My dad was shot and killed in his house. Yes
he was a drug dealer, Yes he was a confidential informant,
but he wasn't shot on street corner. He wasn't shot
in the middle of a drug deal. He was shot
in his house, unarmed.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
You know my mom, she always wanted her mom to
have that dignity and that pride, and I completely understand that.
Also sometimes have to take off those fantasy glasses and
put on what I like to call your reality lenses.
And it's like your mom got from a drinking problem
and it's very, very unfortunate, the relationship with my mother,
the relationship with my siblings, how your trauma affects those relationships.

woman in today's world is a lot.
