Soon after, they started Mika's Lunch, which is a non-profit group dedicated to providing malnourished Haitian and Dominican children living in bateys (squatter villages) in the D.R. a hot nutritious meal. In this podcast, they tell stories about how they got started, how they got the name Mika's Lunch, and what their ultimate hopes and dreams are for this organization.
