think I'm going to put comedy rom coms action aside
and my first round pick at number three, which I
think is a steal. I think this is a This
is a first round first pick overall, in my opinion,

(04:26):
the fact that YouTube bozos didn't pick it. I'm happy
with pick three, Rich Davis, I choose shawsh Ank redemption.

Speaker 4 (04:40):

I could do a steal because I feel like I
know what's on your minds, but I'm not going to
steal one of yours.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Part of the state of mind. I know it's part
of the strategy, but no.

Speaker 6 (10:40):
I consider Tarantino one of the greatest filmmakers of all time,
one of my personal favorites that I can watch over
and over and over and over and over again. This
is not my pick. Is kill Bill That would be
my pick, but I'm gonna have to go with the
classic pulp fiction nineteen ninety four. Okay, oh, it is
my second pick, pulp action, great pick fiction.

Speaker 1 (10:59):

Listen, this is a personal favorites, greatest of all time draft,
So I'm taking Wayne's World, Race.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Time excellent, Wayne's Basement, I would sam, I gotta love it,
all right, Danny G.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
You're up, all right?

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Pick fifteen. With the fifteenth pick, Danny G.

at pick number sixteen. Pick sixteen. With this sixteenth pick,
Rich Davis, that's me, And you know what, perfect because
sixteen is my lucky number. Joe Montana, Dwight Gooden, and
you know what, I went with Show Shank with pick one,
and I feel like, just based on my first round

(12:12):
pick and my second round pick, it's gonna be hard
to beat the well roundedness of my team of movies.
I had Show Shank, and I'm adding to my team.
Some would argue the perfect movie Back to the Future.
Oh yeah, man, you know I was so ready to
dump onto your next pick, and I can't deny that

(12:34):
it's a great one. Yeah, Shank, get back to the future.
Who is beating my list?

Speaker 3 (12:38):
You know?

Still you have to you know, we have everyone up
to thirty one inteath my.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Lucky number, and I figured I'd be well rounded and
go from Kang through movie up to Adventure movie my
third pick. We talked about the greatest Mount Rushmore action
stars this week, and I told you Harrison Ford was
one of them. If you don't have Indiana Jones as
a draft away, you stink. You have to be specific.
I'm going to Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost j

(13:28):
Let's go. You would have won if it was last
second pick, Indiana Jones.

Speaker 7 (13:34):
I like it and buyer eighteen well after I was
eviscerated for the first overall pick. Yet we have the
water Boy in Wayne's World and I hear, no, that's

That's one of the og Rich trades man color, you know.
On the other side, we'll go back to the callers.
Here's what we're gonna do. I more gripes if you
guys want them. You know, you rip my Ferris Bueller apart.
But sure he's a good pick.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
I just didn't know if it was pick one one.
You know what. It much like Michael Pennox Junior. Don't
trade up for him, Danny G. I think he'll fall
to you fire.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
I think that should have been like your second round. Listen,
Ferris Bueller is QB one in Dan's eyes.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
All right, all right, well, uh well, Danny G lines
up all the phones because we're all hot. Here's what

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Us an interesting draft. Again, it's that balance of classic
versus a random movie.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
It's definitely not better than Wayne's World.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
It's still da ra I will say though, every time
someone picks out of the spot, every time someone picks
your Billy comments, every time someone picks a movie I
have no interest in. I'm like, I almost feel like
it's when you're when a team picked someone your team
doesn't need. Movies didn't exist before nineteen seventy six.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
That was to kill my VCR be there. It is
so so Bayer. You're not going to pick Castle Blanca
with your last Oh now, all right, We're going to

all great answers. Thank you for all the phone calls. Yep,
appreciate it. You that was pandering. He knew you would
love it. Then, you know what, here's what I want
to do. Let's wrap up just with the six people
in the studio. Let's wrap up our final picks, and
then everyone's got before you give you pick, give your
first two so people can assess who has the best
three total, and we start. We picked twenty five. Damn Bayer.

(22:06):
Let's go with the twenty fifth pick.

Speaker 7 (22:11):
All right, guys, set aside one hundred and ninety five
minutes as we sit in and want some Titanic.

Speaker 1 (22:17):

in Ferris Bueller's day off, you know, well.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Rounded, he just led with the comedy. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
So okay, more people are coming over to my house
than any of you five. I'm just telling you, dance,
We've got everything covered.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Those are good picks, you know what. I don't mind
your picks then, yeah, I think you know what, man,

first two picks were that departed Wayne's World. Wait, I'm
sorry to let you know you, guys, negotiation for another Iowa.
Sam was trying to trade up and I'm not having it.

(23:20):
He offered you a breakfast burrito.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
He's the He's the Giants, You're the Patriots. Covino, it's
all kept over like four people. Steve Govino man twenty
sixth selection with the twenty sixth pick.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
So my first pick was Good Fellas Undeniable. Second pick
Indiana Jones The Raiders of Lost Dark. I mean it
was a franchise, don't give me, and the start of
it should have got with Lesker say now, just to
show you how well rounded I am, and my selection
is because I'm going for a well rounded team. I'm
going something that isn't necessarily my favorite, but it's one

(23:54):
of my favorites. Yet it's undeniable as one of the
greatest movies ever made. And I'm taking it back from
the eighties, from Indiana Jones all the way back to
thirty nine, nineteen thirty nine. Oh no, You'll be the
greatest time. I'm on Wizard of You have to look

(24:18):
up till this day is on my list, and I
am so upset right now. Movie. I am mad to unset.
But I challenge anybody to find a more heartfelt awesome
than the Grace still holds out, so it's been giving
kids nightmares for cent because it's transcends. Generation is one
movie that everyone watches them.

Speaker 7 (24:37):
I hope a tornado takes me away from Covino's house
so I don't have to watch that movie.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
Great, all right, we move on to pick twenty seven.
Are you sure Sam's up? You are right, guys? No,
not sing.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
It's rich Davis with a twenty seventh selection. I have Shawshank.
That was my first round pick. Good pick, I head
Back to the Future. Great pick. You don't have Rockey anymore.
You don't have I don't have Rock. So what's gonna
make yours? As well rounded as mind and dance? I
have the drama of Shawshank, the heart and soul of

(25:12):
the Back to the Future. I gotta go comedy to
round this out, and nothing makes me laugh more than
Dumb and Dumber Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels, Dumb and Dumber
rounds out by by List just fell behind Dan Byer. Yeah.

(25:33):
I love that movie, but in the draft, I don't
know if it holds anywhere.

Speaker 7 (25:36):
I feel like that's six hours of TBS at Richard's
house on a Saturday afternoon.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
What was a risk?

Speaker 7 (25:45):
Man's a four PM dumb and dumber.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
It's a channel change for me. I love that. I
don't know if his draft, Wow, I was Can I
tell you what my backup was? Sure, because until we're
all finished? All right?

Speaker 3 (26:02):
All right, all right, pick twenty eighth.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Man with the twenty eighth pick.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
Not Iowa Sam, Danny J Yeah, all right. I you
know I love gangster movies. I can't help it. Godfather
was my first selection, Meet the Parents. I threw the
comedy in there. My third pick a Bronx Tale.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Oh I love it. You just watched it. You're just
hold up a Robert de Niro fam right there. That's
just the work. Command's not a sucker.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
I love that movie. All Right, we're gonna go to
pick twenty nine. Now it's Iowa Sam.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
With the twenty ninth pick.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
All right, teresat here Scorsese's Best Picture winner, The Departed.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Call of Marty. That's what all the Hollywood folks do, Marty.
Then I went with a reach, perhaps Wayne's World one
of the movie. It's very dear near and dear to me.
This one's if Wayne's world to reach. This is even
further reach. Here we go.

Speaker 5 (27:06):
The Batman films better than The Dark Night with an
all star cast, ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Batman forever, I mean, no Kilmer, come on, look at.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
That the odd nipples, odd couple. Want to do an
hour and a half today, Jim Carry, we're leaving shows over.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Let's go Nicole Kidman, all star caids. Come on, great Casto.
It's like a fifth round pick.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
When I took him in the in the final I.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Left my personal stuff out of this man. I have
to reel about it.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
Watch that movie if you want to fall asleep.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
No way, he didn't, Hick. It's excellent. The Clooney one. Well,
you know what last last one of the studio thirty.
Here we go with the thirtieth pick, body Boy.

Speaker 6 (27:55):
I have so many great, great movies left on my list,
so many great movies, and I feel like this last
pick isn't going to appeal to everybody, but I think
it's probably a new generation greatest film of all time.
And that film is Interstellar. If you've seen it, it's
fantastic week pick. If you haven't seen it, it's a
week pick. Let me ask you guys a question.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
Trade my third pick. Anybody else want to do some trades.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
I will. Let's let's do a Your third pick was
a Bronx Tail Bronx great movie.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
It's a great movie, but I wanted it in the
fourth round.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
A third round trade, and I'm very tompident in my picks.
I'll give you two selections from next year's movie draft.
You know what, can I trade my last one? If
we all had to pick one more movie, is there
a discrepancy or we all have one that the others
want to pick?

Speaker 3 (28:46):
Quickly around the horn, buyer one one more more? If
you had to go with one more.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
Movie, Dan's like, this is the only four movies I know.
I had a bunch of favors.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
You know.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
I love Hoosiers, a love field of dreams.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Don't feel the dream dreams.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
You know.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
I went great films that I also liked. I'm gonna
pick a personal favorite and represent the Vatos vocals forever
and see Blood in Blood Out O.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
Your like that. It doesn't matter how you won the draft,
Rich You're mister irrelevant draft.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
I think, uh, it was left off, and I feel
like it should be left off. I just didn't want
to pick two movies from the same year. Forrest Gump. Yeah, yeah,
gum Gump, Shawshank, Back to the Future, Dumb and Dumber
of my four one way up high on my board.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Home Alone, Yeah, we're forgetting holiday movies. Home Alone, watch
it a couple of times a year. Iowa, Sam, I'm
gonna go with a full metal jacket.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
You're a little stun back. I got your name, I
got your ass. You will not let you, will not pry,
you will learn by the numbers.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
I will take you, spy. What are you gonna go with?
Apollo thirteen? That's a great movie.

Speaker 6 (30:03):
I'm torn between two Kevin Spacey movies, actually, either American
Beauty or Usual Suspects. You think I'm going to go
with Usual Suspects favor well, usual Suspects.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
Oh that was That was a nice CNR movie.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Draft, You know what, I'm surprised, and I can't wait
to see all the feedback and speculation and see how
many people caught Cadino one at Cadino and at Fox
Sports Radio, but no one really went with a cartoon.
I was surprised to like round it out like toy Story.
I had Coco on Standby Man. That's a good one.
It is man, It's hard to not appreciate some of

(30:36):
those amazing cartoons along the way. Put up a Twitter
pool who has the best?

Speaker 4 (30:40):
All?

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Right? Cool? You know what I also thought was interesting?
No animated, but what would be fun next time? Maybe
next year, Danny j know, we should do worst movie draft.
That's that's a good one. This is almost more fun
to think of, Like, can I think of all your
favorite movies? I was surprised there were no Triple X
movies that we named. Weren't you guys with vintiez agraphy? Yes,

(31:02):
I said in Diana Jones, what did you think I
was talking? Oh? Oh, and the Temple of forget it?
Damn Bier update, what's going on? Ye? Anderson's ready? He fires?
That was ten seconds ago. Uh uh, very very good.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Cleveland Clinic.

Speaker 7 (31:30):
Guardian's Radio network with that highlight, I'll get to baseball
in a sack. Guardian stopped the Red Sox today six
to four on that Jose Riverez Grand Slam. NFL Draft
gets underway in less than an hour and a half
and the Chicago Bears are on the clock with that
first overall pick. The Athletic is reporting the forty nine
ers have tried to move up sitting there at number
thirty one overall in this draft, they're trying to move

(31:52):
up in the first round, possibly even into even into
the top ten. According to the reporters, they've had a
conversation with one team in the top ten and Deebo
Samuel and Brandon Ayuk could be on the trading block.
According to that report from the Athletic Diana Rossini had that.
She also reported the Rams are making calls trying to
get into the top ten. They sit at number nineteen.
College football news, Arizona State transfer quarterback Jaden Rashadas decided

(32:16):
to play next season at Georgia Calves. In Magic top
of the hour, Cleveland up two oh in that series
Sixers home in Philadelphia, but it's the Knicks up to
to oh in that series at seven thirty Eastern Nuggets
and Lakers ten o'clock Eastern time. Brewers topped the Pirates
seven to five. Told you about the Guardians beating the
Red Sox six y four. The Twins rolled the White
Sox six ' to three. Phillies plank the Reds five nothing.

(32:37):
The Rockies scored six times in the eighth inning and
best at San Diego today ten to nine, Mariners got
past the Rangers four to three. Cubs got out the
brooms against the Astros, winning three to one, delayed by rain.
In Kansas City, Royals leading the Jays in the sixth
to two to one, and the Dodgers have a two
to one lead on the Nationals playing in the bottom
of the ninth inning in DC.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
Guys, back to you, hey did byer? Let me let
me ask all you guys if you were a early
round draft pick and you were pretty certain as to
where you were going. Caleb william style, like he knows
number one Bears, does he make sure his sweet tuxedo
or suit has some type of Bears colors? Or you know,
he opens a jacket and like the inside prints is
like Chicago, Like, do you think any players are gonna

(33:18):
have a personal team touch? I do. Like if Marvin
Harrison Junior knows I'm going number four to Arizona, does
he have like some red in his in his watrait?
I don't.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
I don't think so. I just think they like to
show off who they are.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
And you never know.

Speaker 7 (33:32):
I mean, we think we know and it's probably gonna
be Kayleb Williams. But honestly, after one and two, everything
falls apart. So I don't think I think it's going
to be all about them tonight because it's kind of
their night.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
Wow, a lot of fun. Like we said earlier in
the show, you're gonna see someone's hot sister or mom.
You're gonna see someone's girlfriend trying to steal the spotlight.
And you know you're gonna see a lot of families
live changing. You're gonna see a lot of bling too.
I'm already seeing a lot. Yeah, so you know what
we look at that right, I'm not even kidding. That
was to be a lot of flashiness. That's that nil money. Yeah,
you know, a lot of flashiness, which is which is

(34:05):
always fun. It's their big night. That's when you first
saw the pizzazz of Sauce Gardner. Remember he came out
draft and you're like, oh, get that. I look at
the blank. So it's gonna be a really fun night.

And let me tell you man, Detroit showed up. They're
showing footage from the NFL Draft. It's like a sea,
an ocean of Honolulu blue. Honestly, and people there for
the draft. So many people there looks like more people
than I shout up for Coachella this year.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
Honestly, they spent a month building this stage. It looks wild.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
You ever see one of those huge music festivals where
did Queen play in the eighties before Freddie Mercury passed
away Wembley? You ever see like that? Like the see
of people Detroit looks like they's one hundred thousand people.
They looks like a big turn ridiculous. NFL Draft Thursday.
You gotta keep it tuned to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
By the way, do you realize next year's draft is
going to be in Green Bay?

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Ooh, Cream Bay. Huh. That's pretty fun now, something to
get into between our show and of course the draft.
Of course you got the odd couple, but you also
have our bonus podcast over promised. If you want more
Covino and Rich and I'll tell you, I'll tell you.
Let me tell you. Thornton Mellon shout out to Rodney

(36:17):
Davidfield School to school fifth pick, No, no, no, no, no,
I want to let you get Lady Bugs, my favorite
soccer moviere I know what we're going to talk about,
and we're gonna talk about NFL Draft surprises on Over
promised the new NFL uniforms, new NFL uniforms, and what's
next for Ryan Garcia. So if you like some fights,

(36:40):
you know, there's so many options that don't involve hot women. Okay,
I mean we might even talk about that. So over
promised Episode forty six premieres right after our show four
pm on the West, seven pm on the East on
Fox Sports Radio's YouTube page. And of course you could
watch and listen to what you hear. Over promised our
bonus pod again. I'm Steve Cavino, that is Rich Davis,

(37:02):
and we're live from the Tirack dot com studios. You
said it, buddy, now listen. I mean the draft is tonight,
and like you keep saying, the world is a vampire
is a vampire, and I want to remind everyone third
d do I have to remind everyone that we're live
from the tyrack dot com studio on Thirdbread. Racing has
a new independent regulator HAISA. It's implementing comper defensive reforms,

(37:27):
and the sport is combining hands on and cutting edge
technology to keep athletes safe. Learn more at Safety Runs
First dot com. That Safety Runs First dot Com. I
have a question that has nothing to do with sports
for a second, becausefos there's UFI. There was a UFO
sighting by the LaGuardia Airport, which is the one airport,
and no one uses that I know because it's really

(37:49):
big paint in the ass. No. My thought as we
saw these young twenty somethings get drafted tonight, right like
they have their life ahead of them. A sea of
people in Detroit to walk, which very cool turnout from
what we're seeing, and as you see all these people
and their lives about to change, nil has changed the game.

(38:09):
Everything's changed the game. I was watching a dumb reality
show with my wife the other day called The Circle.
We all know The Circle. It started during the COVID year.
You probably watched these one because you were trapped doing nothing.
I was like, wait, is there season six of The Circle?
I guess I miss I missed seasons three, four, five, Yeah, exactly,
But I remember watching the first season, so Danny, I

(38:31):
feel like we talked about it back then because there
was nothing doing like sports shutdown. It was COVID time,
that's right, I remember that. So we watched The Circle
because it was a dumb show. They asked all these
kids in the pods that are roughly twenty something, which
is the age of all the people being drafted tonight,
all these young dudes about to change their stars. They

(38:54):
asked them, would you date someone that has an OnlyFans page?
And everyone on this reality show was like, yeah, why not?
Who cares? No big deal. Now we're assuming they're doing
naughty things on this OnlyFans page, right, I don't think
they're just not like they're painting a mural portraits. They're

(39:14):
not painting landscapes like Bob Ross. So my question is,
as you look at this younger generation the I, like
I said, the age of everyone you're gonna be watch
draft in an hour and ten minutes. Is that not
a big deal to anyone anymore? Because I remember back
it seems to be a generational question because I'll tell
you straight up and answer for me is no way.
I want to throwback Thursday. If you dated a girl

(39:38):
that might have been in a neoty magazine, Like back
in the two thousands, I dated a girl who was
in Playboy, and I remember being like, oh am, I
okay with this? Have we come so far that twenty
something year olds now are like yeah, who cares? Is
that really the sentiment? I mean clearly that they could
date someone and be like, yeah, this is my new
girlfriend or boyfriend, and hey, disregard the fact that they

(40:01):
do crazy things naked to themselves or other people on
a website. That's ignored. That's what you need to tell
your friends and family members. And that's not the game
I'm playing. I have three sisters, I have a daughter,
I have a mom that loves me. Hey, beautiful women
in my life, just disregard all the terrible things. And

(40:25):
not to sound like a hypocrite, because of course we
do consider you concern this stuff. But do you want
to invest in it? Is the question. My answers no,
because I have to answer for that. I just wonder.
And I but again, I bring this up. My dad says,
Rich says, each his own will prove alone. If that's
your thing, that's your thing. It's just not for me.

(40:46):
I'm just that based. And I bring this up because
you say, Rich, again, this has nothing to do with sports.
But it sort of doesn't. I'll explain why. I love
to hear why, because I told you, if all these
twenty somethings are so sexually liberal, that they're okay dating
someone that is doing and spreading god knows one on

(41:07):
a you know, smut site. If you're a young athlete,
is that something you have to worry about? Like, I'm
dating someone, I'm a high profile guy. I'm the number
one pick for the bear Is, the Lions, the Niners.
You think that Zion didn't feel weird about all those
stories that started to come out about him after a while,

(41:27):
I'm saying, it's just another layer that a young man
or woman has to worry about. And I feel like
these young men that are being drafted, like, oh my god,
nice to meet you. Yeah, I'm the number one pick
for the Rams. Oh yeah, hey before we date. You know,
I'm a sort of a high profile guy making millions
and I live in Los Angeles. Like what's out there?
And if you don't remember, I mean there's still a stigma.

(41:47):
It's not like the stigma is completely gun. It's a
generational thing. The reason the Zion story was a juicy,
salacious story is because he was linked to adult film
stars when he was apparently supposed to be in a
relationship right and she was. If it wasn't a big
deal with specific and certain generations. It wouldn't have made

(42:07):
headlines the way it did. It's just a younger generation
that's growing up thinking that this is no biggie, no biggie. Yeah,
simple rich.

Speaker 3 (42:15):
This is like that Jonah Hill story we talked about
a few months back. Wid Me, remember, didn't he He
was dating somebody and he wanted her to like stay
off of.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
Us, that's right. And people said that he was like
crazy possessive and he's like, no, I just have preferences
in who I date, and they made him look like
he was different. Family values just as simple as that.
And if you're gonna say family values or old school,
then I guess I'm old school. You know, I still
believe in them. And this, you know, what's what's what
might be right for you may not be right for
some bro. So simple? Are you quoting different strokes theme?

(42:47):
A lot of the answers lie in old school themes.
We'll see you guys later, enjoy the draft, rive there
you baby, see you, and the promise that
