Speaker 1 (00:04):
The Will and Woody Podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Hello guys, Welcome to the Will and Woody Podcast. Getting
the hottest gear from our week in radio woods with
all the behind the scenes controversy, a little bit of the.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
It's almost like a how we made it?
Speaker 4 (00:24):
How we made it?
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Is that a show?
Speaker 4 (00:26):
How much? If we've made it?
Speaker 3 (00:27):
How how we made it? If I missed something?
Speaker 4 (00:28):
It was a TV show we think of behind the
magician's face.
Speaker 5 (00:32):
There was that magician going on primetime television and would
reveal how magicians were pulling off all their tricks.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
I think you were the only person that watched that. No,
it was great.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, How I made this? It's a podcast. I'm pretty
sure I'm getting close. Small podcast anyway. Look we're doing that,
but in radio form.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Like here's the radio show.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
If I'm confused, I think everyone else is going to be.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
I swear to God. That's I swear to God. That's
a podcast.
Speaker 5 (00:56):
This podcast is now about how we make things.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
It's called How I Made this? How I Made this?
Speaker 2 (01:02):
With Guy Raz it's a podcast anyway, it's a business podcast.
It's actually really good and I don't want this to
be a plug for other people's podcast. But he basically
gets people on who it's like, here's the inventory of Instagram. Ah,
here's the person who invented star star pass, so that
you know, like that's and then they get them on.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
And they talk about how they made that thing.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
It's really cool. That's a great. That sounds like a
great much better than this podcast What are you doing here?
Go to How I Made It?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
It's an NPR podcast, Like it's it's legit, baby, It's
that's huge. I don't know a MP And it's actually
called how I Built This. By the way, I'm not
how I made this. How I Made This sounds like
something they do with my daughter's kindergarten. Now, let's talk
a little bit about.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
What we've got coming out Bloody Earth.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Celia Pacola, Harry Garside, Lee Sales. It's been a huge
week of guests on the show, Celia in particular because
Wood you were telling me we made the bloody news
for the chat with Celia.
Speaker 5 (01:56):
Rare, very rare for us to make the news, and
it's funny when we do make the news. So Celia
is going to tell you, very very shortly why she
dropped the F bomb live.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
On national television at the logis yep.
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Phenomenees for bestly actor in a drama. Ah, that's incorrect.
It's just no, it's not that it's the best drama
program from a program someone a Channel.
Speaker 7 (02:21):
Seven is.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
So she's gonna She comes on very shortly and basically
says what what exactly happened there?
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yes, why the audio cue was wrong? Again, I won't
go into it now.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
She explains it beautifully, but yes, media got that from.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
How about it? Guys? Round about it? Well?
Speaker 2 (02:44):
I think, and again for a little bit of how
I made this info. There's a bit of a chat
that we have with junior producer an Eleise when she
brings us a guess and that the tagline we have
is interviews in the news?
Speaker 3 (02:57):
How do we get the interview in the news?
Speaker 4 (02:59):
That's the first one?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Well, we hit it.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
We made that rule two and a half years ago.
We've got one.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
No, I don't know that. That's not the first.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
We made the news once also for almost killing in
Huey Hewitson, the famous chef. We almost gave him fish
by accident. Didn't mean to almost kill him. It wasn't attempted.
Speaker 8 (03:19):
Murder, did Mariah?
Speaker 9 (03:23):
You also made the news for Mariah Carey and with
Mariah Carey.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
You've never interviewed Mariah Carey.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Mariah Carey.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Yes, we made the news for doing a bad interview
with her.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
And you might have.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
You might have just made the news of being mildly
racist poop pants. I reckon that might.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
And alsa we made the news for anything else.
Speaker 10 (03:42):
You also made the news when Will revealed his vendetta
against Jared Leto for hitting on sim No.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
His ex girlfriend duck.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
We refer to her as thanks for bringing her up, baby,
So you've.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Brought up a failed interview we did with j Low
and W's ex girlfriend.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Work. Good work, guys, lovely guy.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
We're a lot of thumb to a flyer and we're
all right, let's get into some gear from the week then,
because I feel like we were off to a flyer
this week in a conversation that really needed to happen
between you and me, Woods, which was I think a
conversation that a lot of people probably have at this
time of year about being sick, essentially just having a cough. Oh,
(04:23):
this goes badly for me having a cold something very common.
Until you revealed that you do something to manage the
amount of phlegm that you have when you go to
bed at night.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Ah, you gotta give them that.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
HOWK tune spent on that night. I'm only allowed to
play that once.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
But we were talking about the Hawk Tour Girl, and
what do you know, we've both got colds at the moment,
I think ninety percent of the audience listening right now.
I've got a cold, you've got a froging throat, you've
got a bit of flame. Whatever it is, regardless, we
can all agree there's a lot of coughing.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Yes, a lot of flam. Yes, there's a lot of mucus.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
It's not it's not it's not pleasant, no, but it's
something we all deal with discreetly.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
I mean, yes, I spit in a bin here in
the studio.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
You've been honest, think quietly, that's that's just the way
it is.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
And we all deal with the fact that when we've
got a cold and we go to work. You know,
some of us spartans out there, we still go to
work when we've got our colds.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
Were soldiers were we're.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Cyboid soldiers, and we have to deal with the fact
that we've.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Got flem in our lungs in our throat and how
you deal with that needs to be discreet, and I
think it needs to go straight to the waist.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
So sounding like you're on my side.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
So when you go to I'm not because I have to.
You know, you just casually dropped me after I spat
in the bin one time.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
How do you have you got a howk? You've got
a hog to it next to your bed?
Speaker 5 (05:37):
I said, have you got a howk to a cup?
Because I have a little I have a little mug.
So it's a little mug next to my bed because
because you think, no, hang on now.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Let me finish.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Because if I if I was getting up to go
to the toilet, every time I was hiking up flem,
there is so much fleme in my chest and my
throat and my nose and my head that.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
This is happening. I'm hocking fifty times a night.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
You're howking fifty times at night.
Speaker 5 (05:59):
There's so much here's your sex, you so hot, so
so basically like this, it's half full by the morning.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
I'm not and I'm not joking. I'm sorry, No, I'm sorry,
but is the carp's just a standard mug.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
A mug you have a mug of hock tour.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
And the next to your bed, and then dishwasher that
is rank. Everyone has struggled.
Speaker 5 (06:19):
It is a green dish washer, green, no what dishwasher?
And then coffee the next day in the same.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
You put your coffee in it my carrot mug with
a little bunny on it.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
That is vile. And he's more rattled. He con is
it done? Said?
Speaker 4 (06:39):
He made one.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
I don't care.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
You've got a hog to a mug next to your bed,
which you half feel every night. Now thirty one and
six five, and we're opening in the phone line. We're
gonna hear from doctor Norman's one up next as well,
because we need a doctor awayh in on this because
I think I know you. You'll have a medical reason
as to why it's good for you.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
We're not good for you, but you can't swallow makes
you sicker.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
This isn't thirty one and six five spitz or swallows.
This is thirty one six that's me saying, if I
didn't have a chamber pot next to my toilet, I'd
just be pissing the bed every night. No mate, I
get up and I go to the bathroom like every
other normal person does.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
But if I did that, I would be up fifty times.
I wouldn't get any sleep. And if you swallow, if
you swallow.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
You get thicker, You're going, We're not going, you get
more sick, okay.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
And I think that's your medical contention.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
And doctor Norman's one is going to join us for
us to discuss that with him in a very professional
medical fashion. And I'm sorry that it descended into where
it did before, but that is that is the question.
It is whether or not you know swallowing is actually
bad for you while you've got a cold. Marcella's called
on thirtay one and six five. Marcella, what do you
think about this?
Speaker 11 (07:45):
What do you please? Don't do that?
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Okay? That is well, so what do you do? What
do you do when you're.
Speaker 11 (07:52):
You just take a little bean bag in your room
and have a little bit of a box of tissues.
And then every time in people.
Speaker 5 (08:02):
One man's bin is another man's cup. Marcella, Where where
where are talking?
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Talk?
Speaker 4 (08:07):
And we are talking cheese. I'm not sure I've got.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
The Marcella is still here, Marcella. I mean I I did.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
And this for everyone else listening is just Johnny I
assume you heard the bit that he uses that same
cup for his coffee the next morning.
Speaker 11 (08:18):
Oh my god, please, I had to put this volume
down because I was gaggy.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
I think you speak for a lot of people that
Danny's called on.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
I do a lot of dishwasher first, as I put Danny, Danny,
what are your thoughts on this?
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Having?
Speaker 12 (08:31):
Oh my god, what is wrong with you?
Speaker 11 (08:35):
Get the tissue? Hook tour into the tissue, scrunched it up.
Speaker 13 (08:40):
Then yeah that in your mug strong from Danny coming
in hot here the chicks.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Surely someone's going to get around me. You've got a
spit cut by your bed, do you?
Speaker 11 (08:57):
I didn't put My grandfather used to make us weigh
his pick cup. I don't know. He was just a
horrible man. He would give give us. It was like
in a cardboard cup. It would make us weigh it.
As God.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Let's go to Normans one because yeah, doctor Norman's one
joins us right now, Doctor Norman, great to have you
on the show again.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
Thanks for joining us.
Speaker 12 (09:23):
Thanks very much. I'm getting seriously worried about what are
you here?
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Every time you can make on the show, I feel
your concerned increases more and more. You've got the head
of psychology somewhere on the dial.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
I imagine Dodor Norman?
Speaker 5 (09:36):
Though, did you do you agree with my contention though,
that if you are swallowing down your flem that you hoycout,
that will make you sicker.
Speaker 12 (09:44):
No ah, So what's really important, So to be boring,
what's really important is if you've got flem you coughered,
do you smoke woody?
Speaker 11 (09:52):
No?
Speaker 13 (09:54):
Good?
Speaker 12 (09:54):
Well, I mean you're coughing up a hell of a
lot of flame.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Working fifty times a night feels like a lot. It
might be a mental thing for you.
Speaker 12 (10:01):
Yeah, yeah. So here's here's the here's the thing. So,
if you've got flame in your chest, you've got to
cough it up. You don't want to be drowning there.
It's not good to get infected and so on. But
you know, the problem you've got is that by really
becoming obsessed with getting in the spit cup, every time
you cough it up, you're you're you're sending our aerosols
or whatever germs in your chest, am I? So really
(10:23):
you know what's happening in your bedroom and the rest
of the house. So the people who talk about tissues,
are you know, on the on the on the money here,
you know, just so control yourself put it in some tissues.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Is been talking a lot about the fact that his
partner has been very sick, and.
Speaker 12 (10:43):
Is it any surprise, I mean, the you know, So
let me just let me just give you what happens normally.
What happens normally is you've got mucus in your lungs,
which helps clean the lungs when you're not sick. Every
moment of the day, you're bringing up mucus without you
realizing it into the back of your throat and you
swall That's the normal process.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
That's what happens.
Speaker 12 (11:05):
That's what happened.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
And so DODR.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Norman, there's nothing wrong with him, you're saying, And I
can't believe I'm ask I'm suggesting there's nothing wrong with this.
Speaker 12 (11:11):
Yeah, I'm not where you're going to be having a
dinner tonight.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
But there's given what you just said about naturally swallowing
your mucus, and I know that you did this most
recently on your podcast What's That Rash? So people can
hear more about this for doctor Norman's wand because it
is interesting right now, we've all got a call.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
John.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
You're saying there's nothing wrong with the fact that what
he uses that same cup for a coffee the next morning.
Speaker 12 (11:31):
Well, that's his problem, not everybody else. I'm not sure
I wanted to share. I'm not sure I want to
share the dishwasher with him. But you know, well, I'm
seriously wrong with your broadcast partner, can.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
So naturally the origin story of having a Hok Tour
cup next to your bed was Hocktour Girl. Now, I'm
sure you just heard it in the bit there. We
did play a little bit of it. I didn't know
who Hocktour Girl was. That's quite amazing that you some
missed that totally, given that I don't exist on any
social media. It's not but this was like, but this
(12:06):
is like you don't have a TV sort of areas.
You have a sun, I like books, you have you
have cinema curtains. Yeah, it is true, But I watched movies.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Yeah, I watched films.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Yeah, yeah, but this was so I watched art.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
Hok Tour Girl I think went viral when and by
the way, hock too a girl is art.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Yeah, it's an art to go in viral.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
But but she went viral when we were on holidays.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
To be fair, I think we're more across the news
when we have produced as sending this news story.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
The other thing is I get news to I think
that was the issue.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Is Hocktour girl went viral when I wasn't getting my
daily news emails from the prods.
Speaker 5 (12:45):
Yes, I found out over I was at an event
and someone said, this is.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
A good phone. Where were you when you found out
about girl?
Speaker 4 (12:52):
I don't know if you' joking to know, but that's
actually quite good.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
But someone walked out to me and said, oh, hock
Tour spit on that thing, And I was like, come again.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Yeah, Well that's the thing when when they first say.
Speaker 5 (13:02):
To you, it's a weird reference to go for if
the other person doesn't get it because it's like that
feels aggressive.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
So earlier in the day, this is how hock Tour
came up. First of all for your spit cup, but
then also just in general, there was a story about
young Gravy and Hawk too. Girl.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
This is young Gravy.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
By the way, Everything is wrong with music and that
generation anyway.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yeah, I couldn't.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
Disagree more for the record music is subjective as his
are as it. Unfortunately, you're correct now Hawk to a girl,
I hadn't seen him. There's a story about howk to
a girl and Young Gravy. Yes, an Alas comes into
the studio and I just all I knew was that
there was a story about I knew who.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
I knew who Young Gravy was because my ears had
been defended by him before.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
And I make sure I've got a blacklist of all
those people that make my ears bleed?
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Who else is on that?
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Ah? That chick you like?
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Oh, Chapel Roone, I love Chapel Roone.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Pathetic Anyway, So Analyse comes into the studio and I
said to her, Analse, do you know who hock.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Tour girl is.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
The first thing she said to me was spit on
that thing, at which point I was like, whoa mate workplace?
Speaker 3 (14:21):
Yes, totally inappropriate.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Yes, it turns out she was referring to what she
actually says. It's a risky reference to go for with
no context. It's a really hard thing to want to.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
Men in their mid thirties. So two dads in their
mid thirties, very risky reference to go for. Yes, because
it can go badly.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Absolutely absolutely.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
But the great thing was howk to a girl slid
into Young Graviies DMS. And it's moments like that when
you're talking about stories like that on the radio, that
you do question why you're in this job.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
But sure that gets me out. That's that's sort of thing.
Who slid into whose DMS?
Speaker 3 (14:57):
I mean? More importantly, who's giving will that story?
Speaker 2 (14:59):
I mean I spent the first three minutes of that
break trying to figure out who Young.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Gravy and howk too a girl was.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
That's sorry, that's a good question for outside pooey aniles.
Why did I love Young Gravy and I love hock
to a girl? So sorry? Just to the producers choose
which stories to send to.
Speaker 5 (15:17):
Each of us, why didn't you send me that story?
Speaker 9 (15:22):
You're a bit sick and I knew you were a
jagon a weird place.
Speaker 14 (15:26):
That's a great answer, that's a fair shot, No further questions,
good decision.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Prosecution rests, very good.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
So I got given this story about howk Too girl
sliding into Young Gravy's MS, and we ended up in
a topic which I just thought Analise speaking of could
provide a lot of intel on which is sliding into
people's dms full stop.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
She is the perennially single member of the team.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Yep, and I knew that she had a lot of
drunken slidings that I think needed to be shared, and
gracefully she came on the air and shared them with us,
and some of these people.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
We will know.
Speaker 7 (16:09):
Yeah, we'll all know them.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
These you missed one hundred percent of the shots. You
don't take, guy, These concerted messages are these like you've
got home at night and gone, you know what.
Speaker 10 (16:24):
There's a bit of a mix of both, to be honest.
So the first one was to Formula one driver Lando.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Norris when he was in town.
Speaker 10 (16:32):
He was in Australia for the Odds GP so at
eight eleven a m.
Speaker 15 (16:36):
I sent him a message saying, if you need a
tour guide in Melbourne.
Speaker 10 (16:40):
Let me know X to make sure he knew I
was trying to be flirty with the.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
X because he might have taken it literally. Yeah, so weird.
Speaker 10 (16:50):
He didn't reply to me, but you know, office still
stands for twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
Of course, why do you go for eight in the morning?
Just out of.
Speaker 15 (16:56):
Curiousity, I just replied to his story, you know, and.
Speaker 5 (17:00):
He's like doing a story like I'm in Melbourne and
you've gone perfect there.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Orlando didn't get back to you.
Speaker 10 (17:08):
He didn't get back to me, but you know, still stands.
Next one Australia, Heartthrobe Jacob Alrdie.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Oh yeah, recently in Priscilla.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
Yes, yeah, Saltburn.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Yeah, when you message him.
Speaker 15 (17:20):
I messaged him after Saltburn.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
Saltburn one of the biggest movies in the world. He
couldn't be more popular.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Love a stat count of the amount of women and
men that message him, like the moment that credits rolled
on that movie.
Speaker 11 (17:38):
It was.
Speaker 10 (17:38):
I just messaged him and said this movie was bloody amazing,
loved it. Now, mind you, majority of the time when
you send a message, it just goes unread. But after
I messaged Jacobal Laudie, it came up with this user
cannot receive.
Speaker 15 (17:53):
Any messages from anyone, So now it's just.
Speaker 6 (17:56):
In the.
Speaker 15 (17:59):
Maybe we'll hear it now.
Speaker 10 (18:00):
I know that I loved his work.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
Forgets the podcast.
Speaker 10 (18:04):
Yes, yes, another one a bit more local, still international,
Dusty from Heartbreak High.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
Oh yeah, very attractive.
Speaker 9 (18:13):
Yes.
Speaker 15 (18:15):
I did a double message which has a bit embarrassing.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Or you're in the blue, you're double in the blue.
Speaker 10 (18:22):
Yeah, my message and I said, love your work in
Heartbreak High.
Speaker 15 (18:27):
It better be renewed for another season.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
Nice, it's good solid, just.
Speaker 15 (18:31):
Kept it kind of pro fresh.
Speaker 5 (18:37):
Now we didn't get the end of that slide into
the Heartbreak.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
High Dusty, Dusty Dusty. What's what's Dusty's actual name? Josh
Josh White Houston.
Speaker 16 (18:49):
I think I think go on, mate, I think i
think he's thirty two of the ago.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
Now we obviously had a good giggle there at the
first half. But you you've slid into his d MS again.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
Yes, I did.
Speaker 10 (19:08):
I slid in three months later because I think it.
Speaker 8 (19:10):
A three month gap.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
I'd love it.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
So you left it three and you went he needs
another nudge, Yes, just like.
Speaker 10 (19:17):
A little Maybe I wasn't forward enough last time.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
That's that's good self feedback, I reckon, So what did
you go for the second time?
Speaker 10 (19:25):
So the second time he must have posted like an
attractive picture.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
So I've just I've got him up at the moment
at ely So he's a model as well.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
He's very attractive.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
He has a bit of modeling, very he's beautiful.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
Yeah, Min would Min would tell me a lot that
he's very.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Attractive while you're watching. Yes, I feel like that's.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
Struck a nerve sometimes hard, you know, when your partner
find someone that're like, wow, that's attracted and you're looking
at them, going features in common. Yeah, he's literally the
opposite to what I look like, and you're just like that.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
You find if you find that attracted me.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
But the thing next to you, Yeah, yeah, what am I?
But yeah, I can hear that.
Speaker 5 (20:04):
But he posted a sexy photo shot a shot.
Speaker 10 (20:10):
Okay, So I've replied to that, and may I just
preface that I no longer do this. I'm ashamed of myself.
I'm embarrassed. But I did reply saying this is ridiculously hot.
Speaker 7 (20:23):
Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Speaker 10 (20:25):
I actually can't thank you for sharing.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Hey, so he didn't.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Mispond again, What a surprise.
Speaker 15 (20:38):
I'm gonna go on send that one actually right now.
Speaker 5 (20:40):
No, be proud, be proud, be proud, and he might
still respond turn her mic off. Up next, Celia Pacola
explains the Logi's gaff Harry Garside and Lee Sales the
hottest of the guests this week under the Muddy.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
To see seriously, it's seriously hot week and guests. I mean,
this is meant to be the best of the best
in the podcast from the week, and we left a
lot of the chopping room floor this week.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
It hurts.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
It was like choosing our children. And we've dedicated the
next little bracket to the best guests we've had. Abby Chatfield,
she's out of here. Wow, Wow, you made that decision.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
Anyone listening right now would know. I never make decisions.
I sit on the fence. I splinters at my ass.
That's not true.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
You did, you did? I think no.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
I think we are reposting her as a separate little
pod that you can listen to because there was a
very it's because it was a very cute moment that
she had with her boyfriend in Adam from Peaking Duck,
which is really lovely.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
So go and listen to that in your own time,
which is on a separate little pod. Truly gorgeous.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Like I didn't expect that to be as cute as
it was, So go and listen to that in your
own time. But the bit that I think we really
want to play for you guys, because you know, Interviews
Make News has previously discussed was that Celia Pacola came
on here a couple of days after she'd been everywhere
in the news for dropping an F bomb live on
TV at the Logies.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
So you're gonna hear that again.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
You're gonna hear her explanation around it a little bit
behind the scenes though, I mean, I don't know how
far to go with this.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
But so on the day after she dropped the F.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
Bomb, she's doing them, she's doing the media rounds, right,
she walks into.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Another radio show.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Now, I don't want to lambast my own industry here,
because you know, we can all be accused of being
a bit lazy.
Speaker 5 (22:34):
M might be a clue there, go on, if you
can join the dots, then well done.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Gone.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Anyway, she's walked into another radio station, and this is
the day after she's dropped the F bomb. So's she's
literally on the front page of every every online news
and memes. She's gifts, she's vines. If they're still doing
(23:04):
the vines anyway, they're not doing the vine anyway. So
she's everywhere. She walks into this radio station and she's pumped.
She explained to us that she was pumped because she
was like, well, amazing. Normally I have to come up
with gear for these interviews, but I'm ever on the
biggest news story in Australia right now.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
We're going to dine out on this for ten minutes.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
This is going to be great. And she was like
genuinely excited about it. Anyway, So she sits down in
this radio studio and she goes, oh, well, guys, shame,
there's nothing to talk about. And the people that were
interviewing her, well not really like what have you been
up to you? I'm talking about thank god you're here,
so completely blanked on it, but Likelywood. I mean, we've
(23:47):
made a career off sloppy seconds.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
We're professional.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Not on this station, my friend.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
We are the net that catches everyone else's dropped catch am,
I right.
Speaker 5 (23:56):
We're across everything. We do the prep, do the prep
eyes in any work. And here is a very well
prepped chat with Celia Aguala. Last time we saw your face, Celia,
there was a big F bomb coming out of your mouth.
Speaker 6 (24:13):
I was going to say thank you for having me
since my disreputable I wasn't sure. The thing is it
happened in my defense two am. So there's a raal
chance that you hadn't seen it, so I was hoping
that I would have snuck in.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
It made the cut though, Oh yeah, with live television
it makes the cut.
Speaker 17 (24:29):
Yeah, do you know what it's like?
Speaker 6 (24:30):
It's so weird, you know, when you have a night
out and then the next day you're like, there's no
way that actually went down the way that I remember.
But then you remember that it was on live national television,
so you can go back and check and.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
Yeah it was, and we can also play audio of
it as well.
Speaker 6 (24:48):
Phenomenees for bestly an actor in a drama that's incorrect.
Speaker 7 (24:52):
It's just no, it's not that it's the.
Speaker 17 (24:55):
Best drama program.
Speaker 7 (24:56):
Drumm a program someone a Channel seven is?
Speaker 17 (25:00):
I mean, I shouldn't be so proud of that.
Speaker 7 (25:04):
I really shouldn't be right.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
You are proud.
Speaker 17 (25:09):
It was funny and it wasn't my fault. I read
the thing.
Speaker 7 (25:12):
I was there.
Speaker 17 (25:13):
It was it was so late and ever I was
so tired.
Speaker 6 (25:16):
And it's funny and it's funny of hearing it back
because the timing, how funny is the meat like I
just got cut off. The phenomena is for bestly an
actor in a drama Ah, that's incorrect. It's just it's
not that it's the best drama program.
Speaker 11 (25:37):
Drama program.
Speaker 7 (25:39):
Someone a Channel seven, I mean.
Speaker 15 (25:44):
Is it my fest moment?
Speaker 3 (25:46):
I don't know the voiceover, You're right, it's so silky smooth.
The judgtamosicians brilliant.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
In the category.
Speaker 6 (25:53):
The first best drama is called Love Me and the
time did perfectly with the me. And the weird thing
is like I've been getting messages people like We're gonna
have it on T shirt, like I've got a new
catchphrase now which I can't say.
Speaker 17 (26:07):
Just somewhat Channel seven as f me, which is which
is weird because.
Speaker 6 (26:12):
I've just gotten used to people saying thank God you're
here when they saw me and now me and the
other thing that's happened from this is the greatest honor.
Granny Bingo, who a drag Bingo show, who have a
trivia night, sent me a photo one of the trivia
teams last night the night before named their team someone Yeah,
(26:38):
and I was like, this is a great thing of it.
And then my friend Felicity Ward was like, someone, you're
gonna be in lip sync. You're gonna a drag drag
queen is gonna lip sync your line, and I was like, oh,
really do you think so? I mean, I'm no Pauline
pants down. You remember that if I make it into
a mash up remix somewhere in the zeit guys in
the fabric, I'm very I just can't believe it. Of
all of the things I was worried going into the
(27:01):
LOGI not in a million years.
Speaker 15 (27:04):
Yeah, I think.
Speaker 6 (27:05):
I would be accusing someone at channels offing me online.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
Was there a conversation after when you go back.
Speaker 6 (27:14):
To I probably shouldn't say I met someone basically I
think they're fine.
Speaker 7 (27:22):
I mean, no, I've nen't been in trouble. No one's
told me told me off.
Speaker 6 (27:25):
But someone up with me just went, hey, I work
at Channel seven, and I was like, sorry, but also
that I work for you.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
I'm going to say, because I mean you're Channel ten,
it's their fault you out there right? Really?
Speaker 6 (27:43):
Yea, I just read it put in front of me,
no liability, you know, and.
Speaker 17 (27:46):
You're welcome for me given the broadcast a little bit.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
Of yeah yeah, right, yeah.
Speaker 6 (27:51):
But it was eleven forty five, and then I remembered
someone reminded me Kitty Flat again dropped in their bomb.
Speaker 17 (27:56):
At seven thirty, So the winner of the ABC I
really letting.
Speaker 5 (28:01):
There was almost an attack on Channel seven from the
A B C Girls as many bombs as we can.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
When you said that something from Channel seven spoke to
you for some reason, I'm imagining that that that's just
respectivating Channel seven job.
Speaker 7 (28:15):
It was not the cash cow.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
I don't know, Okay, okay, And what about you and Luke?
Because I was like, you're the one because everyone sees
you and Luke out there. Everyone's thinking that McGregor is
going to put his foot in it, but you're you
were actually the one. Is there a bit of a
is he walking slightly taller after that moment?
Speaker 17 (28:34):
He thinks it's so funny.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Yeah, in the world that he just glad it's not him.
Speaker 7 (28:39):
I think he's a bit jealous.
Speaker 17 (28:40):
He thinks it's so funny.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
He wants a.
Speaker 6 (28:44):
Funny and if anything was like Luke, he just he's lucky.
I was there, I mean not like but he just
went with it like I knew it was wrong. Yeah,
he was just like yep, no, that's why, yeah, trust.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
Yeah, followed you blindly. It was kind of beautiful.
Speaker 6 (28:57):
No, he thinks he's been in full support, and we've
been messaging lot about it ever since. But I was
if I was going to have that happen on live television,
there's no one I would rather have standing beside me. Well,
this is the weird thing as well, because I'm very
do stand up, so my whole life is on display.
I'm like, I'll talk about any It's very rare that
I'm involved in any kind of snaffer something like this
(29:19):
that feels sort of bigger controversy. Could there was an
article male article or something that said it was explicit
contents explicit.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
Content on commercial television.
Speaker 7 (29:36):
At eleven forty five.
Speaker 17 (29:37):
I guess that is.
Speaker 7 (29:38):
I don't know in the world today.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
I'm really interested in this ethical dilemma that you're going
through now. Is totally fine.
Speaker 6 (29:47):
But also it's fine, but it's also is it funny?
But I just want to so what Actually, I know
what happened, which is our the awards that Luke and
I were The award that Luke and I were presenting
was swapped. So that's clearly what happens is the auto
you had not been changed from that, Yes, we.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Were, Yeah, So what people what have seen is the
screen I had the correct award.
Speaker 17 (30:10):
Yes it did.
Speaker 6 (30:11):
So I'm reading the autoque which is on the camera
in front of me that I'm looking at. It would
have looked crazy for me to before I've done that.
Looks behind me. Okay, I think we can all agree
on that for no reason to just go I'm just
going to have a look behind it.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Obvious that haven't been on one of the around these
one of these things before, but there is something that
is guiding water there.
Speaker 6 (30:30):
You'll notice often an awards nights when the little bit
of banter at the start, it's not it's going to
shock you. I'm gonna I'm going to break some Showby's rules.
Speaker 7 (30:37):
But that's often.
Speaker 17 (30:38):
It's scripted and it's written.
Speaker 6 (30:41):
But Luke and ized bit we wrote, We wrote it,
but we sort of banter it. So it might look
not scripted because it's sort of banter, which it is.
But then we turn back. That's the whole joke is
we do our little thing and then we go, ah,
we should get on with the actual awards. And then
I go to read it and I started reading it, yes,
and then I was like, this feels wrong because I
know that that award.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
Had has already happened. So the teleprompter was, yeah, I've been.
Speaker 17 (31:05):
There for eight hundred hours.
Speaker 6 (31:09):
I believe it was Felix who won that all. That's
how much I remember. It was a big one. And
you could feel the room go as well because they
were to this sieves familiar and Luke Oblivious was like, yeah,
that's the one. I'm like, no, no, I don't think
it is. And that's when I turned around because Luke's like,
it's behind you, and I'm like, okay, well that says
best drama. And then very quickly I don't know why
(31:31):
or where it came out.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
I just know what it was.
Speaker 6 (31:33):
I think the rage went I don't want people like
this is not my mistake, the urgency to be like
I can read, read, I can read, and I read,
and I immediately looked for someone to play, and thankfully
quickly remembered which network we were on, because that would
have made no sense if I got someone at General nine,
(31:55):
it just.
Speaker 18 (31:55):
Would have made no sense.
Speaker 6 (31:58):
So very wisely for my own career, chose to attack
an entire network.
Speaker 3 (32:04):
Jeez, you would have written some headlines the next day
if you hadn't played.
Speaker 19 (32:09):
Tell you what.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
That the logos does change like it's not Channel seven
pet event, it changes between nine and ten.
Speaker 6 (32:17):
Someone at ten peaches anyway, So yeah, no more life
TV for me, only scripted.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
Do you think from this point on you will if
you're an award ceremony again, which will probably be the logies.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
Do you think next time you will look behind you.
Speaker 7 (32:32):
I don't think I'm going next year. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (32:38):
Actually, here's my I don't know. Here's my prediction. I
think they'll ask me to host.
Speaker 17 (32:44):
I think it's a very Australian thing to.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Go all right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, because you're you're
you're the one that everyone's laughing with at the moment. Yeah,
they want you on blood if it's Channel nine next year,
bringing the Channel seven and you open up with an.
Speaker 7 (33:03):
It is a million is I think?
Speaker 6 (33:05):
But I don't think Sam should continue.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
He said that you'd already been asked. He was sloppy
seconds he said that when he came in.
Speaker 7 (33:13):
I don't think so, I don't think.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
I don't don't know you'd have that many requests like
MC requests these days, that's right.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
I can't even remember. I can't even remember which one
it was. No, I can't remember how many m requests.
Would you get a lot? You would like a weekly?
Speaker 7 (33:29):
Yeah, and I don't do them.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
That's what I'm saying. Would it be hundreds?
Speaker 7 (33:32):
No? No, no for them.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
Half the price between two of us.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Thanks heals, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
What's another great chat this week? It was when Harry
Garston came in.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
I love Harry. He's a beautiful, beautiful man.
Speaker 5 (33:53):
And I think the interesting thing here is like when
Harry lost at the Olympics, which I'm sure runs across
like it was quite a shock that he got knocked
out yet not knocked out, but he got eliminated in
the first round.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
It's hard in boxing when people getting knocked out, isn't it?
Because he is you know he you know, if he's
playing tennis there he got knocked out in the first round,
he's in boxing.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
He's like, oh shit, did he get concussed he hit
or is he you know?
Speaker 3 (34:18):
Right?
Speaker 2 (34:18):
But you know it's Shamiel wasn't knocked out and get
knocked out, because then he could have killed two birds
of bloodstone.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
But we digress, we do so.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
So it's interesting because on this radio show we kind
of spoke about especially because I have a friendship with Harry,
and we spoke on air about how I was feeling
just after watching him lose at the Olympics, and because
he gave some really honest interviews about how he felt
like it let everyone down.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Yeah, pretty raw. So you're going to hear that as well,
because we actually had a chance to play it to.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
Him one hundred percent.
Speaker 5 (34:50):
So this was actually this was the first time I
had seen him in person since that, So you're gonna
hear us just kind of I mean, not tiptoeing walking
right into just how his mind.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Can I just say, by the way, the only reason
we walked right into it because obviously I knew that
we had Harry on the show that I came in
here beforehand and I said to you, like, where's he at?
Speaker 3 (35:09):
Because I mean, he's.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
Spoken very publicly about his mental health challenges before, and
you know we're not shock jocks, nah. And I also
don't want to make someone, you know, feel shit about
something they've done or like, so I had to you know,
you're you're good mate to him, So I had to,
you know, I mean, the the John Laws in me wanted.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
To hit him with the audio and watch him.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
Cry, But the person in me was like, well, shit,
I don't know if we can talk to him about this,
because you know, that would arguably be his greatest trauma,
is something he's.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Worked towards for four years, and then to be eliminated
in the first round might be the hardest thing in
the world. So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Maybe there's a bit of insight listening is for you, guys,
Is there depending on the guest, even someone like Harry
who's a very resilient good friend of yours, you still
have to think about whether they're going to be sensitive
to what you're going to do with them.
Speaker 5 (36:05):
You actually said to him just before, I was like, man,
I'm gonna play a little bit of audio of your interview,
and he goes, yeah, mate, play it bench me like
hit like hit me.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
I want to feah.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
He's a bit sick like that. I loved easy, a
bit sick. He's a bit he loves it. He loves pain,
he really does. He's a bit sick. Anyway, it was
a beautiful chat. It was great to see him, and
yeah he went there, which was cool. Well, obviously we
want to talk about the Olympics because that was easily
the hardest watch for me. The whole games was watching you.
It's so tough for me as a spectator, but for you.
(36:36):
We've got some audio of you after the fight if
you want to hear it.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
But you don't want to hear it, no, let's play.
Speaker 19 (36:41):
Bring me back into it. I probably feel a little
bit more.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
Okay, all right, it's crazy.
Speaker 19 (36:45):
You made two decades dedicated to one dream and it's
over just like that.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
I feel pretty number right now.
Speaker 19 (36:50):
But I'm sure your next month or two will be
quite challenging, quite hard. I feel from my mind gets
the better of binge. I feel like I've let myself
down and I learn if you've been with young maid,
but what do you do? That's I feel like I
since I've been home, I've just been distracting myself. And
I wrote a poem about like I feel like I'm
(37:11):
waiting for this emotion to like, yeah, I know, some
hectic emotion, like I've chases for twenty years, right, I've
chased his Olympic glory for twenty years and for it
to be over like that, Like I'm really waiting for
something to bench me. Yes, there's an element of distraction,
but I'm also like, I don't know like I also
think as well, maybe I'm waiting for something that might
not come, maybe like age, maturity, growth, Maybe that plays
(37:34):
into it, right, But like, I don't know, I feel
like there's still a lot to think about, it, still
a lot to unpack. It's still very fresh. Like I
feel like I'm enjoying being home, Like I spent so
much time away this year, so I think I'm being
home being around family. I've got a book tour like
distracting me, so I haven't felt heaps. I love healing emotions, mate,
Like it's the reason for me why I live. Like
(37:54):
I love the highs, the lows, the ins, the outs
that the love, the passion when you hate some being
like just that but human? How good is it? The best?
Speaker 4 (38:03):
The best?
Speaker 5 (38:04):
Can you talk a bit about I watched an Instagram
story that you put up when you walked into your
bedroom for the first time.
Speaker 19 (38:10):
Yeah, that was it was like I was dreading that
on the flight home, and my housemate knew that I
was going to dread it, and he actually did say
he was in Europe at the time. He's like, I
can get someone to go into our place and take
that stuff down if you want. I was like, nah,
I don't do it.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
What was in your room?
Speaker 2 (38:24):
Because I haven't said I'm not on socials? What was
what was in there?
Speaker 19 (38:27):
It's like Olympic paraphernalia, just alloo like and I'm an
Olympic gold medalist written numerous times over the walls, mirrors
and Australian flags. There was just so much. But I
don't want people to hide that from me. I think
many times in my life when I was younger, I
would distract. I would run away from It's the addictive mindset, right,
(38:47):
you run away from unease, like that's what addiction is. Like,
you distract yourself as much as you can from uneasy emotions.
And I want to feel it. I want to be
in it. I want to feel it now. I don't
want to run away from it and then feel it
in six months, Like I want to bend me. Let's go,
put me on my ass. Yeah, because that's the only
reason you get back up, like you can't get like,
I don't know, I feel like you're more. You run
away from it the harder it is in six months.
Speaker 4 (39:08):
And if you don't feel it now, I imagine that stuff
just builds up and builds up and builds up, but
eventually it's going to come out right.
Speaker 19 (39:15):
Like this is obviously a little bit off topic, but
kind of similar, but like when I have been through
breakups in the past, I feel like a lot of
males that I know, they run away from it, distract, distract, distract,
and then a year later they're like, well, I'm so
unhappy what's going on? So if you haven't actually thought
about it at all, your break up, the failure, the
thing that didn't go right. And I'm trying my best
not to do that now. Yes, I have a book
(39:36):
tour right now. I yess, I'm distracting myself. But I've
made a deal with myself that once this is done,
which is very soon, I'm going to have like a week,
whether that be go out in a swag, whether that
be go somewhere that I love by myself, remote and
just be in it and whatever comes up. There might
be happiness, there might be joy, they might be crying,
there might be I don't know what's going to come up,
but I just want to be there and create the
(39:57):
space for it.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
That's a great idea that at the end end of
every year as well. It's a really good way to
just process terrifying but also wonderful.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
In the new book The Good Fight.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
All pre Olympics chat, is there any like we're just
hearing all your life and the build up to that
moment that was Paris.
Speaker 19 (40:15):
Yeah, it's interesting because it's not it's not like an
autobiography or a story of my life. It's very much
like there is one hundred percent stories of my life. Yeah,
the story of my life. So it's my search for
manhood throughout my life. The reason as to why I
started boxing was to impress the men in my life,
my brothers and my dad and other masculine figures. Didn't
know that at the age of but I could definitely
(40:36):
look back.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
You would have been very self aware.
Speaker 19 (40:38):
Of stroking my gray beard in the age of that,
but I can definitely look back now, like I've done
so many things in my teenage years that were just
in a search for my manhood. Masculinity for me, gets
talked about a lot in the world we live in now.
For me, masculinity comes in many different forms, and I
(40:59):
think this is just a little topic and conversation about
my search for masculinity because I searched so hard for it.
I examined my masculine world so much. I feel like
I know really well and I think I've learnt a
lot of lessons in that, which is pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
Great.
Speaker 5 (41:13):
When you told me this, I believe we were having
a sawna slash cold plunge, and somehow media got it
as well that you weren't gonna be.
Speaker 4 (41:23):
How do I say this safely on radio?
Speaker 19 (41:25):
Choking the Chicken?
Speaker 3 (41:26):
You weren't going to release before Paris?
Speaker 19 (41:34):
Yeah, so I did that before Tokyo, and I did
it for I would say I can't remember exactly the ant.
It was about six or so weeks, right, And like
I think the biggest thing for me before a major
event like that is like when you say you're going
to do something, start small, like throughout the process. It's
the three months prep. So it started with meditating every day,
and then it was ad you read ten pages of
(41:55):
book every day, and it just grew and grew and grew,
and then the last one was no releasing for the
last six weeks before Tokyo, and I said, I did
six weeks. I need to do more to make sure
I win the gold medal. It was a long three
three months. I think it was just on the three months.
It was a long three months. Obviously I went out
of comp early, which was frustrating. I thought it was
(42:16):
going to be to the end, but it was. It
was challenging and the performance after was very poor. But
that's still part of the journey, isn't it.
Speaker 5 (42:26):
And is it as much of a like a party
scene as everyone talks about, like the Olympic village and
as soon as athletes have finished what they had to
have to do, it's just done.
Speaker 19 (42:34):
It's definitely changed a lot because because I don't know
it was COVID that changed it. But like after your event,
most sports have to leave.
Speaker 6 (42:43):
For hour.
Speaker 19 (42:44):
Grace boxing goes for two weeks. So we stayed here
the whole time, even though I was out early, so.
Speaker 3 (42:50):
Were allowed to stay. But did you want to stay
because all.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
The mail was just that the beds were horrific.
Speaker 19 (43:00):
Yeah, has it been, for sure? But it's the media.
It's just always like that. It's like what what bleeds
leads or something that leads?
Speaker 3 (43:05):
Oh yeah, yeah I have heard that.
Speaker 19 (43:07):
Yeah, I was a great experience walking around Jess Fox,
Paennymill some days, Brodie Campbell.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
I'm a sporting fan howbo is that.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
I don't want to leave that, so you got to
So you were relishing the time there, So what are
you doing if you're not competing in the village getting fat?
Speaker 4 (43:25):
Did you still wear like your boxing kid around? Doesn't
make it look like you were still competing to say.
Speaker 19 (43:29):
I did just to find the opponent. I lost her
in the dining hall. I just wanted to get that.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
I was going to ask that, actually, did did you
see him around?
Speaker 2 (43:37):
I didn't know you annoyed him at all because I
was watching that fight because he was he played the
game haunting you executed it so well. Yeah, there was
what do you know what? Talking about what is a
good friend of yours? And we rocked up and what
he was like losing it and I was like, I
never get angry. He was furious, and I said, you
kind of got to respect the craft a little bit there,
like he literally he's gone out there to get in
(43:58):
your head.
Speaker 19 (43:58):
Especially after losing the first around, like he made the
adaptations and then in the second round he was doing
all this and he was growing in confidence, and I
felt like consciously, spiritually just the gold medal just like
falling out of my hands and I couldn't get into
my body to grab it. I was just like watching.
Speaker 3 (44:13):
I was like, oh, what.
Speaker 19 (44:15):
Like nine minutes goes so quick.
Speaker 4 (44:17):
Yeah, It's like I couldn't.
Speaker 19 (44:18):
It's like I was in sleep paralysis. I was like,
I couldn't grab it. I was like, oh, it was
just falling. I was like, oh my god, oh wow,
it was happening from my eye.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
And he and has he's growing in confidence. You're kind
of steadily diminishing, diminishing.
Speaker 4 (44:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 19 (44:31):
Yeah, So that's that's boxing. That's the nature of nature
of the beast. And the one thing, the one thing
that I've taken from it is just like, always be
the man in the arena. Always set big audacious goals.
When I started this journey, I never thought that I
would be capable of winning it. But through the journey,
I got to the level of believing I could and
I got into the best version of myself over twenty years.
And I think it's important to set big, audacious goals,
(44:53):
but your results don't change who you are as a person.
But always set massive goals and do everything you can
to achieve well.
Speaker 2 (45:00):
To quote another boxer, I think Muhammad Ali said, if
you're not if you're not scared of your dreams.
Speaker 3 (45:05):
You're not dreaming big enough.
Speaker 19 (45:08):
I always want to try and grow into the best
version of myself always, and I don't always live off
so that we're not perfect. I'm floored as like, there's
times where I'm beeping at someone in traffic, sticking with
your finger up and I'm like, this is part of
a Sometimes you're not on but like Tria best.
Speaker 5 (45:20):
Yeah, of course, all right, what's next step? Like, obviously
you said you want to go out in the bush
by yourself.
Speaker 3 (45:26):
And twenty weeks mate, no chicken choking.
Speaker 19 (45:28):
Yeah, not there, I've said to myself, trying not to
think about it for.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
A moment, But I don't see any girls just chilling
out for a bit.
Speaker 19 (45:33):
Yesterday I was sitting from half the day. I was like,
I'm lost, and for the first time of life, I've
never woken up and known where I'm walking to or
what I'm doing. And we associate lost with a bad thing.
When you lost as a kid, or you lose your teddy,
it's negative, it's bad. But being lost, you have the
opportunity to go on to an adventure and find something.
And I don't know what I'm finding. I don't know
what treasure I'm finding, if it's boxing direction or if
(45:55):
it's something else, but I'm excited to go on that
journey and find something.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
Mate enjoy the mystery. So good. Final chat for the
week now, is Lee sALS.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
Our mum's favorite person?
Speaker 3 (46:09):
Is it? Both of our mum's favorite person?
Speaker 5 (46:12):
I think this comes with a particular a bit of
sweetness for us, Like, so it's exciting to have someone
in the studio who our mum's respect. Yes, I mean,
I'm not sure if this works for you as well,
but it certainly does for me.
Speaker 4 (46:23):
My mum doesn't listen to this radio show. No, she
openly says to me, not for me, don't enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (46:28):
Well, I told her that at that time, I went
home to mum's house and we weren't on the presets
on her radio, and Mum listens to a lot of radio,
and I was like standing in the kitchen and she
was like, oh, yeah, you're number three, and I wasn't.
And then I was like, am I on the second
line of Presepts?
Speaker 4 (46:43):
I wasn't.
Speaker 3 (46:44):
Yeah, And it does it?
Speaker 4 (46:46):
But both of our mums.
Speaker 5 (46:48):
Worship Lee Sales, And it felt like we I mean,
we loved Lee coming in and we wanted to talk
about a new TV show, but it did feel a
little bit like we had an extra grind about the
fact that really.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
Bubbled at didn't it.
Speaker 2 (47:02):
Train story was the reason that I was never allowed
to watch my TV on Monday nights because Mum always
too racy.
Speaker 18 (47:07):
Yeah yeah, those stopless intocy too. Yeah, we get a
lot of complaints about that. I thought about moving the
time slot so that I could get around things.
Speaker 2 (47:18):
We were just it was just on it's prime time
Monday night viewing and Mum it was like the one
night of the week where Mum was just like.
Speaker 4 (47:24):
Bess off.
Speaker 3 (47:26):
Much straight.
Speaker 18 (47:28):
She's a woman of impeccable.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
But you kind of because I said that to my
brother the other night, I was like, his mums still
you know, fetching after his train story, and he was like, yeah,
He's like, Lee Sales is dictus from both ends because
she used.
Speaker 3 (47:40):
To get us at seven thirty on them.
Speaker 18 (47:44):
That's how I make my career choices, actually, Like what
could really dickerd and then your mum gets on the
blow achievemy and had your plan?
Speaker 3 (47:52):
That's right?
Speaker 4 (47:54):
What time is that?
Speaker 18 (47:56):
Worries I'm coming for YouTube. Surely you won't be able
to pick up off scroll without me appearing.
Speaker 4 (48:02):
Just get a drive radio show and you never hear
our radio show.
Speaker 18 (48:08):
It's going to be a mum takeover of the al.
Speaker 2 (48:11):
She would love that. I think every mum would love that.
Seven Oh my God, is purer than the driven Snow.
Speaker 4 (48:19):
Do you know what?
Speaker 18 (48:19):
The weirdest thing happened to me the other day? So
I was at the cinema with Annabel Crab saying Deadpool
and Wolverine, which I've been hanging out to see, right,
I love Deadpool, And so we get to the front counter.
When I walked in, Annabel Crabb didn't recognize me. I
was wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses and she didn't
clock it was me, Like I saw a look at me,
shed away. I was the only person in the cinema.
She just can't know I was like dressed like that deliberately.
Speaker 9 (48:41):
No.
Speaker 18 (48:41):
No, I just made to the gym so and it
was hot and I had some glasses on. So I've
gone in. Crab looks all right at me, looks away,
and I thought she just didn't recognize me. So I
walked right up from it. Mate, it's meat. We go
to the front counter. She's babbling away to the dude
after not recognizing me. The dude who looked about seventeen,
as he's like dishing out the tickets, goes just randomly,
have of the blue, you're a fan of the Marvel universe,
(49:04):
Miss Sales. I was just like, I was almost specious.
I went, I really like Deadpool. And as we walked away,
crab goes, did you just get Miss Sales?
Speaker 17 (49:19):
How on earth did that dude?
Speaker 18 (49:21):
He's not in the standard you know, Mum?
Speaker 3 (49:23):
No, no, no, he slipped.
Speaker 18 (49:27):
I think he's in your position. That the poor dude.
Speaker 3 (49:29):
Yeah, he's TV blocked on a Monday night exactly.
Speaker 18 (49:32):
It's his mother.
Speaker 5 (49:34):
And we see how much our mums worship you that
in a weird way, we try to emulate you as well.
Speaker 4 (49:40):
One day mum will love me as much as she
loves Lee Sales.
Speaker 18 (49:44):
With that, I don't hate me. When all your inheritances
come to me, Oh no, reading him with the will
and I leave all my jewelry to Lisa, You'll.
Speaker 4 (50:01):
Be like, God, damn, that's sales.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
She's back sales, and you'll hold the will on seven
on a Monday night as well.
Speaker 4 (50:11):
A TV show.
Speaker 18 (50:12):
We'll be holding it up high because my fingers will
be dripping in your mum's believe, holding the scripts up high.
Speaker 17 (50:19):
You like these boys.
Speaker 3 (50:24):
Sales?
Speaker 7 (50:25):
Again?
Speaker 18 (50:25):
Think I'm wasted in serious.
Speaker 3 (50:27):
Content stating your jobs. Yeah, stay in your lane, Stay
in your lane. This is the last hope for anyone
right here.
Speaker 18 (50:39):
Do you keep inviting me back?
Speaker 3 (50:41):
It's a good boy.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
Hey, let's talk about the show because it's called The
Assembly eight thirty ABC and Ivie fascinating concepts. So I'll
let you explain actually rather than me trying to paraphrase.
Speaker 18 (50:50):
Okay, So it's a group of fifteen autistic people and
they range in age from about eighteen to forty five,
and they as a group interview a celeb pretty sports person, politician,
and I work with them along with some experts from
a Quarr University, to teach them about the basics of journalism,
and then I mentor them one on one, you know,
(51:11):
just sort of help them work out what they want
to ask and also mostly to just give them a
bit of confidence to do it because a lot of
these people have been badly bullied in their younger years.
It's really impacted their confidence a lot, and so partly
I felt like it was my job to say, you know,
that's a really good question. I think that'll be really interesting.
I think the Prime Minister would like to be asked
that and to try to give them a bit of
(51:31):
bit of I see.
Speaker 3 (51:34):
So, have you got any connection to, like a personal
connection to autism at all.
Speaker 18 (51:37):
I do know people who are autistic and have a
family connection, but I have never had to wrangle fifteen autistic.
Speaker 3 (51:45):
Right, Okay, how did it go? It was great.
Speaker 18 (51:50):
It was the most delightful project because everyone kind of
has no agenda. They're just purely interested and curious about things.
And also, I think when you're in our line of work,
you meet a lot of people and so it's easy
to become blase like, oh, you know, Delta good rooms
coming in or some says coming in, and then every
single time they would be like, I can't believe meal
(52:12):
a question. So that energy just reminded you, Oh, we're
so lucky, like we have such an interesting job. So yeah,
it was just fantastic. And then the questions themselves, because
they don't have neurotypical brains, they phrase questions slightly unusually
which often elicits a really good response. So one of
one of my favorite questions is this guy Dylan asked
(52:35):
Hamish Blake, how much money do you have? In dollars
and cents?
Speaker 2 (52:42):
It was so good, so specific, and for him, I
imagine Dylan, there's no that's not crossing a boundary.
Speaker 3 (52:51):
That's curious the facts.
Speaker 18 (52:53):
Absolutely no, I want.
Speaker 4 (52:54):
To know this, And how did Hamish go wiggling his
way out?
Speaker 3 (52:59):
You know?
Speaker 18 (53:00):
But he was so great and that This was the
other thing and one of the things that appealed to
me about the format because the people asking the questions
are so sincere, and there's no agenda, and they're so
kind of warm and friendly. You look really poor if
you try in any way to not responding kind and
so you kind of just have to be very sincere
and direct yourself. And so Hamish, to his great credit,
(53:22):
just when basically, look, I've been I've been really lucky.
I'm not going to lie, I've got millions. He's just
direct and then everyone just moves on.
Speaker 2 (53:31):
They just because there's not a big deal for the question,
it's not a loaded questions judgment about him.
Speaker 3 (53:38):
He's just like this. And then so for the person
who gives the answer.
Speaker 2 (53:41):
They don't have any sense of guilt or shame around
it because there's no judgment.
Speaker 18 (53:47):
It's very like a very warm kind of you know,
I hate this term, but safe space.
Speaker 5 (53:52):
Sam Nils he's the one being interviewed tonight, and he
gets asked, how do you get so many girlfriends?
Speaker 7 (53:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 18 (53:59):
And then the cheeky little bugger Dale tried to set
me up on a date with him. They meant to
run all their questions, asked me to check if they're okay,
and so Dale gets up and goes Sam. I did
some reading about you and I saw that you used
to go out. This is after Sam had already been
asked how do you get so many girlfriends? I saw
that you used to go out with an Australian journalist.
(54:20):
We've got our own single Australian journalists here. Would you
consider going on a date with? So good? And Sam
are just like, oh my god? The ground would like
And then every week, like ever after, every time I
would arrive to do the training, everyone be like, have
you even Sam gone on a date?
Speaker 7 (54:42):
And it was great?
Speaker 18 (54:44):
They were absolutely awesome. By the end, I just loved
them all so much, like it was just a fantastic
thing to work.
Speaker 2 (54:50):
Well, it's a sharp spread of guests, so we've got
as you mentioned, the prome in is Anthony Alberane, Adam Goods,
Amanda Keller and Delta Gudrum as well as Yeah, your boyfriends.
Speaker 18 (55:01):
And one of my other favorites is one of the
girls Abby called the Prime Minister the whole time, Anthony Anthony.
It was just absolutely god just.
Speaker 2 (55:11):
To throw back to your seven thirty days she was
inspired by learned from.
Speaker 17 (55:18):
I know how to do.
Speaker 3 (55:20):
You either date them or you grill them.
Speaker 18 (55:25):
With those two, I don't want to get it around.
Speaker 3 (55:30):
It's so good to have you in the studio. Thank
you for coming in. Oh look brilliant, Hey, good luck
with the show.
Speaker 4 (55:37):
So it's tonight.
Speaker 2 (55:38):
Yeah, it's eight thirty ABC and I View. For all
those mums that want to kick their kids off the TV,
you can get it on I View. Spare a thought
for those kids. It's called the Assembly. Okay, So we're
going to finish today with.
Speaker 3 (55:57):
My hope bit of the week. I don't want to
give this too much context, but at.
Speaker 5 (56:02):
Some stage during the show and EP Captain poo Pants
and he does this a lot.
Speaker 4 (56:07):
He came in and drew a sneaky dickenballs on my
notes and this this, this pooey.
Speaker 6 (56:13):
You do this.
Speaker 4 (56:14):
You do this multiple times daily.
Speaker 9 (56:16):
I tried it at least three.
Speaker 5 (56:19):
And the real boon for you, or the wind for you,
is when you manage to draw a dickenballs and I
don't notice.
Speaker 9 (56:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So I might be explaining something to you.
Speaker 19 (56:27):
Will.
Speaker 9 (56:27):
I can look from where I stand and draw the
d n B. I can eyeball will so it looks
like I'm doing work. Do it without looking, then sneak
it under your eyes.
Speaker 4 (56:36):
You do it well.
Speaker 2 (56:37):
I don't know, by the way, I do know that
that's what you're doing, Like you've kind of explained that,
Like you pulled off a bank heist. I managed to
get in there, draw a dick and balls, have a
conversation with the conversation you always have in me's like, so, mate,
what's on for the weekend? And I'm going to see
your hand, like I know, I know what you're doing.
Speaker 4 (56:54):
It slight of hand or you get me a lot.
Speaker 5 (56:57):
But on this particular day, I caught you, and I
caught you mid mid dick and ball, and I and
I commented on the way that you drew your dick
and balls.
Speaker 4 (57:05):
I was like, interesting technique.
Speaker 5 (57:07):
And then I mentioned the fact that there's a distinct
lack of pube there and I questioned whether you had
the pube. And anyway, we had a we have a
weekly segment called Freedom Fridays, and that was coming up
and I joked and I said, Haha, I'm gonna I'm
going to pitch how do you draw your dickenballs? As
(57:27):
like as a joke. I was like, I'm not I'm
not being serious that that obviously seems over the top.
And anyway, what you'll hear in this audio is that
when we get into the bid, I go to pitch
something else and will you you just take the ball
and go no, no, no, no, no, surely we're doing
how do.
Speaker 4 (57:43):
You draw a dicken balls?
Speaker 3 (57:47):
Yeah, it was brilliant.
Speaker 2 (57:49):
We take our life, Hi guys, is it We're going
to chance to take over the airwaves as they used
to call it back in the day. Basically, we pitched
a lot of ideas every week. The producers them to
filter these ideas. They go through legal, they go I
don't know who else they go through, but just they
(58:10):
don't get through. I mean particularly the good ones produces
for some reason deem them unfit for our show.
Speaker 3 (58:16):
It feels weird, doesn't it.
Speaker 2 (58:18):
But anyway, we've contractually managed to guarantee a small part
of the week where we can just pitch whatever we
want and they can't choose what we do.
Speaker 3 (58:28):
It's just you and me here, baby, like the old days.
Speaker 5 (58:30):
It's perfect and let's get around each other. Oh kick
things off here. So I was out having to drink
with below decks. Asia, who people may or may not.
Speaker 3 (58:39):
Know, start with a bit of a name.
Speaker 4 (58:40):
I love that, bloody people in people in.
Speaker 3 (58:43):
I thought you were going to do.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
How are you going to enjoy your dickenballs? You're not
doing that because you you were bandying that about off Mike.
Speaker 4 (58:56):
I'm going to do a late pivot here.
Speaker 14 (58:58):
You guys can hear the Asia story next week, because
that's actually good and we should do that. He's the
question everyone that I think it'd be great because there's
a lot of polarizing views between everyone and the team here,
to be fair of unspoken to a few people.
Speaker 4 (59:11):
But how do you draw your dicking balls?
Speaker 3 (59:19):
We all do it.
Speaker 4 (59:21):
We obviously, we all do a cheeky dicking balls.
Speaker 5 (59:23):
I do now I known now amazing. Now I'll kick
things off here. Poop pants all in one, one movement.
Speaker 3 (59:29):
The whole the whole thing, the page.
Speaker 2 (59:31):
It was like a bit of a challenge me some
something you do an art class, draw your hand without
your pen leaving the learned art class.
Speaker 3 (59:38):
Poop pans that technique.
Speaker 9 (59:39):
It's just efficiency. I like to get in there as
quickly as possible.
Speaker 4 (59:42):
Because you do it.
Speaker 5 (59:43):
You constantly do a sneaky dicken balls on my notes
and I don't know where it's come from.
Speaker 4 (59:47):
He sneaks in. He dicking balls is me.
Speaker 3 (59:49):
It's good producing. Really.
Speaker 2 (59:50):
I also think I think you have a new contract
that you require one anonymous dicking balls on your not today.
Speaker 3 (59:56):
He's just fulfilling.
Speaker 2 (59:57):
He's just fulfilling the quota, and you're doing well. The
other thing, I think you've raised a really good point there.
Poop Pan's raised a good point in that, in that
you do have to get in and out quickly. If
you're doing it, you know you're not drawing a leisurely
dick and balls. You know quite often it is some
sort of vandalism or graffiti, or you're doing it to
annoy someone who's got a crisp piece of paper or
a white board, white boy or a white board white
boar was always good and so you've got to be
(01:00:18):
in and out pretty quick. So I think speed's a
factor here for me.
Speaker 4 (01:00:22):
I get it speed. I think I can do this
quite quickly.
Speaker 5 (01:00:25):
Now I've just received a note from outside saying let's
referred to as a D and B from this point on.
Speaker 4 (01:00:29):
That kind of flies in the face of the whole
bit and calling it dicking balls.
Speaker 3 (01:00:32):
Wow, so love that Freedom Friday's baby idiots.
Speaker 4 (01:00:38):
Idios.
Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
I mean, they shouldn't have done and did there learning
this bit. Just don't train and rain it this in, guys,
we're going to go the other way.
Speaker 5 (01:00:45):
So let's just do this, I think. So I think
they hate it. They hate it, I hate it, which
I think is this is why we do this. Yeah,
thirteen one oh sixty five, guys, get involved.
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
We know you all do it.
Speaker 4 (01:00:55):
What's your technique?
Speaker 14 (01:00:58):
How do you draw?
Speaker 4 (01:00:58):
How do you draw a dmb? Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
You little, you little bit, get just say it, mate,
God you're bathetic and you draw a dick. I'm interested
in the variety because we've asked three people and everyone
does it differently.
Speaker 4 (01:01:14):
kV. Can you engage your way in?
Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
Yes?
Speaker 18 (01:01:18):
So the girls just talked about it very briefly.
Speaker 17 (01:01:20):
We tend to lean towards flowers.
Speaker 4 (01:01:23):
And love hearts as the dick and balls.
Speaker 18 (01:01:26):
As our little scribble.
Speaker 4 (01:01:28):
Sorry, I thought you were concealing it in a flower.
Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
That's it. You've never you've never drawn a dick and balls?
Speaker 16 (01:01:38):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
No, I have, But I mean, like you know, so
don't come in here with your high and mighty flowers
and love hearts when you have done it.
Speaker 4 (01:01:47):
Well, I think what would be really creative and clever
is if you hit it within a flower.
Speaker 5 (01:01:50):
I think that's that's fun because then you people think
it's innocent and you look closer and you go, hang
on a second, how many sure get creative with it?
Speaker 3 (01:01:56):
Plus or plus or five dick and balls in your lifetime?
Have you drawn?
Speaker 9 (01:02:02):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:02:02):
I don't know, Like is this really? Could you count
on one hand how many times you've drawn it?
Speaker 9 (01:02:08):
No? I reckon.
Speaker 17 (01:02:09):
I went through phases.
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
Very much. We finally we get here, we go, oh
my god, I've never never drawn or seen it.
Speaker 4 (01:02:17):
To give my life.
Speaker 17 (01:02:20):
They're more prone to draw flowers, and.
Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
I also like drawing the sun. But like at the
end of the day's sun with Sunny's.
Speaker 4 (01:02:29):
Sorry Kve. Does Matt draw d nbs around the house, No,
never never seen him do it. He is he is,
You'll find him. Josh, how do you go about it?
Speaker 3 (01:02:38):
Mate?
Speaker 12 (01:02:40):
There's only one way. It's the right way, Yes, one
swift movement. You go ball dick ball. Yeah, you got
to go back and at your little finishing touches.
Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
The texture from there.
Speaker 12 (01:02:55):
Dictation.
Speaker 5 (01:02:56):
Dictationation, very good, Josh, I like that. That seems to
be the classic me personally. I don't know where I
learned this or how, but I go, I shaft it.
Speaker 4 (01:03:06):
Left ball, right ball.
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
Nob to Finn, I see, I'm a ball ball shaft
guy for some reason.
Speaker 4 (01:03:18):
Weird you go balls first.
Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
Really, I just kind of orients me a little bit. Anyway,
Finns called.
Speaker 4 (01:03:25):
How you go about it?
Speaker 11 (01:03:27):
Yeah, you guys, I'm bald dick ball exactly the same.
Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
Maybe a guy maybe down the bottom.
Speaker 19 (01:03:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
Afterwards, that's yeah, that's putting in.
Speaker 4 (01:03:38):
That's your second draft draft sort of things.
Speaker 3 (01:03:40):
That's that's when you put your yeah you do. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
Think we're due for a female voice, l J. You
you put your hand up for talking about your technique.
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
I can't comment on these cards, right, you drawn one
before though I've probably seen one.
Speaker 3 (01:04:03):
What is with this high and mighty attitude out there?
Speaker 7 (01:04:06):
It's not high, am I? I just got for the tits.
Speaker 3 (01:04:12):
One saw that gumming.
Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
Alright, So final bit of the week, I mean, very
tempting to finish on dick and balls, but.
Speaker 5 (01:04:24):
Can I sorry, can't greg this out. Yes, we had
like hundreds of people sending us in dick balls. Just
they just kept poor digital USIC kV just getting sent
people's people.
Speaker 4 (01:04:35):
Somehow, I don't know how to know.
Speaker 2 (01:04:37):
It sounds like she's getting not picks there, no digital
music kV, just getting thousands of dick picks. As a
result of that, they were showing her how to draw
draw Here's how I do my dick.
Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
The poor girl, and she's gonna just gonna put up
with a lot. But it was actually really funny. Yeah,
to watch all of you. And I'm sure there are
some people listening right now who sent in how they
draw a DNB And we appreciate that. It was pastating.
We really did enjoy that. Now let's let's let's wrap
things up.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
I've got a little treat for you here woulds you
in particular, because I've heard this audio and I think
it's worth you hearing it. Okay, and at least played
me some audio on her phone the other day.
Speaker 3 (01:05:21):
Now do you feel okay playing this? I'm not you
feel a bit mortified about it.
Speaker 15 (01:05:23):
I feel okay. I'm just also like, I don't want
anybody to not date me because of this.
Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
My God, I reckon, I reckon, I reckon. Everybody is
You're a much higher chance of being dated because of this.
Speaker 3 (01:05:38):
To be honest, this is.
Speaker 4 (01:05:39):
Real and always be you, AB. Don't change you because
of this idea that you need to be exactly. Don't
change you because you are. You are perfect the way
you are.
Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
Right here we go, AB, Oh God, let it all right?
So AB, I think you just need to give the context.
There's an app, yes, that records you when new sleep?
Speaker 4 (01:06:00):
Is that right?
Speaker 8 (01:06:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (01:06:01):
I have this app on my phone that's records you
when I sleep, and I'm one I do sleep talk,
so like, that's why I got the app. But there
was some other things that got picked up during my
sleep that I wasn't anticipating, and they're a bit of
a laugh between me and my friends. I'll just like,
I'll record myself when I go to sleep and then
I'll save my craziest voice notes and just send them
(01:06:25):
to them.
Speaker 4 (01:06:26):
Yeah, so I am so excited. Let me share this
is so, this is you just on a standard night sleeping.
Speaker 15 (01:06:33):
Three point thirty nine am.
Speaker 4 (01:06:47):
You wake up and it's like a baby.
Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
Myself to be like oh yeah, yeah yeah, And that's
what I got to. Two I am the same day.
Speaker 7 (01:07:09):

Speaker 15 (01:07:13):

Speaker 8 (01:07:22):
Here's another one that's a big one.
Speaker 7 (01:07:30):
It's like it was me.
Speaker 15 (01:07:32):
I think that was my friend because we were all
in the same room.
Speaker 4 (01:07:35):
That whatever, my friend, my mate.
Speaker 15 (01:07:44):
Anyway, I promise I don't do that ever, never happens.
Speaker 6 (01:07:49):
It was.
Speaker 4 (01:07:51):
I love the first taking.
Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
My note is very strong.
Speaker 1 (01:07:55):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:07:58):
It sounds like one of those drums sounds that first one.
Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
First one sounds like one of those you know, like
when you're watching like a Dennis Villa nerve.
Speaker 3 (01:08:11):
Maybe you know I'm saying, June, you're not drown that
properly goes wow, can give me.
