to that. Also looking forward to later this hour six
forty we'll play one stupid question for Holiday.

What we'll do is we'll battle it out for Brian
Adams tickets, another person who you will be able to
see at iHeart Radio Music Festival, but you'll be able
to see him at Bridgestone Arena if you're able to
get through and play Battle it Out this morning. Taking
a quick look at what's trending this morning. A thirty
one year old woman in Kentucky got arrested for damaging
her ex boyfriend's car so bad she totaled it. I mean,
(00:52):
she went full on Carrie Underwood before she cheats on
this bad boy. She slashed a tire, smashed his windship,
broke his rear view mirror, destroyed his radio, filled his
vents with glitter, and poured salt in his engine. They
said that fixing the car would have cost over twelve
thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Uh. They did charge her with felony criminal mischief, but
she didn't seem too upset about it.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
In her mugshot, she's got a big smile on her face.
By the way, if you want to see that mugshot,
you could check it out. It's over there on our
Instagram stories. She is like definitely grinning from ear to ear.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
For sure.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
You'll want to join the show.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Talk to us by calling six seventy three seven.

Nashville skyline, food trucks, and support the district all at once. Yes,
Wine on the River has all that and more. Grab

Speaker 2 (02:00):
You don't want to miss this now if you have
kids or spending any.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Time around them, you're probably aware of the slang they use,
You just don't know what the hell it all means. Right, Well,
good news for you is, I'm here to help you out.
It's one O five nine in the right Nashville's classic
Rockets battle in the morning, and it's very tough to
keep up with the sling your kids sling at you.
But teachers they hear it all and they say that
they're here to help you out. They're sharing phrases and
(02:26):
words they hear at school, and of course by the
time that we learn what they mean, they're no longer
cool anymore and they've moved on to a new one.
So they're saying that these are the words that kids
are gonna be saying at this school year. According to teachers,
they say on God is one of them. It's like
saying swear to God. Apparently, also is delulu. That's a
(02:48):
fun one to say, and it means delusional.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
Right.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
They also say six seven. I'm like, what is six seven?
Kids say this in a particular way, but what it
means is unclear. One teacher says she asked a million kids,
including her own, and still hasn't got an explanation and
meaning of where it actually comes from. I mean, even
if you don't know what a slang terms mean, you
can still sprinkle it into your conversations just to know
(03:13):
your kids. I do it all the time because I'm like, Yo,
that's cap, bro, and my kids are like, you don't
know what you're saying, Dad, you don't know what that means.
I'm like, nope, I just wear a cap. I don't
know what no cap means. And then they have to
explain to me. Six one five seventh, three seven, one
oh five nine is the number you want to play
one stupid question this morning. Let's get you on the
phone to play for Holiday World tickets. Six one five seventh,
(03:34):
three seven, one oh five nine is the number. We'll
play one stupid question, next question.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
All right, let's do this.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Let's play one stupid question. Holiday World tickets are up
for grabs this morning. All you have to do is
answer my stupid question and one stupid question. Let's go
to the phones and see who got played with us
this morning. It's one of five now in the rock
high Who's this?
Speaker 5 (04:02):
Hey, good morning, this is John John.
Speaker 2 (04:04):

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I oh you man, I am doing that pretty good. John.
Are you ready to play one stupid question?
Speaker 3 (04:13):
I certainly am.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
All right, John. Here's the deal. I'm gonna ask you
my stupid question. If you get it right, you go
to Holiday World.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
If you get it wrong, somebody's gonna be able to
steal these tickets away from you.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Here is your one stupid question, and you have to
listen closely.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
If John has a cake with eight pieces and he
gives away four, how many pieces of cake or left?
Speaker 5 (04:37):
That would be four?
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Is for your final answer?
Speaker 1 (04:41):
John, Yes, sir, John, I gotta tell you you're going
to holiday on my birthday.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Congratulation. All right? My grandkids would love that.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Oh, it's gonna be a fun time for sure, and
they definitely will love that.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
And your walla will love it.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Because it's free soft drinks there so you can save
you some money. Oh and free parking too. John, tell
us what station tooking you up?
Speaker 4 (05:02):

oh five nine.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Of the Right Nashville's Classic Rock. It's Battle in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
So I've got a question that's kind of been bugging
me for a couple of days.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
What's the best way to get out of a fight?
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Now, I'm not talking about like some MMA cage match.
I mean in real life, Like you're out somewhere, maybe
at a bar, maybe at a concert, and someone was
trying to start something with you. I say this because
over the weekend, as I was DJing for PBR, as
I was walking back to my car, I saw these
two guys I would probably say, one's name is Chad
and the other's name is Brad started arguing and then
(06:48):
they like started throwing fists, and I was like, oh right,
But I didn't pull out my phone. I wanted to
live in the moment. Now here's the deal for me.
I'm not exactly out here throwing hands.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
I'm more of a lover, not a fighter.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
And honestly, if somebody try to fight me, my first
move would probably just be.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Like, hey, would you like concert tickets?
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Because I can give you those, right, But if that
doesn't work out, I might just kind of like fake
a leg cramp or uh, you know, try to limp
out their instant exit strategy.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Right.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
But here's the thing, everybody's got their own little trick.
Maybe you pretend to get a phone call from somebody,
or you just starting dance an awkwardly, so the guy's
just too confused to be.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Mad even anymore.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Right, So I've done this out to you and I'd
love to get your thoughts on this. What is your
best way to get out of a fight? Six one
five seven, three seven, one oh five nine is the
number again. Six one five seven, three seven, one oh
five nine is the number, because let's I mean, let's
be honest, nobody really wants to fight, right it's battle

Speaker 2 (09:10):
It's Battle in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
I asked the question what's the best way to get
out of a fight? Because it got me thinking as
I watched these two guys fight on Broadway over the weekend,
and I was like, I wonder if that was me, how.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Could I get out of the fight.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Obviously, I would never put myself in that situation because
I stand in the corner for the most part and
I avoid all confrontation. Seven three seven, one oh five
nine is the number Brian in Mount Juliet. How do
you avoid a fight?
Speaker 5 (09:41):
So I've heard people talk about this. I haven't tried
to get myself, but the tougher the guy is. I mean,
it's a real tough guy. You just stand there and
pull your pants down, and all of a sudden, the
fight is over. A guy doesn't want anything to do
with you.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
See, I don't know how that would play out. Like
if you're getting into a fight. Let's say you're on
Broadway right and you're in good season. You're about to
fight some dude and you're like, hey, hold on, and
you undo your pants and you just drop your pants right.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
In front of them. I I don't.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Know if that's gonna prevent the fight or if that's
just gonna tick him off even more. And then just
you know, he pushes you over because well your legs
are now locked up. Uh, next time you're about to
get into a fight, you should try that out and
let me know how it works, because I don't think
that it will end in your favor.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Six seventh, three, seven, one oh five nine is the
number if you want to jump in on the show.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Phone lines are open. What's the best way to get
out of a fight.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
We'll take more of your calls next it is a
two for Tuesday with Fleetwood Mac.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
I will say, some of these excuses.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
That you've been calling in to tell me have been incredible.
Six one, five, seventh, three, seven, one oh five nine
is the number if you want to jump in on
the show this morning. I ask you the question, what's
the best way to get out of a fight? Aaron
hanging out with us in my neck of the woods
in Gallaton.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Man, what do you got for me?
Speaker 5 (11:09):
I think the best way to get out of a fight.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
That's unavoidable is too uh huh, that's a good question. Oh,
you know what it is. It's a good old fashioned push.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
Him over and run, wait for him to throw and
just push him in line.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
But here's the deal.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
If you're waiting for him to throw a punch, what
if he connects and knocks you out?
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Then you can't do the whole push and run thing.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Right?
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Also, is that like a cheap cop out, like a
Woo's move? Right, You're like, all right, let's go, and.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Then you just push them and then you take off
running to the other side.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Isn't that what we call a coward?
Speaker 1 (11:44):
I look again, I've never been in a situation like
this where I've had to like throw down, right, I've
always avoided the situation or I've gotten security involved.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
That's just how I am. But I don't know if I'm.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Gonna just get into a fight with a and be
like you know what and just push them over and
then take off running. Also, I can't run, so I'm
not gonna get very far if I tried to do that.
Six five, seven, three seven, one oh five nine is
the number. If you want to jump in on the
show What's the Best Way to Get Out of a Fight?
