تجربة الحمل والولادة ليست مجرد لحظة بيولوجية، بل مسار معقّد تتداخل فيه الضغوط المجتمعية والأسرية مع ممارسات طبية قد تحرم النساء والأمهات من رعاية صحية عادلة ومستنيرة تحترم قرارهن وحقهن بالوصول إلى المعرفة الكاملة. في هذا السياق، برزت وظيفة “الدولا“، أو مرافقة الولادة، كمهنة حديثة نسبيًا، تقدم دعمًا جسديًا وعاطفيًا وتثقيفيًا للأمهات، وتعمل على تعزيز وصولهن إلى العدالة الإنجابية، خاصة في ظل تحديات سياسية واقتصادية تزيد من هشاشة النساء أثناء الإنجاب.
