episode of the fit women's weekly podcast before
we jump into this episode I'm actually gonna
give a little bit of a disclaimer I
kept going back and forth whether I wanted
to put this episode out It was an
amazing conversation with dr.
Krasina pajunin who is a biohacker She's written
several books and has really been in the
field for a long time and there are

(00:22):
a lot of nuggets But that doesn't mean
that I agree with everything that she says
and it doesn't mean that I'm not skeptical
as well biohacking is One of those things
people are really really into it or some
people kind of raise an eyebrow being like,
uh, this is snake oil Right, and there
were some parts of that that made me
a little Skeptical as well, but at the
end of the day my job isn't To

(00:43):
agree with every single thing that my guests
say and I think that this is just
an important lesson in life right because this
is how life should be I Pride myself
in talking to a variety of different people
learning different people's stories and sharing their experiences
with you guys and So that is why
I decided that no You know what?
I am going to put this episode up

(01:04):
because there are a lot of tidbits and
maybe what she explains and talks about Will
resonate with you and i'm all about Experimenting

where you are and for your own personal
experiences because we are all so different So
we are going to jump into this episode.
I'm not going to give any spoilers.

kindle at fit women's weekly calm I love
hearing from you guys and I would also
love to hear your thoughts on this episode
So without further ado, let's jump right on
in Right and it's so weird you get
to a certain age and you finally realize
that your parents are getting old You know,

(02:27):
and so then every phone call you get
you're like is everything okay?
You see that's amazing what you just said
because I left Poland when I was 22
years old, right?
And my parents were at that time full
of energy and so on and I never
even considered They never got sick.

(02:49):
They were they were having good lifestyle and
everything And I never could imagine they are
getting old that they cannot move that my
mom cannot use her fingers That you know,
my mom like said look this this finger
doesn't go back and I said why not?

(03:09):
What's going on You know, it was amazing
to realize, you know that The aging process
how because when we are young we never
think about it, right?
Yeah, and I feel like it's very Things
for granted we really really do and I
think it's really interesting Now where my parents

(03:31):
are getting older and my in-laws are
Quite a bit older than my family my
parents You know, I think that we have
this stuck image as children Of our parents
at a certain age and I finally understand
why my parents always look at us and
go you're always my baby You know, I
always see you as a child and I
look at my parents go I always see
you the way that I saw you as
a Young kids and then all of a

(03:52):
sudden be hit with oh, no, y'all
are getting older.
It's really an eye opener It is an
eye opener totally totally, I haven't realized and
um, that was the time I also started
to study more about it because uh, you
see my father had always problem with his

(04:12):
lower back and he always took care of
it as much as he could And I
kept him away from surgery as much as
I could and um When he got eight
went eight eight eight the five eight the
four He didn't tell me He hired a

(04:32):
private doctor who took from him private money
for surgery Not insurance he paid from his
own pocket, which was most of his savings
Because this doctor told him that he will
save him Because he was starting having problems
with walking little bit but not not so

(04:55):
badly And he didn't tell me They went
to this hospital and he got that surgery
The surgery was unsuccessful He got another surgery
by the same doctor Yes, 85 years old

(05:16):
after this he couldn't walk at all I'm,
so sorry and he suffered Psychologically sure so
much that he he took away his life
Man, I am so so sorry.
That's terrible.
I know so I said, uh And they

(05:37):
didn't tell me because I would I would
do everything in my power because I know
Especially back surgery.
I have so many clients with a with
this type of problems and all my dot
This is something.
Okay, if you have Airplane accident and you
have falling into pieces and they have to

(05:59):
put you back together.
That's a different story, right?
But the normal degeneration Should have to rethink
twice right or three times Well, we started
talking so fast and I love it, but
I didn't want to introduce myself it's kindle
it's nice to meet you Yes, nice to

(06:19):
meet you kindle I know I checked you
and and I I knew who to whom
to expect and I was very excited about
this podcast.
So Yes, and we're already recording just so
it's been perfect I just love having conversations
with women like you and learning and I
You kind of have already mentioned it, but
I you know reading over your history and

(06:41):
your own personal story You were quite a
successful force in the tech industry with your
phd and working for different universities Helping get
patents.
So what made you decide to go and
change into biohacking and Specifically trying to turn
back the clock It is a very good
question At the time I was like typical

(07:05):
scientist And I believed in science.
I believe in doctors in I believe that
doctors are there to really Help you and
and they do and they do.
I mean i'm not Anyhow, but they don't
have enough knowledge from alternative medicine And that

(07:28):
is that that was the problem.
So what was happening?
I Uh, as when I started when I
was at university, I was always involved in
research.
I loved research and um suddenly I started
having more and more ideas about How powerful

(07:49):
we are really are that we don't utilize
our full potential That actually you could be
we could live and be much better than
we really are And and why not why
we use only so little so small piece
of our brain Why we are not regenerating

(08:13):
Like for example some animals You know, what
is the reason so I started studying and
I have um came across a movie Uh,
what the believe do we know?
I don't know if you have ever seen
that movie But it was um, it was
long time ago.

(08:34):
It was still on blockbuster So so it
was long time ago But I went to
the I I met with people who created
that movie.
That movie was basically They went to different
universities and they interview Uh scientists about quantum
physics and about uh, you know influence of

(08:56):
quantum physics how really that?
Uh influences our lives And can we you
know, so it is fascinating.
So one I went there Uh, and I
talked to them and and and I started
based on this I started working with a
professor Uh taylor from stanford university.

(09:17):
He was at his eminent scholar in in
uh material science and minimum scholar of stanford
university in material science, so You know amazing,
right and he created the device then actually
On this device we could store our intention

(09:38):
So they were um um, uh very powerful
people who could meditate and through power of
our thoughts we could We could store because
it's all electromagnetic field really we could store
those intention of this device And they and
he shipped this device to my lab in

(10:01):
florida And I had a room where I
could materialize that intention So we have a
paper on that topic on alternative journal of
alternative medicine And this was so fascinating for
me.
I thought that oh my god, that's fantastic.
What you are doing No The my colleagues

(10:22):
were what happened to you?
You were real scientist.
And now what are you doing?
You know?
It is like some garbage Did you see
this you know and I said, uh, so
I started having discord already there You know,
I said am I wasting my life because
i'm new i'm forced to do something that

(10:44):
I really don't like doing and at the
same time my husband Had a problem with
his shoulder He was not able to really
to leave this arm without the help of
the other arm And he went to doctors
he couldn't sleep at night he was like
In pain non-stop He went to the

(11:07):
doctors And the doctors did a very careful
examination with the amorite and so on And
they said that it is too damaged for
any surgery He needs to have total reverse
joint replacement And he said, okay, so if
I do that, can I water ski can

(11:27):
I do the weight lifting and I live
normal life back to life Yeah Absolutely not
You would not be able to water ski.
You have to be very careful with this
You know because you cannot fell you cannot
this you cannot that so he said i'm
not doing it Because I wanted to live
my life, you know, right?

(11:48):
So he didn't and the pain was terrible
so Um We were starting looking for the
solution Something he didn't want joint replacement.
He was in total pain.
He was destroying himself with a pain killer
so Something had to we had to find
some way And this is how we came

(12:11):
across This amazing nutraceutical That actually our neighbor
introduced because our neighbor Was Bored with arthritis
So that is terrible whole life The illness,
you know progressed and she's coming from very

(12:32):
rich american families So money was not ever
an issue And they tried everything so they're
Using normal traditional medicine alternative medicine massages acupuncture,
whatever Whatever.
She was also yoga teacher.
She had to stop doing it because she

(12:53):
Eventually, you know couldn't move She already had
both his His hips replaced and she was
waiting on a wheelchair Waiting for the knee
replacement where her massage therapist told her listen
elizabeth Try this Nutraceutical is try this drink

(13:15):
because I had phenomenal results with a lot
of my patients Or clients and and she
said I don't know I tried everything but
does it have side effects and and he
said no Okay, then give it to me
And she was shocked in four months She
cancelled the knee surgery She never had knee

(13:37):
replacement And first time she started walking daytime
because always she was so ashamed to walk
To walk so she went when it was
dark So that nobody can see her when
she was walking Because and and later on
she couldn't even walk So she went back

(13:58):
to her walking.
She straightened up.
She was and she went back to yoga
teaching You know, she could go back to
yoga.
So she came to my husband and she
said Try this because this is the only
thing that helped me.
I tried everything My husband very skeptical like
men usually very very skeptical.

(14:19):
I'm sorry for men This is my experience
that usually they get Through their lives, right?
Exactly Anyhow He said, okay I try it.
It's not going to work The first month

(14:41):
it didn't work the second month the pain
increased because you know When there are joints
there is legged ligaments here.
So when this is Getting stiff they can
dry, you know that we are drying out.
We are drying out the the Connective tissue
it degenerates.
So we have like bone on bone.

(15:01):
So when that starts expanding That's hurts So
the second month the pain increased and the
third month he called me to the kitchen
said Oh my god, look by accident.
I took the milk out of a refrigerator
with this hand in a year He basically
said I have break your shoulder So he

(15:25):
came to me and he said listen, you
are scientist So look into that because that
what happened to me is a pure Miracle
So we have obligation to help people So
I said, okay, I took diaclimical studies 37

(15:45):
clinical studies I review them and I said,
wow This is amazing So, um, I went
to the company who manufactured that and I
checked it Everything is clean is double its
quality checked twice And it's FDA approved facility
is everything I said, that's amazing So why

(16:09):
nobody knows about it?
So I grabbed that bottle and went to
this orthopedic center And I said, listen, you
gave my husband two choices only joint replacement
or live with pain And I found the
third method.
I don't want any money I want to
give a lecture here so that people can
understand they have the third solution I guess

(16:33):
what happened?
They said no Yes, they he closed the
door and he said the doctors will never
let you talk about it Because they are
here to perform surgery And they will never
let you talk about it and I said
Then this was the the thing I said,

(16:55):
I will talk to everybody Who wants to
listen what they do after this it's up
to them But they deserve to know that
they have the alternative solution And then I
started I said, well, but I don't have
enough information Why this works why everything else
doesn't so that was 14 years ago So

(17:18):
then I did I started taking the becoming
a functional nutritionist to get more information To
understand why it cannot be revealed from food
Why why all exercises do not work.
I mean they do they they are essential
But it not only and actually when you
exercise and you have bone on bone, it's

(17:40):
a little bit dangerous You have to be
very careful.
So everything goes through those 14 years I
started and we have the system now that
we can help people not only You know
the reverse their age, but as well You
know, so this was the very long answer

(18:01):
to your question, but this was You know,
that's exactly why would I do it?
When I am in electrical engineering So that
is the reason I love it.
I'm very grateful.
I'm extremely happy that I did it And
just because I know people are going to
be like, wait, what was that again?
What was the product that your husband was

(18:24):
taking It's the liquid It is the liquid
Nutroceutical and they can know more When they
go to age reversing system Dot-com and
the best thing to do it Because there
are many kinds of the products depending upon

(18:44):
what they want to achieve So if they
go to age reversing system dot-com Then
they can schedule a short meeting With me
or somebody from my office And then we
can guide them in the right direction because
you see a candle it's not You see

(19:05):
that's this this thing people want to get
something Preferably drink or peel Sit on the
sofa And hope for the best It doesn't
work this way You need to have a
system.
You have to have a support system It's

(19:25):
something like if you have somebody who wants
to you lose weight How many people have
good intention and how many people actually do
it?
Right?
The same a lot a lot of people
have the intention very few follow through Exactly
the same here.
You are transforming Your body you are transforming

(19:48):
your life at the earlier you start If
we we start some people at 13 You
know the kids because then they are the
school they can perform better they can uh,
you know, they that's so You know the
uh, because the generation starts At the age

(20:11):
of for sure 20 shows up Results are
showing up at 60 50 40 whatever Depending
right, but it doesn't start then So if
you that is the reason why I wrote
that book Biohacking Uh a way to a

(20:32):
better you because there is the whole lifestyle
described In 13 chapters, you know where you
can go to different chapter and go as
deep as as you want in order to
optimize your performance So the question is Why
would we live our lives Not optimizing our

(20:58):
performance not optimizing our body our of our
possibilities And and live the life to the
fullest.
Why wouldn't you do it?
I think that's exciting for sure Absolutely.
Yeah, absolutely What are some of the key
components?
I know that people are and I hate

(21:19):
to continue to go back to this But
for a lot of people listening they'll be
like that sounds like snake oil, right?
So what are some of the?
Ingredients so to speak that are so important
for joint regeneration or cell regeneration that can
help people Very very good question The most

(21:40):
important is that I know from dr Brady
who is a professor of orthopedia he was
teaching me right everything and he told me
the most important is For an orthopedic surgeon
knew it that we have to rebuild a
synovia fluid So what is synovia fluid synovia
fluid is that fluid in your joint so

(22:01):
they can move like oil in the car
So in other words how far you can
go in your car without an oil, you
know It's not very far the same here
once we dry out and the synovia fluid
So synovia fluid is built of hyaluronic acid
hyaluronic acid uh is unfortunately in the nature

(22:24):
Of the molecule of hyaluronic acid is too
large for our body to understand it in
there to absorb it And many companies many
manufacturers because you probably have heard that you
can buy hyaluronic acid, right?
Nobody tells Your face but they will they
test you that it stays on the top
of your face.
It doesn't penetrate it doesn't rebuild anything Why

(22:47):
because 400 kilo daltons it's not going to
go through 1.5 This is the absorption
rate so many scientific institutes in the world
Were trying to optimize that molecule and nobody
could finally That gmp labs from california the

(23:08):
company first of all Found the natural source
and this is important everybody.
It's natural source It's not a mixture.
It's it's something from nature that nature already
created nature mixed it Makes sense They they
found that source that is bio identical to

(23:32):
our body so Let's go back connective tissue
the generation of connective tissue what connective tissue
is built up the main three components are
collagen hyaluronic acid hydroid sulfate And they are
other glycomino glycos So this is the whole

(23:53):
composition.
It's not one two, three Whatever glucosamine or
whatever.
No, no, it has everything together That they
found the source and they make analysis and
they said oh my god It's exactly how
our human cartridge is built exactly so Our

(24:16):
body number one understands it as its own.
You do not put to your body anything
which is From extra from outside It is
something that you have in the body and
the body is losing it Because we lose
those main components in our body about one

(24:36):
to two percent each year It drops with
dry out So once you have something that
you can put it back the body says
oh my god I want it.
I need it.
This is my material to rebuild myself from
Now this is one thing the second thing
is which is critical that even that natural

(24:57):
source Had the molecule.
This is too large for our body to
absorb.
So it will be good for nothing.
That's why we cannot eat it Because the
molecule is too large.
So gmp labs hired scientists from Cornell Cornell
stanford and harvard And they worked for 20

(25:19):
years To find what is the optimal size
of the molecule and to make it so
finally we have the dream that has Optimize
size of the molecule and optimize size of
the performance.
It's like a key That has exact cut

(25:42):
And exact size.
So now you can put to a lock
Turn and it opens And many people say
ah, but I take collagen Collagen is one
component Of that of that whole thing.
That's number one number two it's So so

(26:06):
so this is number one and number two
is that We need our body has to
recognize and and have all these components together
In order to really rebuild itself So this
is the this is the most most important
that we can That it's recognized by the

(26:29):
body As its own so we drink it
goes from under your tongue to your molecules
and then your body You saturate your body
and your body is taking over And puts
it in the places that is the most
needed That means that sometimes people come to

(26:50):
me and they say I have pain in
my knees And of course, we create all
the program including that nutraceutical And and the
next Next month they call me and they
said what it means.
I came to you.
I have pain with my knees Now my
shoulders hurt now my also lower back hurts,

(27:12):
you know, everything hurts in my body and
I said yes, because maybe That was also
degenerated and the body is putting it and
reveals it So sometimes it's getting worse before
it gets better and that's why they need
support They need to understand what is happening

(27:34):
with their body And that's why I always
ask people to take the picture of their
face And they say why do I need
picture on my face?
I came with my knees, right?
And I said because This is the biggest
Organ in our body the skin So when

(27:54):
you take picture of your skin and then
you zoom it You see how it's rebuilding
So you have a proof How your body
is rebuilding the connective tissue is rebuilding You
can't do it with one component.
There's no way like You can't bake a

(28:15):
cake from just flour You need more than
that So and even if you have all
the ingredients if you don't know how much
You know the the right proportions the flour
the this cake wouldn't be any good, right?
Right So that's that's basically and and I

(28:37):
sometimes Explain to people, you know with this
molecule size Just imagine you have a yacht
And you have that yacht or a boat
whatever In the storage and the storage with
tiny doors How do you take that yacht
out of the storage Can you take and

(28:59):
cut it, you know and put it out?
No, because it won't be useful You have
to disassemble it Piece by piece And then
assemble it back outside the storage in order
to Put it back to water And the
same here it is very difficult process process

(29:19):
to make that that molecule Absorbable by our
bodies and people don't think about it People
are taking a lot of supplements and they
don't think how absorbable are they?
What is they clean if they are clean
or not?
If they really your body really needs them

(29:41):
or not You know a lot of people
are paying a lot of money for very
expensive urine Exactly, you know and and and
and you don't even know if your body
needs it, right?
So believe it or not
