今天我们来学习这样一个短语的用法，叫let sb. down easy；

大家可能都认识let sb. down这样的一个表达，叫做“让某个人失望”；

但是这个短语后面加上了easy，完全就不一样了。

可以理解成：to deliver bad news to one in the kindest or least upsetting way possible

“以尽可能友善或最少令人不快的方式传递坏消息或拒绝对方”，比如说今天视频里就是Jay想要跟女友分手，但又不想太刺激对方的情绪。
