(00:01):
Using everyday life to help you increaseyour confidence and your self esteem. Feeling
absolutely I guess pumped, pumped? That is that a good the word the
right word to describe myself. Guessit is. It's been a very very
hectic week. Today is Friday, the Something of Something. It's the second
(00:25):
second of June. This episode willgo out tomorrow morning and it's been a
really busy week. It's some halfterm here in the UK, the school
holidays for one week and we've beendown to the beach down to Weymouth on
the south coast of the UK forwe went Saturday, how to work Saturday
(00:52):
morning, So we went Saturday lunchtime, came back Wednesday afternoon and I then
went to work half past six Thursdaymorning. Finished it don't half seven eight
o'clock last night, got up again, left earlier this morning, left around
(01:15):
six o'clock and I've just walked throughthe door at half seven again tonight and
I've literally walked through the door andcarries past me in the doorway because she's
going out to see her friend now. And then tomorrow morning I'm going to
get up Saturday morning, go towork, do a few hours before I
(01:37):
go to work. I got todrop a trailer at work. I then
got to drive a vehicle somewhere else, swat vehicles. Long story. I've
still been leaving it sort six o'clocktomorrow morning, hopefully going to work to
amund noon. Then I'm going tocome back, cut the grass, have
a shower, and then go andwatch the football, or if you're in
(02:00):
the US soccer in the afternoon witha few friends and have a beer.
And what's the relevance of all that, Well, it's about your hhfwc's your
health, hobbies, friends, family, work and contribution. It's about your
(02:22):
value in life. And it's aboutmaking sure that there's balance, there's should
be bounced to everything you do.They reckon you do one one of those
six things eighty percent eight zero eightypercent of the time, they reckon you
do another one of those things fifteenpercent of the time. They reckon you
(02:44):
do maybe two of those things fivepercent of the time, and they reckon
you don't do the others at all. And I sometimes argue with that.
I certainly toy you with it withinmy own life that I believe I'm doing
one or two of them, youknow, one hundred percent and not doing
(03:05):
the other four at all. I'meven doing one of them. It's work,
working and sleeping quite a lot ofthe time, and not doing the
other five at all. And thisweek it's just that reminder of that.
I've spent quite a bit of timewith the family at the start of the
week. I've then been doing abit of work, and I knew my
work this week was going to belimited two days now. I got to
(03:30):
going tomorrow, but two and ahalf days ended up doing what I've probably
worked twenty five thirty hours by timeI finished tomorrow lunchtime. Within three day
period. It's just been go,go, go, go go. Carry
now gets a bit of time outthis evening, I'll put the kids to
bed. I'm going to get abit of time out tomorrow afternoon when I
(03:53):
got to see my friends have abeer. And yeah, I haven't been
able to fit exercising, haven't beenable to do contribution to the local community
or local charity. But apart fromthat, I've tipped four boxes this week,
(04:15):
probably in fairly equal portions, soinstead of one of them being eighty
percent, I've probably done I mean, the biggest one is probably family.
This week that's probably been a goodsort of sixty percent, which was nice
because it normally is a lot lowerthan that. Work has probably been sort
of I don't know, fifteen percent, twenty percent maybe, and then yeah,
(04:42):
it's just been good. And whenyou're lowing your confidence in your self
esteem, you quite often one ortwo of them, or three or four
of them are completely non existent andyou don't have to spend all day,
you know, doing one of them. You can, you can have it
(05:04):
in small, bite sized pieces, but you've got to start considering how you're
going to introduce that balance. Andthat's the key word, that balance into
your life, because ultimately that isthe thing that helps stimulate your what I
(05:26):
call it the dopamines, your endorphins. The dopamine is and you're endorphins in
your in your brain, which keepsyou with a smile on your face.
It's that simple. And I sayit's that simple. It's that simple to
understand, right, I appreciate it'snot not that simple to do at times.
(05:50):
The point being, this is nonnegotiable. Right, if you're listening
to this now, this is probablyyou're not first time. What have I
been telling you? Hundreds hundreds youknow I've had a million down loads and
four hundred episodes. Right, you'veheard the same story. What are you
still doing? Let's end this now. Get out there, work out what
(06:13):
you're doing too much of. Findout what you need to be doing more
of, HHF WCS, get thatin balance, health, hobby, friends,
family, work and contribution. Getbetter balance. Start working out today
how you're going to do it,Get on with it, and if you
want the hands with that, letme know, give me a call and
I'll do my best to help. Can't say fairer than that? Can I
(06:36):
have a fantastic day. Gotta eatsome dinner, gotta get the kids to
bed, got to get up inthe morning and get the work. Goodbye.
