Wow! As you may know, Jeff Sturgis is a Whitetail property guru. Our discussion today does nothing but solidify that notion. What's best is that Jeff is humble, never speaks in absolutes, and is always encouraging. So many "habitat guys" talk so much about "small property management" and refer to 60 or 80 acre parcels. For us, that would be a huge property! Let's face it, being able to afford any land is a huge step. For most of us, 5-40 acres seem so much more feasible and relatable. We called up Jeff to get a more realistic, real world, and rational idea of what a hunter can expect if they seek to purchase a small property like this. It just might surprise you how much positivity Jeff has for pieces land like this.
