Spicy Which one we have? The one that I used
to play? When you know, all kids used to dress
up as a spot girls. Every friend group had a
Spice Girl. I was Sporty Spies, and we have Sporty
Spies on the line.

We have mel c Oh.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
My gosh, he's going to be so jealous. Marley is
obsessed my daughter?

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Is she?

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Okay?

I love that because there was a part of you
that at one point there were the biggest band, right,
there's part of you that thinks that has faded out
or grown out.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
But I love that. Like a six year old knows
who the Spice Girls.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
I don't know. It kind of feels like when I
was in primary school and I heard the Beatles and
I was like, they're pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Maybe yeah, so maybe the Spice Girls lives on?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
So what is Sporty Spies got to say?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
For some she is actually just the most down to earth.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
She's so nice, she's so humble, she's so normal, just.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Very successful and so fit right now, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
She's so fit. I guess that's she lives up to
her name.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I know, it's like you, does she actually is very
spot being fit? Or is it just like, must keep
going with the.

Name contracted, must be sporty.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
She's actually dating an Australian guy, so she's in Australia
a lot.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
She's got great taste, right eyes.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
But have I listened to this million dollar question? Did
you guys get to pick your names?

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Now, we were named by a magazine, so you must
know to of the pops, it's iconic. Yes, So they
just like published the magazine when we can give us
these silly names, and they just stuck. And actually in
the US they don't know our names. They know, they
kind of know them now, but like back in the day,
it was just all nicknames.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
So you when the Spiers girls took off, you didn't
have the names yet.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Now, it was never meant to be a thing. It
just caught on.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Was anyone dirty? It was Ginger like why why Ginger?

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Like? Yeah, we loved it and we we totally like
played up to it and we became caricatures of it.
And the funny thing is now because you know, obviously
Ginger the color of her hair, right, But you know,
she was firing and she was outspoken and she was loud,
and Victoria was always a bit posher than the rest
of us. But yeah, Melby scoy, I mean, I don't

know if they've met me. Scary, it's scary.

Oh, doesn't she sound lovely? Didn't disappoint She really really didn't.

I was really happy.

You know how, sometimes these people that you've looked up
to for a long time, you hope to God they're
nice people because you don't want to if you don't
want to meet them, and then they're turd Burgerstally.
