I didn’t plan it.

 

It just kinda happened… and then it became a “thing”.

 

A few years back, I was doing a live session in my Launch Masterclass, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw it…

 

Right next to my camera was a squirrel.

 

And this thing is just going nuts.

 

Now I’m live with thousands of people. So I’m doing everything I can to stay focused and not get distracted, but I can’t help it…

 

… my eyes keep wandering over to this little guy scampering all over my deck.

 

I knew I had to say something. 

 

Dan and I laughed about it. And by the next session, he’d rigged up a second camera and “Squirrel Cam” was born.

 

Moments like that often feel like mistakes. But every year since, there’s always someone who asks:

 

“Is there a squirrel cam this year?”

 

Yeah, it is kinda ridiculous. But “squirrel cam” is what launching is all about – showing up live, figuring things out in real time, and leaning into whatever happens.
