You're listening to Bill Handle on demandfrom KFI AM six forty. You are
listening to the Bill Had show KFIAM six forty Handle here and the morning
crew. It is a Wednesday morning, humph Day, May eighth. Boy.

(00:23):
Some of the big stories that arecoming down today, as Amy reported,
April the hottest month on record, and look at what's going on with
the storms, the tornadoes going acrossthe country. No climate change, It's
all fake, no question about it. And TikTok has sued block a US

(00:45):
law that could force that nationwide band. I'm going to talk about that at
seven thirty at the bottom of thehour now yesterday and I had a great
time with this yesterday. Stormy damnIt Daniels was on the stand and she
can take news today. And ifyou thought that there was interest, if

(01:06):
you thought there was media interest onthis trial, which is being carried international,
the Stormy Daniels part, I meanyou have media coverage, reporters and
camera people and producers just frothing atthe mouth and breathing hard and not because
it's Stormy Daniels, because of thestory is so insane. So a little

(01:32):
bit of the testimony that came downyesterday. First of all, we start
with the fact that former President Trumphas denied that any of this took place,
that she is making it all up. Well I don't know. Well,
actually I do know, and thatis this actually happened. And then
I'm going to talk about the politicalfallout in the next segment. Okay,

(01:57):
So she describes that in two thousandand six they met at a celebrity golf
tournament and then she was invited toTrump's Lake Tahoe at that point hotel room,
which of course was the presidential suite. I'm assuming when Trump goes,
he gets grabs the best hotel outthere. And in terms of it didn't

(02:19):
happen, she wasn't there, completedenial. She went ahead and described what
the floors in the suite look like, what the furniture in the suite look
like, the contents of his toiletrykit in the bathroom, and he said,

(02:39):
no, you have no idea whatwas in my toiletry kit. The
problem is is that the detail wasso detailed that the jury is looking at
this and going, Okay, whohas the credibility there? And it doesn't
matter. And I'll explain that lateron. In the next segment. Okay,

(03:00):
so at one point she throws backher arm and lifts her leg in
the witness box, not to simulatea movie she was in, but to
recreate the moment she says, Trumpposed on his hotel bed for her,
stripped down to his boxer shorts anda T shirt. So now we know

(03:25):
the last question you would ever aska president, and that is boxers or
briefs, which is asked of everysingle president very early on and maybe the
first news conference that he holds,so we know boxers went around the room,

(03:45):
and Neil wears boxer briefs halfway there, and Kno said he wears boxers,
and I admitted that I wear panties, which is that's a different story.
And I'll talking to my psychologists todayabout this and I probably will not
be reporting in any case, someof the details that she said were so

(04:11):
detailed, so explicit. The judgecut her off, saying, you know
what, you're going too far.We get the idea, I mean went
into well, we don't even knowthe details, and even the media wouldn't
report, the major media wouldn't reportthe details that she said. I mean,
she described the Stuparai in very explicitdetails, and the judge said it

(04:34):
better left unsaid. Now. Thedefense argued that it was so explosive that
it was prejudicial enough to ask fora mistrial. That's it, We're done.
This is so prejudicial. Judge said, no, no, you're not
getting a You're not getting a mistrial. And all of this is about the

(04:54):
interest. That about the interest inwhat the payoff was Stormy Daniels through Michael
Cohen, and this happened after theAccess Hollywood tape came out just before the
twenty sixteen election. And the argumentthey're saying is the hush money that alone,
that, by the way, isnot illegal. You can pay people

(05:15):
for a story, it's done allday long. You can pay off people
for an NDA, which by theway, in California is no longer allowed.
It is about doing that for thepurpose of affecting the election that is
illegal. So Daniels at one pointsaid she was shaking as she got dressed,

(05:39):
and she made sure that future meetingswith Trump had to be in public.
I don't know why she said that, because she's perfectly willing to strip
in public, and that he whenhe came on to her. It wasn't
in a threatening manner. He didn'trush me, nothing like that. And
she blacked out while she had sexHM and they had sex in the missionary

(06:01):
position. So no frolicking as theyare concerned. So we'll see today she
goes further. Too bad. Wedon't have a video of her throwing back
her legs or throwing back her armsand moving her legs up. I mean,

(06:23):
it's pretty salacious stuff. And ofcourse Trump goes out and he is
still posting on truth. Social prosecutionhas no case, has gone too far
mistrial. I don't know if thatis a violation of the gag order because
he's not attacking any individuals, notsaying the judge is conflicted, not saying

(06:46):
it's part of a witch hunt,so he may be in compliance. He
was out of compliance ten times andthe judge said, next time out,
I'm telling you, I might putyou in jail. And I think that
did it. That one did itfor him not violating the gag order.
Although I think he's going to Idon't think he can control himself. And
that's a scary part about him beingpresident. And today is the second day

(07:11):
of her testimony, and it issalacious as hell. I mean, she's
giving details of their sexual encounters,to the point where even the judge said,
you know, we don't have tohear that things are better left unsaid.
Tone it down the defense. Trump'sattorneys have asked for a mistrial because

(07:33):
it is so prejudicial, and thejudge said, no, no, We're
going to go on with the trial. So here is a former president running
for president and is accused of andis being tried in a well, being
accused of something that would destroy anyother candidate, and this may actually be

(07:58):
helping him because he's talking about thewitch hunt, he is talking about how
the government is going after him.So I at this point want to dive
into this a little bit. Andthis is me being biased. You know
what I think of Donald Trump outsideof politics. By the way, there's
a lot of political stuff that Iagreed, don't agree, but simply just

(08:22):
his character. And I want apresident to have just better character than he
has. It's that simple. Andthis is an opinion piece out of the
Wall Street Journal that I read overthe weekend, and I go, Okay,
this resonated, and I'm going tomake a comparison here with Trump,
with Mussolini and Hitler and a fewother things. Now, I want to
put it on the record right now. I do not accuse Donald Trump of

(08:43):
genocide going after any race, althoughhe said some pretty horrible things about Latinos
and Mexicans, but I think thatwas more political than going after them as
a race. It has to dowith the argument that the country is being
destroyed and I am the savior.I am going to bring the country back.

(09:09):
I am going to pardon the politicalprisoners, the hostages that overtook the
capital on January sixth, because thatwas not an overrunning of the capital.
These were heroes, patriots that weresaving America. It is so skewed,
and this is exactly what these dictatorsdid. Again, I am not accusing

(09:33):
Trump of going forward. I wouldn'tbe surprised if you went for a dictatorship,
because he truly believes that he isthe savior of the country, and
a savior doesn't walk out. Andhe has described the Biden administration as the
worst administration to the point where itis destroying the United States and he is
going to save it. Here's thedifference between those other dictators. Their countries

(09:58):
were truly in trouble they were. This one is different. What kind of
trouble are we in. You maynot like Joe Biden, you may not
like the policies, but you're working. We don't have a forty percent inflation
or one hundred percent inflation like theydid in Germany. Huge unemployment, economy,

(10:20):
disappearing reparations being paid, same thingwith Mussolini coming into power. It's
it's the painting of the picture.I am going to save the constitution.
It is being destroyed by the Bidenadministration, and I am the guy you

(10:45):
will survive as Americans because if youdon't vote for me, America disappears the
way we know it. That isscary. That is scary. And his
followers truly believe that he is goingto save a Mayora Erica and he will
save democracy by taking control of everything, because that's democracy in the world of

(11:07):
Maga Americans. And he and JoeBiden are neck and neck. As a
matter of fact, he is aheadof Joe Biden in the states that really
matter, in the battleground states. So why is what's happening here non important?
Well, first of all, it'sbaked in. Who doesn't know that

(11:28):
Trump is a womanizer who doesn't knowthat. He wouldn't pay, wouldn't pay
to kill the story as run forpresident, who wouldn't know that. And
he has already said if he loses, it's rigged. If he loses,
America will be destroyed. If heloses, the constitution disappears. And he's

(11:56):
the only one that can save thiscountry. Fear is. Look what he's
already said. He is going todo. Gut the Department of Justice,
put in people that are loyal tohim, gout the FBI, put in
people that are loyal to him,the deep state that is attacking him,
who basically are members of the deepstate, that is, the bureaucracy,

(12:18):
people that work for the government, are traders to the constitution. And the
guy may win the presidency. I'lltell you one thing, America is going
to be different. Now. Isit going to be destroyed with Donald Trump?
Now, we'll live through it.We're very resilient people. I mean,
we live through Pearl Harbor, welive through a lot of stuff.
We live through the Civil War,and we're gonna have four years of complete

(12:41):
grief and then probably a Democrat comesin and the Department of Justice is going
to go back to where it was, and the FBI is going to and
the issue of weaponizing the government againstthe savior is going to go away.
And I'll tell you there's going tobe a move to undo the two term

(13:03):
limit to keep Trump in power.Now. Is it gonna work? No?
And the only thing that's going tosave everything is the courts. The
courts are going to stop him cold, unless he says ignore the courts because
they are traded. Those judges aretraders. Also, any judge that doesn't
rule in my favor is a traderto the Constitution. And there'll be plenty

(13:26):
of people that are going to agree. And then the issue becomes which way
do we go? Do we simplyundo our judicial system? And it's at
that point the argument that democracy isover. I think that resonates, and
I don't think the American people arethere. I really don't. I think
that guard rail stays. I hope. So if I U and making it

(13:50):
a little bit am too depressing, which I tend to do, eh,
that's what I do. And againI want to point out really important and
I am not accusing him of anythingthat what happened with those dictators other than
the way he is portraying him savingthe country for us. Now, let

(14:15):
me give to California what's going on, and this is going back to work
and a lot of us who didany form of remote working. This you
look at this and even though thisis governmental, it you know it affects
us as sort of the policy andthe way we work. So the Newsome

(14:37):
administration wants state employees in the officeat least twice a week. Okay,
you're remote, and twice a weekyou're coming in. And many civil servants
prefer working from home. What ashocker. And their unions because now civil
service workers have unions. Didn't usedto be that way. You work for
the government, you weren't in aunion. You took the benefits of working

(15:01):
for the government and you gave upunion. Now you get it all.
Get a state job, get acounty job. It's the best thing you
can get. So the unions aregoing, oh, no, no,
no, we want to keep ourpeople working at home if they want to.
Now under a law, actually itwas a labor arbitrator's decision and a

(15:22):
dispute between the California Public Employees RetirementSystem and the union that represents state attorneys
the arbitrator said, yeah, I'mgoing to go for the Newsomb administration,
and they can the government can forceyou to go back for work. And

(15:43):
of course what happens lawsuit lawsuit time, And this is only two days a
week. And the primary union that'sreally going for it are the DA's in
the state. Well then the AttorneyGeneral's office, the lawyers that work for
the state. They're the ones thatare suing, saying, hey, we
have a great time working at home. We're powerful, and therefore we want

(16:10):
to stay working at home. Andthe News administration has no ability, no
legal ability, to force us togo back to work. Well, I
mean that's kind of a stupid argument. And the arbitrator said, yeah,
that's kind of a stupid argument.CalPERS, the retirement agency for State of

(16:30):
workers, said they want people togo back three days a week. And
this is the problem that we're allhaving. What is it here? I
think it's four days a week thatpeople have to work here. I mean
those of us on the air fivedays a week. I mean that's sort
of a given. But I thinkofficially is four days a week now,

(16:52):
and everybody's off Friday. Do Ihave that right? I think it's probably
something like that. Yeah, Ithink so, except for high management.
But that is, you know, management decision. That decision is made by
divisions. Sales may only come inthree days a week, but I'm not
sure. No, I think theycome in four days a week. I
think so. I may be wrong. In any case, the arbitrator said,

(17:15):
uh uh to the union's grievance findingthat CalPERS the big union the Helpers
executives had legitimate operational reasons to requireattorneys to work in the office, for
example, running into each other atin the hallway talking about their cases and
talking about strategy, which you reallycan't do when you have these mass meetings.

(17:40):
And who do you talk to becauseone of the things about these these
meetings that you do on zoom orteams, you know, there's a lot
of wasted stuff. You're talking tothirty people. I'm on a thread that
has forty five people on it,come on, and then thirty of them
right back, and I get theemails. I just ignore it. I

(18:02):
just totally ignore it. But ifbecause I can, because what are they
gonna do to me? Right? However, if you're working and you've got
superiors that it's important to them, and they give a legitimate reason, You're
probably gonna go. You're probably gonnahave to go back to work at least
and only two days a week. What are the union pitching about two days

(18:26):
a week in the office. Comeon, guys, makes no sense if
I were, and I'm no longeran employer. Although I'm starting another business,
which is gonna be a spectacular failure, I just had one that was
a spectacular failure. You know,I'm very entrepreneurial, most of which my

(18:49):
business fail miserably. A couple ofthem have worked, but most have failed.
And you know, same same position. You know, do you do
you force people to come to theoffice. Don't know, don't know,
hasn't grown enough? Okay. TikTokhas filed a lawsuit and the only thing

(19:15):
that's not being mentioned is the wordhypocrisy in TikTok and is challenging the challenging
the constitutionality of a new law signedby President Biden passing bipartisan in a big
way. And what it does isit forces either the sale of TikTok by

(19:37):
next year or TikTok doesn't do businessin the United States. And that is
a big, big, hit TikTok. I mean is enormous. I mean
it's crazy. More than half ofUS adults ages eighteen to twenty nine use
TikTok. I don't, but well, let me ask and he used TikTok

(20:00):
or producer does not? Amy,do you use TikTok? I do not.
Okay, I'll see you there yougo, So we don't kno.
If you were sitting in the chair, i'd ask him, but I think
he's off to the restroom, andI don't so well. Also, we're
not eighteen to twenty nine either. So the younger you are, the more
you use TikTok. Although a lotof business is done on TikTok, thousands

(20:23):
and thousands of people make their livingoff of TikTok, and not just business
influencers. I mean, it's nosmall deal on a business level. So
here is a suit arguing that theorder either you have to sell or we're
going to shut it down, saysis unconstitutional, trampling on TikTok's First Amendment

(20:48):
rights as well as the free speechrights of millions of Americans under the banner
of national security, denies the companyequal protection under the law and amounts to
an unlawful taking of private property. Now there are laws on the books that

(21:11):
foreigners, remember TikTok is Chinese ownedby Byte Dance, that foreigners cannot own
radio stations, cannot own television stations. But again there's no law on the
Internet on those platforms because frankly, the law is haven't caught up to what's
going on. That usually happens. It's way later. And so national security.

(21:34):
What is the argument on national security, Well, that one's easy.
Hey, government controls TikTok, orcontrols Byte Dance, which owns TikTok,
and therefore the Chinese government will haveaccess to personal information and get involved in
not only finding out all the informationabout us, but being involved in interfering

(21:57):
with the election. I mean, just goes on and on, and Byte
Dances saying, oh no, no, we have our guardrails, we have
our firewall, the Chinese firewall,I might add, which is sometimes known
as the Chinese Wall in the worldof tech. I believe it's used around
me, maybe because I like pandedexpress. I don't know. We'll get

(22:19):
into that at some point, andtherefore national security flies and TikTok is saying
oh no, national security is notenough of a reason because you can't prove
it. And Congress and the Presidentare saying we're going to be proactive about

(22:40):
this. Do we find out afterthe fact? So which way is it
going to go? I think nationalsecurity is going to prevail on this.
And the hypocrisy here is just wonderfulbecause how many First Amendment rights do you
have in China? Let's talk aboutChinese First Amendment rights. The same thing

(23:00):
that we're hearing from Hamas congratulating theprotesters from arguing for arguing their First Amendment
rights. Hamas is saying, yes, they have First Amendment rights to protest.
Hamas, try if you're a Palestinianand talk about your First Amendment rights.

(23:21):
Gee, the hostages should be returned. How long you think you're gonna
last before your lie you're put upagainst the wall and shot. Yeah.
Yeah, So I just love theseforeign powers, these dictatorships that control their
people where I mean, there can'tbe a hint of a statement against the

(23:42):
government, and now woe it's ourFirst Amendment rights. We want to have
Americans be able to to share theirviews. It is well, it's crazy,
by the way, TikTok, youtalk about success there say, AD
sales are expected to go thirty onepercent this year to eight point seven billion

(24:04):
dollars, and it's not yet profitable. They won't tell us, as Zach
figures, but company is by expertsbeing deemed not yet profitable. But it's
right on the verge of making alot of money. Also, if they
have to sell, how much moneydo you think they're going to get?
Well, the valuation is about twentybillion dollars right now. I think ByteDance
is going to do just fine onthis, But the Chinese government arguing First

(24:30):
Amendment rights in the United States, tell me that one isn't a complete stunner.
