you know, it's it's dance dad season. So Mike, my
hand is dance and my first daughter, the first one,
is performing today. She has to be on super duper early,
so I couldn't actually, you know, come to the studio
because I want to see her perform. Like I'm really
into it, Like I knew the rope, the routines. All
I gotta do is just learn how to do make
up in here and then I'll be like the official official.
Speaker 6 (00:45):
And then you gotta throw the tuohue on. And you
ever see the dads that like throw the tuosue on
and then fully commit.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
You just said, you know the dance moves. Come on me,
come on, I'm not the gay dad, Girl, the girl,
good dad. I'm just the girl. The dance dad.
Speaker 7 (00:58):
You know.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
He's dancing so early in the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
And the crazy thing is that they had to take
off school because this is competition, so school, and they've
been up since five am getting ready because they got
to get My wife just said four they've they've been
am and we're all in the same hotels, so we're
in each other's space, and I don't like it. Well,
I have to blow out the back because I got
my other daughter in the back sleeping because she don't
get onto Later on your credits.
Speaker 6 (01:22):
Business size of a mini village. I mean, that's what
you gotta get. You gotta humble yourself a little bit
for the hotels, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Yeah, it is, it is what it is. We all together,
We all together, we thuging it out. But today on
this show, we got little Real. Little Rell will be
joining us. We got a new movie called dog Man,
so we'll be talking a little real. And also ees
TG he has a new album, I'm feeling myself.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
What's called I'm not feeling you.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
I'm not feeling you, I'm not feeling that a new album. Yeah, yeah,
So We're gonna be kicking it with E. S. T. G.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Of course from Kentucky. You know what you know as
a comedian.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Just do you feel like Rell doesn't get the credit
he deserves because I just feel like he's never put
him They never put him in that category.
Speaker 6 (02:03):
I honestly feel like he just ain't been out long
enough like to be in a category. And then it's
different categories, right, But I think what Ral's thing is
like he would like to be in the category of
the greats, like you know, the the Martins, the Bernees,
the you know, the Eddie Murphy's, and he hasn't, like
I would just say, to my opinion, in my opinion,
(02:24):
he hasn't put in enough work to be actually to
be on that list.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Now it's other lists that he can.
Speaker 6 (02:29):
Be on because the Brothers, you know, he's funny but
yep and talent said, great writer, you know, producer and everything,
but just not he haven't put in enough time to
be on that list with the greats, you know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
So you're talking Eddie and yeah, yeah, Dave, Yeah, I
don't know.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
Now a lot of people make that list that I
don't know how the hell, they get on there. But
but I rather the not be on the list and
somebody wondering.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
How I got there type situation. You found me, so yeah, yeah, okay,
all right, well let's start the show. We got front
page news.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
We're gonna be breaking everything down and then get it
off your chest. Eight hundred and five eight five, one
oh five one. If you need to vent, something's on
your chest, something's on your mind, call us.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Up right now. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning everybody.
It's DJ, Envy, Jess, Hilarius, Charlamagne, de God. We are
the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Let's get in some front page news.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Good morning Morgan, Good.
Speaker 8 (03:26):
Morning Envy, Jess, CCG not here.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Oh no, okay, well let's go today. Okay, well, let's
get into it.
Speaker 8 (03:34):
Anyways, guys, More details are surfacing about the mid air
collision between the Army helicopter and an American Airlines flight.
Officials have confirmed that all sixty seven people aboard the
both the Army helicopter and the American Airlines flight from
Kansas were killed in the crash over the Potomac River
near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Now President Trump spoke
(03:55):
on the matter twice yesterday, the first time during a
White House press briefing with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, American
Airline CEO, and other transportation officials. The President blamed previous
administrations for the crash, suggesting that diversity, equity and inclusion
policies lowered the standards for air traffic controllers. He also
spoke later in the afternoon after he signed executive orders,
(04:17):
one of which he appointed Christopher Rochelieu as the acting
FAA administrator. Let's hear more from Trump those comments from
Trump on the crash yesterday.
Speaker 9 (04:27):
On behav for the first Lady, myself and three hundred
and forty million Americans. Our hearts are shattered alongside yours,
and our prayers are with you now and in the.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Days to come.
Speaker 9 (04:37):
My administration will set the highest possible bar for aviation safety.
We have to have our smartest people. It doesn't matter
what they look like, how they speak, who they are
matters intellect, talent, the word talent where I'm also immediately
appointing an acting Commissioner to the FAA, Christopher Rochelieu, a
(04:59):
twenty two y your veteran of the agency, highly respected.
Speaker 8 (05:03):
And when asked if he would visit the crash site.
He responded by saying visit what? What do you want
me to go swimming? No, So he implied that he
will not be visiting that crash site. He said that
the positions require complex things air traffic controller, and if
people don't have a great power of the brain, they're
not going to be very good at what they do,
(05:24):
and bad things will happen. He did go on to
say that he will try to well. He said he
will restore Americans' faith in air travel. Reverend Al Sharpton
is blaming or slamming President Trump for those DEI comments.
Sharpton was quick to denounce the President, saying his remarks
were callous, a callous disregard for human life at a
(05:46):
time when first responders are still pulling bodies out of
the Potomac River. The civil rights activists also said Trump
is trying to use black, brown, LGBTQ, and disabled Americans
as scapegoats elsewhere. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy was also in
that White House press briefing. I'm saying the investigation is
still in its early stages and will be exhaustive. He
did reassure Americans that airline travel is safe. Let's hear
(06:10):
more from Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Safety is our expectation.
Speaker 10 (06:15):
Everyone who flies in American skies expects that we fly safely,
that when you depart an airport you get to your destination.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
That didn't happen last night.
Speaker 10 (06:27):
And I know the President Trump, his administration, the FAA,
the DOT, we will not rest until we have answers
for the families and for the flying public. You should
be assured that when you fly, you're safe.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
What do you think, Envy, I mean, I think it's
so crazy. I mean, you know, Trump is the president
for the.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Next four years, but I think he should be leading
with empathy, right and understanding, Like if he's for America
like he says he is, he should be leading with
his heart. And the fact that he was using this
to talk about DEI just sounds nasty. Just think about
all those families that you know, lost family members, lost mothers,
lost sisters, brothers and uncles and grandfathers, and they turn
on the TV in their head or this was thee
(07:07):
I's fault. I mean, you should be coming from a
place of understanding and sadness and empathy and then talk
about what happened after that.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
It's just it's just very nasty.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
And then how are you supposed to feel safe like
something like that happens? You know, I know they talking
about keep harping on the fact that you know air
travel is safe.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
It's like, how are we supposed to feel safe after that?
Speaker 11 (07:25):
Right?
Speaker 6 (07:25):
Like I traveled for a living, how or anybody just
how somebody supposed to feel comfortable getting on a flight.
They can't even tell us, begin to tell us what happened,
or even take blame or any anything.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Now for real, I was gonna say the craziest thing
with the air air traffic control and flights, I thought
that was the safest, right because I thought that's where
they're always checking. They're always telling planes when to go
higher or lower, when the land, when not to land.
I always felt that was a lot safer than being
on the road. But it's seeing with all these accidents
or near accidents or plane's clipping each other and all
(07:55):
these things happen, it seems like a lot. It's a
lot of they have to do a lot more research
and action into what's going on on that those planes.
Speaker 5 (08:04):
Yeah, so to your point MV.
Speaker 8 (08:06):
A preliminary FAA report reveals that staffing at the air
traffic control tower was not normal during the mid air
collision near Reagan National Airport. Multi Multiple Multiple reports site
a source saying staffing was not normal for the amount
of the air traffic and the time of the day
NTBs NTSB, which is the National Transportation Safety Boards folksperson
(08:29):
todd Enman says, they're collecting information about the personnel in
the tower. You know, whether or not they were fatigued,
you know how long they've been working. They're really doing
their due diligence in terms of the investigation. But they
do say it is too early to speculate on what
may have led to that collision, so of course I'll
bring you those details as they arise. Furthermore, the two
(08:49):
black boxes from the collision have also been located. NBC
News reports that a source with knowledge of the investigation
say they were recovered on Thursday. Now they are reportedly
on their way to the NTSB Safety Board Lab, where
they will undergo an investigation, a crash investigation, and a
report will be ready within a month.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
It's what they're saying that sounds crazy.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
There's certain jobs you just can't skimp on, right, Like
you shouldn't skimp on air traffic control, right, you can't
skimp on all doctors and medical assistance. You can't skim
for certain jobs firefighters, a police officer. So the fact
that this is a airport and not a small airport
like Reagan is huge. Like I had to run through
Reagan the other day and I felt like I got
my steps in, I felt like I ran a couple
(09:30):
of miles.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Like it's a huge airport.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
In the fact that they didn't have the necessary staff
to man all these planes, that's the biggest problem.
Speaker 8 (09:37):
Yeah, it's very very scary, very yeah, very very scary,
like they said, But you know there the officials are
reassuring that air traffic or air safety, air travel is safe.
So well, we'll talk more about I was gonna say,
we'll talk more about some other things.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
At seven o'clock hour.
Speaker 8 (09:55):
I was just like, it's so much going on confirmation
here and you know, vaccines and some more stuff.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
We'll talk about it.
Speaker 6 (10:00):
And did you see when they bad when they interview
the guy who's in charge of the FBI, they we
all get six hour long interview, tell right, heah, that's
who we have running the FBI anyway.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yeah, we'll get to it. We're gonna talk about him too.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Praise on that all right, everybody else, Get it off
your chest eight hundred five eight five one oh five on.
If you want to vent on this Friday, call us
up right now.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. It's
a new day. Is your time to get it off.
Speaker 12 (10:30):
Your chest, whether you're mad or.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Black, time to get up and gets something. Call up now.
Eight hundred five eighty five one five one. We want
to hear from you on the Breakfast Club. Hello, who's
this yo?
Speaker 11 (10:44):
Dad from the port?
Speaker 3 (10:45):
What's up?
Speaker 11 (10:46):
Brother?
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Get it off your chest?
Speaker 11 (10:47):
Man, Yeah, I just wanted to talk about them playing clashes.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Man.
Speaker 11 (10:50):
That's one of the main reasons why I don't fly
from thirty five. Ain't never been on a plane and
really don't care to get.
Speaker 13 (10:56):
On the plane.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Yeah, but not for nothing.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
You know, majority of accidents are on the road and
not actually in the air. They're saying that the air.
Air flying is the safest way to travel. My dad
is the same way my dad and it's crazy because
my dad was in military. He fixed helicopters, he fixed planes.
He just not get on planes, not for nothing. He
will drive to California if he had to. He is
not getting on the plane.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
But you know.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Planes.
Speaker 11 (11:22):
My brother is supposed to be getting married in Mexico.
Speaker 13 (11:24):
Man, I told my girl I drive.
Speaker 11 (11:25):
Down there because I don't really want to fly. Yea,
God didn't give me wings, so you know, I don't fly.
Don't do no flying.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
You're gonna drive to Mexico.
Speaker 5 (11:35):
Here of heights.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
I'm like, you ain't driving to Mexico.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
You might as well start now. You start now if
you want to draw to Mexico, start right now.
Speaker 11 (11:42):
Hey, I'm gonna go ahead and get on this road.
Speaker 13 (11:43):
I do a lot of traveling anyway.
Speaker 11 (11:45):
I'm a welder from North Carolina. I had a woman
tea for a city. All right, brother, do a lot
of traveling anywhere. Yes, sir, y'all enjoy your day, you two.
Speaker 3 (11:55):

Speaker 2 (12:00):

Speaker 6 (12:02):

Speaker 14 (12:02):
Man, So I was walking yesterday. Uh you know, I
had a uh, I had the the go, you know,
on a walkway and you know, so I'm going and
some guy cuts me off and then flips me off. Like,
what's that about?
Speaker 2 (12:18):
He cut you off and then flick flicks you off.
Speaker 14 (12:21):
Yeah, he cut me. He cut me off and then
slipped me off. I was walking, you know, I had
the I had the arrow, the walking arrow, and he
cuts me off.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
That's never happened to you.
Speaker 14 (12:33):
I mean, you know, listen, people have come you off,
but not swipping me off after that. I mean, I
had the right away.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
He must have really bothered you.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
The fact that you're thinking about it on a Friday
morning the week in his head. That guy flipped you off.
He gave you the middle finger. You should have mooned
him when he drove off.
Speaker 6 (12:49):
Right, So, like life, every day I do that to somebody,
you know, I gotta.
Speaker 14 (12:55):
Tell you, you know, I could have I could have went.
Speaker 13 (13:00):
The other way.
Speaker 14 (13:00):
I chose not to, and uh, you know, I just
want to get off my chest. But I just wanted
to tell you I'm a big fan, and uh, you know,
keep up, keep on doing what she's doing. You're uh,
you're good, and I love the breakfast club.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Think thank you.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Let me just ask you what was the other way
you could have did with them? Just curious what you
know somebody flipped you of what could you have done?
Speaker 3 (13:20):
I'm just curious.
Speaker 14 (13:21):
Oh you know I could have. I could have easily
tried to you know, okay, trying with them.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
But all right, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Shot him like that.
Speaker 6 (13:30):

Speaker 4 (16:21):
That time to set it it off.
Speaker 5 (16:22):
Is that updates on a set, Yeah, we do.
Speaker 7 (16:25):
So.
Speaker 17 (16:25):
Yesterday in court, acept rally back on the stand again.
But this day was different because now he was being
cross examined. So Attorney Tukapina, who is Acep's attorney, is
firing off.
Speaker 9 (16:36):
Like.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
It was really intense yesterday in the court.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
It was.
Speaker 5 (16:38):
It was given like housewives back and forth. Yeah, it was.
Speaker 7 (16:42):
It was.
Speaker 17 (16:42):
It was a lot that surfaced online. One of the
biggest not even one of the biggest things. There were
a few big moments. One of the big moments was
there have been a lot of text messages that have
been floating around and just being brought up in court.
When we had first heard about these text messages, they
were from basically kind of like Raley side right, like
really is uh is having a conversation with Asap and
(17:03):
he's accusing Asap of trying to set him up, trying
to take him from his daughter.
Speaker 5 (17:07):
Asap replied replies, I try to do what I know
you hate me. I hate you too, and.
Speaker 17 (17:12):
Then Asap tells him, you know you're making stuff up,
and then Acep even accused is really in these text
messages that we first saw of trying to extort him,
like doing all this for money? Right, But yesterday in
court ASAPS attorney is like, hold on, there are some
additional text messages that we found because we have ACEPS
phone that you didn't disclose and we didn't talk about.
(17:33):
So according to allegedly and according to ACEAP side of things,
there were text messages in Relly's phone that he deleted
before he gave his phone to police. Let's take a
listen to really on the stand.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Do you see the text.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Message that you said at fake?
Speaker 3 (17:51):
Is fable?
Speaker 13 (17:51):
So fake?
Speaker 3 (17:52):
I've never seen you.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
Don't even write like that, just would not write you.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Is this supposed to be working parading in with sir?
Speaker 3 (18:00):
No, sir, that's you writing to Luck You why did
you delete that from yourself phone before.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
You talking to a footballforcement?
Speaker 13 (18:10):
How do you stop?
Speaker 18 (18:13):
Did you did you delete text from your cell phone
because I handed over to Did you delete it?
Speaker 7 (18:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Okay? Your question? What did you delete that stream before
you turn your phone.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
On footba enforcement? May?
Speaker 18 (18:31):
I deleted his whole message and that's why he propped
up a whole new one.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
He's asked you why you don't I don't Remember.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
It's funny with this this case. Every day I feel different.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
Yesterday he sounded very upset, he sounded very confrontational, he
sounded very frustrated, and he sounded like a liar. So
now if the jury's looking at him, and I think
they even got into a staring contest where they almost
got into.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
A fight in court and the judge was like, hey,
what are you doing really?
Speaker 1 (18:55):
So now if I'm a juror, I'm looking at really like, well,
is he the one that's the problem, because cool and calm,
he looked like they aggressive exactly.
Speaker 17 (19:03):
And I think yesterday that was like ACEPS teams like
that was kind of one of the I don't want
anybody to go to jail, but that was one of
the best things that they could have done, because.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
Before this it looked like, yeah, favorite Rocky.
Speaker 17 (19:14):
Because before this it looked like, Okay, you acet Rocky,
you got influenced, you got money, you know, you can
do things and get away with it. Yesterday it looked like,
oh no, he was defending himself envy, so what you're
talking about?
Speaker 5 (19:24):
There was a point where.
Speaker 17 (19:28):
Really and Asat were I guess really felt like Asap
was like grilling him or whatever.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Staring at him. He said, yeah, he's staring at me.
Speaker 7 (19:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (19:36):
So this was after the judge called a recess, so
everybody's getting up, they filing out, the cameras are going down.
So a lot of the reporters in the court were
tweeting about it. I don't even think that I saw
this moment. I was watching it live. So really walked
by ACEP and he addressed them, and from what reporters
heard in the court, they said that he said to Aceap,
you brought this on yourself. And the judge like told him, like,
(19:57):
y'all need to stop it, and then he was like, no,
he's staring at me. So it was like a whole
back and forth thing. And to tell y'all what the
text said, the text that were deleted said from Raleigh
to ACEP said, you got all these all this fake
animosity towards me, laugh out loud, beat me up, and
where I wish you would give me a reason?
Speaker 5 (20:13):
And where you've been You've been the P word, the vagina.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yes.
Speaker 17 (20:19):
And then that's when Asap responded back like where you at,
let's get it. Stop ducking my calls. And he's like, oh,
I'm in front of Traded Joe's. Before yesterday we only
saw acep text where you were at, let's get to it.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
I'm in front of Traded Joe.
Speaker 17 (20:31):
So things kind of turned around now, I said, and
where when I was reading this, because that was also
an issue in court yesterday too, because the attorneys, when
reading these text messages don't want to omit anything because
they don't want to make it seem like they're.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Trying to like changing anything.
Speaker 17 (20:44):
So they got to say the word and people were like,
wait what and even ASAP interrupted, let's take a listen,
except your friend.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Say I want to get this money right after the
shooting and this didn't go out spot right.
Speaker 9 (21:03):
Yeah, if there's any exhibventh or any.
Speaker 13 (21:07):
Courting that has any word I wanted to get in
court to say.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Any word, I don't want me to just say what said.
There's any word I can trust you from.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Now on.
Speaker 5 (21:22):
Anymore, just you say any So that's the judge telling
the lord like, no, I don't say it.
Speaker 17 (21:27):
Yeah, because basically what happened was as he was saying,
and it was had a couple of times in the
court at one point asap stops, and because.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
When we die hard they are no, he said, he said, yeah,
but he's.
Speaker 5 (21:39):
He's not black, So yeah, I mean, I'm just saying,
you know, I mean, but this has say in court
a lot.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
This is not Rocky's first go around. You know that
they have to do this.
Speaker 17 (21:49):
Yeah, but you can admit it though if the judge,
I guess they just want to make sure that's what
they needed to do.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
But Asad was like, yo, wait, can we not say
the word?
Speaker 17 (21:57):
And the judgment was like, all right, I want to
set the precedent that you when you read that word,
you just say in words.
Speaker 5 (22:02):
You don't you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Y'all find that crazy? Y'all don't find the fact that
they want to fight in front of trading. Joel's like,
where I get my cage?
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Three aids? That's what famous as hell? I go get
my one.
Speaker 5 (22:11):
That's they famous as heck envy and they in Beverly
Hills like.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Every wanted them to go meet at a giant like
we get my rugal look.
Speaker 17 (22:24):
Very important breaking news Rihanna. The first photo of her
in court came out yesterday.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
What's the next story, y'all?
Speaker 17 (22:31):
Look at the photov Can you see that it was
I was so disappointed.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
I'm like, this all we got.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
That's what I'm saying. The next story like wrap up.
Speaker 17 (22:42):
I cann't believe it was a draw. She looked good
though she looks like her. They they definitely did the
forehead no like no road.
Speaker 6 (22:47):
They tried it, trying to wed. Yeah, but this was
the first photo, so her blush. Don't beat this harsh,
you know, but it's but again, no one cares.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
People, do you?
Speaker 5 (23:00):
If you Google, people care, go on Google type Google
on like this.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Well man is facing up to twenty four years. Let's see.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
Well hopefully he doesn't have to do it.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
We'll Jesus, thank you all us jest with the mess.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Now when we come back, we got front page News
Morgan to be joining us, and then little RelA be here.
He has a new movie, dog Man, So don't go anywhere.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
It's the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Good morning, Wait, wake up, waol if you're like, enter
the Breakfast Club morning, everybody is tgj mdess hilarious, Charlamagne,
did you are the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Let's get in some front page news.
Speaker 8 (23:34):
Good morning Morgan, good morning, and the just hilarious and
happy Friday.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
To see tg wherever he at you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 8 (23:41):
Let's get into it, guys, a little bit more on
what's happening with this collision, the flight, the whole situation,
the whole shebang that happened out here at Reagan National Airport.
Speaker 5 (23:53):
Now, officials in wichital Kansas.
Speaker 8 (23:55):
They are waiting to learn how many of the victims
in Wednesday night's aircraft near Washington, d C. Were from
their community, Whichita Mayor Lily Wu says, so many people
have been impacted and they feel close with the DC community.
Following this incident in Kansas, Governor Laura Kelly says, it's
respectful to wait for the next of ken to be
(24:16):
notified before names of victims are being released to the public.
So let's hear more from those Kansas city Excuse me,
those Kansas officials.
Speaker 7 (24:23):
We feel very much connected to Washington, d C. And
feel this tragedy has impacted not just our community, but
their community and multiple others around the country and world.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
They're waiting for all the families to be notified.
Speaker 7 (24:40):
And there are some folks who are on that plane
who are from overseas, and so that's partially the reason
for the.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
Delay in regards to the delay.
Speaker 8 (24:50):
What she is talking about is the names in the
manifesto are excuse me, the Manifes passenger manifest that she
says could be released as early as this afternoon from
the NTSB Again, the National Transportation Safety Board against sixty
seven people are feared to be dead after the American
Airlines regional jet departed from Wichitau collided with an army
(25:11):
helicopter at Reagan National Airport. We will continue to send
our prayers to those impacted and bring you updates as
they arise. Switching gears. Secretary of Health and Human Services
nominee Robert F. Kennedy he was asked to explain some
of his statements in the past that black people have
better immune systems than white people in day two of
(25:32):
his confirmation hearings on at Capitol Hill yesterday, Kennedy was
questioned by Maryland Democratic Senator Angela also Brooks, who was
one of two black.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Women currently serving in the US Senate.
Speaker 8 (25:43):
She made up her mind after hearing his answers, let's
hear more of that exchange.
Speaker 19 (25:47):
We should not be giving black people the same vaccine
schedule that's given to whites because their immune.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
System is better than ours. Can you please explain what
you meant.
Speaker 20 (26:00):
There's a series of studies, I think most of them
Poland that show that the particular antigens that blacks have
a much stronger reaction. There's differences in reaction to different
products by different rates.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
So I have seventeen seconds.
Speaker 19 (26:18):
Let me just ask you then, So what different vaccine
schedule would you say I should have received that? What
different vaccine schedule should I see?
Speaker 20 (26:28):
I mean the Pallen article suggest that blacks need fewer antigens.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
This is so.
Speaker 19 (26:37):
Mister Kennedy, with all due respect, that is so dangerous.
Your voice would be a voice that parents would listen to.
Speaker 5 (26:44):
That is so dangerous.
Speaker 19 (26:46):
I will be your nomination because your views are dangerous
to our state and to our country.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
What do you guys think about that? That man is
one cough away from being Jimmy Cotton stupid?
Speaker 3 (26:56):
Right now?
Speaker 2 (26:56):
You stupid?
Speaker 3 (26:57):
You stupid.
Speaker 6 (27:00):
That's the only word I could hear was blacks. He
knew how to say that, you know, but that is
just crazy. How you could how you could say that, Like.
Speaker 8 (27:09):
Yeah, he's basically saying that science shows that, you know,
black people have a certain level of antigens compared to
white people and that we should be or and by we,
I mean black people should receive vaccines different than on
a different schedule or a different level than that of
white people. I mean, so basically, yeah, black people are
no stranger to you know, a lack of trust in vaccines.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Right.
Speaker 8 (27:34):
So, I don't know what he's saying, whether or not.
I'm just looking for the science to actually prove and
back up what he's saying.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
That rhetoric is so dangerous, right when you start talking
about that, and then you start going back to when
we were when we had to get the vaccine, and
we would look at our communities, in our communities with
some of the last ones to get the vaccines. Our
communities were one of the ones where we had to
fight to get to the vaccines. Our community was the
one where the vaccine wasn't easily available.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
About it.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
When you start hearing things like that, you understand where
these people are getting this information for.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
But it's false.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
It's a lot and and the fact that the person
that's running that department is saying this, that's scariest issue.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (28:12):
Yeah, and it's just seems like medical racism, like like
what I don't know if I just made that up.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
But that's the me I'm with you, though, I'm with
you one thousand percent.
Speaker 6 (28:21):
It's like Dangel, that's even more dangerous than just regular racism.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Like what are we talking about?
Speaker 3 (28:27):
No, for real?
Speaker 6 (28:28):
For real?
Speaker 2 (28:29):
I mean we're marginalized enough as is. Like, please not
in the medical field too, healthcare?
Speaker 8 (28:35):
Come on now, oh man, lord, let's switch gears real
quick to law enforcement.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
You know, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (28:41):
How do we feel about that?
Speaker 11 (28:42):
Well?
Speaker 2 (28:42):
Cash Hotel.
Speaker 8 (28:43):
He was also a Capitol Hill before senators yesterday as
he is selected to lead the FBI. He spoke about
his family history and actions regarding law enforcement, needing to
be clear, let's hear his comments.
Speaker 21 (28:55):
Sitting here today, I carry not only the dreams of
my parents, but also the hopes of millions of Americans
who stand for justice, fairness, and the rule of law.
My father fled idiot means genocidal dictatorship in Uganda, where
three hundred thousand men, women and children were killed based
on their ethnicity just because they happen to look like me.
(29:16):
The public trust can only be restored if there is
full transparency.
Speaker 8 (29:20):
So he did go on to say that he does
not agree with the commutation of any sentence of any
individual who committed violence against law enforcement in regards to
Trump's pardoning of January six ers. So he is trying
to separate himself from that, which is a good thing
because the FBI and the Department of Justice should be
separate from that of the president. But will again, we
will continue to see he was a little snappy in
(29:40):
his h.
Speaker 6 (29:41):
Yeah, he was going to mention a lot of questions,
you know, especially about when it came to him lying
for the president.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 6 (29:46):
He was just going around a bunch of quere He
would not answer the question they had in neerd to
be snappy.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
So that's your front page news. I'm Morgan, would happy Friday.
Speaker 8 (29:55):
Follow me on social at Morgan Media and from more
news coverage, follow Black Information Network, download the free iHeartRadio app,

Speaker 2 (30:04):
All right, thank you, Morgan.
Speaker 6 (30:06):
As y'all know, Charlamagne is out to day. So if
y'all got somebody that y'all trying to give donkey of
a day, to call up right now. One eight hundred
and five eighty five, one oh five to one, give
out your own donkey of the.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Day everybody else.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
When we come back, Comedian a Little Rail will be
joining us. He has a new flick out called dog Man,
and we're gonna talk to him next. So don't go anywhere.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
It's the Breakfast Club. Good Morning, the Breakfast Club, more Thing.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Everybody's DJ n V jes Hilarish, Charlamagne the guy. We
are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest in
the building. He's the dream killer ladies and gentlemen he hates.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
He is bigger than big backs and ald ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
First of all, that's not true. Look, I'm just saying
like because people, you know, everybody when they see me, like, man,
you know you lost way, you look good what you're doing.
And then I started listening things off, like yo, I
stopped drinking, I did this, I did that, and then
they just be staring at me. So now I'm just
really honest. So big dude just asks me the hallway,
you know what I'm doing?
Speaker 3 (31:02):
I told him.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
They just still looked at me because I can see
the grease staying on the jack suit, and I was like,
you ain't gonna do it. I can tell it hurt,
but it was I mean literally, I was like therapy.
I stopped drinking. This is a lifestyle I started five
years ago consistently, Dude. I literally get up every morning,
no matter what time, I gotta get up at least
go to the gym for a hour. I got stuff
set up in my house. I go boxing three times
(31:25):
a week.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
It's like when you tell them, they be like, are
you really doing it? Doing it? So you work work yeah,
because they want you to say that you got the shot,
that's sure.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
Whatever, saying that's what that's that's it. Are you doing
the ozimpic. It's like no, and it's no distant nobody.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
But it's funny because people roast you with the ozimpic thing,
even though it's commercials. For like, people will go to
my page like and say, I do workouts in like ozipic.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
That's all they're saying, Like, oh, I didn't do it,
but okay, brother, I gotta hurt though, because you actually
did it, like you talk about your processing now they
throw ozpic on you like I just told you about
some times a week and it used to hurt, but
it don't anymore because I don't understand how that's a
rose and they have commercials for it that say that
is what it's supposed to do.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
It's just like if I it's like you go penicilla
or pept the bismo, and.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
I've seen you over time and you didn't just wake
up like you have gradually.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
Just youve seen it.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
It was a process.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
It wasn't like overnight, I guess, like and then I
don't know, it was funny that didn't happen in the hallway.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
But just I'm proud of myself. This is the most
proud of, like happiest I think I've ever been, like, be.
Speaker 22 (32:27):
Proud of black people. Because back in the day, you say, damn,
real on crack age.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
They still say stuff like that. Damn they still go say,
you know, crack. But then I don't even understand what
this like, you know, after the chat, would think you
would just think people would just leave people to life.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
For real, Like you don't know.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
But if I look happy, damn, but people are so sad,
so they be like and it.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Does a lot of happy crackheads.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
So like if.
Speaker 4 (32:49):
Crackheads, crackheads was always skinny, like it was a dude
named Johnny Cash on the West Side of you.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Gottaga who had the biggest caf.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
He was just athletic, the most athletic crackheads because he
walked the day. Most crackheads in my era were in shape.
They really, you know, you're they was picking up, they
were shoveling, they were doing get the crack money, so
they was in shape.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
I never see the fat crack head though. You ain't
never see the fat one.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
And then the skinny ones was the ones, you know,
I think they had to be kind of already a
little skinny. And then it was, oh, I don't know if.
Speaker 16 (33:19):
I have never seen a dead one. All the crackcads
that I knew growing up still right now to this day,
to this day. Because crack, well, crack is fried cocaine. Yeah,
but it's like the cheap it's the cheap version of it.
I mean, that's what snowfalls.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Are we talking about?
Speaker 2 (33:34):
How do we get it cracks? What we need?
Speaker 4 (33:37):
I mean, honestly, I think some of this is cracked.
Like I don't, like, nobody know it was zip because
for diabetes and then people do it to lose well,
it's weird. You're the weird ass time.
Speaker 16 (33:47):
I won't say this though, I met you a long
long time ago. I had to talk to on m TV.
You came on there.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
You never looked up to me, like the way people
acting they are like like I was like, I was
level offer, don delawise, I was our sharp damn little
loss of weight till now on this you said, that's
(34:19):
what I need. I need to show up and do
more for people.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
We got no movie dog Man.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Now this children's movie Kids for the kids, dog Man,
dog Man about dog Man is amazing.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
Cartoon based is amazing, but it is kind of dog
Man ain't dark, but it's because you know, they put
their head together with the man. But it's a really
funny and fun movie. I got a chance to do
a Pete David Saon and kids are loving this movie,
and it looks like it's tracking to do really well.
So I'm excited to be in that space where we
do those cartoon movies that that really kill the box office,
(35:01):
and I think this is gonna be one of them.
Is the box office back? Yeah, for certain stuff. I
think family stuff is doing well. One of them days
is I'm proud of what that's doing. I'm in that too,
and that's good for comedy to comedy movies. And they
did a good job of that too, because they did
a good job of casting and just making it funny
because a lot of stuff just hasn't been really funny
funny for real again. I mean, that's what I'm doing about.
Like when I leave here, I started directing my first
(35:22):
movie that I'm starting in and Tiffany's in it, and uh,
I guess what I could do it all? Yeah, I mean,
I mean, we ain't got o pr budget, so I
might as well just say to start now. So Carlos
Miller got Carlos king Batch, Tony Baker. Okay, so this
is gonna be it's gonna be fun, Like I believe,
like it's time to start casting comedians for real in
(35:43):
these comedies again it's a comedy horror.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
There's one comedian you ain't named that be getting Busy
who's works just before I'm going I'm not doing that.
Don't do that.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Just also, just like if it was something I love, Jess,
so I know we're gonna work again.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
So yeah, absolutely, up. I love the time.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
And you were like great, Like I'm surprised you're not
begging you to do more sitcom that your timing and
everything was just natural and perfect.
Speaker 16 (36:19):
But it's not about to say cooms with black people nowadays,
I mean not always what you call a two camera
what they call it, uh multicam.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
Yeah, yeah, no it's not it's I mean, but you
still got like the Miss Pat Show, the Upshells.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
Yeah, so I think I just think we just gotta like,
we just gotta do it. I mean, Bounce got a
bunch of but don't yeah say nobody watching Bounce something
that maybe somebody will watch on it.
Speaker 4 (36:46):
No, I think it's time to like start downplaying those
places like the Bounces and all these different places, like
let's go there, Let's bring out material that we're trying
to get to these other spots. Go to the place
it's gonna accept your material.
Speaker 16 (36:56):
But it's a money thing too. I agree with you,
But you know we can't just go to these place
do charity. They got to have the budget.
Speaker 4 (37:01):
Well, the budgets ain't that great for the other stuff,
the big stuff neither. They cut everything, So you might
as well go to a place that's gonna let you
creatively do what you're supposed to do, do what you
want to do. That's why like two bees a lick
I love to.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
Oh no, no, don't proudly say you got a joke about.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
Yeah right, it's smart.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
I don't take no better comedy on the planet than
to be but the unintentions.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
So could you imagine if they had a really good
meeting with them, And that's one of the things I
approached them about. Like it's like, because I don't want
to just give them content. I'm like, yo, I want
to be let me be an executive over here. Let
me help with your literally, let me be let me
run your comedy, help bring the stuff in there. But
I'm trying to give them my special. I just shot
you know, I did a comedy festival last year and
I shot my special there. So I feel like two
(37:48):
bees a lick man.
Speaker 22 (37:49):
We got ninety four million million monthly viewers or some
crazy numbers.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
Like they got the viewer. Like that's why it's trying
to really like, if they're smart, just you literally could
do what Netflix did, just start taking in really good content.
Speaker 16 (38:01):
I want to do a breakfast club murder Mystery on TV.
One of my favorite shows on T is I want
to do a breakfast club murder Mystery. Yeah, okay, I
like this show called just what was on it? Call
I Got a story to tell. It's an apology series. Yeah,
you've seen the gas diation Piel episode with Young Jockey.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
And that was that was good.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
Ronnie Jordan was really good and hilarious.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
Yeah, all right, we got more with Little Real when
we come back, don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning,
want to everybody, it's the j MV.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
Just hilarious. Charlamagne and the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.
We're still kicking it with Little Real. Charlamagne.
Speaker 22 (38:32):
How has been engaged changed you?
Speaker 4 (38:35):
I'm cool, I'm chilling, you know. You just I'm not
in no thirsty place, you know what I'm saying. But
I was like that before I even proposed her. I
just got to a point where I was just like,
I just want to chill. I'm grown, I'm.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
Not you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
I like literally just love being around my girl.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
That's it. And it's your second time getting married, both
of us.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
Yeah, it's our second time around. So and we you know,
we ain't did it. Everybody, when you're gonna do it,
we possibly may have a reality show, and so we
may wait to do it and shot it on the show.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
Yeah, do you want to do that?
Speaker 4 (39:02):
Yeah, because what I want to do is actually people
to see the real conversation about it, because I don't
necessarily want to wed so she does. So we've actually
stopped talking about it so we can save it for
the show, so people could really see what this real
conversation is.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
Why don't you want to wedding?
Speaker 4 (39:15):
I think it's overrated. I think I talked about that
here one.
Speaker 22 (39:18):
Time, and by the way, that started a real conversation.
Speaker 2 (39:20):
I just don't lie.
Speaker 22 (39:21):
But just in everyday life, people was talking to me
about it.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
I think you said, the wedding of the marriage?
Speaker 14 (39:25):
What was it?
Speaker 22 (39:26):
Yeah, you gotta prepare what got to prepare for?
Speaker 4 (39:28):
Yeah, I think you should be focused on the marriage,
but also we should be I think we should treat
out of versaries like weddings.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
But how we going to celebration.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
It's like it's like for kids start school right here,
a freshman, we give them the graduation this freshman year.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
You don't know if this stay in school the hope
four years. Yeah, so that's what I said.
Speaker 4 (39:44):
I think we should take out of virtuaries, make those
the big celebrations are not the weddings.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
Now, when you say it like that, it's like you
spend all this money on the wedding and you don't
know how long it's gonna last.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
Yeah, I ain't been through nothing. It ain't nothing to
really celebrate. I think anniversaries deserved that energy.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Yeah yeah, yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 16 (39:59):
I like you said it last time, like put put
the nobody puts the thought in the emphasis into the marriage.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
What is this marriage?
Speaker 4 (40:05):
But what does marriage gonna be like like it did?
Like especially if y'all got through a tough year. Yes,
I want you more to celebrate me right, we did
it through a tough time, like celebrate an make anniversaries bigger,
spending all this money on these ways because now everybody.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
Break up so quick too.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
It looks just crazy.
Speaker 22 (40:22):
But how would that affect you? I guess the times
are so different now you can do whatever you want.
Speaker 16 (40:25):
I was about to say, how would that affect you
doing reality TV and still doing film?
Speaker 22 (40:29):
But I guess it don't even matter.
Speaker 4 (40:30):
I think nowadays because it's not just it wouldn't just
be more or less. The folks would be on her
because I think she's amazing and on like blending our
families and things like that. So like also too, it's
some fun to watch the way I'm moving in my
career too, So you know, it's a lot of things
people don't know. Like I really, man, I really been
on my business this season for me. This is the
season of business for me. So that's why I did
a festival, That's why I'm directing, That's why I'm producing it,
(40:52):
doing all this stuff I'm in boss Mo.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Now, did the Catiams thing motivate you to lose any
of the weight anyway?
Speaker 3 (40:57):
Nah?
Speaker 7 (41:01):
I was.
Speaker 4 (41:02):
I was more or less like when I saw get Out.
I didn't like the way I looked, but and it
wasn't necessary the physical part. It was just like, you know,
you could see how I know it was a great moment,
but I could see how sad I was. Even when
I was doing a real show, I was still trying
to figure things out. It wasn't until I went to
therapy for real shower Man and was like, damn, I
really buried so much that I didn't even know that
was buried. And then you come from the crib for Chicago.
(41:24):
Even some of the stuff that I grew up seeing,
I normalized it, and that was affecting me. So until
I went to therapy and really talked this out, I
didn't realize I had all that going on. I really
didn't that you.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
Can speak to that because you were you were very
reserved on set, like it was quiet you just like
there was a lot of pressure on me on that set, man,
And I didn't know.
Speaker 6 (41:44):
You as well as you know, like your friends knew
and all that type of stuff. But I could still
see you know, it was definitely do you had your
kids with you out there.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
It was a lot of things that you had to do.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
Also to you, I'm trying to make a show to
impress black people, which is so tough to do. Have mercy,
you know.
Speaker 1 (41:59):
I learned the big lesson from now you just got
to creatively do what you do because you're not everybody
always gonna find something wrong with something, you know what
I'm saying. So, like I learned a lot from doing
a real show. It's even just learning to like delegate better.
You know, a lot of times you saw me because
I was always thinking about what I had to do.
Speaker 4 (42:16):
So I learned a lot. I mean, like between once again,
between therapy and then owning a lot of stuff like
I do everything so much better. I'm a better person
on every set, on on I bring better energy. Even
that sometimes I was overdoing.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
My blackness sometimes like on sets like yeah, you ain't
gonna teake me what to say, you know and all that.
Speaker 4 (42:33):
It's like, well, you're doing too much. So going to
therapy made me literally overanalyze myself and own a lot
of my books.
Speaker 2 (42:39):
You want to Do?
Speaker 22 (42:40):
Was sad too, That's like, that's a very specific word.
Speaker 13 (42:44):
No, I was.
Speaker 4 (42:45):
I was hurting because I was going through a divorce.
Like ro I don't get out. It was Carmichael Show,
and so going through a divorce trying to figure out
you know, I think most dads don't talk about this,
but when you know the kids are with your mom
and they was with the mom and it was with
you and now you buy your self. Man, that's an adjustment.
And most of men don't talk about it, you know,
because everybody think, are you out here back? You know,
(43:05):
because most you know, the baby mom's like are you
here living it up? And then it like no, I'm
like laying in their rooms because I miss them, you
know what. I'm sad because I don't have that energy
around anymore, you know what I'm saying. So I was
really I was really sad, and I had to really
when I talked to my therapist about it, I had
to open up about stuff that I didn't even know
that was bury like that into.
Speaker 22 (43:23):
The outside world. That was your moment, like you know
you was having your big break get out, you know.
Speaker 4 (43:28):
But that's what kept me alive though Charlemagne was the
art performing kept me alive. Like if I had to
deal with what I was truly thinking about myself, I
don't know.
Speaker 16 (43:37):
Well, I'm sure you learned this in therapy. They say that,
you know, staying busy as a response to trauma. That's
what I learned.
Speaker 22 (43:42):
And I never saw you take a break.
Speaker 3 (43:44):
Nope. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
I mean if you think about that time I was
doing like this is big about it, like I don't
get enough credit, Like I'd be looking at it like
I was literally talking. I was doing the interview, yes,
and I was talk about how I saw one of
those pictures with all the comedians on there, you know,
like you know these and I'm like, how the hell
I'm never owned these lists, like.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
I have to get out?
Speaker 4 (44:00):
Did like thirty movie? How many stand up comics have
done that Witch specials and had a sitcom. So I
can't make none of these lists.
Speaker 3 (44:07):
Will tell me who the list is first? Now you
know what it is. It's the same people.
Speaker 4 (44:10):
It's the picture with with the greats on there, Eddie Richard,
the Kings, all those guys, Chris Day, Kevin, Eddie Griffith.
I saw Jay Farrell in there. They had Gerard on there, Martin.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
You know the list.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
But it's like, if you think about it, when you
look as totality as a resume, I don't know how
many of those guys, even the ones who's great, match
it with my resume.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
Why do you feel like they don't put you on
the list.
Speaker 4 (44:34):
I don't know. Sometimes I feel like either I've made
it look really easy because I mean like I'm still
a beast on stage, like it ain't like any audience
person to come see me lie, because sometimes I always
surprise my audiences because some of them only see me
in movies and they be like, damn, youre hysterical. I'm like, yeah,
I'm a really good stand up comic too.
Speaker 1 (44:51):
Is it because sometimes they look at you, possibly as
a loner, like when you see these Communitians you see
comedians with each other.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
We always see real by himself.
Speaker 4 (44:58):
I mean, Dadie Griffin, don't be hanging out with them.
Speaker 16 (45:00):
I know that you've been doing it for a long time,
but to the general public, it hasn't even been ten years.
Speaker 4 (45:09):
Yeah, but think about this, if you truly look at
I literally did it in such an old school, like
I would at least think my people will at least
push because I, like, I came from the chilling circuit.
Speaker 1 (45:19):
I did it literally step by step. I was on
Comic View. You know, creat people don't remember that, but
if you didn't care of a plant.
Speaker 4 (45:26):
But that's what I'm saying, Like even that, like, but
they still put them on these lists, Like I think, honestly,
it has to come from the other comedians, right, I've
never from the other comics, Like comics that text me.
I have comics that would never tweet or instagram. They
love my specials, but they'll text me, And that to me,
that's the part of that. Like weird, it is a
clickie thing. Some of this stuff is a little clubby,
(45:47):
but like I don't know, I think, and also tis
on me a little bit, where when I had the
heat on me, like like extremely on me. I didn't
necessarily want to press for it, and that's because I
was in a place where not necessarily just sad. But
I don't know, I just didn't want people to see
you yet. I didn't want them to see me. I
didn't like how it felt, even though things was going great,
because think about that we get out, Dude, I should
(46:08):
have been on some magazine covers.
Speaker 2 (46:09):
I could have did that stuff.
Speaker 4 (46:11):
I was just like, let the work speak for itself,
let me just stand it back.
Speaker 16 (46:14):
And then culturally though, like culturally I felt like, you know,
that character and get Out was a big deal.
Speaker 4 (46:19):
I've done some culture things, like even just being on Insecure,
that's a big culture thing. Even like doing movies like
Judas in the Black Messiah, like being a part of
I've been a part of some really powerful moments, like
even when Jay did his four four four album and
that and when we did that we did that music
video the Black Friends, and it was me, he said, Like,
I've been a part of some really cool things. I
(46:41):
just never participated in hyping myself up like I should have.
Speaker 2 (46:45):
I don't go anywhere. We got more with a little
Red when we come back, it's the Breakfast Club. Good
morning morning everybody.
Speaker 1 (46:49):
It's dj ND just hilarious Charlamage and the guy we
are the Breakfast Club. We're still kicking it with little
real Charlamagne.
Speaker 16 (46:56):
It is interesting, right, and I'll be having these conversations sometimes,
like when I look at like you, Gerard called Michael,
y'all had everything right, Like y'all had the sitcom, the
HBO specials, the big movies. But then it's still don't
cut through like like a eighty five South show or a.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Douvall that's true and not true. It's just spaces for everything, right.
Speaker 4 (47:15):
And so like you think about Carmichael Show, that's still
a very well loved show, like so many people still
talk about it and still like approach me about it.
But once again, Girard is kind of like me too.
I think until we saw like Gerard, we're seeing him
come into his own too. Now he's a lot more
open about everything than he's ever been. You know, we
saw that by the time we got to Rock Thaniel.
You know what I'm saying. That's why he had his moment,
(47:36):
That's why he wanted in me. That's why you saw
him get more attention with that and so I think
that might be my season now to be quite honest
with you, cause now I'm like, you know something like
I'm such a nerdish. I purposely did everything I did
so I could be one of the greatest. I wanted
to sitcown with my name on it on Network TV.
That all that was done on purpose, even just the
way I did the movies, it's based off like what
Bernie Mack did.
Speaker 3 (47:57):
If I get one small.
Speaker 4 (47:58):
Rules like Bernie got killed anyone, okay, real, make sure
even if it's small, be.
Speaker 2 (48:02):
Memorable, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (48:04):
So but now I'm in a place now even just
like even just having a great PR team I have.
Now this is the most I've ever been. But I
feel good, I'm happy, and I believe in myself for real.
So maybe I'm comfortable showing people who I am.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
But I also think it's like you said, is being seen?
Right If you think of some of the comedians that
you name, Yeah, you see them all the time. But
it's not just see them on billboards. You see them
at the game, you see them at these events, you
see them at the time, and you picture and you
see them all the time, even in the newspapers. You
see them all the time.
Speaker 4 (48:34):
But that's why I've been participating more.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
It's so funny because like I did that Jennifer Hudson
walked in and came out yesterday and people but that.
Speaker 4 (48:41):
But that's what I'm saying. That's a part of I know,
but it connect because I feel good though, and like
I'm telling you, I'm really confident and I'm so happy.
It's almost like I feel I'm excited about letting people
feel my energy. But at that time I didn't, and
almost some of that stuff I didn't know if I
felt like I deserved it in pasta syndrome, Yeah, I was.
I was in a weird place and I could be
(49:01):
honest about that. I think at the time I could
even admit to that, even when like Gerardinum could tell
something was going on and I couldn't articulate it to
my friends what was going on yet because I didn't understand.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
I'm meant to ask for early, do you do couples
therapy with your fiance.
Speaker 4 (49:16):
We're thinking about it. She thinks we should do it.
But let me say this, I think we should do it.
But for me, it was like I want her to
go to therapy consistently on her own first, because women
love to do this couple but won't work on their personal.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (49:32):
So I love therapy, then you should love therapy. And
we both consistently going therapy could cool. We can go
talk to somebody together because we know how to do
therapy right.
Speaker 2 (49:40):
She has to find the right person for her though
as well.
Speaker 4 (49:42):
Yeah, I mean she had, she's where she who she's
talking to now? She she absolutely loves. So we'll find like,
And it's interesting with couples therapy because I'll be watching
like shows like like Shrinking is one of my favorite shows.
I love Damn, I love that show. Everybody Shrinking so
good and so like. It's interesting because you know, most
couples go to like the past. I don't know.
Speaker 16 (50:01):
It's interested to find who a couple's therapy personally, it's
what you're saying. And interesting because it's hard enough to
start seeing yourself. Yeah, so when you and your partner
get together and y'all start feeling back them layers and
you thought one thing and she thinks another.
Speaker 4 (50:13):
Oh my god, with just you but Charlamagne. We but
even even though we don't go to therapy. We do
that a lot, and it's been beautiful. Even one day,
I think a couple of weeks ago, she was like,
we need to communicate better. I'm like, we're actually doing it.
We just not agreeing.
Speaker 3 (50:27):
That's real.
Speaker 2 (50:28):
We talking about it.
Speaker 4 (50:29):
And I think that's maturity too, being able to have
a conversation and not agree, like nobody has to win this, but.
Speaker 2 (50:36):
You get dead.
Speaker 4 (50:36):
That's good.
Speaker 1 (50:36):
That's when your relationship is good. Because the first couple
of years, I said, most people.
Speaker 3 (50:40):
Mind is you fighting to win? You just want to win.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
When you realize now we got two different opinions, all right,
let's keep it moving.
Speaker 2 (50:48):
That's that's when you you've established something.
Speaker 4 (50:50):
No, it's that's where we're at too. And I actually
love that, Like I love the way I don't know
and even with that right like to be legitimately in
love and appreciate what love really is and a partner
man that's his next level. I like, really appreciate her,
you know what I'm saying, Like, I love talking to her.
And once again, even when we don't agree, it's so
interesting because she sometimes she'll get really.
Speaker 6 (51:11):
On ten and I'd be like that you feel like
she should get therapy for herself first, Like, what are
some things that you that you see that she needs
to work on, you know, individually before couple suble nothing.
Speaker 4 (51:25):
No, she's working on She's working on everything. I mean,
we both are like, and I ain't gonna put her
personal stuff because that we do really talk about it,
but she's working on it. Like that's why she goes
up there like Danella is.
Speaker 2 (51:35):
So it is crazy.
Speaker 4 (51:36):
It's really the stuff she's working on is all it's
going to do is make her even greater. And like
for me, I see her and that's one of the things,
like sometimes when I kind of get on her about things,
it's because I see I can see the great this
in her, you know what I'm saying, And like when
somebody really see like I mean, honestly, I tell her
this all the time. I stopped drinking because I had
the right woman. It was something I wanted to do
(51:57):
for a long time but I couldn't. I don't know,
whatever whatever I needed, she was able to provide for me.
And it was from this, I know you want to
get better And I'm not gonna even like poke at
you about it. I'm gonna just cover you and pray
for you, and man, I'm gonna be there for you
and I'm gonna let you know I'm proud of you
when you're done. And that's what she did. And I
literally just told her that, like it's like one of
(52:18):
our weird emotional crime because that's why I'm at too,
like the tears come down that like like some days
I wake up and I just be like, I like
can't believe. I'm like, you saved me, Like she literally
to me, saved my life.
Speaker 22 (52:31):
But what got you to a place of worthy?
Speaker 4 (52:33):
Oh that's a good question. Wow, you know, And that's
at first I didn't feel like it because you know,
you go through It's so funny that happened with the
fires too a little bit, where like I kind of
felt guilty that I placed and catch fire in a
weird way because I felt bad for everybody, like people
lost everything.
Speaker 1 (52:50):
I'm like, dang, why do I feel guilty about being
kind of blessed in away because it didn't happen to me.
Speaker 4 (52:56):
But it's the same thing. It was, like, you know,
when I felt worthy for real, Charlotte, Man, it was
really here, we yo. It was one of the therapy sessions, right,
and I remember my therapist was I was trying to
explain to I don't know what I was saying to
maybe acting like I didn't deserve some of the stuff.
I couldn't understand why. And that's when we started doing
that exercise to talk to little me, you know what
I mean, like, yo, the kid who had the dream,
(53:19):
who was on the West side of Chicago watching the TV,
like it didn't seem realistic. Like even when we say
Hollywood from where I lived, I'm like, what is that
a real place? It felt like I's But then like
she was like, talk to little you, because you actually
did it. And so that's when I had that moment
like oh, I went back and too a little me,
like we made it in that movie theater where like you,
you would sit there for hours and watch back to
(53:41):
back movies, cause it was just taking you, you know,
away from wherever you made it inside the TV, like
you and the thing you're part of, this beautiful, great
up dream you had and you worthy of it, like
you earned it fan And I was like, damn. And
that's really when I felt worthy. And that's why, like
I loved that, you know, one of the biggest miss
I do get more than anything. It's like, dude, you
(54:02):
just seem happy. I'm like, yeah, I'm so comfortable and
just even though not just being real, like even my
relationship with God is on the whole other left, you
know what I'm saying, Like, it's just the conversations I
have with God now, be so honest and so like lately,
I'll say it again, like this's probably been the most
emotional I've ever been in my life. I just wake
up sometimes with a new praise every single day, and
(54:25):
I'm loving what I do more now, even just like
you know, promoting dog Man and I'm like, wow, I'm
in this animated movie that's one of those big movies,
and I get a chance for a book that the
voice has never existed, And the first time a kid
hears Chief talk, it's me. That's so cool. I'm like,
I'm literally enjoying every aspect of this now more than
I ever have.
Speaker 22 (54:45):
Gratitude.
Speaker 16 (54:46):
Yeah, gotta go, guys, appreciate it, man, absolutely, Man, it's
a little real.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
Ladies and gentlemen, make sure you check out dog Man.
And there is now and it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning,
thank you.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
Everybody is the DJ Envy, hilarious, Charlamagne to God. We
all to Breakfast Club. Now let's get to Jest with
the message.
Speaker 4 (55:04):
You mean this reals, Jessica Robin Moore just don't do
no lines, don't.
Speaker 16 (55:08):
Do that talk World Why jests Worldwide Mass.
Speaker 2 (55:17):
On the Breakfast Club. He's the coaches ship.
Speaker 16 (55:20):
She was able to get y'all to see something and
understand something that nobody.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
Could get you to see. This's time to set it off. Okay,
so let's get to Dwayne Wade. I've seen that he
just you know, put it out.
Speaker 5 (55:31):
There that he had cancer on the YEP for the
first time ever.
Speaker 17 (55:35):
Dwayne Wade, he was on his podcast called The Why
off of The Wide Network, and he talked about having
cancer with his co host Let's say listen.
Speaker 18 (55:42):
I went in to get myself checked out, turned forty
years old, and I went in and I was like, Doc,
I want to know everything about my body head to toe.
I got some things that I'm feeling. I got some
stomach issues on the process of checking, like, man, why
is my piss coming out slow? And then now you
did deeper and found out that someone else in your
family their grandfather and so far and so forth go
through it. So I went in the doctor to look
(56:04):
for something else. But because I did the full body scan,
they were able to see my entire body, my entire inside,
and they were able to see something that was on
my kidney, on my right kidney when I went in,
then go in for my kidneys, and so what I
had on my kidney was assist a tumor.
Speaker 2 (56:22):
And so I'm sitting in.
Speaker 18 (56:23):
The doctor and I just went for physicals pretty much
check on myself. And now I'm in the doctor and
the doctor is like, so you need to have kidney surgery.
Speaker 6 (56:31):
Yoh, that's the craziest thing, yo, because that's what I
That's what I just recently went through. I went to
the hospital and thought it was something else, and the
whole time, you know, I leave, I had to have
emergency surgery on something else. You just got to take
care of yourself. And of course mine is not on
a bigger scale as you know, as big of a
scale as that, but just everybody needed to just check
on theirself. Like I said, I want to know what's
(56:51):
going on with my body from head to toe. You
need to do that, not even just men, just women.
Speaker 3 (56:55):
Too, Like, just do that make sure you stray.
Speaker 1 (56:58):
I agree to do downplay what you said too, because
anytime they put you onder under anesthesia, you never know
if you're gonna wake back up. The fact that you
had surgery and you okay, it's amazing. But like you said,
when you get to not even forty or forty five,
when if you start feeling something crazy, go to the doctor,
get checked.
Speaker 2 (57:14):
And I know a lot of them they ain't going
to Nicole, you ain't playing with my butt.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
No, that could save you and you could possibly have
you know where you can see your kids, you can
see your kids get married, you can see your grandkids,
you can see your mother, your father. So make sure
you get your ass checked. And you know literally yeah,
the way he said it.
Speaker 5 (57:32):
I was about you.
Speaker 17 (57:33):
Yeah, It's like he's telling you go get yourself checked
but also telling you what to get checked.
Speaker 5 (57:37):
But Dwayne, yeah, both yup.
Speaker 2 (57:39):
I saw what you did that.
Speaker 17 (57:41):
Dwayne Wade talked about that too, though, And he talked
about actually because he said, at this point, you know,
after you found out about that he had the surgery,
he was the most vulnerable he's ever been because it
was to the point where sometimes he couldn't even get
up to walk across his bedroom to the bathroom, and
his kids and his wife, Gabrielle Union, had never seen
him that vulnerable, and as a dad, you don't want
them to see you like that.
Speaker 5 (58:00):
You don't want them to see you weak. But he
had to be week.
Speaker 6 (58:02):
Furthermore, you want to know, why the hell can't I
do this? I'm an athlete, I'm in good exactly, he
used to be in there. Why does it hurt for
me to walk from one end of the room to
the other. What was after the surgery?
Speaker 17 (58:11):
So after they removed the cancer from the kidney, but
he said that because his dad went through prostate cancer
as well too, he said that this was a time
where him his dad got like the conversations they would
have changed. It went from just sports and I've always
been his athlete son to now we're talking about our
bodies and our health. And he had a funny conversation
about wanting getting checked too with his dad. Let's say
a listen to that, share a.
Speaker 2 (58:31):
Quick story by my dad.
Speaker 18 (58:32):
Because my dad and I life was kind of built
around sports for a very long time and him being
my father and me being his son and whatever lately
we now share this part of our bodies.
Speaker 2 (58:43):
Right, we now talk about right going to the doctor.
Speaker 18 (58:45):
Talking about our prostate, all these things because we're dealing
with it at the same time. So I got on
the phone with my dad after going to one of
the doctor's appointments. Right, So I go to the doctor.
Didn't know there was going to be a prostate, is sam.
I know a lot of men whoever they forties, felt
this before. Next thing, you know, doctor guessam some lou
on her fingers and she going up there, right, whoa,
So she go up there, yes, talking. I called my dad,
(59:07):
my dad crazy. My dad started laughing.
Speaker 2 (59:10):
I just went through a traumatic experience in my life.
But they still living.
Speaker 3 (59:13):
He said, oh man, that that ain't nothing.
Speaker 2 (59:15):
She just wanted to play in your booty. At least
at least it's a she, right right.
Speaker 7 (59:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (59:23):
You know the crazy thing is most men, I don't think,
have female doctors. They have male doctors. But you know
the funny thing about it is this way sometimes you
got to be close with your partner. Right, Because when
I went and got my colonoscopy, I may get go
get hers. I'm like, we're both going to get like
we both going you know, and I wanted to.
Speaker 2 (59:38):
Get my heart check. Me and gear with well we
both getting like we everything were going together. We go together.
Speaker 5 (59:43):
That's right, to go together.
Speaker 3 (59:44):
Real.
Speaker 2 (59:45):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (59:46):
And one of the other things too, that I that
I thought was interested in this was Jess.
Speaker 17 (59:51):
I know, you were talking about like medical like male practice,
and just I was different when you're a person of color.
So his co host, Bob Mattella's boy was actually saying
that he went through a lot of stuff, you know,
with his dad, who they found out had stage four
prostate cancer. He said he went to the hospital many
times with his dad because his dad was having stomach
issues and they passed it off as nothing, and then
(01:00:11):
finally they found out that it was cancer. So they
were making the point of like pushback on the doctors
if you know something's not right, because by the time
they found out it was stage four and his dad
passed away.
Speaker 5 (01:00:19):
And I went through this.
Speaker 17 (01:00:20):
I was, y'all, was crying on the way in here
this morning. Not to bring down the move, but I
went through that with my mom like she was having
strokes and they kept just saying, oh, it's your strokes
and blah blah. And then one day, they just and
they're so like neutral and like regular about it. Just
walked into one day it was like, oh, it's stage
four cancer and we were like, wait, we've been in
this top We've been in this hospital with y'all for
a year. How did y'all you know what I mean?
So the podcast and what he's doing with it is
(01:00:42):
really good because they're encouraging you to go get checked.
They're encouraging you to have these conversations, and it's like
a safe space for men. So, like you said, one
hundred percent, but I'm glad he's okay though, and this
was his first time talking about it.
Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
He didn't even realize that until they were live in
the podcast. But no, it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:00:55):
What let's bring move back up. I ain't know G
three was that fine?
Speaker 5 (01:00:58):
Oh girl, you I know you guys done in there
about lian Angelo. I'm going there, I'm going there right here,
he's second on the list.
Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
IVI did you know?
Speaker 3 (01:01:06):
G three was fine?
Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Well, when did you have a man? When you don't
have a man? And I'm not gay, So I'm gonna
put it out at one point, right, I don't even
really like light skinned. So Christians, Christians got lucky.
Speaker 5 (01:01:18):
I was watching Yeah, so I was watching G three
last night.
Speaker 17 (01:01:22):
He sat down with Speedy Mormon for three sixty with
Speedy on Complex and they were talking about the whole
deal in the Tweaker song.
Speaker 5 (01:01:27):
I was like, dang, he was that fine?
Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Okay, you so upset relaxed.
Speaker 17 (01:01:32):
He's one of your page brothers, he said, he said
a lot. Let's take a listen to him and talk
about him and Cameron.
Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
You're also very recently got to your first ever rat
beef with Cameron.
Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
We four all was rapping.
Speaker 2 (01:01:44):
It's all kind of just happening so quickly.
Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
What's it been like having to deal with like commentary
from someone like Cameron.
Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
And don't deal with it like that. Don't bother me, Bro,
I just address it because I ain't like, I ain't
finna get pumped for nothing, Like, what is it? They
don't know me at all?
Speaker 2 (01:02:00):
No, cameon, Bro, I think.
Speaker 3 (01:02:01):
I rapped colder than him basketball, colder than I'm not
over here, Like dang, he said, I can't do this, Like, Bro,
I knew was coming. I'll just be keeping it cool. Like,
but you also feel as if music personally, Yeah, that's
what I'm saying, but I'm not gonna say that.
Speaker 11 (01:02:15):
Well I said it on here now, but I'm not
going online I'm better than Cameron.
Speaker 3 (01:02:20):
But you do feel that way. I feel that way.
Speaker 16 (01:02:22):
You know, Hello, people going respect I stay legend for
I'm not disrespecting.
Speaker 17 (01:02:28):
Yeah, that was that was a crazy take. I went,
I like the Twiger song, but that was a crazy take.
Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
Come on, maybe maybe or maybe not better than basketball
because if you don't know, Cameron used to get busy
in BASKETBA. Cameron and Maze together with prospects to possibly
play professional, you know, professional or even in college, but
they decided not to go and do rap. But they
were both nice, like got busy if you look at
old tapes rapping.
Speaker 2 (01:02:53):
Come on, come on, G three, come.
Speaker 17 (01:02:56):
I'm actually interested for I can't wait for Cam respine
if he's going to I don't think he is, though
he might respond to there he be doing the freestyles
on his show.
Speaker 5 (01:03:03):
I know, but I don't think he is because I
don't know. Something just tells me.
Speaker 6 (01:03:07):
G G three might have just said that just because
get around saying just to get response or whatever, and
then can pay attention to what you want to pay
attention to. You, and I just I mean, he responds
to you the things he want to response to and
I don't think that's gonna get a risk.
Speaker 2 (01:03:19):
Kim gets busy along with them. Well he real quick.
Speaker 17 (01:03:23):
I did want to mention this happened. It was real
quick yesterday. But Diddy there was a superseding indictment. They
did add more charges on to Diddy. There are two
new victims now in this case, we'll be following this
and there will be more, I'm sure.
Speaker 5 (01:03:35):
But basically on the criminal side, remember there's always been.
Speaker 17 (01:03:38):
One victim, Victim one, who was Cassie, but now there's
two more victims, Victim two and victim three. Both of
these victims are women, and they're both basically claiming that
this was this whole sex trafficking and all this stuff
had been going on for a very long time. They're
claiming that Diddy would transport all three women together to
engage in and prostitutions. It's a lot of different stuff,
(01:04:03):
but they're basically saying he's been on his tear at
his rampage for a long long time, way before even
what Cassie is detailing. So in the beginning, when we
were reporting this, we were mentioning that the prosecutor said
that this is superseding, which means they could add additional
things as they find it whenever they need to, and
that's exactly what they did yesterday. They don't describe Diddy's
relationship with the women, but they do say that the victims,
(01:04:25):
among other things, were provided monetary payments, career opportunities, and
payment of rent in housing, like he was taking care
of them in exchange for this whatever it was that
they were engaging with him and did he seem, of course,
is denying it. In the statement that I got from them,
they're saying, you know, he's committed to fighting these charges
and winning and trial, so we'll.
Speaker 5 (01:04:43):
Keep up with that.
Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
All right, Well, thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (01:04:46):
That was just with the mess now. But when we
come we got a new joint from the weekend. It's
called Niagara Falls. And also Charlemagne is out. So if
you want to give somebody donkey of the day eight
hundred five eight five one oh five ones, don't go anywhere.
Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
It's the breakfast Club. Good morning, wake up.
Speaker 1 (01:05:01):
If you're like to into the breakfast Club, it's your
time to nominate a donkey of your own.
Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
Well, lemonid. That's what's how they choose. I'll call it
now eight hundred and five eight five, one oh five one.
All right, chamamade is out.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
So we open up the phone lines and let you
give donkey to day to whoever you want. Let's go
to the phone lines.
Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
Hello, who's this this kill? Who you wanna give donkey to? Mama?
Speaker 23 (01:05:28):
I want to give donkey of a day, well, every
day to my kids father, And it's only because of
the simple fact don't call me telling me what you
need when we have a whole child that we share
like it's only y'all and y'all are still hungry, bro homeless.
It's just ridiculous. No car, no type of motion at all.
(01:05:51):
But you're calling your baby Mather because you need like
it's twenty twenty five. Let's do better, donkeys, Let's do
way better.
Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
So I guess you're not gonna lend him anything.
Speaker 7 (01:06:03):
Huh?
Speaker 11 (01:06:04):
She tired of it?
Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
Well, she hung up.
Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
Okay, Hello.
Speaker 15 (01:06:10):
That Hello, who's this sneaker?
Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
Hey, we're gonna give donkey too.
Speaker 15 (01:06:15):
I want to touch you on a donkey to DAYA.
People practice medical racism, like just.
Speaker 16 (01:06:19):
To talk about it's a real thing.
Speaker 15 (01:06:21):
It's a real thing that's happening at every hospital from
back with the skid airman.
Speaker 3 (01:06:27):
They just renamed it and doing it smarter and differently.
Speaker 15 (01:06:29):
That games they're giving us real I'm with you.
Speaker 1 (01:06:33):
I thought, actually I thought it just made up that
term earlier. But I guess it's it's not a term
you made up, just it's actually a real thing. See,
I be knowing, even when I don't be knowing, I'll
be knowing.
Speaker 11 (01:06:41):
So yeah, hello, who's this trace?
Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
And we wanna give Donkey too, that orange man that's
in office. You're President Donald Trump? You mean that ain't
my president.
Speaker 13 (01:06:53):
That's your president.
Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
The only way he can't be the president is if
you move out of the United States.
Speaker 13 (01:06:58):
Show he's that president that ain't my present.
Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
I feel you, all right, Why are you gonna give
him Donkey? What reason?
Speaker 13 (01:07:03):
How he gonna blame.
Speaker 23 (01:07:04):
Obama and Biting for the tragedy with the helicopter and
the plane crash out?
Speaker 2 (01:07:10):
Yeah, I mean I said that earlier. I mean he's
always poring a finger at people.
Speaker 15 (01:07:13):
You know what I'm saying, like, this is not the time.
Speaker 13 (01:07:15):
And place to be porn fingers.
Speaker 5 (01:07:17):
Where's your sympathy where's your I'm sorry.
Speaker 23 (01:07:19):
That happened to you know, the families or whatever, like
it's just a bunch of bs.
Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
Absolutely, that's right.
Speaker 1 (01:07:24):
Where's your empathy? Like you should be leading with your
heart the time to be pointing fingers. Later on we
can find out what happened, but right now is the
time to show your empathy and show your understanding.
Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
I agree with your mama that part. All right, have
a good one you too. Hello, who's this chapel? Hey shantel.
We're gonna give donkey to day too.
Speaker 15 (01:07:42):
I wonder your dunkey a day to myself for getting
pregnant by somebody who's cheating on me.
Speaker 13 (01:07:47):
And I said, you don't want to being up.
Speaker 3 (01:07:51):
Now?
Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
Well you need the donkey baby?
Speaker 3 (01:07:53):
Why?
Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
I love how honest and transparent you. So he cheated
on you, You're you're pregnant right now? Did he apologize?
Did admit to it or he just called him and
he just like effort man.
Speaker 15 (01:08:09):
He apologized, but then he got mad at me and
something else, and then he said he was glad that
he cheated on me, talking about um vagina was better
than mine. Just said all kinds of Yeah, it's crazy.
I need just with the mess, honestly.
Speaker 6 (01:08:24):
Yeah, because I want to give you donky after that
man told you that, you're still talking about you.
Speaker 5 (01:08:28):

Speaker 2 (01:08:42):
Oh my god, I can ask you a question. What's up?
Is your vagina that loose? I mean that's what he said.
Speaker 13 (01:08:49):
No, he has said with him.
Speaker 15 (01:08:52):
I'm committed to him, like no, no, if that was mean,
I was.
Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
Just asking he said it was loose.
Speaker 3 (01:08:59):

Speaker 6 (01:09:39):
Yo, it ain't even about the It ain't even about
him telling her what Johanna ain't. He compared it to
another girl. Yo, shorty was better. This shorty over here

what Jesus Christ?
Speaker 2 (01:09:53):
All right, Well, when we come back, ees, TG will

Speaker 16 (01:10:21):
Welcome back brother that what's up he ain't feeling his
interview I Ain't Feeling you with the name of that,
what's up with that title? Who You're not feeling men?
Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
Who else not feeling me? And there be some people
that be acting like they don't be feeling me. I
don't think I know. Well now I know though, so
I just wanted to let them know I'm not feeling
that now.
Speaker 5 (01:10:42):
Your previous project was I ain't felt nothing.
Speaker 3 (01:10:45):
Yeah, I don't feel nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:10:46):
Now I ain't feeling you.
Speaker 3 (01:10:47):
I ain't feeling you as specific.
Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
So it's so it's always like a negative conversation.
Speaker 3 (01:10:52):
What are Is it really negative? Though?
Speaker 11 (01:10:55):
It is?
Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
Because who are we talking about?
Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
Who were talking to? They could apply that everybody's somebody
who I see they don't feel nothing. Was like it's vague,
but it's like when it's an overload of stuff, it
ain't nothing specifically that you feel because it's everything. So
it's like this time it's more like the regular person.
It's like, I ain't feeling you like a specific person.
I feel like everybody give me get people that they
(01:11:18):
don't be feeling.
Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
Do you use that as motivation?
Speaker 16 (01:11:20):
Like you know, you see somebody have a negative comment
about you or coming about your music, and you know.
Speaker 3 (01:11:25):
I don't be knowing See until now, I wasn't here,
but I thought everybody loved me.
Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
In this world.
Speaker 3 (01:11:33):
One I thought it was love I ain't lie when
they be seeing me. Yeah, but I guess they don't.
They don't love me. I thought they did.
Speaker 2 (01:11:40):
Dang, you must have got into an incident of somebody
or something like that.
Speaker 3 (01:11:45):
I don't get no incident. It just be you know,
when you put something out there, eventually it go around
and it's people be hearing it.
Speaker 16 (01:11:51):
So this is the other rappers, or it's people in
the world, other rappers. I feel like it's somebody out
that project about that.
Speaker 3 (01:11:59):
I don't have no probably with no other rappers in
the world. I think you know nobody. Everything's every day,
no problem with no rappers. They not saying nothing. I
don't think. Maybe they are, though it's coming out now,
so if they I might hear soon.
Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
You ain't been up paying three years.
Speaker 3 (01:12:15):
It's been a long time.
Speaker 16 (01:12:16):
It's been three years. How have things changed for you
in those three years? That one more kid grad Wow,
that's a big change.
Speaker 3 (01:12:24):
You have some more money. That's about it, baby one,
he's one, Okay.
Speaker 22 (01:12:32):
I do wonder how you're feeling, though, because you know
you look.
Speaker 16 (01:12:34):
I listen to the project and it sounds like you've
lost so many of your people, a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Of pain, like I know your manager.
Speaker 3 (01:12:40):
It'd be like that. It be like I feel like
everybody going through something like that.
Speaker 2 (01:12:44):
You can't shake it off like that.
Speaker 16 (01:12:45):
You can off like that, you manage the big beach
recue peace all white resumeece.
Speaker 22 (01:12:50):
It be like man locked up.
Speaker 3 (01:12:52):
It be like that. You gotta just keep on going.
Speaker 22 (01:12:55):
How do you go with that?
Speaker 3 (01:12:56):
Though? I mean, what do you do? Cigarettes and just
drake going? It's just in the morning early when you
get up. You know what I'm saying. You be all right,
you be shure.
Speaker 16 (01:13:07):
Yeah, on Godo, you said you slowed down for the
last and you said, but you said you still don't
feel no.
Speaker 3 (01:13:12):
Word back getting buttered.
Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
You slowed down as far as well, slow down to
fast work.
Speaker 3 (01:13:17):
We might I shouldn't get into that. We don't want
promoting slow down smoking, no lictit drugs.
Speaker 13 (01:13:24):
Promoting.
Speaker 2 (01:13:24):
I mean, like you slow down you if you was using.
But I said, I'm back.
Speaker 4 (01:13:28):
Though, Oh yeah, yeah, I'm back.
Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
On the morning, I'm back. I tried, you know god, No,
I'm not a lot. Yes back you did try though
I did. For how long?
Speaker 2 (01:13:39):
How long were you were you off of it? Like
a year?
Speaker 3 (01:13:42):
A year? I ain't drink no syrup. I still ain't
start drinking syrup for real though a little bit. But
I ain't drinking no syrup for like a year and
a half.
Speaker 2 (01:13:48):
That's amazing, though.
Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
You know, I got shot, so I'll be taking purse,
but I ain't taking no person for like ten nine
ten months straight, And that was hard.
Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
Do you need it with the creative process? Like sometimes
you need that the creat grieving, They don't.
Speaker 3 (01:14:02):
They don't got nothing to do with rapping. I could
rap regard, but it just be my stomach be hurting
because I got shot. You feel me in my eye
like the doctor closed that. I got my stitches put
in my eye and I got shot in my face
and the doctors I was closed, so they left the
stitches of my like it was like bothering me. It's
you take the person, you know, I'm saying a little
bitty nagging, a little pained away. But they took the
(01:14:25):
stitches out. Now, like what was that last year before last?
They've been there for like a little minute. I've been straight.
So that's how I was able to kind of stop
him for real because I got something.
Speaker 16 (01:14:35):
Have you tried anything else for your trauma? Like you know,
like going to therapy, going to a grief council, A
little straight.
Speaker 3 (01:14:40):
I don't got no tu I'm straight. It's just just
I'm sure I don't need no therapy or nothing.
Speaker 6 (01:14:45):
What was the moment that you you got you went back?
What made you say, all right, look, I didn't try
this long enough. It's clean, sober life long enough. What
was that moment for you to go back?
Speaker 3 (01:14:56):
One day I woke up and I'm like, man, I'm
right at that weed like today, I mean this week.
You know, it was just what it was. And when
I got to the studio, I won't say my little
problem might have some syrup. And it was that right
back to day one again it's straight though.
Speaker 16 (01:15:13):
Also on the go record, man, you said you've been
talking to God and haven't been getting a response. So
what's the conversation you you're trying to have with with
with God? If it's not too personal, I don't know
that just be I think it's just human nature.
Speaker 3 (01:15:25):
We being patient sometimes when we be praying and stuff,
we might get an answer, it might not have it
right then or nothing. You feel me like you you know,
I think that's just human nature. I don't think it's
nothing specific to me that, but we done got frustrated.
We out and got frustrated and impatient. You know what
I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:15:43):
You grew up stal like your mom, grandma.
Speaker 3 (01:15:45):
Yeah, my no, noll my mom when they go to
church and stuff. Or I'll be saying to myself like
I'm gonna go to church, but I just don't go church.
Be throwing me out sometimes, what about it? I don't
know how to sink the back rooms at the church,
So it's just make it.
Speaker 2 (01:16:02):
Church church.
Speaker 3 (01:16:03):
Just be funny, like I should say, ye, should you
see in the back of the churna be mad like
shes gonna see it now?
Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
You saw pastor getting busy at something.
Speaker 3 (01:16:16):
Nah, It's just you know how you might say something
about somebody's like you might tell him something and you
don't think he gonna tell her, Yeah, and then he
tell her and she's she might stand up and be like,
all right, it's.
Speaker 4 (01:16:28):
Somebody in her who's wow, was going through this right there?
Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
I know I can feel your heart right now.
Speaker 3 (01:16:35):
You knock it off. Yeah, I see that part of
it and be like, well, I know you just heard
me say in the cow don't tell nobody have been
thirty minutes in church.
Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
Now they all know I need forty dollars. Yeah, yeah,
they could feel my heart come and then still don't
have to give a forty dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:16:56):
No, the church is gonna get that money. You gotta
go to Wednesday battles. Some process you gotta go through
to get your forwardy.
Speaker 2 (01:17:03):
Now, I did see something yesterday.
Speaker 1 (01:17:04):
He was with a bag fuel and clue shot the
clue that they said that you had a whole waiting
for two hours.
Speaker 3 (01:17:10):
That was the capture when you went to go visit
Rock Nation up. Man. Yeah, it was accident. Me and
Beach was riding around. We figured out it was Dispenserys.
So he wanted to stop. He churning for Nasty's like,
I got you in the car, I'm gonna bring him in.
He's telling them dispensers like bringing me in, just give
me be showing some of the weeds. He's pulled up
at every dispensary spender. Me said, you were in the car, man,
Well we got about both zips a weed just off
(01:17:33):
to pull up him O beat and do his thing.
I get back in the car going full around the corner.
So it was just riding around and we knew that
they was waiting on us, but it was like, they'll
be all right because we thought it was just one
but it was light, so I wasn't thinking it wasn't
gonna be nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
But Jay was there.
Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
Up we walk in. They all looking at us silly
because we're late, and they all standing like they were
waiting for us to see him, but were walking and
looking at them like, why all I'm weird?
Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
Like we mentioned how y'all before we got it was
two hours late.
Speaker 3 (01:18:01):
Man, we got it. He wasn't tripping though.
Speaker 2 (01:18:03):
Did you apologize that?
Speaker 18 (01:18:05):
Na?
Speaker 16 (01:18:05):
What damn it isn't I think you should apologize when
you walk in late?
Speaker 3 (01:18:11):
MANA what you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:14):
Want to hel off the album?
Speaker 14 (01:18:15):
Man?
Speaker 22 (01:18:16):
Houston Bay and Travis Scott Baby and Travis Scott.
Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
All right, well let's get into that now. It's the
Breakfast Club. Good morning morning everybody. It's tj ND just hilarious. Charlamagne,
the guy we are the Breakfast Club is still kicking
it with E. S. T. G.
Speaker 16 (01:18:29):
Charlamagne on that record right now. And you say you're
still living in the trenches. Do you mean you just
visit often?
Speaker 3 (01:18:33):
Are you actually just saying my heart in my hands mindset? Yeah? No,
my mindset, my mindset a billion. But I'm investing in people.
So it's people that are still stumping through every day
that I'm worried about what they're doing. So when I
say I'm still, like, I still your heart, you're front. Yeah,
I'm trying to see what's going on, make sure everybody's
(01:18:55):
everything's everything.
Speaker 2 (01:18:56):
On that on the right now record too.
Speaker 16 (01:18:58):
I like how you talk about how unjusting what the
justice system is too man, and I think you're talking
about one of your partner's a little scary.
Speaker 22 (01:19:04):
You talk about the time he got fifteen grams.
Speaker 3 (01:19:07):
What he got fifteen years for eighty grams, was serving
a Graham eight times, and it was his first offense.
Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
You said he smiled and court when he got sent it.
Speaker 3 (01:19:15):
Well, yes, he gonna go tell no, you know what
I'm saying, what we be back, he'd be back. Give
him up to her. Yeah, a little scary, my very
little bettery man. Fifteen years, eight grams of hero dang
so he sold, he made eight hundred dollars. He served
the informant eight times, four hundred dollars and fifteen and
it's his first offense, first offense, first offense, no criminal
(01:19:39):
history and it was and he was nineteen Yeah, dang,
everybody got But Kentucky's like one of them places. It's
like even though it was a federal case, because it's
out of the West District of Kentucky. So you get
Kentucky attorneys, you know what I'm saying, Or you can
get a lawyer from any state, but Kentucky attorney's got
to sign off on it that they can represent you
today from under states. Kentucky's like one of them places.
(01:19:59):
Like it's like old school. I don't want to say crooked,
because I still gotta be up around through there. But
it's like if you if you just if you, if
you're from her, then you know you'll remember the Breonna
Taylor stuff. Yeah, and uh you remember Hankerson the he
was the white that one, the one that killed her.
He walked me home at gun point when I was
(01:20:21):
like ten years old, granty apartment. Wow. Like so he's
like like that, but that's like a thing, like he
notorious for what he did. But it's a bunch of
them though. It's like that, you know what I'm saying,
Like that's a thing in in Kentucky, like Hankerson, Bret Hankerson.
It's a whole lot of at gun point when you
were ten and what are you doing over here? Y'all
live over here? Come on, damn ten years old, you
(01:20:43):
are getting to have can't nobody do nothing? I ain't nothing,
ain't nothing, ain't no call to get made. But I
think vice. Have you ever heard of vice?
Speaker 22 (01:20:52):
The little YouTube it's like a network, Yeah, like the
YouTube network.
Speaker 3 (01:20:56):
They did something on on a little with like the police.
It's like about how corrupt it was. It was like
over like three four years they had see like twenty
four million or something and drug money and they had
only accounted for like eight of it and the rest
of it was had to be used to pay informants
(01:21:18):
and all these different little rogue tasks for us. They
got like how jays have complaints on these officers and
like the chiefs about like picking them up with dope
and the car like dude, this this and that right now,
I'm gonna take you to jail for this bag of food,
you know what I'm saying. And like the women was
going to complaining, like the ladies, like the dopin, they
(01:21:38):
was going to complain. But like a lot of times
it wasn't going nowhere, and then eventually like one of
them kept like a shirt or something with one of
the chiefs. You know what I'm saying, DNA on that
and that finished it, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 22 (01:21:50):
But then he ain't.
Speaker 3 (01:21:51):
It wasn't no, he adn't go to jail. He just
quit before like they finished.
Speaker 22 (01:21:55):
They finished.
Speaker 3 (01:21:56):
Yeah, but it's like, you know, they probably gave him
the his But it's tricky in the lord over though,
like I probably shouldn't even they tricky a little awareness
like this is all, but y'all go watch the little
vice thing though, like well talk about I wish I
could show you if we had tam every when it's over,
I shouldn't show you the link.
Speaker 16 (01:22:13):
But it's tricky though, you know what I'm saying. It's
that absolutely. You remember they were saying on Twitter, I
don't be on Twitter, but I heard that y'all.
Speaker 3 (01:22:22):
Don't be on Twitter. They were trying to say it
on but they never they.
Speaker 22 (01:22:25):
Were saying that you you were trying to get off CMG.
Speaker 3 (01:22:28):
Why do they be saying that? I don't know, man,
it shuldn't I'm regular because I don't really feel me.
I think his name is the game speer drift like
a semi truck. He do his videos like like he's
in the back of the semi truck taking a break
when he feel me, running his loads back wherever he
gotta go. He like he drives Amazon or something.
Speaker 7 (01:22:47):
Bro.
Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
Stop saying that. Man, yeah, yeah, ce G. She's trying
to get away from your guy and c MG and
he's gonna happy. What are you talking about? Like, I
don't know where it be?
Speaker 2 (01:22:56):
It be Is he from your city?
Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
Like I don't know where it's not from Little not
driving no truck making a YouTube video? Hell nah, i'
from Little We were the flooding tires. I don't know,
but it ain't no problem though. Man, you feel me,
but just stop doing in his cap you know, the
captions on the videos on YouTube might be like it
might be something vicious.
Speaker 4 (01:23:21):
Geez G says f all of CMG and he threw
his chain in the ocean.
Speaker 2 (01:23:29):
I gotta go to the room and check. You're getting
to call from God, like, man, we good.
Speaker 3 (01:23:37):
We be laughing all the same, Okay, we laugh at something,
but gott he me and gott He's like this. We
don't be I don't know we understand real life and
not real life. And I know if I don't know
this man and you don't know him, like it's just funny,
like it's real stuff going on in the in life
and the like stuff like that. I don't know. I
(01:23:58):
ain't turn my back on nobody there help me get
to men you feel me, we're gonna figure it out,
We're gonna fight or whatever. But I don't think me
and gott it ever comes to nothing like that.
Speaker 16 (01:24:08):
Got he one of the most solid successful black CEOs
that we've seen in the last decade.
Speaker 3 (01:24:13):
And he let you do your thing, like I don't
want to get it, but it's like if your career
don't work out and you with Gott it.
Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
It's probably something you feel me like it's something that
you're doing.
Speaker 3 (01:24:23):
And I hate to say it like that you feel
me because really like if you feel strong about something,
he lets you do your thing, like if it doesn't work,
it's you, it's on you. But he's still like it
ain't He's still gonna talk to you like that it
didn't work, did it? So I don't know, Like Got
He's like I don't know. I feel like he don't
get enough recognition.
Speaker 16 (01:24:43):
I don't I agree speaking at the end that I
hate to ask you this message, but there was a
video of a woman claiming she was your sister, man,
and she said that her and her five kids were
homeless with no support.
Speaker 3 (01:24:53):
Shout out to that woman, man, was that really your sister?
Let us freak God that the kids is all right?
Speaker 15 (01:25:07):

on Instagram and she don't have a receipt She got
to make sure she got receipts when she said, what
you say, But let's just pray for the kids. Hope
the kids is good. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:25:21):

It's crazy, it's on your goddamn you talk about you.
Why don't you like it?
Speaker 3 (01:25:51):

Yeah, So last night the Fire Aid Concert went down
to La iHeart was one of the sponsors for the concert.
Speaker 5 (01:33:21):
Is an amazing concert that happened just.
Speaker 17 (01:33:23):
To benefit the people who went through all of the
tragedy of losing their houses and you know all that
stuff with the fires.
Speaker 5 (01:33:29):
It's raising money.
Speaker 17 (01:33:30):
So there were a ton of different performances, little baby
perform Anderson Pok bought out Doctor Dre. You know Doctor
Dres missed the la and he was actually there. He
was celebrating forty years and just being in the business.
And he came out and talked about it and just
you know, paid some homage. Le's take a listen to Dred.
Speaker 2 (01:33:46):
I got so much love for you.

Guys, and this summer will be the mark of forty
years that I've been in this business. And I appreciate
all the love that you guys have been giving me
and the reason why we're here. I appreciate all the
first responders and all the all the fire men that
(01:34:08):
put their lives on the line. I appreciate all that love. Yeah,
it's all about love for me, ton But guess what
else I got?
Speaker 17 (01:34:24):
But yeah, so that was fire because I don't think
that they knew that he was going to perform because
he's not listed on the performer So that was lit
as well. Lady Got Got Also, my girl Lady Got
was a big performer. Billie Eilish, my other girl once
step Fannie, the Katie Perry the Girls was there. But
I think, you know the best part about this, as
I mentioned earlier, is the fact that it will raise
(01:34:44):
and has you know, has been raising a ton of
money for the people affected by the fires. So if
you guys want to go and donate, you can go
to fireaid la dot org and there's different ways to donate. PayPal, Venmo,
Stripe for donations larger than ten k, you can email
donations at Fireaid la dot Org and.

people through the entertainment of music.

So definitely, you say, Anderson Peg was there was my
rioting because you know that's how I don't know, but
I could reach out to some people and see, I
bet you can.

Thank you jest, you got some positivity for the people.
Speaker 6 (01:35:16):
Absolutely, always believe in yourself because even when you don't
think you know something, you be knowing. When like me,
I thought I made up medical racism, right, but then
somebody called then like no, it's been actually going on
all around the country for years and years and years.
Speaker 5 (01:35:31):
So it's like, dang, I ain't even know that I
knew that, but I knew that the whole time.
