The show(s) must go on! As lockdowns lift around the world it's time to take fashion’s temperature…. as we enter Paris Menswear and Haute Couture Fashion Weeks… digital Fashion Weeks, that is. Dior is showing in Puglia — but without an audience. Chanel did it’s first digital cruise in Capri … but in Paris… slash on Instagram, and Rick Owens told the New York Times he would definitely also show “how I’m not totally sure [...] but definitely not silence”. So here goes, instead of trying to give you an update on who's showing where and what’s going on when —because who really understands at this point — we have called in the authorities. Fashion No-Filterites we give you New York Times fashion reporter Elizabeth Paton. We talk through some of Elizabeth's most important recent reporting, on topics like luxury’s hidden supply chain, sustainability and racism in the industry and what it's like to be named one of the fashion industry's most influential investigative journalists.
