Good morning y'all and it's Monday.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
What's up, guys? How y'all feeling?
Speaker 4 (00:22):
Oh great?
Speaker 5 (00:22):
And I feel good? I feel good after Father's Day? Well,
first of all, how was your Father's Day?
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Because we ain't fathers, so how was the father's My
father's Day was absolutely positively. It started off a little shaky,
but the weekend was good. I was out at Atlantic
City with Vibes Cartels. I was working, had the wife
and her friends came out that was amazing, had dinner great.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Then when I came home.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
I stopped by my pop's house early in the morning
and my kid's face telled me.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
But it wasn't one of those face times like, hey,
happy Father's Day. It was dad.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
I opened the door and the door hit painting in
the head and now she's bleeding. Oh, so that's how
Father's Day started. What what you mean she's bleeding.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Let me see.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
So now I'm trying to calculate how to cut looks
through the facetie. I'm like, oh my gosh, it looks big.
Let's go to the emergency room. So now we all
jet to the ear. I'm in my pop's house and
now I gotta jet to Jersey to get to the ear.
So now we get to the er. The baby's in
the er. Her head is sliced open a little bit.
The doctor comes in. I'm thinking stitches again because I
(01:18):
remember I just did this about a month ago with
with Brookna. Some last they know me. Now I'm VIP
in the emergency room. Way, mister Casey, go take a left.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Right there, right.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
So the doctor looks at me and was like, oh,
that's nothing. It's just a little cut. I can't glue
it off, stitch it. You just got to put a
little bastitration on it.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
And did it.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
And yet, so I spent the three four hours at
the emergency room. Then when I finally get home, the
kids cook and I'm tired. I went the Better six thirty.
I ain't gonna front. I went the Better sixty. I
don't know all the players that they had, but.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
I just woke up and.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Texted every last one of them, was like, thank it
was amazing. The best thing y'a could have let me
do a sleep last night and that was great.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Oh that was good.
Speaker 6 (01:53):
I'm sorry about that?
Speaker 7 (01:54):
Is the baby?
Speaker 6 (01:54):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Oh baby's great? Baby act like nothing happened. She in
her but she in an emergency room, Like dad, what's that?
Speaker 8 (02:00):
Hey? Dad?
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Can I touch that? Hey? Dad? Can you give me
some more gloves?
Speaker 9 (02:02):
Like?
Speaker 6 (02:02):
Oh, that's the little one.
Speaker 7 (02:03):
That's the little one.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
She was. How about George? What did you do for
Chris Man?
Speaker 6 (02:12):
So? I actually was in uh not Buffalo. Where was i?
Adam in Buffets? I was in Pittsburgh. It was amazing.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
So I just flew back yesterday morning and we got
everything together for this event that we have today for
the after Father's Day event. But I ended up getting
a room at the hotel that he took me to
on our first date.
Speaker 6 (02:32):
It's called the Ivy Hotel. It's a nice star restaurant
and he.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
Took me to on our first date, and I wanted to,
you know, where this are are we're going to to
our third year of being together. So I booked a
real nice suite there, and then we had dinner at
black Swan. One of my friends, Jamel McLean, he's a
former Ravens player. He has a restaurant black Swan and
downtown Baltimore. We enjoyed preservations there, then we went haul.
(02:56):
I gave a little strip t there you go, I'm saying,
and then yeah, I'm here early this morning. What you
do for your man, Lauren?
Speaker 6 (03:05):
For Father's Day?
Speaker 4 (03:06):
I don't got no man but for my brother. But
for my brother, my brother's and dad. We had dinner
and then my stepdad went to dayd a cookout with
my niece and went swimming and stuff. So I was
just with the family this weekend. I don't know nothing
about a man.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Okay, Well for Father's Day, just know the best Father's
Day is leave us alone. Just let us do whatever
we want to do. If we want, we want to
just watch TV, let us watch TV. If we want
to go in the garage, if whatever.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Just just let us be.
Speaker 6 (03:32):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
I text my dad, happy father.
Speaker 6 (03:34):

Good morning morning.

Everybody is dj NV, Jess, Hilarius Chelamage the guy.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
We are the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Let's get in some front page news all right.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Now.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Sports Game five of the NBA Finals is tonight, the
Paces versus OKC at eight thirty p m.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Now, what's up Morgan?
Speaker 6 (04:27):
Hey y'all, Hey, listen, how y'all feeling on this Monday?
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Amazing good?
Speaker 4 (04:32):
Thank you?
Speaker 6 (04:32):
All right?
Speaker 5 (04:33):
So look and happy belated father, say to you, MV.
But let's get it's drama, all right. So first on
front page, President Trump celebrated his seventy ninth birthday and
mark the US Army's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary with
a sparse crowd on Saturday in Washington, DC, which was
also Flag Day.
Speaker 6 (04:48):
Now, after conducting a re enlistment ceremony, Trump said, America's
enemies have.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
Learned that once you come for the US, you will
you will lose. Now, he expressed his gratitude to service
members and de tell the Army's rich history.
Speaker 6 (05:01):
Let's take a listen to his comments.
Speaker 9 (05:03):
Thank you to the greatest, fiercest, and bravest fighting force
ever to stride the face of this earth. From Gettysburg
to Guadalcanal, from Yorktown to Shiloh, and from the trenches
of the Argonne to the mountains of Afghanistan, the Army
is forged a legacy of unmatched courage, untold sacrifice, said, unequalled,
(05:29):
and undying glory.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Now, Trump said, no matter what happens in the future future,
excuse me, America's Army will always be there Now. Several
thousand people were reportedly attending the parade, extremely underwhelming numbers
from the anticipated two hundred thousand initially expected, Although White
House Communications Director Stephen Chong wrote on x despite the
threat of rain. Over two hundred and fifty thousand patriots
(05:51):
showed up to celebrate the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary
of the US Army.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
God Bless Americas.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
They said it wasn't even that close. They said it
wasn't even close to two undred. No, they said it
was like they said they might have had more soldiers
actually in the parade than actually people out there.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
And videos on Twitter. It looked it. It looked empty,
looked it.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
They looked horrible.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Now they had sixty six hundred soldiers now, fifty helicopters,
one hundred and fifty vehicles, they had horses, mules, parachutists,
and a whole bunch of but they said there was
nobody there.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
So it was just a waste of money.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
Absolutely, and in a stark contrast from Trump's military parade.
And there was an estimated five million people that took
part in the protests over two thousand cities and towns
across the US for the No King's Rally. Now Axio
says over one hundred thousand people turned out for.
Speaker 6 (06:38):
The No Kings rally in Philadelphia alone, and.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
About seventy five thousand showed up for the protests in Chicago.
They were largely peaceful throughout the country, although there was
some clashes in Los Angeles and in Salt Lake City, Utah,
there appeared to be one fatality as a result of
a shooting now. Also in Virginia there was a man
arrested for trying to drive into a driver U SUV
into a crowd of peace people. And in New York
(07:01):
it sounded a little bit like this. Let's take a listen,
good jeans, Jeans, we are all out here demonstrating on
no King's stay together.
Speaker 6 (07:11):
At the same time, all across this country.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Cl you mean what it really means to be an American?
To Heather, Who's going to survive this unnatural disaster in
the right house?
Speaker 6 (07:21):
Topeathers? What are the people have the power?
Speaker 5 (07:25):
So protesters in New York could be seen holding signs
and banners and things of that nature, saying Trump must
go now. And of course demonstrators say the goal of
these protests are to protect their neighbors, saying the power,
as you heard in the audio, belongs back to the people.
Speaker 6 (07:40):
So I will get.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
Contelle you guys, keep you guys posted as to what
happens as a result of these parades and how you
know Trump feels or whether or not he's even going
to address what happened over the weekend regarding them and
the seven o'clock hour, we'll talk about what's happening on
the international front with Israel and Iran.
Speaker 6 (07:58):
So stick around.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
I do have a question now. They've been going back
and forth about who paid for this parade. I've been saying,
hearing Trump paid for it personally. Then I've been hearing
there was some tax payer dollars. Do we know for
sure where that money came from?
Speaker 5 (08:10):
I do not know for sure, but I'm hearing that
the estimated value of this parade is upwards to about
forty five million dollars. And I've also heard that to
your point, that some of the costs will go to
the National Guard. Army national Guard is going to cover
some of that cost, but also some of the cost
is going to go back to the taxpayers, especially probably
in DC, who you know, really can't afford it. There's
taxation without representation. But I won't get too much into that, y'all.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Ya stick around, all right? He should have used the
promoter out in DC to help him out a little
bit to get more day you already know all right, Well,
that is front page News. Get it off your chest
eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. If
you need to vent, phone line to wide open again.
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one is
the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 3 (08:51):

Speaker 3 (14:01):
This is your time to get it off your chest?
I got an indoor pool, outdoor pool. We want to
hear from you on the breakfast club.
Speaker 7 (14:07):
We get on the phone right now, He'll tell you
what it is.
Speaker 13 (14:09):
We live.
Speaker 8 (14:13):
Hello.
Speaker 14 (14:13):
Who's this Brittany?
Speaker 3 (14:15):
Hey, Brittany, what's up? Get it off your chest?
Speaker 14 (14:17):
All right? I've really got something that I wanted to
say about my husband, but I actually need Jessic's help.
I have been trying to call it just for the
past month.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
I need her to fix my bet She's all right.
Speaker 14 (14:29):
So me and my husband have been together for almost
eight years, married for six. The first few years were great.
We ended up having our first kid together real early
in the relationship, and then a couple of years later,
I got pregnant with our second child. I was having
a rough pregnancy, so we moved closer to my family
(14:50):
toward some extra help. Once we did that move, it's like,
that's when I started noticing changes. So to stick down
about three years, I've had some health issues that I
almost died. I've had a major loss in my family.
So I've been like in a real deep depression for
the past three years. Yeah, who hasn't been there supporter
(15:11):
for me emotionally or anything? And I understand that, you know,
I haven't been the best that I can do. But
I was able to recognize that once I started coming
ab out of it a little bit and I went
to him to know, talk to him about what was
going on, and he doesn't want to do with me anymore.
And I'm like, how is that there? Because he said
that I haven't been, you know, showing him any affection
(15:34):
or anything for the past three years. But it's like,
how can you not recognize the trauma and stuff that
I went through and you weren't supportive at all? So
I'm trying to figure out, right, is this marriage really
work saving because it's like he claims he's want he
still wants to work things out, but he's really not trying.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
He's not he's still currently not trying. You feel like I.
Speaker 14 (15:54):
Feel like it's like, since we've been together for so long,
I feel like I've done the most initial relationship.
Speaker 6 (16:02):
Like I.
Speaker 14 (16:03):
Basically pay most of the bills, even though he does
work full time. I'm taking care of the shit. He
bill isn't help me around the house or anything like that.
Speaker 7 (16:13):
I feel like I'm doing.
Speaker 14 (16:14):
Everything on my own and I feel like I'm turning
it to a man instead of being a woman.
Speaker 6 (16:17):
And I am yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 14 (16:21):
Tells me all the time that he loves me and everything,
but and then he wants to be together. But it's like,
how long am I supposed to wait for him to
show me that?
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (16:29):
So do you want your marriage? Do you want it?
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Or are you?
Speaker 6 (16:32):
Is that what you're calling for?
Speaker 15 (16:34):
Like?
Speaker 6 (16:34):
Should I?
Speaker 14 (16:36):
I literally prayed for this for so long and I
just don't know what I should do.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
Well, Look, I do want to say this. I don't
got all the answers for you right now. This will
take a little minute, and we ain't really got that
much time. But I do I sympathize with you being
a woman who was, you know, going through a depression.
You lost your family, then I had to move. It
was like you was at tifpeak and then y'all just
went down here. Well, and then I do understand him
(17:03):
being deprived of that intimacy and that affection for three years.
Speaker 6 (17:09):
That is a lot.
Speaker 5 (17:10):
So both of y'all really was dealing with a lot
of things, and y'all didn't really know how to come
together to govern, to move forward with one another because
y'all had your own blocks up, you know what I mean.
If this is worth saving to you, I strongly encourage
therapy and before y'all even get there, have more talks
(17:30):
with one another, like really sit down and communicate. It's
a lot going on outside y'all house, you know what
I mean, It's.
Speaker 6 (17:36):
A lot going on.
Speaker 5 (17:38):
I really wouldn't want y'all to give up because it
does seem like, yeah, he loved you, you love him,
but you feel like it's a lot on your back.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
You need to unload that on him.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
But y'all need to y'all need to sit down and
don't come at each other, but talk to each other
about what's happening. Even go far back in those three years, Yo,
I was dealing with this. I feel like you wasn't there.
You feel like I wasn't there to be there for
you if if you know, I'm over here dealing with
my stuff, you know, and I feel like you don't
give the same as I give. You know, a lot
(18:08):
of these issues can be worked out if you all communicate.
Speaker 6 (18:11):
Don't leave nothing back, don't hold nothing back.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
You know. There you go, well, get it off your chest.
Well she needed some help.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
Eight hundred and five eighty five, one oh five to one.
Now we got the latest Lauren coming up. What we're
talking about.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
We're talking about the celabs and Father's Day and fifty
cent and how he spent his Father's Day.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Okay, we'll get into all that when we come back.
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 6 (18:34):
All right, let's get to the latest with Lauren.
Speaker 16 (18:37):
Lauren becoming a straight fast.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
She gets something somebody that knows, somebody to detail.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
I'm a long girl that knows a little bit about everything.
Speaker 15 (18:46):
She'd be having the latest on it.
Speaker 12 (18:48):
That's the latest we got, Lauren, Laoe.
Speaker 15 (18:51):
Sometimes you have fact. Sometimes you have details, sometimes you
have a little bit of everything.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
It's the ladist on the breakfast club talking to man
for I've been this day was so special and so
nice for some fathers. And then and then fifty cent
and his oldest son Urkeith get online.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
They got into it.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
The issue is to me just like yes, oh my god.
Speaker 6 (19:17):
So it's just just like yes.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
So Marquis posted this, uh this like a bet. It's
called a player prop betting slip and it's a Father's
Day sportsbook. So the bet was whether fifty cent and
his second son would appear together in a photo. And
Marquis's caption says, Oh, it's Father's Day. Happy Father's Day
to all the real ones. I'm watching my bet and
it ain't looking too good. I got the over. We
all know this is the day for photo ops. The
(19:41):
day ain't over yet. Finished strong, get on your job.
So the bet that he bet it was whether fifty
cent and his second son, Sire would appear together in
a photo. So there's two bets on the side. The
first one is number of photos released publicly featuring both together.
The line is point five, so that's only only one
Folk needed to be posted. It's helping me understand the bets.
(20:03):
One yeah, one photo. And then the other bet was
the number of Instagram posts by fifty cent son by
fifty cent featuring his son. Now, the over odds are
plus two fifty and plus three hundred.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Those are the odds of the bet.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
And but it's a negative four hundred negativeive hundreds. So
what that meant.
Speaker 11 (20:21):
If it's negative four hundred, that means if you bet
four hundred, is the only one hundred dollars back child?
Speaker 4 (20:25):
It was all got fifty cent came back online.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
The bet was nothing.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
It was just it was just he was trying to
say that that he wasn't gonna post pictures with a
show just like him.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
That's that's where he was going.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
One hundred percent. But I think it's just funny that
in real life he's even posting this and then he's
sitting when he posted it, He's sitting there with the hookah.
But fifty cent came back online and posted and respond
to him and allege that his son and the family
are like skimmers. It was like a whole It was
just very fifty cent ish on Father's Day.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
That's crazy with.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
His oldest son. But you know, other people had some
better experiences with their dads. Tyree is one celebrity that
I saw. I thought that this was special. He surprised
his dad for Father's Day. Brother's dad flowers for the
first time ever on Father's Day. His dad is battle
on stage four cancer. Let's take a listen.
Speaker 10 (21:11):
My father does not know I'm here, and my father
is dealing with stage four cancer.
Speaker 15 (21:17):
I'm about to surprise him.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
He doesn't know I'm here, and I know I've had
a strained relationship.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
With my father over the years, and when my mom
got divorced.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Super early and he was an absent tee Pops, But
you gotta put all that stuff to the side.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
I'm hand delivering his son's album.
Speaker 10 (21:37):
I'm also, for the first time ever in my life,
I got my father some flowers for Father's Day.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Going in to see what happens. I don't even know
how I'm going to process this. Talk to him on the.
Speaker 17 (21:48):
Phone, but I haven't seen him in almost ten years.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
Terry kerry Man.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
Tyree's face lit up. So he walks into his dad's
house in this video and he hits the corner and
then the video stops. What you see. Tyree's face light
up when his dad said, Tyrese my son, and he's
walking in with the flowers.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
So he hasn't seen his dad and he said over
ten years. Yes, it's the.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
First time he brought his dad ham flowers on Father's Day.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
And then also speaking of dad, did these kids also
wish their dad a happy Father's Day. Justin posted Happy
Father's Day, Pops. Thank you for giving me life and
always being present by Superhero. I'm with you forever no
matter what. I miss you and I love you. Christian
posted Happy Father's Day, Pops. I love you and I
miss you. Were waiting for you at home. I saw
(22:36):
baby Love post Happy Father's Day as well. There was
just a lot of outpouring of love. Giaz put up
a really really nice post a U NV.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
It was beautiful.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
It was so beautiful.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
Try you did, I did? I did?
Speaker 4 (22:49):
I feel like she always talks about you like that though.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
That's my baby, Like you know, I told you this
this week and the best part of Father's Day weekend
was just seeing her smiling and her having a good time.
I'm and my kids smiling and my kids exciting.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
That's what makes me happy.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Seeing them smile and seeing them happy that means I
did what I was supposed to do. And god, damn,
my wife looked like she's like twenty four years old.
So good, Oh my good way. I wanted to have
another kid, and I thought about it.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
I'll be like.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Jesus, I'm like Jesus. She looks so goddamn beautiful.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
That wedding ring and the girls ship video go off
in the A rock baby, so damn amazing. Yeah, she said,
we love that. I know, because you're so serious. I'm
sitting here with you. You really probably would have had
another baby this.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Week thinking about it a minute, a mad time pull
out game this week.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
And I was like, oh no college.
Speaker 5 (23:41):
But but what stopped that was Peyton and the damn
y busting my head on Father's Day.
Speaker 12 (23:48):
Exactly what a birth control right there?
Speaker 3 (23:50):
You know what it was, the wrong busting. It was
she got busting and I didn't want that one.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
But you know, right, Yes, her words are always so sweet,
tee though. She said that You've always been on it's
like wanting to create a family, wanted to be a dad,
So yeah, and that was the best thing that ever.
Are just so adorable way shout all of the new
celebrity dads this weekend. That got some love online. There's
a lot more people though. Oprah the Obama's Michelle Obama
(24:18):
posted for Barack Obama justin Timberlake got a shout out,
of course. Sierra held down Russell Wilson with an amazing
caption as well, talked about how much she loved him
and how much they appreciate him as well. So, yeah,
it was a heartfelt Father's day after we got through
fifty in his back and forth.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
All right, well that is the latest with Loby.
Speaker 6 (24:35):
Birthdaypac is Tupac birthday.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
It's Pot's birthday today.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Yeah, we're gonna get some Pot on in the mix
in a little bit, all right, everybody else when we
come back. We got front page news and then Memphis
Bleak could be joining us.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
It don't go anywhere. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning morning.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
Everybody is DJ NVY just hilarious. Charlamagneya god, we are
the Breakfast Club. Let's get back in some front page
news so quick. Fourth Game five of the NBA Finals
is tonight thirty pm Eastern Time, the Paces versus OKC.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
The series is now tied to too.
Speaker 6 (25:05):
What's up, Morgan, Hey, yeah, hey, so if you saw
it over the weekend.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
Officials in Minnesota are providing more details on the capture
of the suspect and the killing of Minnesota lawmakers. There
was this crazy man hunt that was happening over the
weekend with Vance Bolter. He's accused of killing state lawmaker
Melissa Hortman and her husband. He also is accused of
shooting Democratic Senator John Hoffman and his wife vet Now,
Bolter was captured alive near green Isle after being spotted
(25:32):
on a trail on Sunday by a camera.
Speaker 6 (25:34):
Brooklyn Park Police Chief Mark.
Speaker 5 (25:36):
Burley told reporters that the chase to capture Bolter was
the largest man hunt in the state's history and included
hundreds of detectives and twenty different swat teams. Now, Minnesota
Governor Tim Wallas provided the first information following his arrest
on Sunday, adding that we have to find a better
way to deal with our differences as authorities do believe
that this attack was politically motivated. Now superto of Bureau
(26:01):
of the Superintendent of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Drew
Evans also says it appears Bolter acted by himself. So
let's take a listen to those comments from Minnesota Governor
Tim Walls and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Drew Evans.
Speaker 18 (26:14):
After two day manhunt, two sleepless nights law enforcement of
apprehended Vance Bolter. This cannot be the norm, It cannot
be the way that we deal with our political differences.
Now's the time for us to recommit to the core
values of this country.
Speaker 9 (26:31):
We are confident that the violence that he committed in
the murders, he committed in the attempted murders, that he
conducted that activity alone.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
Evans went on to say that Bolter was armed when
he was taken in, and of course Governor Tim Walls
also detailed that Hoffman is out of surgery and moving
towards recovery.
Speaker 6 (26:51):
So just tragic situation there.
Speaker 5 (26:54):
And it was also detailed that, you know, Minnesota usually
has a fairly open courtrooms and state houses and things
like that, not so much that they even have metal
detectors in their areas. So now, of course, you know
there's an increase in heightened security in regards to Minnesota
and their uh there there elected officials and you know,
(27:14):
things of that nature.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
There's heightened security around them.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
Very said officials have security, no, not.
Speaker 6 (27:20):
At all personal They yeah, they usually do.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
What they were saying that Minnesota is has not been
like the culture has not been needed for that. So
uh yeah, their state houses, their courthouses, things of that nature.
There hasn't even been a metal detectors. So but now
after this there has been a heightened security and uh,
those elected officials are do have a detail with them
as of as of now, Wellgan, it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
I went to the emergency room yesterday and they wanted
me down. So the fact that the state House doesn't
have metal detectives is crazy.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
But I saw them for real.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
I was like, wait, what.
Speaker 4 (27:53):
Was he officers? He was, yes, he was.
Speaker 6 (27:57):
He was impersonating an officer.
Speaker 4 (27:58):
Well, I say, someone had to want them down though,
But yeah, okay.
Speaker 5 (28:02):
But they but that's the thing. That's that's what they
were saying, is the culture is they didn't. That wasn't
what they did there. You know, I know we're used
to it on the East Coast because I mean from
schools to to your point, courthouses, that's just the norm.
But they were saying that that's not the norm. There
that you know, anybody can walk into these state houses,
these courthouses, these types of buildings and nobody is being searched.
Speaker 6 (28:22):
So oh, hopefully forward they stopped that because yeah, I'm
sure they learned that lesson.
Speaker 5 (28:28):
I hope they did, you know, and you know, of
course thoughts and prayers to those who passed in regards
to this.
Speaker 8 (28:34):
Now.
Speaker 6 (28:34):
So here's to uh some international news.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyaho is defending his countries military
actions against Iran.
Speaker 6 (28:42):
Now.
Speaker 5 (28:42):
In an interview with Fox News on Sunday, net and
yah who said Israel will do whatever is necessary to
remove the nuclear threat that Iran poses, and he went
on to say that their military actions protect more than
just Israel. Let's take a listen to Israel Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyao.
Speaker 8 (28:59):
We had to act was the twelfth hour. We did
act to save ourselves, but also I think to not
only protect ourselves, but protect the world from this incendiary regime.
We can't have the world's most dangerous regime have the
world's most dangerous weapons. We're protecting ourselves, but by doing so,
we're protecting many others.
Speaker 5 (29:18):
So the escalation of the air strikes and missile attacks
had resulted in a growing number of deaths in both countries. Meanwhile,
President Trump claimed in a post on truth Social that
the US could easily get a deal done between Iran
and Israel and end this bloody conflict. Iran and the
US were supposed to have a round of nuclear talks
in the country, but those have been canceled as a
(29:39):
result of this conflict.
Speaker 6 (29:41):
So we'll see what happens as a result of that.
Speaker 5 (29:43):
And of course, President Trump also rejected inn Israeli proposal
to target around Supreme Leader. According to reports, Trump turned
down a plan to kill excuse me, Aya Tola Alchemny,
and in an interview with Fox News, Prime Minister Benjamin
and Yahoo dismissed what he calls false reports about discussions
between the US and Israel. Word of the proposal comes
(30:06):
as Iran threatens to strike US military targets if it
continues to help Israel defend against Iranian airstrikes. But Trump
also said he put he issued a warning to Iran
saying that Yah needs to stay away from the US,
do not target us.
Speaker 6 (30:20):
We had nothing to do with all of that with Israel.
Speaker 5 (30:23):
Senate majority leader John Thune He reiterated the President's points
on Fox News on Sunday, saying the President saying the
US will be ready if Iran takes action. Let's take
a listen to Senate Majority Leader John Thune.
Speaker 19 (30:35):
Iran should be prepared for all of America's might to
send upon them if they go after and target Americans
or American bases or installations in the Middle East.
Speaker 6 (30:46):
He warned.
Speaker 5 (30:47):
Of course, if the US is attacked in any way,
shape or formed by Iran, the full strength and might
of the US armed forces will come down on you
at levels never seen before.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
That's what he said.
Speaker 5 (30:58):
Trump also claimed that the US could easily Oh, we
talked about those deals, but yeah, it looks like things
right now are at a stalemate between the US and
Iran and regarding any kind of deal, whether it be
the nuclear deal or whether it be trying to get
these cease fires done. But yeah, right now, the conflict
continues to escalate. And I will keep you guys posted
as of what's going on with that. And in my
(31:20):
last story, the G seven leaders are gathering in Canada
for policy discussions on trade and other topics. President Trump
is in Alberta today as the world's economic powerhouse begins
a crucial three day summit. The meetings take on heightened
importance ahead of President Trump's tarift deadline and the escalating
crisis of course in the Middle East. As I just
talked about, senior White House officials have been quietly downplaying
(31:41):
expectations of any major breakthroughs on trade agreement.
Speaker 6 (31:45):
So we'll keep you guys posted.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
It looks like we've got a active week ahead. So
but that's your front page news. I'm Morgan wood. Y'all
can follow me on socials at Morgan Media and for
more news coverage follow at Black Information Network, download the
free iHeartRadio app, and visit us at vii in news
dot com.
Speaker 6 (32:00):
Thank y'all have a happy Monday, all.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
Right, Morgan, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
Now, when we come back, we're throwing back a little bit.
Memphis Bleak will be joining us Rock Nation Rockefeller and
we'll talk.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
To him next. It's The Breakfast Club. Good Morning, The Breakfast.
Speaker 15 (32:12):
Club, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
Everybody is the j n V jes hilarious, Charlamagne the guy.
We are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest
in the building.
Speaker 13 (32:22):
You've got a new podcast called The Rock Dolard podcast
on the Drink Hand Black Off Podcast Network, Memphis Bleak
is hell.
Speaker 12 (32:29):
I'm saying, blizz who in the building with some lady.
That's my guy right here.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
I never met dry ladies, you know, I just met
her on I g oh, yeah, I mean I seen
I've seen you show some love.
Speaker 12 (32:42):
I show love back.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
You know, man, listen your ass.
Speaker 5 (32:45):
Don't age when I say you look good, thank you.
When I was younger and you look good.
Speaker 12 (32:49):
Now, thank you. I'm trying to win. I'm trying you
hear that wife for you better watch out, girl.
Speaker 4 (32:58):
This personality blocker space. Now my age is stress.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
I know, Riot strap, I'm not. I'm not trying to
get into the controversy of the blogger space. I'm trying
to bring some jokes. I want to be like I
feel like my podcast. I want to be like the
sitcom when we was younger. You know, you had just
smack DVDs, your your your wild moments, but then you
could go into crib and watch the Marty. You're going
to crib and watch some fresh prints and you know,
(33:21):
get back to your sense of humor. I feel like
that's what my space. I want to be just enjoying.
I don't want no clickbait.
Speaker 13 (33:27):
It's interesting though, most people who actually have gotten active
industry don't want problems.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
No, no, no, I love I love this life I live.
I don't got to watch my back. I don't need
no strap.
Speaker 12 (33:38):
I'm good. I love it.
Speaker 13 (33:40):
I even seen people say things about you on social
media and you just you just laugh at all.
Speaker 12 (33:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Yeah, Cause it's like I'm from the era, you know,
in the hood that like the more anger you show,
the more laughter comes to follow.
Speaker 12 (33:54):
So I really learned that young. It's like you don't
show you.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
They can't show people that they even penetrate, creak the
armor you wear anything. So I'm always laughing off, even
though I might be pissed, but you'll never.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
See that, you know.
Speaker 13 (34:07):
You know, most people start a podcast, I guess, to
build some credibility. You already got credibility. So what do
you want to say on the podcast that you haven't
said on records or an interview.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
I feel like people don't know my personality, Like you know,
back in our day, you could be whatever you want
it because all they know was a source magazine picture.
They see you on BT or MTV, your video by
your album and that's all they knew of you. Like now,
on Instagram, people get to see your everyday life. So
if you're com boar, you're cornball for real. So it's
(34:37):
like now on the podcast, what I want to let
people know is the personality and just some of the
stories behind the things that we've done that you might
have been questioning, how did that happen? Why did this happen?
Why wasn't Bleak involved in this? Or why wasn't Beings
or this person involved? So we had to answer those questions.
Speaker 13 (34:54):
You know, you know, you've been in rooms with some
of the biggest names in music, right but on Rock
Solid are their stories you finally feel comfortable telling now
that you couldn't back then.
Speaker 1 (35:05):
No, I don't think I ever played that role in
the game, Like I never We never came in the
game as a crew with images up.
Speaker 12 (35:12):
Hell, we always were just who we were.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I believed in integrity was gonna take you as far
as you needed to go. So it was never no
rap image I portrayed or something. But it's just things
I can't talk about now because the big homie married.
Speaker 12 (35:26):
We married, so oh my god, I can't you know,
I got a PG it. I can't trade it.
Speaker 15 (35:35):
Like, so you and your wife ever watched backstage again?
Speaker 20 (35:40):
No?
Speaker 12 (35:41):
I can never watch that one.
Speaker 8 (35:42):
No way.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
I have to tell that wasn't me.
Speaker 12 (35:45):
The guys she know today, that's not him.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
All bad a parting backstage with one of y'all.
Speaker 15 (35:49):
I think it's you. We'd be like all the Texas
or something that half the country or something.
Speaker 12 (35:55):
Did it reversed it?
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 20 (35:57):
I was on.
Speaker 12 (35:58):
We was battling and not record. We had verses for real.
Speaker 6 (36:04):
So any upcoming guests that you want, is it out yet?
Speaker 3 (36:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:08):
We just the first episode with jo so that that
did really good. A lot of people didn't know me
and Joe had that relationship. So that's the things like
I want people to understand, like behind the scenes, behind
the music, we real regular people.
Speaker 12 (36:21):
Like my first friend in the music business was j R.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
Like, you know, people from the outside would think it
was Beans or Freeway or somebody from Rockefeller. The first
person I met hanging out riding around with was joh
Like people don't know.
Speaker 12 (36:35):
Even Nick Cannon. Nick Cannon used to be in Mossy
with us.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Like because my friend, this kid from my projects named
clap rest in Peace. He actually used to write for
Nick like.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
We all was managed by the second producer.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
I mean the same manager, you know, b Hot Jay
Cousin was managed all three of us, Nick, Me and
Clip you know what.
Speaker 12 (37:02):
So he used to spit.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
Yeah, he told yeah, been a priority.
Speaker 9 (37:10):
He was.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
He was.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
He was always talking about going in the show biz
back then too, like like music was never his thing.
So to see where he took it in what he
do is like you lick Like I've just seen him
at the Super Bowl h February, you know, and I'm like,
I need to get on that show cause y'all freestyling,
battling this, and that's that's my that's my area. So
you know, I'm gonna go do that. He definitely got
(37:32):
to pull up to the podcast.
Speaker 15 (37:33):
What was Nick doing in Marcy?
Speaker 12 (37:35):
Just chilling though, just regular stuff, Like you know, he
was a regular dude.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
This before the thing, before any of this but the
kids and all of that crazy crap.
Speaker 12 (37:45):
This was just regular Nick on the block, hanging out.
He just wanted to be in the hood.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
Like a lot of people that met us back then
was on some Yo, you're from Marcie. I want to
go because you couldn't go to Marsie back if you
didn't know somebody, or go with somebody certified. Wasn't the
walking through Massie. So a lot of people they want
to experience it now.
Speaker 15 (38:04):
Y'all made it sound fun. You did make sound like
can Coon a little.
Speaker 12 (38:07):
Bit, a little bit, you know a little bit. For us,
it was because we were the guys. But anybody couldn't
do that.
Speaker 15 (38:14):
So your man used to go straight for Nick Cannon.
Speaker 12 (38:16):
Yeah, yeah, man, he get like what what record was?
Speaker 1 (38:19):
I don't know it was those records, but it was
like his demos to help him get a deal, like
when he first was rapping, first doing this thing like yeah,
Nickus was in.
Speaker 12 (38:28):
The studio with us and all of that.
Speaker 15 (38:30):
It was nice.
Speaker 12 (38:31):
I always thought he was talented.
Speaker 15 (38:32):
I ain't say that, I said you thought he was.
Speaker 12 (38:34):
I always thought he was a couple of times you
give the guys your dang Nick got a classic.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
I think that's the fear of every artist, like yah,
they gonna rock with me or somebody gonna be like
dang Nick.
Speaker 4 (38:56):
I mean, especially being around y'all, though, like that's a
different that are very different rappers.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
But it was it was rough, like growing up, like
just even being in the Rockefeller Camp Baseline studios. Remember
we only had two rooms with fourteen artists, so it's
like you couldn't be in there playing with balls. You
had to get out if you was laying something that
wasn't rocking, They it's time to go. We got six
people waiting for that space.
Speaker 13 (39:22):
So sleuthing Nick, though, definitely you speak about Baseline. You
were the first artists to be called the head to
jay Z's throne. Like Jay called you the head to
the throne. What's something you learned about pressure and expectation
that took That took some time for you to understand it's.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
Not reality, like people will put limits and expectations on
you that you don't have for yourself or even see.
Speaker 12 (39:49):
Like when Jay said that, I.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
Was like, I'm the new it proof. What since when
who told you? They didn't tell me that, so it
was like, oh, work. So it's like, you know, you
gotta do thing and write and try to better yourself,
learn the game, learn perfect your role.
Speaker 12 (40:05):
But the dominoes don't always fall the way you hope.
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
Of course, I wanted to be the biggest one to
be this, but unfortunately I grew up with the sun
and it's like any fire I put out, he burnt out.
Speaker 12 (40:17):
So it was nothing I could do. I just accept
my spot. But he was capping.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
You didn't see in yourself, that's what I He definitely
did it to this day, like you know, Jay pushed
me to do.
Speaker 12 (40:29):
I send them music.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
It's so weird because I got a new project coming
out right on the twentieth cor Apart in three D.
It's probably like my third album I recorded since my
last studio album, the first two. He doesn't shut down.
So when I started sending them records from this one
and he like, this is it. You're doing your.
Speaker 12 (40:47):
Thing, I'm like, what changed?
Speaker 1 (40:49):
I'm still trying to figure out what changed, because now
it's like you rocking with all the joints.
Speaker 15 (40:55):
What happened?
Speaker 12 (40:56):
I think, you know, it's just where you're at in
your life and what you're talking about.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
We're still kicking it with Memphis Blake.
Speaker 13 (41:02):
People always know you from the music with Jay, righty like, oh,
that's Jay's protege.
Speaker 12 (41:06):
But yo, y'all grew up together in the But that's
the thing we grew up to, not together.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
People think that like they gotta remember Jay is like
the big brother, like the uncle, like I was the kid,
like one of his nephews.
Speaker 15 (41:20):
On the black.
Speaker 12 (41:20):
He didn't hang with me.
Speaker 1 (41:21):
He came and got me, like see me doing reckless stuff.
He would, you know, put me on the right track,
correct me, give me gang.
Speaker 12 (41:28):
But it wasn't no hanging out. It was like, all right,
I see you. That's Jay with that fan. I see you.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
So the day when I seen it with Clark Kent
Rest in Peace, it was like, man, he always pulling
up with the illess cards, the baddest joints. Man, I
gotta get on this boat. I gotta find out how
to be a passenger on that boat. So I just
shot my shot and they weren't.
Speaker 6 (41:46):
Well.
Speaker 13 (41:46):
What was something he taught you during that era that
fans wouldn't know that we might hear on the On
the Rock Sylar podcast.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Everything you see, man, just the life I lived, the
man I am like Jay taught me. I learned from him,
Biggs Dang, my manager be high. I could say it
was a collective thing, because without them, who knows where
I'll be in life right now.
Speaker 12 (42:08):
But one of the main things I learned from Jay
is stay on top of your business.
Speaker 13 (42:14):
Man.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
Don't like we got manager's lawyers all of that, but
nobody know what you want but you and what you're
gonna get with with you, So stay on top of
your business. That's why I just had to talk with
him this morning because you know, with the Rock Solid podcast,
we had the rock logo on the podcast. But of course,
you know, people wait till the last day to try
to get you to handle business. So I'm like, yo,
(42:36):
I can't put that pressure on Jay right now here
on tour with his wife doing you know, I don't
want to be talking business.
Speaker 12 (42:42):
So but I did send a message.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
So we talked about it today and he like, yo, bro,
I don't just be licening my my logo and my
likeness out to anybody.
Speaker 20 (42:50):
You know.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
I'm like, I've been in this game forever. What makes
you think I don't I own my show like stingoing
to nobody else. And You're like, I'm like, I learned
from the nobody owns anything you do, and now why
would I give away anything I do?
Speaker 6 (43:05):
So do you think as a as an artist?
Speaker 15 (43:07):
Right?
Speaker 5 (43:07):
Because I know you said you learned a lot from
Jay business wise, right, do you think as an artist,
if you would have signed to somebody else, you would
have been a bigger artist.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
Nah, probably be I probably wouldn't be here cause you know,
you get your one and done, your two albums, you've done.
That's what made me. It's so weird, all right, that's
what made me sign with Jay. I remember my manager
be hogh, he ain't gonna like that.
Speaker 12 (43:27):
I'm telling this story.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
We had an offer from Capitol Records, right, They wanted
to give me three point fifty with a seventy five.
Speaker 12 (43:34):
Thousand dollars signing bonus.
Speaker 1 (43:35):
And I was like, nah, they didn't want it, and
he like, yo, you know what seventy five thousand dollars
could do for you? It'd change everything in your household,
like these was Marci struggling days. And I'm like, I
feel you, But that seventy five thousand dollars come from
somebody I don't know. So today my train slipped. They
not going to invest back in the train to get
me back on track. So I'd rather roll with Hoe.
(43:56):
And it's before Jay, it wasn't no Rockefeller. He was
still this was reasonable doubt on priority Jay, and he
was like, yo, but what if you know Rockefeller is
a dream of j What if it never manifests? And
I'm like, then it'll never be no bleak. I'm cool
with that, you know, but my dice is with somebody
that I know, rather than enroll on somebody I don't.
(44:20):
This was during reasonable doubt. It's reasonable doubt came out
on priority. A lot of people think it came out
on death jam, but it didn't.
Speaker 4 (44:27):
I was literally gonna say, people talk so much about
your loyalty, and that story speaks to it, right, how
has your loyalty had to change as y'all grew because
you've known him for so You've known jay Z for
so long, like it's been.
Speaker 12 (44:38):
It's so long.
Speaker 15 (44:39):
Excuse me.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
It's weird seeing what people what I always saw in him,
because to me, he was always larger than life. Some
kids grow up looking at sports players, movie stars.
Speaker 12 (44:52):
My next door neighbor was my inspiration.
Speaker 1 (44:54):
I go outside. He has because nobody had. I look
at his neck, he wearing Jerry No one in the
projects can afford. You know, he's flying, traveling places. Member
Jay got a picture in London and the BMW. It's
like nineteen ninety three, It's like ninety two, Like nobody
wasn't traveling like that back then. So he was my
(45:14):
inspiration to get money, so to watch the world see
him as the billionaire he always been at the me.
So I don't think anything changed because the day I
decided to be like, yo, I want to get money,
I knew I want to get money like them them tie.
Speaker 13 (45:31):
Tying all the Oh my god, it's funny even, you know,
not the Lawrence question so kind of. But you know,
you see people online saying things like bleak too.
Speaker 3 (45:41):
Loyal to Jay?
Speaker 15 (45:42):
Like how is this some thing as being too loyal
to some much? I don't know, especially if it's recipro.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
Yeah, like how can you be too? I don't know
no other way. I don't know no other person. Like
what I'm supposed to do, what they wanted me to do.
I don't know who I was gonna get a deal with.
Speaker 12 (45:56):
We're artists.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
I'm gonna go sign with another artist and be like yo,
I'm this crew. Now that'll never happened. So it's just
like when Rockefeller died. That's why they ever chased music,
Cause it's like, what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna be
g unick, I'm gonna go be this guy over here.
Speaker 12 (46:10):
I'm never If it ain't Rockefeller, it ain't nothing.
Speaker 13 (46:13):
If you could go back to one session from the
early rock days, not to changeing, but just to reliv it,
what would.
Speaker 1 (46:20):
It be and why let me see, I'm gonna tell
you another story people don't know. On the Clue tape,
I remember it was Jay Z and Source Money. My
first time me include they invite us to the studio.
Jay and Source Money they murdered a verse. Now mind you,
I'm fifteen years old sitting there like, and y'all want
me to rhyme after these.
Speaker 12 (46:40):
Two guys, I don't think it's gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (46:42):
And Clue like, yo, go ahead, So j like, Yo,
you're gonna give up an opportunity.
Speaker 12 (46:46):
You got a shot right now, you better write son
And I'm looking at him like I ain't got it.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
After what y'all said, I don't think it's nothing I
could say. So I missed that opportunity. And when that
tape came out, it was like one of the biggest
free style in Marcia. By playing it going crazy through
Brooklyn and I'm like, I was right there.
Speaker 12 (47:05):
I could have been a part of it. So if
anything would be that. And on the J R.
Speaker 1 (47:11):
Kelly album Best of Both Worlds, if you listen to it,
he was like if one of the songs, I think
it was somebody girl is at this party song? If
you listen to the beginning, he saved my name em
extra money, Let's go.
Speaker 12 (47:23):
And I never wrote my verse.
Speaker 6 (47:25):
Right, little scared ass man.
Speaker 12 (47:27):
No see we had a thing that Rockefeller. It wasn't scared.
It's called with balls.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
When you think you too lit, you out here doing
too much that you ain't got time for the balls.
Speaker 12 (47:39):
It wasn't this clue take was shookness.
Speaker 1 (47:42):
The R.
Speaker 12 (47:42):
Kelly was, I was lit. I'm outside the thirties on me.
Speaker 15 (47:45):
I'm lit.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
I ain't got time being the studio. That's how I
got clipped on Value one too. I thinking I was
too lit, and they left me went on the tour
with bad Boy Biggie and them. I missed it, missed
the old tour.
Speaker 15 (47:57):
What what in my lifetime?
Speaker 3 (47:58):
I boty won what you was doing? Though?
Speaker 9 (48:00):
I was?
Speaker 1 (48:00):
I was lit in Brooklyn, I had I just bought
a truck from Skaying, I got TVs twenty six is
on it.
Speaker 12 (48:07):
I'm sixteen years old.
Speaker 1 (48:09):
I'm at every high school in Brooklyn blasting music. That's
what I'm doing. I thought I made it.
Speaker 12 (48:13):
I didn't know it was the rest of this. I
just thought being known to a I'm.
Speaker 6 (48:20):
Lit, this is it and then got left off.
Speaker 1 (48:25):
Yeah, and that's the time Jay came to the crib
and gave me a too. I spoke about this on
drink Champs and he was like, yo, dog, I'm rich.
I'm trying to make you like put your family on
like I don't need you, you need me. And that
was the last time I missed anything.
Speaker 3 (48:40):
Were still kicking it with Memphis Bleak Charlamagne.
Speaker 15 (48:42):
Another thing that was going around.
Speaker 13 (48:44):
Dame started and he said, you don't write your own
rhymes to write for you and then her Beanie say
that too on it.
Speaker 12 (48:50):
I want to know why I never went triple platinum?
Then why ain't following up them? J sels?
Speaker 1 (48:55):
If Jay wrote these records, why the publisher checks come
to me? I should have ask caps send these people
my record break down. They could see that four hundred
and seventy five records in all the splits, and I understand,
like on title it actually shows credits. If somebody if
I wrote something for somebody, even if you my man,
nah dog, I need my PC. Jay wrote coming to
(49:19):
Age one, Coming Age two. I had no input at
all on those records. When I showed up, it was
a piece of paper. Remember this, do your thing like, okay, cool,
you go through dumb records. You're not gonna see my name.
You go do any other record that I'm Malik Cox
is on. The real MC is involved, So I don't
know where that n realith came from. Beans is the main.
Speaker 12 (49:41):
One that got me, like, fam, you doing that much drugs?
You don't remember being in the studio with me? Are
you set? You bugging? Like Dane was never in the
studio with us, so he wouldn't have a clue.
Speaker 1 (49:55):
Beans, Come on, you was in the studio with us
every single day, spent about twenty years in baseline, and
Jay wrote my rhymes.
Speaker 12 (50:04):
But you never saw it. That's coming. I saw a
ghost once too there.
Speaker 13 (50:10):
But when you said you're coming to age one and two?
Yeah okay, So did you ever want him to write
for you?
Speaker 12 (50:16):
Right now? Let me a verse right now, put me
back on, baby, let's get licked.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
Kidding me man, Like when you when you want somebody
to do something for your axe.
Speaker 12 (50:26):
For that you're giving the way, it's the same thing
that's giving away your money.
Speaker 1 (50:29):
Like you're publishing. That's the only way we really made money.
A lot of US rappers never recoup the budgets we
spent on these albums. So your publishing is the.
Speaker 12 (50:37):
Only way you make money. And Joe taught me about publishing.
Speaker 1 (50:41):
So if Jay wrote my rhymes like I said, I
wouldn't be receiving no publishing checks.
Speaker 12 (50:45):
It don't make no sense the rhymes he write I
get paid for.
Speaker 6 (50:49):
How are you gonna have beans on as a guest?
Speaker 1 (50:54):
Oh yeah, I need to have beings up there cause
we gotta get a We gotta get this settled. Then
talk about you know, the life we live. But you
haven't even spoken since he said that. Nah, you know,
And I guess that's the thing I love.
Speaker 13 (51:04):
Man, Like we always hear about these studio moments, but like,
what's a non music moment with with anybody from Rockefeller
that really just sticks with you through the year?
Speaker 1 (51:13):
Man, Like, you know what one thing that always bugged
me out? Bust the rhymes I love Buster splip start
on my bros.
Speaker 12 (51:19):
I love them.
Speaker 1 (51:20):
But I remember one time I think it was Jay
called Bust to the studio to do a song with him.
It Buster showed up to baseline with a bulletproof vests on.
Speaker 12 (51:28):
It blew my mind like, yeah, like Buster guy beats me?
Why I try to kill Bust? The rhymes?
Speaker 1 (51:35):
We gotta go get them manyat buck it This is
a New York staple And that really had me like,
I kinda find.
Speaker 3 (51:42):
Out what Buster into?
Speaker 12 (51:43):
What the hell you walking around with.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
A vest for?
Speaker 12 (51:45):
You know, just one of those moments I'll never forget.
Speaker 13 (51:48):
At any one point, did you feel like Jay was
drifting too far from the crew And if so, how
do you even address that when he's not just you.
Speaker 15 (51:55):
Know, you're big homie, but also like get the ball.
Speaker 12 (51:58):
I knew he had to, but Jada be where he at.
He couldn't be around us every day.
Speaker 1 (52:02):
We couldn't be I'm a liability, like you know me
now being married, being a business man, of course things
has changed, but the reckless bleak you couldn't be around us.
Anything could happen and then it spills right back to you.
So when Jay started doing these billionaire deals basketball teams,
moving teams from here to Brooklyn, you automatically knew the
(52:23):
distance was warranted. It's not that he don't rock with
you or don't rock with us. Hey dog, I'm over
here getting to these millions. Y'all still in the club
popping bottles.
Speaker 12 (52:32):
I don't need that.
Speaker 4 (52:33):
Look, how did you understand something like that? Though? But
like a Beanie didn't, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (52:37):
And you try to tell these guys that's the thing,
if you really sit down. See a lot of people
when they do these cameras cut off.
Speaker 12 (52:43):
They got an image. They gotta you know, they gotta
keep it up. I'm this guy. I can't let nobody.
Speaker 1 (52:48):
But if they really really sit down and have a real,
real conversation with the reality pills on the table, not
the other drugs, the reality pills, they'll tell you. I
told these guys this was because I used to get
the word from Big Homer, Yo, just don't ship up.
Speaker 12 (53:04):
They don't act right. We're gonna do this.
Speaker 1 (53:06):
We're gonna I used to be telling these guys, yo,
it's only a matter of time for it's over. We
gotta get this right. And they used to look at
me like and whatever, I remember time right, beans had
his clothing line state property. We used to get clothes
boxes of state property. So I looked at the state
property and say, manufactured by Rockaway. So I'm telling him
(53:26):
as a brother, yo, bro, check your contracts and all that.
Make sure everything right, like because I see it's manufactured
by Rockaway. I don't think Rockaway was making their own clothes.
So how they're making your clothes like this? As a
business man, this was like then seen right. And this
was at the time where he was saying, Yo, I'm
going to jail. I'm gonna sign Freeway and the young
guns the Rockefeller. When I come home, they gonna give
(53:47):
them back the state property. And I'm just sitting there like, oh,
you think business work like this? So I'm trying to
tell him these things like he looked at me. This
is when I knew me and beans wasn't. It wasn't
the relationship wasn't saying because he was like, Yo, it
sounds like you hating on me, fam, And I'm like
what you mean? He like, Yo, if j your man,
like you say why you ain't got no record label,
(54:09):
why you ain't got no clothing line? Dang, my man,
you taking care of me all this? And I'm like,
I feel you, but you know why I don't have
those things because my bro would never exploit my ideas
for him to make a bag. That's what you need
to realize they're taking your ideas. And then when he
came from jail way he said, Dan ain't wanly two
(54:30):
million should have listened to Blizzard.
Speaker 12 (54:34):
But like I said, Jay, not my man though, So.
Speaker 4 (54:40):
What was getting to the bottom of the manufacturing? What
ended up being behind that?
Speaker 1 (54:44):
What was that?
Speaker 12 (54:45):
That was his business? I never got into it. It
just was a red flag to me.
Speaker 1 (54:48):
Like if I'm gonna do a deal with you and
you're gonna make my clothes, I need to know who
the manufacturer is. It's just like I did a deal
with drink Champs, right, I know Drink Champs, y'all, y'all
had to deal with somebody.
Speaker 12 (55:00):
I start on y'all network.
Speaker 1 (55:01):
I need to know who the plug is black effects, Like,
I can't just be we need to know what's going
on here, you know what I'm saying, Like, I can't
just rely on you when you relying on somebody else.
I need to know all the moving parts. And that's
as any businessman should. You want to know the moving parts.
You don't just want to receive the checks because one
day they gonna stop. Then you don't know how to
(55:21):
pick them back up. It's insane, that's real.
Speaker 8 (55:23):
You know.
Speaker 13 (55:24):
I named I named it Black Effect because the jay
Z song Black Effect Wow. I reached out to him
to get the blessing Wow to call it Black Effects.
Speaker 3 (55:34):
And the logo was.
Speaker 13 (55:36):
Emery's guy that designed. I said, y'all want something like
the paper Planes logo.
Speaker 1 (55:39):
And with Yo, God bless use. When I found out, man,
I've been hearing it forever. And when they said yo,
Charlamagne Old Blackafec.
Speaker 12 (55:47):
I'm like, yo, he is destroying the game. That's right, bro.
That's all you could do, man is pray and keep killing.
That's it, man.
Speaker 1 (55:56):
They only get one shot at this thing. A lot
of these guys think it's all about the glitz.
Speaker 8 (56:00):
Man.
Speaker 12 (56:01):
You could keep the glamor and the glitz.
Speaker 3 (56:02):
Give me the check.
Speaker 12 (56:03):
I gotta tell people credit, don't spend money due. I
don't want the credit.
Speaker 15 (56:08):
Now I'm driving.
Speaker 1 (56:09):
June twentieth, six twenty, we outside with it again called
Apartment three D, just the closure from five thirty four.
That's the address five three four, Apartment three D and.
Speaker 13 (56:19):

Speaker 15 (56:34):
It's breakfast Club Warning.
Speaker 2 (56:36):
Everybody's DJ NBA Celaborate Charlamagne the guy.
Speaker 3 (56:40):
We are the breakfast Club. Good morning. Let's get to
the latest with Lauren.
Speaker 16 (56:45):
Lauren be coming a straight fast.
Speaker 3 (56:48):
She gets them to somebody that knows, somebody gets the detail.
Speaker 4 (56:51):
I'm a long guard that knows a little bit about everything.
Speaker 15 (56:54):
She'd be having the latest on you.
Speaker 3 (56:57):
The latest with Lauren la Rosa.
Speaker 15 (57:00):
Actually, sometimes you have details, sometimes you have a little
bit of every time, it's the leader on.
Speaker 3 (57:04):
The Breakfast Club. Talk to me, y'all.
Speaker 4 (57:07):
Kanye West popped up at court to support Diddy.
Speaker 3 (57:10):
How long was he? This seems like it was over
there about seven minutes.
Speaker 4 (57:12):
It was real quick, but it was okay. So the
last time we talked about this here, I told y'all
that they had told me that he was in contact
with Christians, so aka he was going to try again.
He literally came It was probably for all of ten
to fifteen minutes altogether. He couldn't get into the main
courtroom where and to sit with the family. It was
an overflow room with you they were, so they were
trying to put them in an overflow room, but it
(57:33):
was just causing too much mayhem. Like we were in
so there's two overflow floors. We were in one of
the overflow floors and someone that came up and said, hey,
Kanye West is here. He's trying to get into court.
I assumed that they were just going to figure it
out because it's Kanye West. Of obviously he's here to
support Diddy, so he wants to sit with the family.
He had met Christian when he got there, but I
don't know if it was there. There's either two things.
(57:55):
There's a family list that's like a pre set list. Also,
they only have a certain number of people that you
can having that main courtroom. Between one of those two things,
he was not able to go in that room, so
they were gonna put him in his own overflow room,
but it was causing too much chaos even inside the court,
like the journalists from different outlets Florida Florida Floor trying
to find him.
Speaker 2 (58:12):
I seen him running around the courthouse, running up and
down just to get a picture.
Speaker 3 (58:15):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (58:16):
It was to the point where I literally was asking
the security inside. They on the phone, they trying to
figure it out. I'm like, what y'all gonna do. Y'all
can't put Kanye West in an overflow room, like there's
no way. But yeah, he showed up to support Diddy
by himself too. He was there by hisself.
Speaker 15 (58:29):
He can't.
Speaker 4 (58:29):
He had like a personal security guard. When I was
on my way out and I saw him, a Christian
and one of the handlers for the family trying to
I guess still figure it out. They're just trying to
get him away from the media, to get him to
his car.
Speaker 2 (58:40):
I mean, as the defense is starting to take his case.
I think it's pretty smart to try to get as
many celebrities as there as possible to show that people
are supporting Diddy, to show people.
Speaker 3 (58:50):
Are still with him. I think that's smart.
Speaker 2 (58:52):
I think it's a small thing because if the jurors
are there and they see any celebrities, it might, you know.
Speaker 4 (58:57):
See, but that was a conversation last week in the cotrooms.
So we think So there have been rumors around the
court that when it was first mentioned that he might
pop up, that that they were saying they.
Speaker 5 (59:07):
Didn't want to have like the wrong celebrities though, like
yeah have the great credibility like people popping up and
they know, yeah, they going through their own situation.
Speaker 6 (59:18):
They always in the media for some crazy ish like
you can't nobody popping.
Speaker 3 (59:22):
Up, like the people still love Yeah, even though he
does his ups and downs.
Speaker 4 (59:27):
It was insane. I ain't never seen nothing like that.
Like it was literally people running up and down. They
would have walked down twenty three floors to get the Kanye.
They knew they had to interviewed the end of it,
but talking about Diddy just was about to say something,
You're delayed, okay, So talking about Diddy, so he is
asking for a mistrial again. So another thing that was
happening in the court while all the Kanye mess was
going on was that there's one of the jurors. It's
(59:48):
Juror six. The judge wants to dismiss this juror. But
the judge is saying he will consider not dismissing him.
Actually today Now the issue is that they ask you
all these questions before you get on that jury's and
like you know, they asked you where you live, who
you live with. They just trying to see if you
can answer questions honestly you and if you can take instruction.
So he was, I guess, having conversation with some of
the juror's staff and mentioned that he moved that he
(01:00:11):
no longer lives in the Bronx and he now lives
in Jersey. He told the court he lives in the
Bronx with his kid's mom and his kid. So now
that's a red flag for the judge. They're like, yo,
what's going on? Like how are you? How is everything
so inconsistent? Are you able to actually answer questions honestly?
Diddy seem is like whoa, whoa, whoa wah wait, he's black.
We need him, like we need as many black jurors
(01:00:32):
as we can.
Speaker 3 (01:00:34):
Him.
Speaker 8 (01:00:34):
Bro.
Speaker 4 (01:00:35):
His profile is like listen to nineties hip hop. Need him.
So they fighting hard and court the judge asked, did
he like, you know, if we allow this juror to
stay on and something goes wrong because he's not he's
flip flopping, he's not consistent, and we see the issue.
Are you willing to waive your right to appeal because
of that juror and did he said he yes, But
now that the judge is considered and dismissed him, did,
(01:00:55):
He's like, Okay, if you dismiss him, I want a
mistrib because it's not fair. We don't have enough diversity
on this jury pool, which the judge is not going
to like. He made a big point on Friday and
when we were in court to say this is a
very diverse jewelry. Let's not even start that conversation. And
to give you all a breakdown, so y'all know, it's
twelve drawers. Four of them are white, eight or not.
And the reports are that five of the drawers are
(01:01:17):
are black, five of the eight are black.
Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
Diddy like, we can't lose this one.
Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
Nope, he's from the he knows nineties hip hop, he's
from the Bronx close to well from now, we're not
using this one.
Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
Nope, we're not losing this one.
Speaker 4 (01:01:28):
Jess, who's the celebrity I need to show up? That
makes sense for Diddy though, Like that's a good situation
if he shows up, because influence is a thing on
the drawers.
Speaker 16 (01:01:37):
Mary J.
Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
Blige Mary j would be a good one. Yeah, I
think one of the pastes that TX ain't going in there,
that would be a great one.
Speaker 4 (01:01:48):
No, no, not happy, that would be a great one.
Speaker 5 (01:01:50):
But I think I think we gave a Kirk Franklin one.
Probably you know, it'd be a good one.
Speaker 3 (01:01:59):
J J JLO will be a going j.
Speaker 4 (01:02:02):
Looking that Pike did. He was talking about if you
ever think.
Speaker 3 (01:02:06):
I ain't say none of it was gonna pop up.
Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
I it's crazy if you thought she was eaving Brake, yeh,
you just ask it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:14):
I'm just throwing out there, Drake, I don't know. You
gotta tell me about just to be before we got Yeah,
So well, can.
Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
We bring it next hour because there's a good audio
that I don't want to but justin Bieber, it's I mean,
people have been thinking that he's been having some sort
of like meltdown or something going on behind the scenes.
Speaker 5 (01:02:28):
He's definitely going through something, y'all really like he's going
through something for sure.
Speaker 4 (01:02:33):
Yes, Well, we got audio of him going off on
paparazzi and in some text after Father's Day. So we're
gonna talk about what we think he's going through in
the next hour.
Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
All right and everybody else. Charlemagne is out today.

Speaker 11 (01:03:36):
He did say a word to me.
Speaker 7 (01:03:38):
She ended up talking to him.
Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
Now she might be pregnant.
Speaker 7 (01:03:43):
They got three kids under the eight one.
Speaker 20 (01:03:46):
Luck to you.
Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
The way.
Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
Who who is this person? That's her cousin, it's my cousin.
You shouldn't give a donkey to day. You should be
happy because that could have been you, and it sounded
like it was about to be you.
Speaker 4 (01:03:57):
That cousin her dad and I.
Speaker 6 (01:04:01):
Dosh the bullet.
Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
Now did you meet it while he was in jail
or did you or did you meet him beforehand?
Speaker 5 (01:04:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (01:04:07):
So you was in jail doing years and I'm dangled
for seven years and he got out in twenty twenty.
Speaker 3 (01:04:18):
You met him in jail, so he's all right, man, No.
Speaker 6 (01:04:23):
No, don't meet no more guys in jail. And that's
that's all right period.
Speaker 3 (01:04:30):

the power of friendship, and it wasn't about to happen anyway.

not even giving them donkey for that.
Speaker 11 (01:04:51):

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
If you want a job, Yo, you're right.
Speaker 2 (01:05:11):

Lee at this point?
Speaker 14 (01:05:31):
Oh yo, ask me bro, I'll do it for sixty K.
Speaker 8 (01:05:34):

(01:06:04):
he yelled and said, you're about to die the facebook,
the bone are rumbling, and next.
Speaker 17 (01:06:10):
Thing you know, they're both dead.
Speaker 21 (01:06:11):
The next morning, he killed his wife because he tried
to play a.
Speaker 6 (01:06:14):
Game and didn't win at it. And at the police,
oh whoa, whoa, whoa. So the way he killed hisself too.
Speaker 7 (01:06:22):
He killed himself the police know there.
Speaker 6 (01:06:24):
It's done till it's all right already.
Speaker 17 (01:06:29):
And he tried to play that game and it's bone third,
you know, but he caught up.
Speaker 21 (01:06:33):

Speaker 3 (01:06:36):
All right, Well I don't want to play this game,

Speaker 17 (01:06:44):
He has a whole bunch of people watching get funny

Speaker 3 (01:06:50):
Well rest in peace to that, to that young lady's family. Man,
thank you, mama. Yeah, man, all right, don't get today
be fun until we get a call like that. They
didn't wanna be fun no more.
Speaker 6 (01:06:58):
Yeah, I don't want to sing like that's really Yeah,
and this Monday, dang.
Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
I'm taking my toys out the toy box and I'm leaving.
Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
All right, Well, shout out to anybody. And I think
Charlemagne is out tomorrow as well, So if you missed,
you can call tomorrow eight hundred five eight five, one
oh five to one whoever you want to give donkey
of the day. Two Now, let's open up the phone lines.
Eight hundred five eight five, one oh five to one.
All right, now, this is for anybody out there dating.
We see what's going on in the world right now,
(01:07:27):
I have a question for you and everybody in the room.
If you met met somebody, or you found out someoney
that you were dating had a wild super sexual pass,
like really out there doing some crazy stuff, could you
ever take them serious enough to marry?
Speaker 3 (01:07:44):
That is the question.
Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
Eight hundred depends five eight five one five one. Can
you truly look past that or will always be back
in the back of your mind?
Speaker 6 (01:07:52):
It depends.
Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Like we've been hearing a lot with with Diddy's trial
and a lot that's just going on in the world.
If someone had a while past, could you just let it,
let us slide and say, you know what, I'm still
gonna date that person.
Speaker 3 (01:08:05):
I'm still gonna kiss that person. I'm still gonna be
intimate with that person.
Speaker 5 (01:08:08):
The past was the paste the slide. Even saying let
us slide is crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:08:13):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (01:08:13):
Could you look slippery slide thing?
Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
You stupid?
Speaker 2 (01:08:16):
See I wasn't talking, baby boy. But let's open up
the phone lines eight hundred five eight five one oh
five to one. If someone had a wild super sexual past,
like really out there, could you ever take them serious
enough to marry?
Speaker 3 (01:08:27):
That is the question. We'll take your calls when we
come back. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, pull out,
you pull out your phone, call in right now. You
call me.
Speaker 10 (01:08:37):
Add your opinion to the Breakfast Club to break it down.
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. The
Breakfast Club. It's topic time called eight hundred five eight
five one five one to join into the discussion with
the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 2 (01:08:57):
Mourning everybody. It's dj V just hilarious, Charlamagne to God.
We are the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 5 (01:09:03):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
If he's just joining us, we're opening up the phone
lines eight hundred five eight five one o five one.
We're asking if someone had a wild super sexual pass,
like really out there. Could you ever take them seriously
enough to marry? Could you just leave the past in
the past, or is it something that will always be
on your mind? I had especially what's going on with
everything in the headlines lately. So let's start with you, Jess. Now,
(01:09:25):
if somebody had a YO, I feel like.
Speaker 5 (01:09:28):
It's so many freaky fetishis out there. I'm not even
the type to really analyze and dig into care about
somebody's past, But YO, you gotta be careful when you
want to move forward with somebody because it depends. It
depends the reason why I say it depends because you know,
people could like things like objects and they but you
know what I mean, Like people can like to do
(01:09:49):
that to other people, and even though it's in the past,
we might really start feeling each other and getting sexual
and nice and you might want to reintroduce that to me.
Speaker 2 (01:09:59):
I ain't with that, okay, So just imagine if you did,
you were dating somebody and y'all got close and all
of a sudden, he says, Look, I just want to
let you know ten years ago I was involved in
the train.
Speaker 6 (01:10:10):
Mm hmm, with men involved with the trains with.
Speaker 3 (01:10:13):
A train, a train not oh oh a train to
train okay.
Speaker 5 (01:10:20):
Oh all right, all right, Oh my god, like like
he ran a train on somebody.
Speaker 6 (01:10:25):
Well, he got a train ran on him.
Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
He got a train ran on him.
Speaker 6 (01:10:28):
Ah, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (01:10:30):
I can't. No, I can't Okay, no, man, I can't
do it.
Speaker 12 (01:10:34):
All right?
Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
What about you?
Speaker 2 (01:10:35):
Now, if you're dating somebody you find out that they
had a past history of wowish could you stay with?
Speaker 20 (01:10:42):
No? No?
Speaker 4 (01:10:43):
Then it can't be too what's wild? I mean, because
like if you got like a bunch of partners, like
you got a bunch of women that you used to
deal with it. I expect that kind of with men
at my age.
Speaker 3 (01:10:51):
But what's wild?
Speaker 6 (01:10:52):
Do you mean?
Speaker 3 (01:10:52):
Like you that's been going on recently or on the
stand and.
Speaker 4 (01:10:56):
Everything, couldn't do it, couldn't not. I wouldn't even be
able to sit straight face and look at you, honestly.
I would just be thinking about things and laughing.
Speaker 5 (01:11:02):
And now, look what if somebody, look, I'm asking both
of y'all this, what if like a woman envy was
like it just let's just say you wasn't married or whatever, right,
and say if a woman was like yeah, back in
my past, I ain't used condoms for like twenty two years.
I never liked condoms, so I just was raw dogging
everywhere every day, Like what you think, Like no, everybody
(01:11:26):
I ever had, like no condom nothing. I just started
using condoms two years ago.
Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
No, no, And like you know, and I don't want
to be judging, but I'm judging, right, And I'm gonna
tell you why. Yeah, because when you hear too much
of it, it's like like when I hear what's going
on now, I'm like, I would have to think about
that every time, like, and it's just just me. So
if you're out there and this is what you did,
that's cool, that's on you. But every time I kiss you,
I would think about the urine that you had in
(01:11:53):
your mouth, you know what I mean, Like every time
I hugged you, I would think about the scene and
that was that you played with you on you.
Speaker 3 (01:12:01):
I'm not judging, but it's just not for me.
Speaker 4 (01:12:04):
Everything that you're in a different situation though, because you've
been with Gia forever, you don't have to think about
that stuff still.
Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
But even if I wasn't and I was out there
dating now, people have partners before, right, You can't stop that.
Speaker 4 (01:12:16):
But I just if it's like that now, it manners
a lot more judgy are than when you are, so
not only that now when we have kids, right, and
then your kids google it, then they google and then
you gotta explain.
Speaker 8 (01:12:29):
What the like?
Speaker 4 (01:12:31):
Not everything has it?
Speaker 3 (01:12:32):
Everything? I don't think it's on the internet now.
Speaker 4 (01:12:35):
I don't know about okay, but let's.
Speaker 3 (01:12:37):
Go to everything.
Speaker 6 (01:12:38):
That's how everybody know that envy was arock boy?
Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
What shut up?
Speaker 8 (01:12:46):
Man? Tara?
Speaker 3 (01:12:48):
Hi, Hey, Tara, good morning.
Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
I know.
Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
So if somebody had a wild, super sexual past, like
really out there, could you ever take I'm serious enough
to marry say.
Speaker 7 (01:13:01):
The thing is, I would say yes only because that's
just honestly, because we all could really be like that
right now, you know what I'm saying. They just being honest.
We all would be that person.
Speaker 12 (01:13:13):
Just don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:13:14):
So, Tara, if you dated a guy that, let's say,
like to get defecated on. Oh now you're starting to change, right,
But but then right, but would you but you could
say I let that, I'll leave that in the past.
Speaker 3 (01:13:25):
It's cool. None that don't change. Now, what's a little said?
Speaker 6 (01:13:32):
That could be any of us?
Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
Because now I'm thinking like that because y'all got to realize, like,
especially the people in prison, the offense to them.
Speaker 7 (01:13:40):
You know what I'm saying. But when I can't really
date a.
Speaker 11 (01:13:43):
Guy that was in prison because in my head, I
think something.
Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
Happened, Tarror, I can't talk to them, Tara, I can't
talk to you no more, Tara.
Speaker 21 (01:13:53):
See but wait, I'm just saying, so when you said that,
that just really messed me up.
Speaker 3 (01:13:58):
Goodbye, Tarror, God too.
Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
What I was going to say, like, you know how
y'all be talking about like when you with somebody for
a minute, y'all married, you open up to things. Even
if not married with somebody for a minute, you open
up the things. So what if you get with that
person and y'all in it, y'all like ten fifteen years
and they tell you.
Speaker 6 (01:14:15):
Know, that's opening up to nobody. That's telling me that
they got I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (01:14:20):
What about you never had a man tell you that
they like their their nipples? Like, yeah, yes, because I
had that and I thought it was kind of odd.
And they waited until he was like in it, and
I was like, this is an odd thing to reveal
that what that you like getting nipples? Like played with
and all these things. So you don't like this, So
you don't like the fact that a man like his
(01:14:42):
nipples being I feel like I just feel like it's
saying that when you when people get comfortable, things come
up and now you're judging them, but you're already.
Speaker 2 (01:14:50):
Deep into this is no seeming in the nipples. It's okay, right,
eight hundred five. I don't know where Louren was going.
I was just asking if someone had a wild ship
sexual past, like really out there, could you ever take
them seriously enough to marry?
Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
That is the question. Now.
Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
Of course this conversation is is everything that's going on
in the headlines. We're just asking eight hundred and five,
eight five, one oh five to one.
Speaker 3 (01:15:12):
Hello, who's this good morning? My name is y Okay Shaye.
What's up? What's your opinion? What's your thoughts?
Speaker 21 (01:15:17):
So I'm feel like, if he got a past, it
is what it is a woman, he's not doing nothing
against anybody will or taking nothing up to We about
to have a great tongue.
Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
You can't say it's all in the past, but it's
just one thing you don't like. It gotta be one
or or none.
Speaker 12 (01:15:32):
Yeah, he can't.
Speaker 21 (01:15:33):
Yeah, he can't be doing nothing against nobody will I'm.
Speaker 3 (01:15:37):
Not with that, all right, But let's say he liked
to get defecated on you cool with that.
Speaker 21 (01:15:41):
Listen, I'm gonna cry jokes. I'm really cry jokes on him.
Speaker 4 (01:15:44):
He's goad.
Speaker 3 (01:15:46):
But you're gonna ride this out, Okay, all right, thank you, mama.
You're gonna crack jokes.
Speaker 12 (01:15:53):
Hello, who's this going on?
Speaker 7 (01:15:55):
He's from Jersey City?
Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
Shy, He from Jersey City. What's up? What's your opinion? Brother?
Speaker 17 (01:15:58):
All right, let me take a morning all before I
break it down, So check it out right. I've been
talking about relationship for twenty eight years, and there's something
that I've told you people.
Speaker 7 (01:16:07):
In the past. When you look at the fact that
we all.
Speaker 17 (01:16:10):
Have skeletons pause, you can't necessarily judge the one for
the skeletons that they have dating unless they're going to
those skeletons on you once yatt into a relationship. The
problem is a lot of people want to pass people
for their past because they believe that that past will
affect their future. Well, we all have a past, we
(01:16:31):
all have things we've done, we all have bodies on us,
not bodies. Let if we're gonna be talking about we all.
Speaker 12 (01:16:37):
Have that on us.
Speaker 17 (01:16:38):
So a guy or lady can come to a relationship
expecting somebody to have a clean fleep all the time,
and they think that that clean fleet is something that
they have to worry about it. They don't have to
know the stuff. I explained to my wife and we
got together. I don't care about the people you dealt
it just as long as you have to crease out
(01:16:58):
of your life when you get with me and nobody
we're with together, I.
Speaker 5 (01:17:04):
Don't think it's more so about like how many bodies
you got or like any of that. It's about the
things that.
Speaker 6 (01:17:10):
You do or that have done have been done to you,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (01:17:14):
Like not and we're not saying we expect you to
have a clean sleep, but just saying, you know, if
it's some things that you done got into in the
past that may affect your future, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (01:17:25):
Yeah, I'm with you.
Speaker 2 (01:17:26):
Everybody has had a pass, right, we all have passed,
And having a past is not the bad part, right,
Having partners is not the bad part. It's just certain
things that you hear that I'm just not with it
just is what it is.
Speaker 4 (01:17:38):
But even if that person was into it in the past,
it might not make you do it. Like that's just
something that was a kink that they had in their
past relationship.
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
It is a kink that I'm just not with I could.
This is the thing people always feel like if I
say I'm not with it, that I'm judging.
Speaker 3 (01:17:52):
No, I'm just not with it. It's just not for me.
That doesn't mean it's not for you or not for
the next person. But no, I'm not with it.
Speaker 4 (01:17:59):
But you know, with anything, envy, you don't like nothing.
Speaker 5 (01:18:02):
But look though, what if what if one of the kinks, right,
what if one of the kinks says, yo, your dude
Lauren used to like the you know, do threesomes with
another man, you know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (01:18:15):
And that happened a lot of times.
Speaker 4 (01:18:18):
No, I can't. I can't data by men. I have
nothing against buy men.
Speaker 3 (01:18:22):
But that's just you no, no, no, but that but
that's the thing.
Speaker 6 (01:18:25):
But look, that's the thing. What if he's saying, like, yo,
I'm not bad.
Speaker 5 (01:18:28):
I just used to do that sexually, Like that was
just my preference. Like that was like a kink I had.
I used to like to know, you know, to take
my stick it in yo, you know what I mean.
And then after that, you know, he going about his business.
I don't even think about him after that, you know,
it's just when we in the bed.
Speaker 4 (01:18:45):
That's not a okay, it's not a king, but it's
just sexual.
Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
But it's your sexual past. Like if that's what you
were into, it's cool, that's you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
But maybe that's not something that I want to deal
with for the rest of my life or something that
I don't want to think about.
Speaker 12 (01:18:58):
It is what it is.
Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
Hello is this and he Marshall Marshall, good morning, Good morning.
We're talking about dealing with somebody's sexual past. If they
had a wild sexual past, could you look past it?
Speaker 6 (01:19:10):
No way, like a bad dream.
Speaker 7 (01:19:12):
In the back of my mind. Twenty four to seven, groundhogs,
all the.
Speaker 3 (01:19:16):
Worried groundhogs day.
Speaker 6 (01:19:18):
See it's in the back of my mind.
Speaker 2 (01:19:20):
Twenty four to seven.
Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
Cut your past, and I'm with it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
There's certain things that I would think about all the time,
right and and I don't want to bring up the
ditty cas, but I bring up the ditticys. But like
some of the things that you hear later on, in life,
I still like, we're still a family. I would have
I would think about it all the time, you know
what I mean? And then I would think, and I'm
a virgo, so I would compare myself like that, Am
I not freaky enough?
Speaker 8 (01:19:44):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:19:44):
Should I be trying to do these things? Is that
what you like?
Speaker 4 (01:19:47):
Like I don't know hearing about who had to look
at yourself and say when I was with him? Was
I not freaky enough? That's what?
Speaker 20 (01:19:55):
Not me?
Speaker 2 (01:19:59):
But then so that the escort is right, if this,
if you had to hire people for that, right, how
many did you hire?
Speaker 3 (01:20:06):
How many do we not know?
Speaker 2 (01:20:08):
And then it's like when you got to compare yourself
to Big Punisher and all these other people, I'm all right.
Speaker 4 (01:20:14):
Don't call that man big like I thought it was
the punishing.
Speaker 6 (01:20:17):
It's literally just punishing like I'm gonna do.
Speaker 4 (01:20:22):
I didn't know your feelings.
Speaker 12 (01:20:23):
It's hurt.
Speaker 4 (01:20:23):
But did he you know, stepping out?
Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 17 (01:20:26):
Man?
Speaker 3 (01:20:27):
What's the other story? Just yo?
Speaker 6 (01:20:31):
The more the moral of the story is is it depends.
It really depends.
Speaker 3 (01:20:35):
You don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:20:36):
Because listen, I heard something about some guy right who
used to like the take pictures of every every girl
that he had sex with.
Speaker 6 (01:20:43):
At the after they were done, like I guess he
would ejaculate.
Speaker 5 (01:20:47):
He would like to take pictures and he would keep them,
like keep the as a souvenir of I guess their
lost sexual encounter or whatever.
Speaker 3 (01:20:54):
He don't.
Speaker 5 (01:20:55):
He stopped doing it down the line, but that's something
that he used to do. That's creepy as hell to me.
I'm gonna you feel like you're like a cereal creep
after that. I can't get with that.
Speaker 2 (01:21:06):
So it depends, all right, Well, when we come back,
we got the latest with Lauren, Yeah, we do.
Speaker 4 (01:21:11):
We're gonna get into Justin Bieber. He just had a
whole meltdown with the paparazzi and some Father's Day things.
Were gonna talk.
Speaker 3 (01:21:17):
About it row. We'll get into that next. It's the
Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody's DJ
Envy just hilarious. Charlamagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.
Let's get to the latest with Lauren.
Speaker 16 (01:21:31):
Lauren becoming a straight fast.
Speaker 3 (01:21:34):
She gets somebody that knows somebody detail.
Speaker 4 (01:21:37):
I'm a longe girl that knows a little bit about everything.
Speaker 13 (01:21:40):
She'd be having the latest on you the latest with
Lauren La Rosa. Sometimes you have fact, sometimes you have details.
Sometimes you have a little bit of everything. It's the
latest on the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 4 (01:21:52):
All right, y'all. So Justin Bieber had a rough Father's
Day after he ran into some paparazzi. He was out
in Malibu. Let's take a listen.
Speaker 16 (01:22:01):
I don't standing around here.
Speaker 20 (01:22:03):
You know, I'm a dad, I'm a husband. It's not
talking to you that I'm standing on business, is it?
Speaker 3 (01:22:10):
We're in the sidewalk.
Speaker 12 (01:22:11):
I don't give a if you're on the sidewalk.
Speaker 6 (01:22:13):
I'm a human being.
Speaker 15 (01:22:15):
You're standing around my car at the beach.
Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
You know what I'm saying. You don't think I'm a
real guy, do you.
Speaker 20 (01:22:21):
You're gonna take this video out of context. You're gonna
say I'm mad. I don't know who the paying you
to provoke me, but I'm not the fucking one. Okay,
stop provoking me.
Speaker 12 (01:22:31):
I'm a real dad, a real husband, a real man.
All right, don't do this to me.
Speaker 20 (01:22:36):
I don't care that you're on the sidewalk. I don't
care what kind of dirty work. Clearly you're here for
an alternate agenda. Why would you want to be here
to provoke me like this.
Speaker 3 (01:22:45):
This isn't love. You're not provoking. Y'all are on some real.
Speaker 20 (01:22:49):
Weird all right, Because I'm not gonna stand around here
and let this happen.
Speaker 3 (01:22:53):
No conserve, no way. Now, Justin Bieber's got to learn.
Speaker 2 (01:22:57):
He's been in this industry for twenty plus years right
now he has to learn that the propa Rossie will
do anything to get a reaction, and at some point,
you just you gotta stop giving them the power. Like
they feed off the drama and they feed off of this.
This is not gonna stop them. This is gonna make
them do it even more to get these.
Speaker 3 (01:23:12):
Reactions, to get these clicks, to get these likes.
Speaker 2 (01:23:14):
We reward people for this nasty behavior, meaning they're gonna
put it on their Instagram, their TikTok, and they gonna
get paid off of this.
Speaker 4 (01:23:22):
And you know what, they're gonna doing crazy online.
Speaker 3 (01:23:23):
They're gonna go right back and do it again.
Speaker 6 (01:23:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:23:25):
But Justin Bieber is not shot. This is not his
first time telling how Rossie off. He's done it before.
But I think the issue is is that right now
there's so much surrounding Justin Bieber, like he's out at Coachella,
people like, oh, he partying too much. They're accusing him
of doing drugs.
Speaker 3 (01:23:38):
People.
Speaker 4 (01:23:38):
There's been reports that, you know, he's financially not in
the best place, and that was like something from like
twenty twenty two. Remember he sold his catalogy TMZ did
a whole documentary breakdown Standing and basically he was super broke.
There's other reports that he lost like ninety million dollars
on the tour. They'd be seeing his marriages in shamble.
So people are waiting to see him do something like
this and he doesn't and miss all that, and we.
Speaker 5 (01:23:59):
Don't, oh, what else that he's going through, you know
what I'm saying, Like, we don't know. He did just
have a baby, which is like a great, beautiful, you know,
for him to become a dad, because he seemed like
to be really excited about that. But we don't know
if everything and his marriage is right. We don't know
what's going on with his family. We don't know where
his mental space is at right now, you know what
I mean. And so I think it's just to the
point where a lot of times, man, these people be snapping.
Speaker 3 (01:24:22):
They do, but you know, you can't give him the power.
Speaker 2 (01:24:24):
You know who the and I don't want to say it,
but you know who is some of the best kids
out there when it comes to it.
Speaker 3 (01:24:29):
Did he sons.
Speaker 2 (01:24:32):
Courtroom and people be yelling at them, saying old types
of wild stuff. They don't even look. They keep their
mind straight to the car, getting the car and straight.
Speaker 3 (01:24:39):
And I love that that's what they should do.
Speaker 6 (01:24:40):
But he might go ahead your thaying is they have
a lot of them.
Speaker 5 (01:24:44):
It's a lot of them. They got brothers, sisters, It's
a bunch of them. I only see Biber, we only
see baby. Do we even have any siblings?
Speaker 8 (01:24:50):
Like?
Speaker 6 (01:24:50):
Does he have like a foundation, like a good team,
a covering?
Speaker 13 (01:24:54):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (01:24:55):
Well, I will say too. So after this, it made
fans even more concerned because he then started seeing a
series of text messages between him and Like a Friend,
and in his text, he says, I will never suppress
my emotions for someone. Conflict is a part of my relationship.
If you don't like my anger, you don't like me.
My anger's response to pain I have been through. Asking
a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean.
(01:25:16):
The person responded, I'm not used to someone lashing out
at me. It's not that I don't see or feel
your angle anger. Justin you were said, this friendship is
officially over. I will never accept a man calling my
anger lashing out. I enjoyed our short lived friendship. I
wasn't kidding when I told you I don't need you
as a friend. I have good friends who respect my boundaries.
Then he says, please leave me alone, and he blocks
the person. Then he calls them the P word. Then
(01:25:38):
the person asks, he said, oh, I'm a pe word.
So people just I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:25:42):
I think he posted this.
Speaker 4 (01:25:44):
Yeah, so he posted these text messages.
Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
Yes, yeah, you can't give him that energy. I mean
it's the more energy you give them, the more they're
gonna be out there.
Speaker 3 (01:25:52):
And that's the latest with Lauren. Now I know you
have a Drake story. Will do later on.
Speaker 2 (01:25:56):
