The family is referred to as the A-Team, because all 10 of them have names that start with the letter “A” (and also because Amy might be just a *little* bit obsessed with the 80’s, having spent a great many hours of her childhood watching a TV show from that decade called “The A-Team”). The A-Team Members are big travelers; finding new and creative excuses to leave on the school voicemail in order to take full advantage of the perks of Andrew’s job as an Executive at Seattle’s Hometown Airline, Alaska Airlines.
