Ecuador es el primer país de la región en implementar el Fondo de Desarrollo Sostenible (EDF), una iniciativa de la OIM que fomenta la potencialización de las empresas a través de la entrega de fondos no reembolsables, con el objetivo de generar fuentes de empleo en condiciones dignas y sostenibles para contribuir a la revitalización del sector privado, al desarrollo económico y a la integración socio económica de las personas migrantes.
