I can tell you Deshaun Watson is losing his job.

He's not going to be the starting quarterback in Cleveland. Right,

Ye from the beginning, we told you Jamis Winston is
going to play the majority of the games here barring
injury in Cleveland because Deshaun Watson A is no good
and B They're not going to go through another season
where the team plays well but the quarterback position holds
them back.

Gone on so far with it with the Cleveland Browns,
That's exactly what's happened. Right, And then you had this
from today Deshaun Watson's press conference, which is part for
the course for everything he has said throughout his time
this season, and before he gets asked about, uh, would
they call more running plays for him as a quarterback,
and he said, no, no, I don't.

I don't do it. I'm not a running back.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
I'm a quarterback, not doing it, not doing I'm not No,
I'm not going to ask them. I'm only going to
run if i have to. Oh gee, that's great. Thanks
a lot to Sean. Thanks for saying, hey, you'll do
whatever it takes for the team to win.

Then he gets asked about why he missed a wide
open receiver on on a big fourth down throw.

And here was Deshaun Watson's answer on.

Because other people are not in the film room, so
that not everyone knows exactly what the red was.

That was a decoy.

So that's the difference. Everyone can pause the tape and say, hey,
you know, he should have thrown a here, should have
thrown a here. You know, every quarterback deal with that.
So if you choose one play and that's that's the
play out of the whole game that everyone is calling,
and so be it. It is what it is. You know,
no one's in those feminom. No one is making those decisions.
So I go based off of what is Ken Dorsey

and Kevin Stefanski is saying. And you know, on that decision,
they made a good play. They got jammed up on
the slant. That's what we did the previous time when
we scored a touchdown. I did the same as that
reed And I hate Jerry, So did I see it
wrong with then?

off what Kevin and Keann is making those decisions and
how they're great.

Open receiver because he was a decoy, and that's why

now it no longer matters whether Deshaun Watson is right
about this this decoy thing or not, because you just
look at his answers when he talks about, no, I
don't want any more running plays.

Like he's done, you should not be surprised at any
of what's been going on with Deshaun Watson. He has
seemed detached from football since he came back. He signed
the big contract, and he has been detached from everything.

I heard Dan Patrick say he plays sometimes like a zombie,
and that's a great analogy. But overall, everything he has
ever done, whether it's on the field, whether it's an
interview after, whether it's a press conference, he seems detached,
like I really just don't care about this and this
is not going to go on any longer because things

are not reversing. Deshaun Watson basically was given the hey,
this is your last chance last couple weeks after opening
week of the season. This was, Hey, you need to
pick it up now. This is the wake up call.
And he's not nearly been good enough the last couple
of weeks. Right at certain spurts. He's been a little
bit better here and there, but overall you're not getting

anywhere what you need to near what you need to
get for him. And the fact is that Brown's fans
have had it, the team has most likely had it,
and if they make a change, no one's gonna care.
No one's gonna care that, Oh, we paid him all
this money. It's gonna be finally we got somebody in
and maybe you can start building some positivity towards a team.
There's no energy about this team. There's no positivity. There's

no hey, we got it, We're close. This is we're
watching a quarterback who just doesn't seem to care as
much as you need to, and we're watching to go
out there every week and underachieve. We can't keep doing that,
and it may be after this week. It may just
be one more game, but they have to make a
change because they can't give the season away. We're still
in the mid to late part of September. I told
(10:25):
you by week five ish, we're gonna see Jameis Winston.
This might be it. This might at some point the
Browns are gonna say, we just can't do it where
we're gonna lose every game, We're gonna lose the team
because if we don't make a change a quarterback, the
rest of the team is gonna quit because they're gonna say,
if he's.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Not trying, I'm not trying.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
And then suddenly we're in one of those awful seasons
where we're just exing off the days till the end
of the season, and there there could be changes and
coaching changes and all kinds of crazy stuff could happen.
So they know they're gonna have to do it for
the team, and I tell you it could be after
this week. This certainly didn't do him any favors with
what he said about how, yeah, I don't want to
run unless I have to. Oh sorry, sorry, I'm sorry.
(11:02):
You know you want to do what it takes to win. Sorry,
if I forgot that about you.

Just unless it's from massage.

It's not even about the massage. This is about what
he is as a quarterback, right like that. Stuff's gone
like that, stuff's gone from a few No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no no.

There's still there's still one pending. Don't you remember it's
still pending. No no, no, no, it's still pending. But
this is But you don't even have to get into that.
This is about what's going on on the field, and
he's been terrible.

To get to the whole. Hey, what's going on? Look,
we told you off season. They'll do it, and they'll
figure out the money in a few months. They'll figure
out the money in February or March, whatever it is.
But they can't keep going. So Deshaun Watson, I mean,
maybe one more week he'll start. But the Browns are
gonna have to say, they're gonna have to swallow. They're
gonna have to swallow their pride and everything else that
goes along with it and take a deep breath and say,
(11:47):
we're making a change a quarterback and this is the
change for the season. And not only that, but Deshaun
Watson won't even be around the team. He'll be someone
that you know, you're you're, you're you're deactivated and you're
inactive and you're away from the team for the rest
of the year. Yeah, this treatment, and it's gonna happen soon.
It's gonna happen in the next week or two. This
is the way it is going, and it's not gonna
be reversed.
Speaker 5 (12:07):
Three straight games under two hundred yards passing for the year,
completing just fifty seven point eight percent, and you can say, well,
Nick Chubb's out there, you don't have the balance. Ford's
averaging five yards of pop on twenty nine carries, Foreman's
at two point nine.

Watson himself, he's actually carried.

The ball fourteen times success rate six yards per carry
as he scrambled and made plays with his legs.

But you know, the answers are terse And I.

Think this is interesting because just like you and I
were talking about Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars aren't sexy. Nobody wants
to talk Jaguars football. We do it because look, there's
thirty two teams. He's a former number one pick, and
everybody annoyed at him as the chosen ones, so he's
fair and right for criticism as well.

For Shaun Watson, I get it. It's an unsavory topic
to go through, even if.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
You just leave it at the football like, it's still
in your brain and burned in your brain. Everything in
the past and all the allegations and the piling up
of them that any other quarterback would get more heat
against what he's put on the field. But it's all right.
The Browns were supposed to be good, but they got
that guy, so they don't even.

So, well, we'll pick up that chore and do it
here as we did before the season. You got a
good roster. A bunch of these guys are gonna need
to get paid in short order. Nick Chubb's gonna come
back and give you another boost to what Jerome Ford's
already done in your offense. You can't waste years right

saying eventually it'll get right. How long a sample sized
do you a get? They say, well, it's only been
fourteen games. Fifteen games over several years, right, he's held
your organization hostage based on the bad contract given by
Haslam and the front office that is assembled there.

All the things they did right really butchered this one.

That it's held you hostage and from moving forward because
with the adequate quarterback plays like your Jets last year,
with adequate quarterback play, who.

And right now they're doing the same thing you You
would think a loss to the Giants that everybody thought
was the worst team in the world. Oh, by the way,
they should be two and one and they're gonna beat

That would be the wake up call to just say, hey,
we need to turn to page.

But when you play against teams that are actually really tough,

defensive side. Right now, the defensive tackles are not very good.
Parsons doesn't want any part of contact. So this is
just who they are, who they are. I mean, they
were very fortunate that, I mean, John Harball last week.

In that game, I really didn't understand the third and
three pass when when Derek Henry is going for like
one fifty and you got you got Lamar Jackson, and
you're going shotgun putting the ball up in the air
on third and three with eight minutes left, Like what
are you doing? I mean that allowed that game to
become artificially closer because they scored there, they get the

But that game should have been a fourteen to twenty
points win easily for the Ravens. That game was not
close in any way, shape or form. The Cowboys are
incredibly disappointed at this point. I'm here and enough said.

I'm not sure that the Bills are any better as
a serious contender than they were before, but they're you know,
they're the next best team in the AFC after Kansas

the area. And that obviously is a series that has
a whole lot on the line in regards to the
NL Wild Card picture, as does what's going on between
the Braves of the Dodgers right now. Dodgers are headed
home three to two in the fifth inning, Showio Tani
breaking up a two to two tie with an RBI
bas knock in the form of doubling in a runs.

So the Dodgers have the lead. Padres are at bat.
Padres have won five in a row and they continue
to play really good baseball. So do the Diamondbacks five
to one there in front of the Giants, that is
in the seventh inning. Diamondbacks holding that final spot of
the three in the NL wildcard race, but just a
half game lead of the Braves, who, as mentioned are

actually just now a game behind the Mets for that
second NL wild card spot. So a lot to still
get figured out here in the last couple of days
of the regular season, some of the finals to get
to Guardians over the Reds five to two. Royals win
three to nothing against the Nation, so do the Tiger
seven to one against the Rays. Those are significant outcomes

because the Tigers and the Royals are tied for second
in the AL wild card pictures, so they're in the hunt.
Yankees had a chance to win tonight and they would
clinch the AL East Division.

That's exactly what's happened. Right, And then you had this
from today Deshaun Watson's press conference, which is part for
the course for everything he has said throughout his time
this season, and before he gets asked about, uh, would
they call more running plays for him as a quarterback,
and he said, no, no, I don't.

I don't do it. I'm not a running back.

I'm a quarterback, not doing it, not doing I'm not No,
I'm not going to ask them. I'm only going to
run if i have to. Oh gee, that's great. Thanks
a lot to Sean. Thanks for saying, hey, you'll do
whatever it takes for the team to win.

Then he gets asked about why he missed a wide
open receiver on on a big fourth down throw.

And here was Deshaun Watson's answer on.

Because other people are not in the film room, so
that not everyone knows exactly what the red was.

That was a decoy.

So that's the difference. Everyone can pause the tape and say, hey,
you know, he should have thrown a here, should have
thrown a here. You know, every quarterback deal with that.
So if you choose one play and that's that's the
play out of the whole game that everyone is calling,
and so be it. It is what it is. You know,
no one's in those feminom. No one is making those decisions.
So I go based off of what is Ken Dorsey

and Kevin Stefanski is saying. And you know, on that decision,
they made a good play. They got jammed up on
the slant. That's what we did the previous time when
we scored a touchdown. I did the same as that

Like he's done, you should not be surprised at any
of what's been going on with Deshaun Watson. He has
seemed detached from football since he came back. He signed
the big contract, and he has been detached from everything.

I heard Dan Patrick say he plays sometimes like a zombie,
and that's a great analogy. But overall, everything he has
ever done, whether it's on the field, whether it's an
interview after, whether it's a press conference, he seems detached,

are not reversing. Deshaun Watson basically was given the hey,
this is your last chance last couple weeks after opening
week of the season. This was, Hey, you need to
pick it up now. This is the wake up call.
And he's not nearly been good enough the last couple
of weeks. Right at certain spurts. He's been a little
bit better here and there, but overall you're not getting

anywhere what you need to near what you need to
get for him. And the fact is that Brown's fans
have had it, the team has most likely had it,
and if they make a change, no one's gonna care.
No one's gonna care that, Oh, we paid him all
this money. It's gonna be finally we got somebody in
and maybe you can start building some positivity towards a team.
There's no energy about this team. There's no positivity. There's

no hey, we got it, We're close. This is we're
watching a quarterback who just doesn't seem to care as
much as you need to, and we're watching to go
out there every week and underachieve. We can't keep doing that,
and it may be after this week. It may just
be one more game, but they have to make a
change because they can't give the season away. We're still
in the mid to late part of September. I told
(10:25):
you by week five ish, we're gonna see Jameis Winston.
This might be it. This might at some point the
Browns are gonna say, we just can't do it where
we're gonna lose every game, We're gonna lose the team
because if we don't make a change a quarterback, the
rest of the team is gonna quit because they're gonna say,
if he's.

And then suddenly we're in one of those awful seasons
where we're just exing off the days till the end
of the season, and there there could be changes and
coaching changes and all kinds of crazy stuff could happen.
So they know they're gonna have to do it for
the team, and I tell you it could be after
this week. This certainly didn't do him any favors with
what he said about how, yeah, I don't want to
run unless I have to. Oh sorry, sorry, I'm sorry.

You know you want to do what it takes to win. Sorry,

It's not even about the massage. This is about what
he is as a quarterback, right like that. Stuff's gone
like that, stuff's gone from a few No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

There's still there's still one pending. Don't you remember it's
still pending. No no, no, no, it's still pending. But
this is But you don't even have to get into that.
This is about what's going on on the field, and
he's been terrible.

To get to the whole. Hey, what's going on? Look,
we told you off season. They'll do it, and they'll
figure out the money in a few months. They'll figure
out the money in February or March, whatever it is.
But they can't keep going. So Deshaun Watson, I mean,
maybe one more week he'll start. But the Browns are
gonna have to say, they're gonna have to swallow. They're
gonna have to swallow their pride and everything else that
goes along with it and take a deep breath and say,

we're making a change a quarterback and this is the
change for the season. And not only that, but Deshaun
Watson won't even be around the team. He'll be someone
that you know, you're you're, you're you're deactivated and you're
inactive and you're away from the team for the rest
of the year. Yeah, this treatment, and it's gonna happen soon.
It's gonna happen in the next week or two. This
is the way it is going, and it's not gonna
be reversed.

Three straight games under two hundred yards passing for the year,
completing just fifty seven point eight percent, and you can say, well,
Nick Chubb's out there, you don't have the balance. Ford's
averaging five yards of pop on twenty nine carries, Foreman's
at two point nine.

The ball fourteen times success rate six yards per carry
as he scrambled and made plays with his legs.

fair and right for criticism as well.

saying eventually it'll get right. How long a sample sized
do you a get? They say, well, it's only been
fourteen games. Fifteen games over several years, right, he's held
your organization hostage based on the bad contract given by
Haslam and the front office that is assembled there.

In that game, I really didn't understand the third and
three pass when when Derek Henry is going for like
one fifty and you got you got Lamar Jackson, and
you're going shotgun putting the ball up in the air
on third and three with eight minutes left, Like what
are you doing? I mean that allowed that game to
become artificially closer because they scored there, they get the

on side kick, and they make it interesting at the end.
But that game should have been a fourteen to twenty
points win easily for the Ravens. That game was not
close in any way, shape or form. The Cowboys are
incredibly disappointed at this point. I'm here and enough said.

doesn't have to worry about Diggs in his ear all
the time or not, I don't know. But the whole

Digs thing did become tiresome a year ago, and they
weren't spreading the ball around the way they need to.
I'm not sure that the Bills are any better as
a serious contender than they were before, but they're you know,
they're the next best team in the AFC after Kansas
City right now, and they got a fighter's chance in

as fallen faster from a point of he could have
been one of the top five quarterbacks the league. And
I know, but I know there have been injuries. But
so much of this is self induced, you know, the
behavior in Houston, all his faults the decision to go
to a place that he didn't want to play in

simply because of the money. You know, I understand you
take the two hundred million dollars guaranteed, but in your
heart of hearts, he wanted to go home and play
in Atlantic. You should have done that. You should have
followed your followed your passion because you would have enjoyed
it a lot more and you would have put more
effort into it, and you would have liked it more.

And this is I say this to guys all the time.
Don't find a place that you're comfortable, that you want
to play that will make you more energized. He's in Cleveland,
like he is the Why part of Cleveland, and so
you know, it shows. It shows in the way he plays,
It shows in the work they's put in, it shows
in his dedication to his game. I mean, I don't

know between him and Trevor Lawrence, who's who's sort of
falling faster. I mean, it's probably Deshaun Watson because there's
so much off the field garbage. But those two guys
were supposed to be, you know, faces of franchises and

remainder of this WNBA postseason, as her fever got bounced
by Way but sweeping the first round of the Yeah,
first round of the postseason. The Sun got the better
of the Fever in this game to eighty seven to
eighty one, and Kaitlyn Clark did not come out of
the game forty minutes twenty five points. She almost single

handedly worked her team back into this. They actually took
a late lead, but they could not hold on to it.
She went ten of twenty three from the floor, including
three of twelve from three point range. In the world
of Major League Baseball, that Braves met series that still
has two games that is moved into a double header.
They have made that a doubleheader going off on Monday

because of a hurricane coming up in some rain in
the area. And that obviously is a series that has
a whole lot on the line in regards to the
NL Wild Card picture, as does what's going on between
the Braves of the Dodgers right now. Dodgers are headed
home three to two in the fifth inning, Showio Tani
breaking up a two to two tie with an RBI
bas knock in the form of doubling in a runs.

So the Dodgers have the lead. Padres are at bat.
Padres have won five in a row and they continue
to play really good baseball. So do the Diamondbacks five
to one there in front of the Giants, that is
in the seventh inning. Diamondbacks holding that final spot of
the three in the NL wildcard race, but just a
half game lead of the Braves, who, as mentioned are
(31:43):
actually just now a game behind the Mets for that
second NL wild card spot. So a lot to still
get figured out here in the last couple of days
of the regular season, some of the finals to get
to Guardians over the Reds five to two. Royals win
three to nothing against the Nation, so do the Tiger
seven to one against the Rays. Those are significant outcomes
(32:04):
because the Tigers and the Royals are tied for second
in the AL wild card pictures, so they're in the hunt.
Yankees had a chance to win tonight and they would
clinch the AL East Division.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
And they could not get it done.
Speaker 8 (32:19):
Albeit a fifty seventh home run a Major League Baseball
leading in the season, fifty seventh im run from Aaron Judge,
but still Orioles nine to seven winners against the Yankees. Lastly, guys,
I want to mention this, Mike Harmon's White Sox. Yes,
being off history again is what they're saying. A walk
off to beat the hapless Angels. How does that make

Well, I mean, look, they're staving off elimination and infuriating
the fans. They got another eighteen thousand people out there
tonight waiting for history, and they all were pissed when
the White Sox won.

I think the A's might be upset as well. They're
fans because they're playing their last home game. They're down
five to one against the Rangers. Bottom the six and
Jason Mike aus I get it back to you. Reports
of fans taking seats from the stadium. I guess that's
a sign of love or maybe none.

No, I just signed this something I want to steal. Like, well,
let's put it this way.

I mean, I gotta think the stadium has been decrepit
enough that it wasn't really hard to work the bolts
to get the chairs up.

picked them up and took them with them. They're just legos,

I did Colisseum seats.

Yeah, and there are Colisseum seats for sale, but it
was it's it's memory.

It's the La Memorial Colisseum seats. They were selling for
usc for a second.

Someone had taken those seats from the from y open

you know, fans are taking their own souvenirs. Players want
to take their own stuff. I mean, maybe maybe somebody

Should be able to put that in a zoo.

But uh, this just came to us courtesy of Bob Nightingale,

Six security guards are chasing a man with a stolen
stadium seat outside the Oakland Coliseum.

Now we're talking, dude stole a seat and.

Now six guards are chasing him to get him to
bring him back.

just security guards falling down and tripping over each other.
And then at one point the guy stops and sits
in the seat and people just think he's sitting there,
run by him, and then he gets up and he
walks on the seat again, like that'd be the best

way to hide.

I round the corner. I just sit, No, we do.
I'm just sit into the seat like he's hanging out
waiting on the bus. Yeah, I'm just waiting. Then they
then they run by and he picks up the seat
and walks away. It's like straight out of sixties comedies.
Just rip it up.

It's like Tim Conway and Harvey Korman bit from back
in the day.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
Oh you know you think they're Jason real quick? Yeah,
we got Frostberg. Do you have to.

Realize like people in Oakland have been training like for
this their whole lives, like it's the Olympics.

Well, at least the last couple of years a have
when they knew the team was moving. Alright, we got

That's gonna be one of those stadiums where they'll take
pictures the day after the regular season ends in baseball,
and you're gonna go, oh wow, how long has this
thing been abandoned for it? No, this is day after
the season, but people are still working there.

It's like they should just rent it out right now
as a Halloween place. Man, create a couple of mazes
in the hallways in a way you go, oh, I
forget about going to a theme park. I thought you
meant just put like a spirit Halloween sign on.
Speaker 6 (39:08):
Oh you could do.

That too, man, that's I thought that was too low hanging.

this just looks glorious. But I can really see the
guy rounding a corner, sitting down on the seat, and
the security guards with their batons out and they trip
over each other. It's going down like it's the Three
Stooges and they fall down the steps and the guy's
just sitting there like eating a corn dog, like watching

them all go by. He just picks up the seat
and walks the other way.

I keep I looked up Oakland Stadium chair and there's
a cool bobblehead that they made a satchel page and
he's in a rocky chair.
