Het is even geleden. Maar we zijn terug! En wel met een miniserie over veiligheid. Een onderwerp dat veel losmaakt bij iedereen die iets met de sport te maken heeft.
We beginnen de serie met een gesprek met Artificial Intelligence deskundige prof. dr. Eric Postma. Iemand die grappig genoeg geen verstand heeft van wielrennen, maar wel van het in kaart brengen van menselijk gedrag.
De tweede gast is in de Crotcast beland door een "twitter fittie" met Maarten, zoals Maarten het zelf noemt. Een "twitter fittie" dat resulteerde in een warme verstandhouding met verkeersdeskundige Teun Hellings. Hij was verantwoordelijk voor het parcours, en de veiligheid van de renners tijdens de ritten, toen de Giro d'Italia naar Nederland kwam.
U hoort ook Martijn Tusveld. De Sunweb renner die ernstige verwondingen opliep bij een valpartij tijdens Parijs-Nice. We vragen hem natuurlijk hoe het nu met hem gaat en hoe hij in het debat omtrent veiligheid staat.
Het meest verheugd zijn we echter over het feit dat deze Crotcast gewoon weer, zoals u gewend bent, Steven Dalebout aan het roer heeft staan.
