(00:02):
Using everyday life to help you increaseyour confidence in your self esteem and to
be frank, just get out ofbed in the morning and get on with
it or not as the case, maybe how are you? You're right,
I've been struggling this week. Idon't know why. I've just been struggling.

(00:24):
It feels like a battle between mycozy comfort zone and the needs of
making the most of my day.Something you can relate to. It's a
challenge. It's a challenge. It'sthe first challenge of the day. It's

(00:46):
one of the challenges that I faceevery day. And normally I'm a bit
of a sort of get on withit. I just get out of bed.
I'm up in the morning normally anywhere, sort of have four or five
o'clock. I like to strategize andjust plan my sort of day and sort

(01:11):
of just have a cup of coffeeand just get my head and thoughts right
before the day begins. But thisweek, I don't know why it hasn't
worked out like that. My alarm'sgone off, I've hit it on snooze,
and an hour later I realize I'mstill lying in bed and it's a

(01:32):
challenge. As I said, Ithink it's a phrase of the challenge.
Yeah, it's a challenge. Idon't know. I don't know why I've
rolled with it. I have juststayed in bed, and my motivation to
get up and get on with myday is it's just not been there.
And anyone, even the most motivatedindividuals in the world, whether it's coming

(02:00):
up with a new plan or idea, or resolving issues within their business,
or just getting out of bed inthe morning, well your experience moments of
I don't know, doubt and resistance. The key thing to it is,

(02:21):
I guess, it's not not tryingto have those things, but it's finding
the strength within ourselves to rise aboveit, to acknowledge what we've gone through
or what we're what we're going through, and just being a place where we
realize that's just part of the journeyand we can do something about it.

(02:46):
Specifically with getting up in the mornings, the first step, I guess is
to find what that motivation is,what's getting you out of bed? Excuse
me, what is that reason toget up? Because to be frank,
if the reason to get out ofbeds as the same with anything with any

(03:07):
motivation, If the motivation to moveforward is not stronger than staying where you
are, then you don't do it. That motivation to get out of bed
is not stronger than the motivation tostay you stay in bed. So what
is that thing that you're working towards? What's that thing that you're striving towards?

(03:30):
Is that clear? Is it definedwell enough? Is it floating your
boat well enough? Lots of peoplestruggle to get out of bed in the
morning because they know they're just goingto get up, have breakfast and go
to work. Well, there's that'sdefined in itself. If you don't like

(03:51):
your job, you're not going tostruggle to get out of bed. Sorry,
you're going you are going to struggleto get out of bed, aren't
you. It's it's one of thosethings where if you are struggling to get
a bed because you don't like yourjob, then maybe you need to find

(04:13):
another reason to get out of bedin the morning. Instead of just getting
up, having breakfast and going towork to do a job you don't enjoy.
Maybe you need to find another reasonto get out of bed in the
morning and do something before you goto work that you do enjoy. It's
about creating I guess a morning routinethat excites you, A routine, a

(04:39):
routine that inspires you. Maybe includea bit of exercise to awaken your body,
or meditation to calm your mind,or writing or journaling to unleash your
sort of creativity reading something. Justwork out what that thing is that motivates

(05:10):
you to get out of bed inthe morning and to get energized, because
staying motivated, feeding our minds withpositive thoughts and inspiration, surrounding ourselves with

(05:32):
subjects and interests which help us andinspire us to grow and get bigger is
the secret source to everything in life, not just getting out of bed in
the morning. If you are goingto put yourself in a place where I

(06:03):
was going to say, achieve greatness, and I think that's a I do
mean that, but I think mostpeople can't relate to that. You're going
to achieve greatness well actually getting outof bed in the morning and getting to
work on time, and I don'tknow, maybe going out for a walk
this evening before you collapse in frontof the TV. Actually that is a

(06:25):
level of greatness that a lot ofpeople should be striving towards. But let's
rephrase the phrase not. If you'restriving for greatness, if you're striving to
be a better person in the future, then what you are now, whatever
that means. Then you need tounderstand your motivations. You need to understand

(06:55):
what gets you further forward in anhour's time. You need to understand what's
that thing that's driving you to takeone step in front of the other.
You need to clearly define that. You need to remind yourself of that regularly,
and that includes get out of bedin the morning. I feel like,

(07:20):
and I say this regularly, don'ttie that it's a bit cryptic?
Was this episode a bit cryptic?Let me know what you think. Did
I define it well enough? HaveI given you something to go away and
which is actionable? Love to hearwhat you think. Maybe it's part of

(07:43):
me not being able to get outof bed this morning. My mind's a
bit flustered and my message is notclear, or maybe it is. Let
me know what you think. Havea fantastic a goodbye.
