Speaker 1 (00:00):
Life is an endless series of train recks with only
brief commercial like breaks of happiness.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
You sound like a legend, hey, lege, Okay, guys, we
have Marley on the phone from Paris. Wait is it Paris?
It's not Paris.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
No, it's not Paris. I am not in Paris. I
am in Marseille the same.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
But your fiance is no, she is not in Paris either.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Just get a just gonna need yeah, just gonna need
you to just understand the assignment there till we are
not in Paris just yet, fingers crossed. Though we will
be in Paris after the next game against the Tillies.
We'll get into the games obviously, but till this is
this is raw and uncut right here, This is you
and me at train rex finest right.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
For everyone listening at home right now. Tilly just has
her phone on the desk with a microphone next to it,
like we couldn't even get that net work while Marley's overseas.
So this is like the most train wreck record this
studio has probably ever seen.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
And I, for one, I'm having a gre absolutely yeah.
This has taken us half an hour to set up.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, and I'm holding my phone up to my mouth
as close as possible to the mic as well. But
this is, guys, this is false advertising at this Airbnb.
I don't know about. You know, these guys getting a
five star review here they advertise this is having fast
Wi Fi.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yeah okay, that's that's very European of them, because I
think they do everything quite slow. So they're slow as like, yeah,
you get me. Okay, well, Marley.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Let's see, let's get into it.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, let's get it. Breaks your fiance, Lynn Williams of
the USA. What do we call it football or soccer?

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Depends where you are, Okay, well let's call us soccer.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Marley's fance is in the Australian I mean the USA soccer. Yeah, okay,
So you're obviously overseas watching her play.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
This is Lynn's second second Olympics. First time was in Tokyo,
but it was COVID. Yeah, it was COVID, so there
was no fans. I obviously wasn't able to be their
family wasn't able to be there. They were in just
like a massive bubble. It almost didn't feel like the Olympics.
And she got her second run this year obviously, and
it's just go Lenny, go girl. It's just it's amazing.

(02:23):
The atmosphere is amazing. We haven't made it into Paris
just yet. We flew straight into Marseille and then went
over to Nice again. It's the south of France, which
is very beautiful as well. But the soccer schedule isn't
it's on a different like it's on different timings than
the rest of the Olympics, and it's always been that way.
So her games are really late here, like nine pm.

(02:45):
It's the timings are all out of whack, especially for
these games. It's so late.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
And so are you watching most of these games? Like
how is it working?

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, go on to every game. So second
game in we just played Germany, I say weere but
obviously the US played Germany yesterday, big game as well,
huge game against them. We got the win for one,
not only that our girls scored as well, so it
was just it was great. Guys. Yeah, it's been crazy.

(03:13):
It's been a crazy ride already, and like I don't
even think I'm a weekend. I don't even know what
day it is.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
So just to clarify, your fiancee scored in the Olympics.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
My fiance scored in the How does.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
It feel to be dating her? To be dating actually
a goalscorer? Does that just her aura? Ten thousand?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yeah? Yeah, that not only yeah, not only is her
aura up from that, But it's the leg sleeve that's
like getting me. She's wearing a legs sleeve at the moment,
which is like basketball swag. You know, at this point,
she's one that you benefits. Exactly, there you go, yes, exactly.
That's why I'm like, this is so fire. But the

(04:01):
games have been crazy. We literally already security is just
so high here, like so so high. And I'm traveling
here with Lind's mum, so I'm taking care of her
while we're out here, just everywhere we go, and like
my one mission is to not lose her because I've
got no phone service. She doesn't really either, but she
can turn hers on if she wants. Yes, I've literally

(04:21):
I'm out in the dark here.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
What what's the vibe like at these games?

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Like?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
How is it tell me everything that you've experienced so far?

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Yeah, it's been Honestly, I don't know. The feeling out
here is just the culture out here is just amazing.
You just really right away immersed in that as soon
as you get to like a game, there's guys chanting
that the first game against Zambia wasn't as crazy again
because we the girls start before the opening ceremonies, so

(04:49):
like the Olympics hasn't like officially taken off.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I guess, okay, yeah, I understand that.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Yeah, so the es.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
But yesterday's game, yeah yeah, not yet. But yesterday's game
against so many of the vibes were super high. I've
got clips and everything that we will post about on
on our socials, on train Wreck the pod of course,
because it's just like we played Germany yesterday and it
was just insane. The people like were going crazy flags.
I think I might have saw a flare somewhere on

(05:16):
the street, but like again, there's cops everywhere. There's literally
police everywhere. I couldn't even last game. I tried to
because I lost Chris Lind's mum and I tried to
get back into the stadium and got stopped by like
four policemen like yelling, and I can see her and
I'm like, yo, I'm just trying to get like my
mother in law, you know, like no, no, no, no, you can't

(05:37):
come back, and you can't come back. I'm like, guys,
am I already getting arrested in France?

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Is it that full on?

Speaker 1 (05:42):
It's full on. It's full on out here, and it's
going to be even tighter out in Paris. I've heard
it's absolutely insane out there from what people are saying.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
That's crazy because I'm on Olympic TikTok and I have
not seen anything about the security.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Really, it has to be high. Already, there's been trains
that have gone into Paris from other places is like
Leon and stuff that have had to literal train wrecks.
Like quite literally, there's been train wrecks because people have
like done stuff to the trains or like lit them
a fire. Yeah, yeah, there's been like every line. The
one we took in.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
And it says that I think this is specifically for
the opening ceremony, but it said that up to forty
five thousand police as well as ten thousand soldiers were
deployed for Olympic security.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Oh wait, wait, this makes sense, Molly. Would this be true?
They literally have police come from other countries?

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Oh yeah, I'm sure, yeah, yeah, probably.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
I feel like I saw something, of course.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
The troops, it's something like this. Yeah, it's honestly, it's
it's crazy, it's great. I'm excited again, fingers crossed. Guys,
we get out of the group, we play against the
Matilda's Necks, and if we come out first, we're gonna
we're gonna be going to Paris. So I keep rolling, man,
let's keep rolling.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
So weird to me that, like Lynn and like the
whole soccer, which is a big sport, can compared to
something like I don't know, the horse racing. But the
fact that that's the.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Question event I would rock that, dude. Would Soccer is.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Way bigger and they're chucked down the south of France.
I'm not impressed.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Well, it's just because till they can't. They don't have
the infrastructure and and the money just to set up
like you know, like because there's so many games going on,
they can't all run out of the same like out
of Phg's stadium in Paris they've got. It's the same
with the basketball. It always happens. They put them where
like there's usually like a stadium there like outside of

(07:40):
the main hub if they can, because there's just so
many teams, so many games going on. So but it's
gonna all end. It all ends in Paris, regardless, So
I'm going to check out it all.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Ends in Paris. I love that that. It's fabulous. Okay.
So speaking of which, then you you weren't there for
the opening ceremony then, but did you watch it?

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Jude? I couldn't. I only got to say, again, my
WiFi is that bad that I can't even watch clips
on Instagram. I did get to see some highlights of it,
and I can't even watch Our TV doesn't have an antenna,
so I can't even watch other events. Say tell me
about it. I know I'm in the depths over here.
Guys out here in Marseille, you know what I mean.
I'm joining the culture forget it, easy life out here.

(08:25):
You don't need TVs and that.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Oh my god. Okay, so you haven't really seen any
of the opening ceremony. Well, all I have to say
it was the most crack thing that I've ever seen.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
I'm so excited to hear your opinion on the sermony,
oh mine, Yeah, okay, well.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Just tell me tell me it was so confusing.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I just there was a smurf on a table.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Let's start with that.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Mali.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
There was a man painted in blue and he was
set in like the Last Supper, like the Last Jesus painting,
and they had all these drag queens and stuff, and
then they had these it was so bad. Then they
had these really shitty dances out on the water that
they looked like they just pulled out from the streets

(09:13):
like it was. It was tragic. I've never seen how
you are hard to impressed. And the French Revolution they
were playing on, and it was very Unless you were
extremely political, you probably wouldn't too much understand. But I
had not much idea what was going on. To me,
it was just ADHD.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Yeah, there was a lot going on. It was totally
like sensory overlap, yes, but I kind of loved it,
like I thought it was like so it was like
avant garde abstract like European art house vibes. But it's
gotten so much slack on the interne copying it. Yeah,
I've seen a lot of that's like, what the hell was.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
That one mall? It's really weird. It's not, it's not.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
I just saw the thumbnail of that TikTok that you
sent through to I thought that was some fair I
didn't think that was real.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
I didn't think it was real either. I was like,
why am I on musical TikTok?

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Yeah, but tell me who had the best Let's talk
about let's talk about the fits. Who had the best outfit?

Speaker 2 (10:20):
All right, well I don't want to know about that. Wait,
who do you think had the best outfit? I liked.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Pants didn't fit anyone. They didn't fit anyone. Lynn was
like Linn was like, these pants just don't fit. And
they were like no, no, no, they're supposed to be baggy.
They meant to be like that. She's like, guys, I
had baggy pants like this and these ones just absolutely
don't fit whatever those jeans were that she was wearing.
But the blazer was cooled.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
I thought, yeah, I thought hot as that team looked
like the USA girl's soccer team looked insanely good. Those
like the striped what are they called strike button up
shirts and like the laser I thought they were so classy,
and to me, it was really like giving Olympics, like
where at the top where classy? We worked for this

(11:09):
business women in Yeah it was. It was so good,
but it was getting quite a lot of backlash online.
People didn't really love the U.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
It was giving horse riding. I think, yeah, okay, it
was giving horse riding.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
But it was also yeah, but it was also giving
like girls sports power.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
I don't know, No, it was it was I agree.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
I agree they did any injustice to it.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
No, No, I thought it was really cool and classy.
I agree, And it just it's sad that they couldn't.
They never can. They never go to the opening ceremony,
but they obviously can be at the closing ceremony. And
they just walked around like their little area at their
hotel and took photos as their opening ceremony and those outfits.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Speaking of the uniforms, have you seen the Australian girls
skirt things?

Speaker 1 (11:52):
I did? I did. Now tell me, tell me what's
your what's your take on those till it's actually.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
They are not kind of like in any way. I
saw somebody redesign like I saw someone redesign the girls
Australian Olympic thing, and they said, we have so many
incredible small designers in Australia and we let Sportscraft design
this autrocity.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
It's discussingrocity.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Wow, it's actually sinful to let them walk it looks
like it.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Oh my god, it did look like a netble, a
netble outfit. That's what I felt when I saw the TikTok. Yeah,
like a very old fashioned netble outfit.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Yeah, it's embarrassing. But anyway, so speaking of the Olympic, TikTok,
Lynn obviously is not in the Olympic village, which is
very disappointing.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Well, yeah, so let's let's track back to Tokyo again.
She got to check it. Let me talk to you
about because I you do, have you heard?

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah, yeah, she ran through the after they won bronze lasts,
they got to go through the village, and she said
it was a bit. It was a big chaotic. Usually
they have, like especially for track athletes and everything. If
they're in there, they sometimes just have one event. If
you don't when you're out, you know what I mean,
you're leaving. But I believe the night before they're leaving

(13:16):
they could probably turn up a little bit, you know
what I mean. So it's a little it can get
a little chaotic in there, but for the most part,
they're very strict on making them leave as soon as
they're done with their event. I've also I don't think
she got to go into any rooms. But I have
heard the beds. The beds are very uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
I have heard cardboard beds. Okay, so Lynn has not
laid on one of the cardbod beds. Watch your opinion
on the cardboard beds, because it's interesting to me that
this event would make so much money and they just
give them these carbo beds.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
I'm guessing.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah, I'm guessing it's to promote sustainability. But what is it?

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Yeah, I guess, well, I think it's the same. It's
like an efficiency thing because there's just so many athletes.
It's almost like you're staying at like school camp though.
That's and that's another reason why. Yeah, it is. It's
literally it's Olympic school camp. And that's another reason why
they have all the girls, you know, essentially stay in
their own hotel, like the soccer girls stay in their
own hotel. The basketball guys last year in Tokyo, the guys,

(14:15):
the basketball guys and well just the like soccer and
basketball athletes. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, they usually always.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Why do they do that? They don't them banging?

Speaker 1 (14:24):
No, I wouldn't say. I wouldn't say. That's why it tell.
I think just because they can. They have the resources
to have separate like places, you know, and their events
are at different places. So yeah, I wouldn't. I wouldn't.
I wouldn't say that, But yeah, I think I think
it's a bit. I can't really wrap my head around
how they can have all this money and everything and
not at least give you, like a more comfortable bed

(14:47):
in that village. But I think the food's good at
least that's the most important. Really.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
The fact that the beds are also single beds is wild.
But yeah, speaking of the food, I have been on
the food TikTok and it's actually no, it's kind of
crazy because all these Olympians, who are like the peak
of like human form are literally eating like croissants, crapes,
chocolate players right before the Olympics. And I'm like, what

(15:13):
are you not meant to be eating like health?

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Yeah, well, well they would be as well, but it's
all about balance.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Man.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
You'll go crazy if you're not you know what I mean,
if you're just eating a green salad every single day
because you need those other things, those those like other
fats and things that you get from those foods, like
a good fore you too. You know what I mean?
These athletes. Yeah, from the the carbs that you get.
I actually haven't had a croissant out here yet.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
That's criminal.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
May yeah, I know, come on, I know, guys, I'll
get one.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Okay, Wait, Mally, I want to ask you. You've been
going to the Games. I saw an Australian girl, Tillie
Can's post a TikTok and she said that her parents
and her family would have had to pay like a
thousand euros per ticket for a seat at the what
is it the what's that water sport where they throw balls?

(16:05):
That one. But judging from your reaction, you obviously didn't
pay that.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Yeah, we get we We fortunately don't have to fork
out any money for those We get tickets through Lyn Okay.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
So the USA team kindly gives those girls tickets. The
Australian Yeah, but.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
For this she had to pay no, no, but does
she know someone that plays water polo.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
This girl is in the Olympics And she said, my
parents and my family will have to pay a thousand
euros per ticket. She's in the Olympic. Yes, yeah, yes,
and they would have to pay a thousand Yes.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Correct, that's cap bro.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Yes, so I'm saying I don't think Australia gives them
money for tickets, but you obviously can't.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
You have to though, Yeah, that's that's absolutely insane. I'm
not sure about other sports. Yeah, I don't know about like,
I mean, it must be true. I guess it's true,
but like, yeah, no, we definitely have tickets sorted for us,
but outside of that, it's only two tickets for us
that they're very tired of tickets really, so maybe that
is why. Yeah, they might have had to pay. I'm
not sure. That's that's interesting to me that she plays

(17:16):
the sport and can't get like at least two tickets
for her parents. Yeah, but it doesn't surprise me that
it's expensive.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yeah, but that's what I was going to say, because
how this is really ridiculous to charge one thousand dollars
per seat, but then to have empty stadiums at some
of these events, Like, I just don't really understand it.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
I know, I agree, I agree with you. It was
very empty our first game too, and I was like
the Olympics, you know what I mean. Yeah, but I
guess you know, it's tough unless it's France playing or competing.
It's kind of like other other countries. I don't know,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Yeah, you're right, that's a good point to bring up,
all right, So making of the games, does Linn have
any like pregame rituals or anything fancy she does before
she plays in the literal Olympics? What does you should
prepare for a game?

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I'll tell you. I'll tell you what one does to
prepare for not only the Olympics, but playing against the
top tier I think, top five team in the nation.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
In the world nation Germany, Germany.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Germany and scoring a goal against them. She makes sure
that she eats pancakes in the morning every morning. That's
our game day routine is eat pancakes. She's been doing
that for.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Years, just like a or like a protein.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
It depends where she's at. Yeah, yeah, she can mix.
Usually not it's usually the worst form of pancake that
you could have, just the most sugar in it, you know,
maple syrup, you name it. Just load herself up with
sugars and carbs and just pancakes. You know. She does that.
She does that every morning on a game day. Yeah,
every morning on.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
A game that I expect it not at all.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
And yeah, no, no, no, yeah, it is a little, it
is a little. Well, it's it's not really that different.
Like again, guys, these guys are burning that that many
calories that you just eat whatever, like you see AFL
guys after games, like they're just smashing pizzas and stuff
like it's good. It's still good carbs, you know, like
you just got to eat as much as you can,
like of whatever you can. But she also has she

(19:25):
writes on her wrist and she actually writes tour on
her wrist as well, till every game, every single game.
Yeah yeah, yeah since yeah, since twenty sixteen, every single game.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
This thing ever, what with a permanent marker?

Speaker 1 (19:39):
With a permanent marker? Yep, yep yeah, And is she
super sis So I would say.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
That, yeah, like is this like a thing?

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Yeah yeah, I would guess, I would guess. I mean
she does it every game like since twenty sixteen ish,
so yeah, like it wouldn't it wouldn't absolutely throw off
her game if she wasn't able to find a permanent
marker before it. Yea, but every single game, every single game,
she does that. But the other like in terms of
just the other girls in the team, like they they

(20:07):
do a lot of like meditation now at the moment,
and they do like a pregame prayer as well, which
is kind of like meditation for me.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Is it like to God or just like to the
like tooever it is?

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Yeah, whoever they believe in. Yeah, I think it's a
bit of both. I think it's a bit of both.
Like some that obviously believe or are religious, it could
be to a god and others might use it as
just a calming, meditative state type of preparation. But another
huge thing. But before games, Lynn also takes Ebsen salt
baths just for a leg Yeah, so it gets the

(20:40):
sults in Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Any particular brain like a legit one. Did she have
to bring something?

Speaker 1 (20:47):
No? No, no, I think just any type any form,
any form of saults.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Okay, wait, while it's on my mind as well, just quickly,
what's your situation as you're engaged to somebody that's in
the Olympic and you're there watching her, what's the situation
in terms of seeing her? Like, how what what are
they allowing the athletes to do? Can they get out?
Can she see you? What's happening?

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Yeah? It's it's usually dependent on what tournament you're at
and what's going on. Here, it's been pretty laid back.
We've been able to see each other quite a bit,
like throughout the day. It's just I've just got to
kind of coordinate with her schedule, you know what I mean,
because they've got meetings every couple hours and practice and
this and film. So yeah, we get we get a

(21:32):
couple hours at different points throughout the day and I've
just been kicking back. We've we've actually been seeing each
other a lot, compared to some other places.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
In Australia barely saw yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Yeah, not so much over there. It was very because
the World Cup is really tight. They had like the
i know, like they had like the Secret Service like
following them around there. It's like pull on. Yeah, yeah.
Here they've obviously got high high security.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Yeah. Yeah, we've been able to see each other and
like buy about. She's very laid back, which is which
has been good. Like this Olympics, she's been super super
laid back. Yeah, and just sticking to her sticking to
a you know, locking in and her mindset and her
rituals until we should we should try some of these rituals.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
You should, Yeah, we should definitely do them.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
It's so interesting hearing about these humans who are literally
at the peak of like human physical form and all
the like unique rituals that all of them would have
for their game days and like their pregame meals and
like whatever little rituals they would.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Have, like pancakes, pancakesmen. Well it Grace brought something funny up,
and she was like sitting and watching the Olympics, like
watching from your TV with a bowl of popcorn and
some chocolate, and you're sitting there scrutinizing these athletes.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Like yelling at the tea jumpire, jump high, and you're.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Literally yeah, but till you should try these rituals out
like they ah, Like, obviously there's a lot more that
goes into this than just eating pancakes pre game, you
know what I mean that Linn does every single day.
There's obviously so much that goes into a training and
a whole regime. But you should try these out. This
might change you, This might change your athletic ability.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
You know, Honestly, I just don't think it sounds that hard,
Like I'm a bit shocked by what you're saying I
thought it was going to be I thought it was
going to be so much worse.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
Well it is, like, well, yeah, don't get me wrong,
I'm leaving a lot out, but it like, what like
till doing this for two weeks is one thing, but
imagine doing this for ten plus years straight. You know, like,
let's let's let's lay out let's you know what, let's
set a challenge till. Let's set a challenge. Let's lay
out like five or six different rituals or different things

(23:44):
that you have to stay committed to. You know what,
all of us can do it. Everyone listening can do this.
Let's let's all hold each other accountable. All right, Grace
is in, I'm in, I'm in till you're in. What
is our list? Let's go down our list of what
we have to do every single day for two weeks straight,
because it takes two weeks to to what former habit. Yeah,
that's correct.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
I think it's twenty one days, but I think I'll
give up by then. So let's let's just cup two weeks.
Let's do a two weeks opic challenge.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Yeah, what are we doing? What are we doing? All right?

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Well, first we're going to start off joining the five
am club.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Oh damn, yeah, you're already.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Yeah, that's so easy for you because you do that anyway.
That's damn. That's a cop out, fatilla.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
That's an easy one, right am club five am is Okay,
there's it.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
You know what. I backed that there's a big difference
thirty five am club. Okay, so number one getting.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Up at five am, five am club. And then I'm
going to say, as soon as you wake up, as
soon as you wake up, lemon and salt water, then
get that in the system yourself. Apparently apparently you just
get the salts back in your body, you know what
I mean? It does something good for you.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
How much so water like a pinch of just.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Like half a well it depends how big your your
cup of water is, but i'd say half a teaspoon
to almost a tea spoon, like you wanted to say,
salty guys. Yeah, hey guys, we're joining the elite club
at the Olympic Athletes here.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
Okay, all right, wait sorry hot water.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Hell no, no, no, Well hot water's great. That's probably
good for your nervous system, but that's that's for a
different level. That's for the equestrians, grease, okay, just cold
water cool.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
Number three.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
All right, we have to exercise, okay, if you're an athlete, okay, yeah,
I like that size in the morning.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
Okay, at least thirty, like thirty minutes of exercise. It
could be a war, it could be yoga.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Okay, gool okay, okay, yeah, hot.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Wall take your dog out at five am. All right.
Fourth thing, we're gonna go. We're just going one by
one here till I like this cold shower, one hundred
percent cold shower for at least five minutes, guys, Yeah, minutes.
And if you guys, guys, if you really want to
join KIMS.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Would I would say five minutes, my five minutes.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
If you want to join the gold medal club, guys,
if you want to join the gold medal player, take
you've got to literally have it. Okay. So bron level
is you can start off hot, you get in warm,
your body, start off hot, and then you change it. Actually, okay,
let's do minutes.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Let's do three minutes.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
But if you want gold minute gold medal club, you
just go in straight cold.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
If you get hypothermia, do not sue us.

Speaker 4 (26:16):
Yeah, No, it's the middle of winter. Consult with your
medical practitioner. You know, like, this is not do not
try this at home, unless you are trying this at home.
Then yeah, we're all in it together.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Okay. Next is a greens drink?

Speaker 1 (26:30):
What kind of Okay? Okay, yeah, what are we talking?

Speaker 2 (26:33):
It's just giving Okay, yeah, it is giving up.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Well, according to pancakes would be more of an athlete.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
You can blending you know what cakes? Yeah, just or
just blend out those cakes, man, those cakes, that green drink. Yeah,
green cakes. We love green cakes. All right. Next after
that is this maybe our last or maybe we can
go too more. We'll go. It's a long list, there's
some sort of Yeah, it's a long list. Okay, maybe
we'll just do more. I'm debating between till either some

(27:02):
sort of visualization meditation.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
You said that the USA soccer team meditate and do
like a little prayer thing before, So I think we're
going to do a little meditation.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
I like it. Yeah, all right, little meditation, visualization, visualize
your yeah, your day, not five minutes. That is a tough.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Grace. Grace has been doing adventures, Molly, She's been hiking,
so she would be able to be with her head
for five minutes.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Yeah, no, I couldn't. I couldn't do it for five minutes.
Let's let's go at least.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Even just if we're just saying three things that were
manifesting for the day, I'm like, yay, good morning, I'm
manifesting that USA wins gold. I'm manifesting, yes, manifesting the
Olympians find love in the Olympic Village, which we.

Speaker 4 (27:53):
Should talk about next time, because that's a whole other
tangent we're going.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
To have to get. All right, I'm going to try
and run through the village without getting arrested and ending
up in That would be great, all right, just for
our podcast. I'll do that for it, thank you.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
We've got to we've got to manifest three things every
morning and really step into your day and beam that
energy outwards into the universe.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Okay, and if you guys are participating with us, please
do tiger us because this is going to be pretty rough,
so we want to do it together.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Yeah, let's reflect two weeks from today.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
I'm going to take before and after photos. I'm not
even kidding. I'm going to be hot girl summer.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
My god, Tillie's in the middle talking about before and
after photos. Just really quick before we wrap. I haven't
been able to work out once since being here, but
there's just something in the bread, the food, the vegetables.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
The fruit.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
I'm looking at hot girl Somemer over here. No, I'm
looking great. You're ripped like I haven't worked abs and ages. Yeah,
and I'm just like I'm feeling great, looking great. My
skin's glowing. Guys, I'm telling you someone here, God seriously, Okay.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
I was expecting you.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
And you'll also put this Olympics challenge on your socials too,
so people, and it'll be in the show notes. So
if you want to do it and you've lost track
of the list, don't you worry.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Keeper lookout, yeah, keep a lookout. Okay, Marley, we thought
for this week, since you're in Paris, which is not
actually Paris, you could tell us an Olympic training.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Actually, I do have an Olympic training literal like, in
literal form. It was an Olympic training. We got into.
We flew into Marseilles, twenty four hours travel well not sorry,
well yeah, actually christ yeah, I did sleep for twenty
four hours. We got in. Yeah, speak had a quick
sleep next day. Yeah, yeah, literally, it's big brother vibes here.
So we're buying our tickets to get on the train

(29:46):
from Marseille to Nice. First of all, since our last
finessing episode, you guys got me hype, right, I've got
the biggest head in France right here, because I'm like
Chris Lind's mum, I'm like, we're gonna finesse these tickets.
I'm going to put you on a senior past me
on an adult, just so that we can like finesse
the price, you know what I mean. Turns out and
these are like expensive tickets for this eight day pass.

(30:07):
Turns out that at the end of the process of
doing that, you have to put in your passport details.
And I'm like, of course you're traveling through Europe, so
you can go through different countries. Yes, And then it
flagged that she obviously wasn't a senior yet, and I'm like.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Oh my god, and just so look she was going
to pass.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Yeah, well we just exactly just trying to finesse, and
she was she was up, she was up with it.
She was up for it, you know what I mean.
And then and then so that that's our first failure there.
So we're like, oh my god. So we get to
the train station and we're asking the girl and we're like, yeah,
train wrecks already started before we've even left the station
here in Marseille. We then asked the lady, obviously can't

(30:46):
speak French, like if we can get these refunded or change.
She goes, no, you're out of luck. Can't even can't
get them changed. She's just gonna have to buy a
new tickets. It's like, oh my god, we're stressing at
this point.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
You've got some car.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Yeah, there's just no refund, just no refund. In France,
they're just so hot, you know what I mean. They're
just like, nah, if we take your money, we're keeping
your money. You made the mistake, you know what I mean. Yeah, yeah,
way too good, way too good. So then we buy,
like I buy, like panic, buy these tickets on the
train really quick because we got to get Denise. It's
like a two and a half hour train ride to
make this game. And the like the train, like the

(31:19):
seats are filling up, do you know what I mean.
So I'm like rushing to buy these tickets, bang, buy them.
We just get them in time get into the line
to get onto the train, and then I start scanning
my tickets and it's not working, and I'm like, oh
my god, what's going on? Yeah, and I'm talking to
the lady there again French doesn't speak like any English,
but I can comprehend a little because of Dad, and

(31:41):
she she shows me. She points to the date and
the date by defaults they set the date to buying
like the tickets for the next day. And I'm like,
that is just a flawed yeah, yeah, yeah, like a
flawed system in the first place. And I'm like, oh
my god, this train tickets for tomorrow, and she goes, yes,
but guys, aura or it just went up in my body. Okay,

(32:02):
get this. So I'm just talking, trying a little bit
of French, trying right, and I think she's feeling that.
She's like, yeah, you've got aura. Yeah, there you go.
Just hit her with a quick bonjore and she goes, Okay,
what I'm gonna do, essentially in broken, very broken English,
I'm going to let you through these gates and as
soon as you get onto the train, buy tickets to
this train. Once you get on, And she's like like,

(32:24):
like get through and then get onto the train and
then buy the tickets on that and I'm like, thank
you so much, Oh my god. Okay, so we get
on later yeah, literally, and these aren't cheap, guys, This
is like one hundred one way like each person or
do you know what I mean? A hundred euros? Yeah,
and yeah, so get on the train third time, lucky
now buying tickets. Yeah, bang, go to buy the tickets

(32:45):
the only ones available for today at like a one
thirty slot and we're on the train at eleven thirty. Yeah,
and it's for a different train. So now the inspector
comes on again and I'm like, guys, I need to
finesse my way out of this. Yeah. So I don't
even have the correct tickets, you know, for us, and
this is our third time now, and then I finessed
my way essentially. But my argument would be I'd be like, bro,

(33:09):
we've like bought twice the amount of tickets to get
on this same train, like we're trying. Yeah, you guys
are winning, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Just get out all that sorry.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Literally and the legs leave. So he was nice enough
to literally he was nice enough to let us go
he said, yep, just this time, we'll let you go,
no worries. So we were in the clear. Finesta, guys,
finested that could have been rough because we could have
missed the first game.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
It was rough, mate, you just lost half your wallet. Yeah,
trains terrible, That is a train. It was awful, but
thank god you made it. And you've got a game
in two hours. Is that right?

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Next game is not tomorrow? The next day?

Speaker 2 (33:43):
Oh okay, well, good luck to len oh is that
when she's versting the matildas?

Speaker 1 (33:48):
Yeap the tillies. So you, guys, everyone tune in, Everyone
tune in watching this.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Molly, do your loyalties.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Go on? Grace? Are you stitching me up? Why are
you stitching me up? Live on the podcast? Guys, I'm
going to say it, and then I'm gonna I'm going
to say it, and then my WiFi is going to
coincidentally just go out.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Let's hear it.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
My loyalties lie with the US USA USA. All right, guys,
gotta go. Let's wrap this one up. That has two guys.
I'll be in a dog.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
Loyalty.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
You also lie with them? Now do you not realize
that you're part of it?

Speaker 1 (34:24):
Yes, yes, Marley.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
The other day I said, this is my second line
going for the USA team and then you Tillies.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
I still can't go for the yes the Tillies because
I'm what have you.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
Rubbed me into? I know? Oh my go, I know.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Yeah, Tilly's loyal Grace. It's either you're on board or
you're not. Get out of here. If you're not on board,
we're getting gold beady. Yeah. All right, let's wrap this
one up. Let's go. Let's wrap this one up. Can
