We finally got a stress free week of college football. Honestly here at The GABACast the bye week has become our favorite week because there's no stressing out about the Gamecocks. Let's dive in:
Well, in the same way that the win over Auburn was exhilarating, that game was a complete disappointment. But the Gamecocks are 2-3 going into the bye week and, if we're being honest with ourselves, that's right about what everyone expected out of this team record wise. Anyways, we had a GABACast record for Twitter questions this week so it's an action packed episode this week.
That was a hell of a win for the Gamecocks. We've seen the team fail to build on any kind of momentum all too many times but, after a slow start, really finished the game strong and got a solid win over Auburn for the first time since 1933.
