Der Ausschuss für Humanarzneimittel (CHMP) der Europäischen Zulassungsbehörde (EMA) hat im September und Oktober unter anderem zwei Arzneimittel für neuartige Therapien (Advanced therapy medicinal products, ATMPs) zur Zulassung empfohlen, und zwar Libmeldy und Brexucabtagen autoleucel. Außerdem erhielten zwei si-RNA-Präparate, Inclisiran und Lumasiran, eine Zulassungsempfehlung. Für HIV-Patienten soll es bald eine einmal monatlich oder zweimonatlich anwendbare Injektion zur Erhaltungstherapie geben und mit dem früher als Appetitzügler eingesetzten Fenfluramin sollen künftig Patienten mit einer seltenen Epilepsieform, dem Dravet-Syndrom, behandelt werden können. Erdnusspulver als orales Allergen-Immuntherapeutikum soll zumindest teilweise vor Erdnussallergien schützen. (C) esanum.de
