Disney's public opposition to the Florida Parental Rights Bill has seen backlash from parents as they protest the Magic Kingdom.

Sean Feucht, Hold The Line's Founder, started their boycott campaign, first, at Disney HQ in Burbank, California, for this special Charisma News Story at Disney World in Orlando. Sean Feucht was joined by fellow Christian leaders like Todd White and Eddie James in protest. Momentum is building and they are calling for a bold and courageous church in America that's not afraid to call out wickedness.

John Matarazzo (00:05):
Welcome to along the way. I'm John Matarazzo.
Your host and fellow traveler, thank you for joining me along
my way is I try to become morelike Jesus every day. The goal
of along the way is to identifythe moments in life that Jesus
really is walking with us andtrying to get our attention. But
just like the disciples alongthe way to a madness, we are
missing those moments that ourhearts are burning within us. I

(00:28):
want us to identify thesemoments, learn from others and
apply those lessons to our livesso that we don't miss the
blessings God has for us alongthe way in our life's journey.
Since I started working atcharisma media, I've had the
opportunity to do podcastinterviews that I wouldn't
normally consider an along theway episode, because I was doing

(00:48):
the interview for charisma newsor some other format. And I've
also been interviewed on otherpeople's podcasts to those have
been great opportunities as wellas interesting conversations.
And I want to make sure that Ishare them with you as well.
This particular charisma newsstory was a lot of fun to
produce. It was Monday morning, and a coworker of mine told me

(01:10):
that later that day, Sean Foytwas going to be gathering people
together right in front ofDisney World. We quickly made
arrangements to go on location, and I brought all the recording
gear that I needed. It was agreat experience for me to get
back out into the field. Andthen to produce this story about
what happened that day. I hopethat you enjoy it. But first,
thank you for listening to alongthe way. All of my episodes and

(01:33):
social links are available at mywebsite along the way dot media.
You can also join my email listto get updates right in your
inbox. All the links from thisepisode will be in the show
notes. And now here's my specialcharisma news story. Sean Foyt
calls for Christians to hold theline against woke Disney. As the

(01:57):
protest group marched alongApopka Vineland Road in Orlando,
Florida bull horns blared chanceof we're taking Magic Kingdom
back for the kingdom of God andchants were met with a mixed
reception from the cars passingby. Let us worship and hold the
line founder Sean FoId led theway to the intended protest

(02:21):
location, the entrance to themost magical place on Earth,
Disney World. Despite beingstopped from setting up the
stage on the intended corner andhaving to quickly find a backup
location for the worship rally.
A crowd of grandparents parentsand kids holding signs stating
that Disney opposes parentalrights had already gathered at

(02:45):
Mickey Mouse's gateway sign.
They burst into tears as Foytand his team made their way to
the landmark and led the groupin protest chants and prayers
for greeted the crowd that grewto a few 100 throughout the
Monday evening and protest andrally them up by leading the
boycott Disney chant.

(03:17):
From his bullhorn he told thecrowd that if this were the 80s
or 90s 80s or

Sean Feucht (03:22):
90s people here because there was a United
Church that took a stand againststuff like this because the
church has been soand I want to pray that today in

(03:43):
a busy world we started inBurbank, California.

John Matarazzo (03:48):
He recalled the past events of a whole the lines
campaign against theentertainment conglomerate
explaining that Disney's leakedvideo expose their woke agenda.
He declared that Disney isintentionally trying to groom
children with their antibiblical ideology. Disney's
public opposition to the Floridaparental rights bill kicked off

(04:09):
this boycott campaign started byFoId at their Burbank,
California headquarters, followed by another protest at
Disney Land and now across thecountry to Disney World in
Orlando, Florida.

Sean Feucht (04:33):
Not afraid to call out recognize this not afraid to
call and listen. We can't letdissenters be the one to lead
the way. I love him. He's agreat governor. Governor.

John Matarazzo (04:51):
We called out that we need a bold and
courageous church in Americathat's not afraid to call out
wickedness. The crowd cheer Ericwhen Foyt announced the recent
news that Disney has lost $72billion in their stock

Sean Feucht (05:07):
billion dollars in lost stock value go go go go
here's the thing can we all liftour hands and on the counter
three begin to pray for theChurch of

John Matarazzo (05:26):
the group prayed for God to move at Disney and
for the church of Orlando therewould be no he declared that

Sean Feucht (05:32):
there would be no more. No more. Here's the
Christian manage the enemy. Ourbattle is not against flesh and
blood. But we can't manage theenemy we're called to destroy
the enemy we're gonna pray Godfilled the church of Orlando,

(05:54):
Florida with a and encourageCome on, buddy. Pray for your
leaders. Pray for those inauthority God we pray that the
church would rise up across

John Matarazzo (06:06):
point in his team March the crowd back to the
location where the stage wasprepared for the rally in an
empty parking lot visibilityfrom the main road coming.

Sean Feucht (06:22):
Hopefully you guys are with me. That is against
powers and principalities. Ourbattle is not against
corporations. It's againstdemons in the corporations are
trying to release perversionover a generation. This is
nothing new. The enemy's beendoing this for 1000s of years.

(06:45):
It just so happens that how he'sdoing it today. Looks like
Mickey Mouse. Okay. But thething is, is that when the
church gathers like this, theBible is very clear. And when we
gather together and we worshipand pray and this is why the
COVID lockdowns were so such inline with the enemy's plan

(07:10):
because he wanted the church toshut out he wanted the church to
be fearful and to be insidetheir homes with a mask on
watching the livestream. Thisbecause there's power in this so

(07:31):
we're here asking

John Matarazzo (07:32):
he was joined by Todd White of lifestyle
Christianity who commented thatsleep,

Todd White (07:37):
I was at the sand yesterday over at Arrowhead
Stadium, went home last night, kill him late get up early this
morning flew in here, just to bea part of this because this is
something that's near and dearto my heart. It should be near
and dear to every Christian'sheart, we should really want to
guard and protect the reality ofour kids souls. And really, this
is not okay,

John Matarazzo (07:56):
man. It's definitely not okay. So you're,
you're exhausted from the sandand all the things that you've
been doing you come here andwhat is what is it that you're
trying to accomplish here? Likewhat is this rally do this rally

Todd White (08:09):
is to raise awareness that this is not okay
that the church is silent. Imean, there's so many issues
that we've been silent on. Andhonestly, I believe that the
church has negotiated her faith, not the whole church, but a
whole majority has negotiatedtheir faith on an altar of
cultural relevance. And this isnot relevant to culture, this
culture is twisted and demonic, and the church has a completely

(08:32):
different kingdom culture. Andwe can't afford to go and sway
over this just to make peoplehappy. It's not possible. We're
not going out that way. We'regonna rise up. You're gonna be
the church and demolish thisthing through the Spirit,

John Matarazzo (08:44):
man and what are you seeing now that is
encouraging you what gives ushope that

Todd White (08:49):
gives me hope to see Christians that would normally
be silent, be vocal. I mean, mywhole heart cry with our
ministry is called LifestyleChristianity is to raise the
awareness of who we are asChristians as children of a
living God. Walk in sonship.
Walk in being a daughter of theking, and boldly represent him
everywhere you go and make surethat you're vocal about your
faith. You're not silent aboutyour faith, the silent faith

(09:10):
isn't faith at all.

John Matarazzo (09:12):
Pastor James Le vec, from Clearwater, Florida,
who helped organize the rallywas excited to take a stand for
our kids. It's almost

James Levesque (09:19):
kind of like let us worship and hold the line
together, you know, to kind oftake stand for our kids, you
know, of course of all therecent things that are happening
with Disney. Sean just feelsthis burden to go across America
and stand for truth.

John Matarazzo (09:30):
Lubbock explained that this isn't time
to just have unity. It's time totake a stand. He said

James Levesque (09:36):
that years ago, you send your kids to private
schools now there's like a demonspirit at work behind these
things. You know, years ago, youwouldn't really need to jump
much into politics, but now youreally see the demonic realm
rise up and unfortunately a lotof churches stay quiet. You
know, we saw it in COVID Right?
It was a real it was almost likea fair failed fire drill. Yeah,
you know, I'm saying it was likeit really showed you where you

(09:56):
are. And unfortunately a lot ofChristians don't think St.
Louis, we were talking tosomebody tonight. And he's like,
you know, we just need unity. Wejust need unity. And I'm like,
we're like, that's not wherewe're at right now. We can't
look we can't even get thechurch to agree on killing
babies. Right? Right. You knowwhat I mean? Like, that's how
far off we've been right? Likeif we can't even agree on
abortion, like being wrong 100%murder, then how are we going to

(10:20):
have just unity so somebody'sgot to take a stand. It's like I
think a sifting is taking placeright now right from the gods
like separating.

Adianis Morales (10:37):
My name is Alia. Nice Morales, and I'm a
local pastor here in Kissimmee,Florida.

John Matarazzo (10:41):
You told me earlier that you are actually
more than just a pastor, you'redoing something else to help
serve the community.

Adianis Morales (10:47):
Yes, we've been self serving the community for
five years. And my husband and Iare both past local pastors. But
I was also the Latinos forTrump, director here in Central
Florida. And in doing that, whatwe did for two and a half years,
we were going to churches, teaching believers how to vote
according to biblical values.
I'm running as a candidate fordistrict nine, which has all of
OCL, that county part of Orlandoand a little bit of Polk County,

(11:10):
my passion, my big hope, inrepresenting, I'm sitting on is
primarily that we have tomobilize the church, we have 50
Millions of people, believers inFlorida that are not registered
to vote, we have 25 that don'tvote in primaries. So if we, and
then if we get those 35 alone,we should not have the problems

(11:33):
that we're having. But there's atotal of 90 million Americans
that don't vote in primaries.
And that is the problem. If wedon't mobilize if we don't pray,
if I don't think and we don'tact, nothing is going to happen.
That's why we're living nowadayswhen we're living, because we
believers, the ones that areassigned to take dominion and do

(11:54):
what we were commanded to do inGenesis 126. That's the problem.
We're not doing it. So we're notmobilizing and they are taking
over because we are not doingour assignment assignments.

John Matarazzo (12:05):
And you and your husband were asked to pray in
Spanish over the crowd here. Andfor this, this event, were a
couple 100 People gatheredtoday. And on a Monday evening,
which is amazing to get this bigof a crowd on a Monday evening.
And so I just wanted to hearfrom you what that meant to be
able to share that to share thatprayer. And what is your prayer

(12:28):
for this?

Adianis Morales (12:28):
My meant the world to me, because this is my
territory. So I am takingdominion of it. And I was just
declaring that any strongholdsthat have come this way that do
not belong in my territory, ithas to leave. And we are in
front of Disney Disney haschanged so much. I am part also
of the curriculum advisory teamin Osceola County. And every two
weeks I go to the school board.
And one of the reasons that thekids in Osceola County were not

(12:51):
mandated to wear the mask. Itwas because we weren't going
there with the father childrendesign in our group. And we
fought and we fought and wefought the school board actually
was the superintendent waschosen as one of the few in in
United States by the Bidenadministration to make sure that
the curriculum that they'rehaving, they're implemented. So

(13:13):
we've been fighting against thatand we're doing pretty good so
far. It encourages me because Isee the church coming out of the
walls, the church rising thechurch, getting sweaty, walking,
bracketing, we need it is ourvoice, this is our land. So we
need to represent who we are. Soif we don't do it here on Earth,
why are we going to wait to bein heaven is everything is

(13:35):
perfect there we need to makeeverything perfect here. And in
order to fulfill our assignment,we need to do what we need to
do. And it's our voice is ourcar our assignment as I said,

John Matarazzo (13:48):
in between the worship sets, different speakers
took the stage to lead the crowdand share how they are standing
against the secular culture. Oneof the groups represented was
moms for America name is

Shar Fenton - M4A (13:59):
Dr. Fenton.
I'm with Florida moms forAmerica here in Polk City pork
counties.

John Matarazzo (14:03):
Tell us about why you're here and why this is
so important.

Shar Fenton - M4A (14:07):
I am here because I'm a mama bear. My
babies are grown. However, whenmy grandbabies come, I want the
next generation to have what Ihad. I mean, I want them to be
able to, you know, play in theplay in the streets like we did
as kids and, and I don't seethat right now. And I'm gonna do
everything in my my power. Withall the moms out there. I'm

(14:29):
gonna fire up the moms, and I'mgoing to get us involved and
whether it's with politics, whether it's with rallies, and
that's what I'm doing right now.
We are doing we are gettingwe're raising up the next
generation and we're alsoteaching moms the Constitution
and teaching them how toeveryday citizens and do their

(14:50):
civic duties.

John Matarazzo (14:53):
That's awesome.
And so, for you what is what iswhat is seeing this group of
people All together to protestwhat Disney has been doing, and
just worshipping Jesus here.
Tell us about what this means toyou.

Shar Fenton - M4A (15:08):
So for me, specifically, I'm a woman of
faith. And their god is numberone. He is number one. And if we
do not have God, first, everything else will fall in
line. And that's why we're here.
Because all these folksunderstand all the moms and all
these individuals understand howimportant it is that we protect

(15:29):
our children. And that's why weneed to make sure that Disney
does not continue to groom ourchildren, whether that means
boycotting, whether that meansyou know, we're going to hit him
where it hurts, and that's intheir pocket.

Sean Feucht (15:43):
Our kids, we pray that you raise up the mama,

Rebekah Ricks - M4A (15:46):
Rebecca Rick's Florida moms for America,

John Matarazzo (15:49):
and you're wearing an awesome shirt that
says beware the mama bear. Yeah, can you tell me what being a
mama bear means to you?

Rebekah Ricks - M4A (15:56):
To me, it means protecting our children no
matter what. When you feel thatyou feel like your children are
threatened, nothing will go outand protect your children like a
mama will, no matter what it is,you think something's gonna hurt
them, you're gonna run out therelike a crazy person and take
care of

John Matarazzo (16:09):
it. Whenever you see an event like this, and you
see people coming on a Mondayafternoon, evening, just to come
and rally together stand infront of the Disney sign. What
does this mean to you? What areyou feeling here?

Rebekah Ricks - M4A (16:24):
It gives me pride that I live in America, we
can do this. It gives me hope.
Because if you listen to themainstream media, you feel like
we're the only one who no oneelse cares. It gives me faith
that there's other people outthere like me, who I'm not
alone. I'm here to help otherpeople, other people are there
to do it with us. And that as amom, sometimes we isolate
ourselves. But we're all in thistogether that we're here

(16:46):
together to join together as acommunity.

John Matarazzo (16:49):
Alicia Dahmer and her family traveled from
Kentucky to join the protests.

Alycia Dahmer - KY Family (16:53):
Were from Kentucky, I felt the Lord
called me to come. So we camefor this rally. My husband, I
said, let's just go for a longweekend, stay for the rally and
go back on Monday. And he said,it looks so much fun. Let's
bring the kids so instead ofbringing leaving them with
grandma, we were taking a familyvacation here.

John Matarazzo (17:06):
That's That's amazing. So what is the big
reason that you have come to bea part of this rally?

Alycia Dahmer - KY Family (17:12):
Well, I've followed Shawn for about
two years. And I've seen all thethings he's doing all over the
world and all over the UnitedStates. And I think it's
wonderful, but I wanted to jointhem in California and tickets
to California were likeridiculously expensive. We found
a ticket to Orlando for like 100bucks. So I was like, we're
going. So Disney has crossed theline, they have just decided

(17:32):
we're going to try to sexualizechildren, children are innocent.
Let children be innocent. It's Idon't understand. Like, when I
see some of these new moviescome out this Domonic there's
witchcraft in them. And I'm justlike, What is going on there?
Like, if that's the line in thesand, they're going across
saying we're going to sexualizeyour children then I'm just
gonna say we no longer supportyou. We have canceled our Disney

(17:52):
plus we came here for thisprotest and we're having a great
vacation. But I just you know, children are innocent, they need
to stay innocent. Like why arethey trying to take them? I
don't understand. But anyway, myson, my other sign says what the
devil wants from you is yourvoice. The Lord spoke to me at
the beginning of the pandemicand said the Lord, the devil
wants your voice. He wants toquiet he wants to silent and as

(18:13):
Christians like he was sayingrise up it is time for us to
rise up and be the body ofChrist. This isn't for
everybody. This is for God'sremnant. We're a fiery bunch.

John Matarazzo (18:22):
Amen. Amen. And your daughter sign says

Alycia Dahmer - KY Family (18:25):
let us be innocent. Tells him well
it's just this pervert andthey're trying to push this
agenda the all those leakedvideos we saw all those leaked
videos saying we're gonna pushare not at all gay agenda. We're
going to try to sexualizechildren and then they went into
a war with Ron DeSantis saying,Okay, this is the line in the
sand you're going across notsexualizing children. Are you
kidding me? I was like, I don'tunderstand who is running the

(18:47):
show over there. They have takena far turn. I'm in love with
Disney classic. I have a lot offriends that are like I can't
boycott Disney. I love Disney. Ilove Disney too. I'm a parent.
That's why I'm here. Becausewhat are they doing? They need
to know they have crossed a linethat they cannot come back from
and that's okay. They will nolonger have any of our money. We
will not spend one penny onDisney while we were here or
here 10 days and we're not goingto spend one penny one nickel

(19:09):
one dime on Disney parks.

John Matarazzo (19:10):
So what have you been doing? Instead of that?

Alycia Dahmer - KY Family (19:13):
We have a resort seven pools and a
water park feature and for manygolf courses, we're just fine.

John Matarazzo (19:19):
We're just fine.
Social media influencers knownas AJ sisters are encouraged to
see that the crowd wasn't madeup of just parents or
grandparents. Why did you comeout here today for the whole the
line event?

Christiana Patriot Sister (19:31):
Well, first of all we've noticed for
I'm 23 I'm 21. So we havenoticed specifically our
generation has been bombarded, indoctrinated, whatever you want
to call it. And so we have beencalling for our followers and
just uniting together physicallyin person, but we're being
desensitized as a culture andit's time that we have to rise
up stand tall and fight back fortruth because if you don't do it
today, then you'll never do itand you have nothing to stand

(19:53):
for tomorrow. So

John Matarazzo (19:55):
So what encourages you by seeing this
crowd come out today

Isabella Patriot Sisters (19:59):
on Sleep. I'm excited the fact that
we have this many people showingup on a what is today, a Monday,
on a Monday evening, this thingpeople showing up is unreal,
especially when it comes toDisney. I mean, Disney is a huge
international corporation andwe're all rallying together,
standing together as one againsta corporation that is just
absolutely gone bonkers.

John Matarazzo (20:20):
What about you?
What occurs is you about

Christiana Patriot Sisters (20:22):
kind of the same thing. I mean,
Disney is in golf, Rolando,Disney, it goes to Orlando, you
cannot get away from it. But italso encourages that there's all
ages here. It's not just theparents. It's not just the
grandparents. It's not just the20 something year olds, but it's
the kids. They're all saying,Hey, we're not willing to
sacrifice our morals and a truthfor comparability anymore.

John Matarazzo (20:42):
So right now, at the hold the line event in the
parking lot of Manny's originalChophouse there has been an
altar call, and people have goneforward to repent and give their
lives to Jesus. You're gonnahear that in the background. We

(21:03):
are right on the main road here, the popular violin road. People
are getting free for gettingfree from perversion, bites
going, Jesus said, expecting Godto do some amazing things,

Sean Feucht (21:22):
set him free God in their lives. Freedom, set him
free God set him

John Matarazzo (21:27):
free hands are raised all over the parking lot
as people are responding to theHoly Spirit moving. Recording
Artist and worship leader EddieJames commented about the
spiritual importance of worshipin public at the outdoor event,
saying

Eddie James (21:44):
I think the biggest thing for me is I believe the
parents have been given by God,the responsibility to train up
children in the way they shouldgo. Having seen the danger of
children without parents, fatherlessness and the pain they
go through, to now have systemsthat block parents from speaking

(22:08):
into the lives of the childrenin and helping to raise them
according to the values thatthey hold dear. I think it's
problematic. My heartbreaks forthe children of this generation
is so much coming against them.
But I understand that the enemy,if it can start young to
construct a child that he canset them on a dark journey for

(22:31):
the rest of their life. And thatis why the enemy is so adamant
about coming after our kids. Sofor me, this means so much
because I value my mother and myfather and I know what it's like
to not have my father, you know, and so many times needing that
voice in my life and how youjust go in directions that you

(22:51):
weren't created to go in, if youdon't have that guidance in
front of you. So I'm fightingfor that. This meant a lot to
me, because I'm fighting to seefamilies be what God wants them
to be.

John Matarazzo (23:06):
Now we're on Apopka Vineland road here in
Orlando, just a few, a few 100yards away from the entrance to
Disney World. And we're, we hada group of a couple 100 People
here worshiping, can you justtalk about the spiritual
importance of worshiping in aplace like this?

Eddie James (23:23):
One of the things that I think that the worship
does is for people who are notthey don't serve I got it I part
of our faith, they see joy, theysee the they see a manifestation
of the presence of God, they maynot understand what all it
means, or but they begin tosense that there's something

(23:44):
tangible, something real, something very authentic about
what's happening among us. Andthe Scripture makes it so, so
evident that when we are boldabout Jesus, that it causes
people who sit in darkness tosee a great light, you know,
they're able to see, wow, whatdo they have? I want what they

(24:06):
have. And so I think it'simportant that, that we ask
people to faith worship in theout in the outdoors, you know,
to be bold, not arrogance, youknow, not prideful, you know, be
humble, but yet bold, you know,be passionate, while keeping it
pure and keeping it genuine. Youknow, we're not trying to rub it

(24:28):
in anyone's face. But we aretrying to say there's a better
way his name is Jesus, and toworship Him and allow Him to be
seen, even among those who maynot know it.

John Matarazzo (24:40):
Now, you've been traveling and doing a lot of
these events with Shawn Foyt, what have you been seeing around
the country? What is thespiritual climate from those
events?

Eddie James (24:50):
Oh, my. See the Lord move upon people's lives in
the outdoors. I've seen peoplecome in You know, obviously
there's a lot of Christians thatgather because we have, you
know, like faith. But I've seenpeople come who just saw it
heard the noise came in, gotradically free from addiction

(25:12):
got a radically free fromsuicide or depression or
anxiety. I've seen scars ofpeople cutting themselves
completely removed from theirbodies. We've seen limbs grow,
we've seen ears come open. Andthe greatest miracle is just
seeing hundreds of people cometo Jesus hundreds of people
saying yes to God, there istruly a desperation in our

(25:34):
culture for Jesus and the morewe get out and share him, I
believe the more harvest we willsee, going across the nation
with Shawn for it and seeingthat firsthand, has really
changed my life like it for2021. And even in this in this
year, 2022 has been a gamechanger for me. You know, it's

(25:55):
one thing to see people come toan altar in a church building.
That's nothing to see peoplecome towards a stage outdoors
and just say I want Jesus andjust cry and weep and get healed
and get get just completelytransformed. It's it's
incredible. It's incredible.

John Matarazzo (26:13):
For it and now announced to the crowd that he
was leaving Orlando to headdirectly to Washington DC for
his next rally on the WashingtonMall and the steps of the
