Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
We were just talking about this a little bit earlier,
and that was that there is a woman who had
been going on a few days. She'd met this guy.
Everything was seemingly amazing, and then things started to feel
a little bit wrong. There were some red flags. And
now it wasn't her who discovered the truth behind his identity.
It was her mother who had done a very big

(00:21):
deep dive into a background check on him. She found
out that he was married, that he had a dog
that he didn't say that he had, that he had kids,
he had a whole separate life that he was lying
about when he matched with this girl on bubble.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
I love that we make it sound like the dog.
Having the dog is like the biggest thing. He had
a dog he had not told her about. I think
he's the wife that really hit home.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
But that's where I draw the line, the dog. Then
we realized, we did some digging that services exist that
allow you to get background checks done on potential partners,
like there's websites. Spouse spy is one that we found. Yes,
we actually have joining us now on the line. Anthony
may Or may not be his real name. He's a
full time private investigator works for spouse spy.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Welcome to the pickup, Anthony.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
Hey, guys, how are you doing? Hi?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Am I mean we're good now, Okay, my question is here.
Obviously we could get our moms to do the background
checks for us, but who is hiring a private investigator?

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Well, all sorts of people come to us, all sorts
of people for all types of matters. We do do
a lot of background searches. So do a lot of
background checks, and this is something we actually do daily
for all types of reasons. A lot of them are
along the lines of partners wanted to find out either
about potential partners what they've been up to, or even

(01:33):
their current partners, our husband's wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, that sort
of things. And we do a lot of that and
we find out a lot of stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
What Anthony was probably like the craziest thing you found out.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Look, a lot of the stuff that we do with
the background searches, a lot of it also involves surveillance.
So what we might find out, we might get some
ideas from what we find with background searches, and then
we might go and do surveillance and actually follow the
person just to try and prove that point. A lot
of the things that we tend to find out when
we run some of the database searchers would include things like,

(02:06):
for example, a couple that aren't residing together that the
guy says he lives on his own, but he travels
a lot.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
So is it a lot of cheating? Is that what
we're seeing?

Speaker 5 (02:17):
We do see a lot of cheating. Yes, yes, we
see a lot of that. A lot of other relationships,
got it.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Right, okay?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
People living separate lives.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Well, I want to know, is there like one service
that you can run someone's name through that the general
public don't have access to? Like you are operating on
the dark Web or are you just searching Instagram linked
in Facebook like the rest of us.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
We do all of it, but we also have access
to databases that the general public do not. These a
professional databases that we pay a lot of money for
and these databases provide a lot of different sort of information.
We also do the social media inquiries, which a lot
of people tend to do that for themselves. That we
can dive a little bit deep than what most people

(03:01):
can as long as as long as the profiles active
and open. But there are little tricks that get us
in some back doors someday which we won't reveal, but
there is a lot of information to be discovered via
open source intelligence gathering.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Anthony, does it sound I mean, I get that a
lot of your work is cheating in long term relationships,
but is anyone coming to you off the bat, like
before I meet this guy, can you run this name?
Like I haven't even gone on a date with him yet,
I've just pulled his name off the website.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Questionable because there's a lot of dog fur around what's.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
The deal exactly? And that's what I said before. A
lot of people wanting to get into relationships that just
want to make a few inquiries before they take that
next step.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
So yeah, absolutely, So if you were to put Brittany Hockley,
Mitch Cherry, Laura Burn through that special magic database, would
you be able to get info on us?

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Or have you? Or can you love?

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Well? Funny funny you asked that, nich because before coming
on air today, your producer did actually have us conduct
the background search at all three of you.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Actually, Oh shit, I'm gonna have to resign, aren't I know?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
You don't need to resign, You'll be fine, It's fine.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Yeah, Well, look, we did. We did find a lot
of information out and a lot of it. Well look
for your privacy and protection, we won't disguise that on air.
But what I will say is one of the things
that was adventures. I won't tell you who, but one
of you has had plastic surgery.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
No, not me, I know it's not me. Well look
at me. It's not me.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
Are you one hundred potent one of your lying? Because the.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
One of the girls, it's got to be one of
you girls, I reckon, it's you. Miss. No, it's not guys,
it's not mad. I've never had plastic surgery.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Although Laura, your skin and face do look tined.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
I had a facelift.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Thanks, guys, Yeah, that's exactly what happened.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Who actually not.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Talking about the facelift? Mits it to you? What you
little liar?

Speaker 3 (04:51):
What did you do? Anthony? You're playing? What do you mean?
I don't ever had plastic surgery?

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Mitch you you had surgery. You had plastic surgery when
you were very young on your fe.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Mime it, yeah I did. Now you did?

Speaker 5 (05:05):
Kid?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
No, no no. Because I wanted to be an actor
and this was so embarrassing.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
I was hit in the head with a pool noodle
when I was in the swimming pool as a kid.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Noodle. Yeah, the edges were cauterized.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
You know how they burned the edges of pool noodle,
So they do so it's hard. And I was hit
in the head with it playing and it split my
head open, and my mum went, Mitch is going to
be an actor. So I had to fly to get
plastic surgery done and I got constructive facial surgery done.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Okay, at the same time, I'm so confused.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Is there? Yeah, he wanted to be an actor, but
he ended up with a head for radio.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Yeah, comedian as well. And that's so interesting. Wow, well
thanks for outing me, Anthony. I'll be suing you and
oh your family.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
I'll probably have to look you up later.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Thanks for You can.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Get him on spouse spy if you're worried about someone
you're dating.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
