Roadmapping your career in strategy with Chai Ng from Airwallex

Welcome to Episode Two of the 180DC Podcast! In this week’s episode, we sit down with Chai Ng who is currently a Senior Strategy Manager at the start-up unicorn, Airwallex. Chai undertook a role at Strategic Project Partners (SPP) while studying at the University of Melbourne and a graduate position at Bain & Company after completing her Bachelor of Commerce. 

Chai shares her definition of what strategy is and how she found the potential career path of consulting. We chat about her favourite quote from her early days, how to combat imposter syndrome and also how to bounce back from rejections from your dream companies. 

Like many of us today, Chai was just a student finding her ‘why’ and ‘where’; this episode is for anyone who wants to explore alternative methods to break into strategy and consulting.
