this.

Speaker 7 (14:23):
You gotta doesn't know.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
No, I'm done, like seriously, like after this, No, that's it,
like especially after what she knows that I'm going through,
like seriously, and she calls me at a time like this, she.

Speaker 7 (14:38):
Yeah, it's a lot of rough things going on. I
get it. And what you that local work?

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Or is that just one with his girlfriend?

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Now?

Speaker 7 (14:47):
So he was cheating as well? Well?

Speaker 5 (14:49):
No, I think he got a girlfriend just after Yeah,
like yeah.

Speaker 7 (14:56):
Oh, well, I'm sorry I missed it. Listen to the podcast.

Speaker 3 (14:59):

open and they're all looking shocked, and I thought, oh, bro,
it's half out.

Speaker 7 (15:17):
I don't know what.

Speaker 1 (15:17):

to move out while the others at work today? What's
going to happen?

at the moment, Like I can't.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Even Yeah, you've got you've got to prioritize, Yeah, you've
got you gotta mean, like.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
My only comes first. So I'm not even worried about
that at the moment.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
I know it's selfish, but no, that's not selfish, and
I think that's the right thing to do.

Speaker 9 (15:54):
Yes, it's.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Best of luck for everyone. If you guys need any help, therapy,
you need anyone, you know, any extra hand for anything,
because it's a bit of a should go with this
whole thing. But you're both decent people. Everyone makes mistakes,
everyone goes through bad and good times. So if you
need it with anything, let us know. We're happy to
smooth out any of these rough hedges. But the relationships done.

Speaker 6 (16:20):

I didn't even have to rethink it in my mind
how to say it, because.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
That's an easy mistake, all right, but.

Speaker 7 (16:43):
I missed it. I knew what shouldn't have gone for? Pooh.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Then you know, when you think it's just it's going
to be a crocodile like gone wrong, it's always the chimpanzee.

Speaker 7 (16:53):
When you don't want the chimpanzee. You know what I'm saying, Jackie,
I don't.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
