Brought to you each and every day, especially today by

we had the wrong graphics up for the wrong show.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
It couldn't have been an any wronger.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
Show to coordinate with this show, so we had to
rewind and start the show over.
Speaker 6 (02:55):
But here we are.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
Friday Game Week and if you hear some noise, yes,
everyone on the show is eating, including everyone in the back.
Thanks to Wingstop, we got a flavor drop today, our.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Last one of the year. Man, it is good, good, good,
and we're eating on the air.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
Sorry, Derek, if you're listening, we apologize.
Speaker 6 (03:19):
Derek's not here today, so good. Well, he may be
listening anyway.
Speaker 7 (03:23):
So and you think he's listening to them more show.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
No flavor blitz? You think the Cowboys got a flavor?
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Look at that flavor.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Blitz on the bag?
Speaker 4 (03:32):
Here, look at that got a Cowboys star on one
side and the flavor blitz there, yea sticker.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
What's your flavor, Shannon, Like, we'll get to our other flavored, boy, like,
what is your flavor in the bag? Yeaheah, we'll get
your other flavor suit? What are your flavors?
Speaker 3 (03:46):
I got four barbecue, mango.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Have a narrow talk about hot maintenance.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
I am variety the Cowboys flavor which is half uh
half lemon pepper, half hot and then uh marbit.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
So here's what we'll do. You tell us your flavor,
your food flavor, and then you express your flavor on
like a hobby. What do you do like outside of
what we do here? That really expresses who you are?
Speaker 6 (04:17):
All right?
Speaker 3 (04:18):
So I already told you my flavors, Yeah, my two hobby.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
But it was kind of match though.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Yeah, outside of work, besides chasing a four year old around,
probably going to the gym because that keeps me sane.
And playing video games is what I do when I
have free times.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Sound like you're a week liquing on video games.
Speaker 8 (04:42):
You know.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
Everybody that I play with, which a lot of them
work in this building, try to make me feel better
and tell me, because every time I get off, they
all text me, hey, we just got to win.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
We just got to win.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
It never fails every night, every night, and I'm like,
and Chris tries to make me feel better.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
He's like, bro, you're not You're not the weakest link.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
And at some point, at some point, when it happens
often enough, you have to have enough self awareness to
be like, I just suck Okay, I.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Suck it for it, but you keep trying. That's what
I get on it.
Speaker 6 (05:11):
That's because he can't focus on a flavor.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
He's like, three dudes jump out at me, and I'm
trying to shoot all three of them instead of focusing on.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
One and getting down like spraying.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
So what's your flavor that you go with?
Speaker 5 (05:25):
I go with plane with ranch dressing every time, and
I am a plane dude.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Just how the plain wings take.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
So side. We didn't think they would go to be
here today.
Speaker 7 (05:37):
Because yesterday he said he was, because he did say
he wasn't.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Two days ago. Yes, and then he just text us wow,
and the group text.
Speaker 6 (05:46):
Say on the way.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
So the wings came in and I was like, well,
we gotta do on sitting there, I dug in and
I was honest though I didn't let him walk into
my he he only gave me eight.
Speaker 6 (05:59):
I'm like, no, I want another even counting them.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
So but anyway, I'm a plain cause you know, getting
caught plain black cor playing on red car.
Speaker 6 (06:09):
And woman only thing that's a little bit different.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
She ain't playing. Yeah, she's real miss Michelle. Yeah yeah,
don't use that day shadow, don't use that day So
your your your passion is driving your flavor. Yeah, my
passion is driving and being consistent on that road. Man,
just all after hours, just a plain old truble.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
What is the longest you have ever driven without taking
a break or slept without sleeping?
Speaker 5 (06:37):
Probably about twenty one three, Yeah, because I don't know
if I was going to Michigan or I was going
to California for the first time. I was just so excited,
you know, you just ready to get there. But when
I got there and I came, I got some living
or even came back. But I slept like two or
three days when I got back.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
That is it is only it is only fourteen hour
drive to Jacksonville, Florida from Dallas. Yeah, so imagine going
to Jacksonville, Florida and back without sleeping basically is what
he did. At least the Pensacola.
Speaker 6 (07:12):
See that's against the law if you're a trucker. Yeah,
they'll shut you down.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Your long books better be right, Yeah, your log books
better be You have your CDL, No, man, no, no, no,
I'm the only person on the just to have the Cdo.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
You have your CDL?
Speaker 1 (07:25):
I do have my ct for what bus or something?
Speaker 2 (07:27):
No?
Speaker 4 (07:28):
I did drive a bus pain so he can get
in and after the trailer parks.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Just take him home with it.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Up.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Somebody one of them.
Speaker 6 (07:40):
Don't don't do it.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
He's like, I have to take your house.
Speaker 6 (07:44):
She in there somewhere right back there. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
I have my CDOs. I went and got them this summer.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Really I did for the school stuff.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
No, just just to have them. I wanted that. I
always wanted to trade like I always wanted something.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
Some people want tsa pre check here, Jesse wants to
CD just.
Speaker 7 (08:01):
To have it.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
I'm a worker, y'all know this, and I never want
to be caught with my pants down. Well boss, you
know what I mean. I just never want I never
want to be in a position where if if Derek decides,
hey you done, if my other company decides we folded.
You know, I've already been fired from a school, you know,
(08:26):
but randomly, just one day they decided to fire me.
So I was like, I need to find something that
has value that will if we in the event that
we guilt to a shutdown again right like we did
in twenty twenty one, is valuable enough that's gonna still
be able to pay my mortgage.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Yeah, something nobody can take from you.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Nothing And but getting your CDLs. The only thing that
I'm required to do is every two years to go
and get my medical card. Go, so we get to
a check up my vision, making sure I can stand up. See,
you know, that's it. They don't expire. It's my driver's license,
so alone, I'm not getting speeding tickets or accidents and
(09:07):
anything like that. I don't drink, so I ain't no
DUI is coming in my future. But yeah, so I
went and got it this summer. It was like I
went to a school. It was like four weeks. Yeah,
that's awesome. Yeah, and I am the least person when
it comes to like technical stuff, but yeah, I learned
all about the truck and how to drive it and
all the parts to it. That to take a test
and all these tests. It's not a lot of tests, not,
(09:29):
they're not. It's not hard at all. Actually, and then
you do the state test on the what they call
it a pad like at the school.
Speaker 6 (09:38):
So I did.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Yeah, I did a lot, like four weeks.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
So cool.
Speaker 8 (09:42):
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a trucker.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
He's so cool.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
I think it'd be fun. But I have a problem
staying awake.
Speaker 6 (09:48):
Whenever I drive long distance.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
It's like I start after about six hours, I start
nodding off.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
And you don't. You don't need to be on the
truck not and like a car, once that things start
going one way stop, you ain't stopping it automatically. You
wait whipping it back into another lane. That thing will
flip over them. So all right, Kurt, what's your flavor?
And uh, what's your what's your meal flavor? Is what's
your meal flavored?
Speaker 6 (10:09):
Luisi and rub?
Speaker 3 (10:11):
You like the dry yeah, yeah.
Speaker 8 (10:13):
A little spice, a little kick to it, like that
other other flavors. Big baseball fans, So I dig into that.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
And music, big music guy. On concertgoing.
Speaker 8 (10:23):
I'll go to a few concerts here and there.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
How many concerts do you think you see a year?
Speaker 5 (10:27):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (10:27):
Year?
Speaker 1 (10:27):
No anymore?
Speaker 8 (10:28):
Not not very many.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
But in your prime, like in your Kirk concert, I went.
Speaker 8 (10:32):
Through a stretch where it was in you know, my youth,
where it was several year. I don't know ten or something.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
You should I started this last year and my terrible
job of finishing it. But I started a spreadsheet of
all the bands, or I did that I've seen I
got up to like one hundred and thirty before I quit.
Speaker 8 (10:50):
Wow, maybe ahead of me.
Speaker 6 (10:52):
I didn't.
Speaker 8 (10:52):
I went through a stretch where I really hit him hard.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
But yeah, a long time.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
So what about you, Jess?
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I go with the uh, the high honey, another dry
rup really good like it has a sweet You are
the only one.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
That's got playing.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
Look he got his hands like a fat man.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
He's down his shirt, his pant.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
God, it's so good. But no, I go with I
go with the hot honey man, and uh, the drive
up really really really good, like it's a mixture of
the sweet and yeah, you can grab one of these. Man,
it's all flats, Like I like all flats. I'm a
flat guy. Give me all flats. F fried hard.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
I think I got that by accident.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Yeah, this is this is that's really good. Off off,
I would say, man, like my charity, Holly's Helping Hands.
By the way, if you want to don'tate the Holly's

(12:01):
can donate.
Speaker 6 (12:02):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Yeah, man, that's like off the field, off the well,
I guess, off the desk. My charity, man, I'm a
giver at heart, honestly. Like if I if I ever
hit the lottery, like one of those big time lotteries,
I'm going to disappear. I'm sorry, guys, Mega millions is
up to I'm out of here five hundred. But I
(12:24):
would be no, no, no, but there will be some signs. Yeah,
no one will know, but there will. The absence will
be the first sign. But like you, guys, I would
call each one of you and be like what you
need whatever, Like, tell me one thing that you want,
be like a house, You got it. And then you like,
give me give me the newest sprinter sprinter van. You
got it. You're like, hey, I want to go on
(12:44):

the world. I'll get you. I'll get you set up.
Speaker 6 (12:49):

got you, Chris, And I'll just be but you won't
ever see me.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
And then you're gone.
Speaker 6 (12:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Do you play the lottery?
Speaker 1 (12:57):
No, no, don't do. I go to seven eleven, pump eight,
scratch off, give me a little fire off, scratch off
every now and again. But I only get out. Here's
the thing with my scratch offs. I only get eight, nine,
sixteen or twenty four.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
That's it in the case.
Speaker 6 (13:13):
Yeah, the number numbers, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Eight, nine, sixteen, twenty four.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
What's nine, sixteen and twenty four?
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Well eight, of course, like Kobe's my favorite player, right,
so eight and then number nine is my favorite, Like
football number, my first favorite football number, and then sixteen
was the one that was given to me by Michael
uh Not turned into my favorite number. And then twenty
four is my favorite basketball number I played in high school. Okay,
so those are my numbers eight and union man, let
(13:42):
me tell you the time. So yeah, so that's our
flavor on and off. Thank you wink stop?
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Yeah, what about you, Chris?
Speaker 6 (13:51):
You got me meant bike? I know now you said,

Speaker 5 (14:00):
Yeah yeah, the other week stage is that?
Speaker 3 (14:05):
That wing stage? Name around that?
Speaker 4 (14:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
When that ante wheeler rig pull up in there, I'm
looking for hot honey.
Speaker 7 (14:13):
Right, I'm a garlic parmesan and then a lemon pepper guy.
Speaker 6 (14:18):
That used to be my two flavors. But really that
heartburn Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
I kick you.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
I had to take my heart burn peel before I
came in. And what about off off the man off
the field?
Speaker 7 (14:29):
You know, I like to I like to I like
to backpack, you know, I like to I like to
go we go and uh get a backpack on and.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Throw and just that's in the gaming world. That's what
you call carrying your teammates. You put them in a backpack.
Speaker 6 (14:49):
Yourself.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
You can tell nobody here has ever played a video game.
Speaker 5 (14:57):
I said, backpacks like.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Like camping or nothing.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
That's funny. You know what, I jump away?
Speaker 6 (15:08):
I got a double.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
You know it's really bad?
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Is I have gotten so much better in the last
two months that I've been playing, and I'm still bad.
Speaker 3 (15:18):

Eighty nine cents ballot at participating stores, fill up at
pump eight and get ready for game day. Speaking of
game day, how in the world are the Cowboys underdogs
to the Caroline of Panthers three points? But I mean
that that's basically a toss up because you get three
(19:02):
for being at home over under his forty three points.
Who would have saw this coming even last week before
the Bengals game, Like, I don't get it. But anyway, anyway,
oh man, how big of a deal is this week
going to be coming off of short rest than playing
(19:23):
on Monday night and then going into Sunday Nate?
Speaker 3 (19:25):
Is it a huge deal?
Speaker 6 (19:27):
Not?
Speaker 5 (19:27):
Not for it wasn't for me as offensive line because
if Thursdays was the only you know what I'm saying
that I was the only kicker. If they catch you at
the end of the year, you do a Monday night
and then they throw a Saturday on you, that could
beat But this right here for a guy like CD
(19:48):
who need that extra day. Guys got an injured who
need that extra day. With me, I just you know,
I always rolled, you know, I'm always good, you know.
For Jess, it could have been a little bit different
that playing team. That's that's a scary thing when you.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Start talking about where you're at in the year, right,
it's late this year, December. Everyone's dealing with something, yes, right,
and so those twenty four forty eight hours of rest
means a world of difference to your legs. So if
you're a ceed Lamb, if you're Rico, if you're you know,
(20:30):
Trayvon Diggs is coming off the growing knee situation, think
about the days that he needs, because that that needs
going to react, that growing is going to react having
that time to let your body rest and rejuvenate. And
then mentally, it's always that because football players are some
of the most routine players. And you know, you're playing
(20:52):
on Sunday and then Monday, I go get this done. Tuesday,
I get this done, Wednesday, I get this done, Thursday,
I get this done Friday, Saturday. So on the smell
and now, when you play on Monday, it throws Monday
into Tuesday and then Tuesday and all those pieces go
together like a puzzle to get me to Sunday, you
know what I mean. So sometimes you might have to
(21:12):
pack in two things in a day and you gotta
hope your body responds to it the way you want
it to. You know what I mean, Because everything was
like a puzzle piece that I did to get my
body ready to go for that for that fight again.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
Yes, we're gonna just talk, man, and see that is
the difference of a guy that is caring for his body.
He you know, just cared for his body. Emit cared
for his body. I didn't care. You got guys over there,
I'm serious. You got maybe twenty guys and ain't it
ain't most of the team is getting in line. Most
of these guys are more in line to just in
(21:49):
it in his in his theories. But you still got
ten to fifteen guys like, oh oh well, okay, it's
you know this crank it up.
Speaker 6 (21:56):
But I'm with you, Yeah, I am definitely rich.
Speaker 8 (22:00):
Just the evolution of how guys train a lot different
now than it.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Wasn't Yes you were playing, yeah, but the but the
impact is still the same, right like the Sundays the
Monday is still the same. Yes, what game still takes
a toll on your body?
Speaker 4 (22:14):
How many guys are total in the locker room practice
squad guys.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Sixty sixty sixty eight. Sixty sixty eight.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Is say sixty five?
Speaker 6 (22:23):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (22:24):
Out of those sixty five, how many guys over there
do you think?
Speaker 11 (22:27):
You know?
Speaker 3 (22:28):
Now, nutrition is a big deal.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
When you played it, it was more just how many
calories can you consume? Not good calories, bad calories, micro
you know, macro nutrients and everything. How many guys do
you think over there really care out of those sixty
five really watch what goes in their body, really care,
really are structured with their workouts. Like Nate said, there's
there's a there's a percent or a subset that doesn't care.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
What what do you think that is?
Speaker 6 (22:54):
I'm gonna say thirty five, thirty five? What that really?
Speaker 7 (22:58):
No?
Speaker 6 (23:00):
I kind of say that man, because.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
You when you said ten or fifteen, you were.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Like, yeah, yeah, no, ten to fifteen that don't care?
Speaker 6 (23:08):
That do care?
Speaker 3 (23:09):
That dude? Really?
Speaker 6 (23:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (23:11):
You got god like Eric Kendrick cares, Rico care. I
not know this because they did an interview with him. Yeah, Rico,
Eric Kendricks, Ricos.
Speaker 6 (23:24):
We're talking about you think Parsons. Do you think the
man just faking?
Speaker 10 (23:28):
Just No?
Speaker 1 (23:28):
I think the man just like I think he's still
I still think he still thinks he's a machine. Ceedee Lamb.
I know for a fact, Ceedee Lamb. Brandon cooks.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
And there's levels to it too, Right, there's some guys
that are very nutrition focused, but they're not maybe talking about.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Eating right. Recovery so resting, you know, in the recovery, compression, compression, cryo,
ice tub, hot tub, a cupping, scraping, sleeping.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
So like all in on every Yeah, there's about ten,
there's about ten to fifteen.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
I believe.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
I believe that because that that's that is the definition
of dedication.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
And Lebron being a professional.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
That is a part of being professional. That is a
part of that.
Speaker 4 (24:20):
That's the ultimate professional because that's getting up at four
in the morning and going to bed at eleven at
night and every.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
But that's having a routine like that that you understand
what your body needs to recover. And I'm not knocking Micah,
but well you have suching like like for two years,
Dez Bryant was my roommate and training camp off season
on the road. Now, don't get me wrong, there I
(24:48):
was in the beginning of Dez being one of the
most dominant receivers in the league for about a two
or three year span. But I would watch him get
up some mornings and don't even eat breakfast, grab a
handful of gummy bears. When he gets down to the
locker room, it's right before the horn about to go
off that we need to be on the field. He
(25:09):
come out there, Cleat's untied. He goof around in the
whole stretch line and then go tear you up and
let go and and talk and let you know about it.
Tear you up. Cleats ain't even tied. He ain't putting
no flex all on. He ain't taking no ivory. Poor fan.
He ain't got no eight hundred milligrams and nothing. He
(25:29):
ain't stretched. He had the trainers come out the weight room,
people come out and get an extra stretch, none of that,
and then they go one on one. He the first
one in the line. So it's I'm telling you now,
it's some kinds.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
Of just and you hear about like Chad Johnson said,
he ate McDonald's every which is single meal.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
For that was my first team in the league. But
which is a fact.
Speaker 4 (25:49):
Now, I've always wondered this, do you think if guys
like that really took care of their bodies?
Speaker 1 (25:57):
Chad ate McDonald's. But Chad did the other st Chad
did massages and hot cub and total and he like
he did all the stretching, Like Chad did everything to
keep his body, like in in the proper shape. He
worked out and he was conditioned. He just ate McDonald's.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
Do you think guys that are like like dads and
like Chad Johnson and freaks in their body do you
think if they did those things it would have made
a difference or they just such freaks that it doesn't
really matter what they do, Like Mike was like that, right,
he could just go out and do whatever that night,
show up and like if he did take.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
Care of himself, would it have made a difference.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
Or they just so psychotic and freaks the nature physically
that it really wouldn't matter if they did or not.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
No, I think of Daz did that, he would have
his career would have been long longer.
Speaker 6 (26:44):
Oh, definitely, definitely.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
My ears Mike.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
Four years.
Speaker 5 (26:49):
The thing about it is Mike, Mike did both of them.
And that's the funny thing about it. He'll sit at
the training table here, eat all the right things, but.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
Afternoon eating all the wrong thing.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
But at three in the morning. You can catch him
running that track. You know, you know he was he
was a weird cat man. He was gonna get his
business in. Yeah, you know, he was gonna get his
business in.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
And I like, and to be honest, like you see
more of the veteran guys do that, because six years
in you really you really understand, like, I gotta really
do this, you become mortal.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Yeah, yeah, you see the end. You see the end.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Guys like Mariy Sluafile is doing that. I don't believe
guys like to Marvin Overshown is like really taking care
of it. And I'm not saying it's like they're not
doing anything, but I don't think that they're like going
on in maturing. But then you have a guy like
I don't really believe that a guy like Trayvon is
doing that. I don't, you know, I don't I don't
see him to being the titles like nah.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
And there's levels to it, right.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
There's guys that like watch what they eat and they
know what they eat, but they're not doing the cupping
and all that other stuff. And then there's guys that
hit the weight room really hard and they know about
the proteins and all this, but they don't do the
other stuff.
Speaker 6 (28:03):
But if you want your.
Speaker 5 (28:08):
Grid to be lengthen I promise you that what I did,
what I was for a long time was flexible. Yeah,
if you if you stay stretching. People asked me all
the time, and they started laughing. I'd be like, wow, well,
what what what?
Speaker 6 (28:23):
What? What?
Speaker 5 (28:23):
What advice do you have for my kid? I said,
not ever seeing your kid or being around your kid,
please let them stretch before doing an after shout out
the coach and I tried to and people look at me.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
I said, okay, when you get that first growing? Does
she get that first growing?
Speaker 5 (28:40):
Y'all? Don't handle it right with the right type of stretching,
doing things, icing it, you know, warming it up right.
Speaker 6 (28:47):
I said, it's gonna.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
Ling a two.
Speaker 6 (28:51):
Days over with your throwing on your neck.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
I got a cramp last night, and the first thing
I did, y'all, I started laughing.
Speaker 6 (28:57):
I didn't even do it, put hot rag of my neck.
I didn't even do it because I thought about.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Could you do the splits?
Speaker 6 (29:06):
Almost got ya? I got close. But because a.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
Dude named Frank Middleton used to do it in college,
you could do a split, and I started working on it.
But man, after time, like nah, man, you mess right
hand and in.
Speaker 6 (29:17):
That flow, be slippery.
Speaker 5 (29:18):
You ain't ready that they really get you.
Speaker 6 (29:22):
You may lose something.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
What's the weirdest place that you get? You guys get cramps.
Speaker 6 (29:28):
I have to.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
I get them in my calf at night where my foot,
my foot, my toes curl up, and I get one
in the back of my I get like that your.
Speaker 13 (29:40):
Toes dump maybe that walk two thousand and.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
I'll get one.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
I get one in the back of my neck, like
right here, the base of my like base of my skull,
and like and you can't stretch that.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Like you leave your head. And it's the weirdest thing.
Speaker 10 (30:03):
Man.
Speaker 5 (30:04):
I went to the I paniced one night because I
was cramping, and I people like, sir, you just gotta crack.
Speaker 6 (30:11):
Man.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
I thought you went to the hospital.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
I went to.
Speaker 5 (30:14):
Oh dude, if you get a bad one there, Oh man,
I took my way off so many brother, you all
about to cry.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
Man, Man, you get your big It's just a crab,
just a crap, got a head cramp.
Speaker 6 (30:27):

you out of the statem Jordan Lewis. Jordan Lewis, Yeah,
thank you man. Jordan Lewis. Please don't get this man
upset because hes gonna throw Jamal Lewis wuld have.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Did the same thing running back from the Baltimore Ravens.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
I think he had two hundred and two thousand, nine
hundred and twenty seven yards the final game in Texas
Stadium two thousand, Jamal Lewis, it seemed like it.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
I think he actually had like two hundred.
Speaker 6 (33:50):
Cores, hell forty even out one thing. But Jamal Lewis
when I said Jamal, and mess with the kid's name.
But I'm telling you.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
He was.
Speaker 6 (33:59):
He was just they had him on some show and
I played in the era real running back?
Speaker 3 (34:05):
Who's Who's who is the best running back?
Speaker 6 (34:06):
You you ever saw? Barry saw all of them?
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Who was who is the best?
Speaker 5 (34:11):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (34:12):
You played with one of them? But who is the
best besides EMMITTT.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Smith?
Speaker 6 (34:15):
And who is the man?
Speaker 5 (34:16):
I'm trying to tell you. When I saw Eric Dickerson,
you talking about smooth and I mean his legs be
churning and no, like you be going towhere, But he
just study his head, never moved on.
Speaker 6 (34:29):
He was just like sweet man. He ran.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
He was one of the first guys to run up, right,
wasn't he?
Speaker 6 (34:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (34:35):
And I saw a little bit of Walter Payton, Just
a little bit of Walter Payton. He wasn't in this prime, uh, Barry,
But it was always Bearry Man.
Speaker 6 (34:43):
Really. I mean it's some teams. I never took a
seat when we came on sideline. I would tell the
coach man, you got what's up? Coach what's up? I
tell what's up? What do we need to do?
Speaker 7 (34:53):
What?
Speaker 13 (34:54):
You know?
Speaker 6 (34:55):
Hey, we we're good.
Speaker 5 (34:56):
Were goodalk strip a couple of times Jimmy had to
move me back.
Speaker 6 (35:00):
Man, I'm like, I'm hollering Joe Montana.
Speaker 5 (35:04):
I mean, I knew you asked about running backs and
just talking about people that I did not sit down
that ice Bowl with Marino and alt Man.
Speaker 6 (35:13):
Please, you don't get to see that type of talent.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I did that with Adrian Peterson, Randy Moss. You go
and watch you going, you playing, but you got a
little you got a little admiration going on over there.
Speaker 6 (35:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Man, You're like, hey, I got I'm in the game,
but I got the best seat in the house.
Speaker 4 (35:30):
And uh yeah, any crazy the broadcast the Bengals and
the Cowboys broadcast, they asked Jamar Chase if he had
trained with Randy, you know, because he played with his
son in l s U. And he was like, nah,
you know, I'd like to. You would think somebody at
that level would would you know, not be or reach
(35:52):
out and not be. But there's still that that area
around them where you don't want to impose and intrude,
and you know, you don't want to, you know, you
don't want to be that guy that reaches out like
there's still guys no matter how famous you get, you
still have.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
There's Liary for his Gerald one time in Phoenix, next
level stuff.
Speaker 6 (36:11):
Man, I tell you had the baddest body to be
as great as he was.
Speaker 3 (36:17):
Who do tell me you luck?
Speaker 6 (36:20):
Joe Montana had a rag at the boss. Joe.
Speaker 5 (36:24):
I looked at his elbows like God, Joe looked like
he was eighty years old just looking at it.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
That's how Tony was. Tony No, I'm not hearing Tony
and Joe Montana right, but Tony had he Tony had
a dad body at his early thirties. Yeah, before he
even had any kids. He had a terrible body.
Speaker 8 (36:41):
Brady coming out of college he was yeah yeah.
Speaker 5 (36:45):
And Brady last year's when he decided to lose all
the weight and all of that TV twelve. But you
know who I want to see live is Lamar Lamar Jackson.
I want to see him lie. I want to see
him shake somebody. They say he is one of the
quickest dudes ever. Man.
Speaker 6 (37:01):
I would like to see him. Yeah, in person. It's
like hockey. I tell people, if you want to go
see a sport where people will amaze you.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Go watch hot Oh there's nothing like play hockey.
Speaker 6 (37:12):
Yeah, like that's the next level. What is did you
Jordan's personally play.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
I'm not tooting my own horn. I'm not tooting my
own horn, but please do.
Speaker 12 (37:22):
But but.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
I got a chance to play with Jordan Okay, okay,
yeah yeah in practice.
Speaker 3 (37:30):
Yeah, you didn't get sent to the kids court.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
You actually got to play play on Yeah, it was
it was quick though. You don't touch him.
Speaker 6 (37:40):
How was it?
Speaker 3 (37:40):
When was this?
Speaker 14 (37:42):
This was?
Speaker 1 (37:42):
Had youwo thousand and four summertime?
Speaker 3 (37:46):
Had you graduated?
Speaker 1 (37:47):
I was still there?
Speaker 6 (37:48):
So you were there?
Speaker 5 (37:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (37:49):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (37:50):
Morning? Was there? Came that morning Jordan's stock house, Antoine, Yeah,
it was. It was the who's who of night basketball.
And the thing was, so the rule that Carolina is
current players stay on.
Speaker 4 (38:04):
The court unless you're Michael Jordan and Rashie Wallace because
she might tear the place down.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
You know, Mike, she tell you get off. There's a
couple of people when they tell you to move, you move.
But she's one of them. Of course, Michael's one of
them for different reasons, right, No, all for the same reason.
And Jerry Stackhouse, especially Jerry Stackhouse.
Speaker 6 (38:30):
Stack out like that man tell us the story.
Speaker 8 (38:34):
Man.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
You know you know some of the things. But if
you know about Stackhouse's career in the NBA and how
he touched up some folks in the NBA, Stack Stack coach. Now, yeah,
he's he was at Vanderbilt. They fired him this past year.
He's an assistant Warriors. I want to say the Warriors,
Yeah Stack. When Stack say move, move, behooves you to
(39:00):
go ahead. And I tell yourself about the way you
don't trust me, you don't want no.
Speaker 6 (39:06):
You know that's old school.
Speaker 1 (39:08):
Yeah. Yeah. I thought I was gonna dunk on the linzo.
I thought I had him. I thought I had him.
What happened, Man, I took so I get a steal.
He passes the ball up the court. I get a steal.
So I'm coming down the right side line. He's already
like on the block by the basket, basically waiting on me.
And I'm thinking to myself, I'm young, I'm athletic, and
(39:30):
I could jump, like back in the day, I could
really really jump. I'm like, when I dunk on the linzo,
they yell and I'm gonna yell like I'm not gonna
let him get away with this, and I take off
and I'm like, I got him. And I always would jump.
I was a two foot to jumper, and I dunk
better with my left hand. I'm dominat right handed, but
I dunk better with my left hand. And I go
and I'm rising and I'm like, I got him. Lo
(39:53):
and behore I forgot in the back of my mind
this is one of the NBA's all time dating shot blockers.
And I'm like, I got him, I got him. And
then he takes off and I'm like oh, and as
I'm coming down, he's on his way up and like
this is the difference between man strength and college Godstrath.
We meet at the rim and he just grabs the ball.
Speaker 6 (40:15):
Like out of the air.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
And like just sends me back and I like, I'm
like this, like I just start fallowing back and he
blocked my shot and he called me a little a
little yeah, yeah, yeah, get up. I was like, damn yeah.
So if you know anybody that if you if you're
watching this, you know you wouldn't see our summertime run
(40:41):
is legendary. And you think about all the guys who
came from the research tryinggle you know, Duke West and
Sailor and wait for it, come on, Chris Paul, Chris Bosh.
Those guys would come back and play guys yeah JJ
reddick the yeah, so like good night. So we would
we would work camping.
Speaker 6 (40:57):
I know, we gotta go.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
We work camp in the daytime and then at night
is where we play basketball. So we played basketball starting
at like ten o'clock and it would go to one
two o'clock in the morning. Then you in the locker room.
Guys would have their beers and stuff in there. We
go to waffle House or Michael used to have a
restaurant in Chapel Hill, or we go to Michael's restaurant
and you know, and have a good time, but you
wouldn't see basketball. Now, I will say this when when
(41:22):
certain games happened, you you like when I got on
with Jordan, it was like I got lucked into because
normally the starters are like now we we go, we
we on this, we on this, and and then if
they get depending on who in the gym, like Mike's
not getting off, just not happening, and who won tell
who will tell him to get off. Who want to
tell him.
Speaker 6 (41:42):
To get off?
Speaker 3 (41:43):
Does he still go back?
Speaker 1 (41:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (41:45):
Does he play?
Speaker 1 (41:45):
I don't know if he plays, but he still goes back.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
That's got that had to be so awesome just playing
gym rules basketball.
Speaker 1 (41:52):
And like in the gym and yeah, you don't know,
And then like who was it Reggie Miller Regimenter talked, No,
he didn't play, but Regimental talked about calling Jordan's black Jesus.
I'm telling you, I am, I Am, I love the Lord,
and I'm not comparing nobody to Jesus. It felt like Jesus.
(42:15):
It felt like it felt like the Holy Spirit when
I first found he walked to the way when we
were in the weight room. When he first walked in,
his presence filled the entire weight room. If I'm like,
I don't know what it feels like for Jesus to
come back, but I've been in I've been in the
room where the Holy Spirit was in there, and when
(42:35):
Mike walked in, it felt like the Holy Spirit had
walked in the room.
Speaker 4 (42:40):
That have you ever been in the room like with
like a really famous person and you feel like you
don't even you don't even have to know they're in there.
Speaker 3 (42:47):
You just feel something that's like because something is that
it's such a weird thing.
Speaker 11 (42:53):
Man.
Speaker 5 (42:55):
I met him at Prime Place. It was the same
way when I met him at Dion's Club. It was
the same way. DA was getting ready to play the
MAVs the next day and I was like this, this
dude is he's weird and he's different.
Speaker 1 (43:07):
But I don't know if you can see it, Chris,
I don't know if we can pull it up on
the what you call it. But the guy in the
black and the black shirt, that's Michael Jordans.
Speaker 6 (43:17):
Can you see it?
Speaker 1 (43:19):
The guy in the black shirt is you pull it
up on them.
Speaker 7 (43:24):
Just like him?
Speaker 11 (43:24):
Yeah? Well you.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
Like that however it is, that's Michael Jordan. And I'm
in the I'm in that group picture too. And you
know Mike, Yeah, you see the guy with the number
number zero jersey on backwards, say, Holly on it.
Speaker 6 (43:41):
That's your boy.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
Wow, cleanup the.
Speaker 5 (43:44):
Thing is And I know this is weird. This is
this is a Shannon Shannon is about you. Yeah, but
he had one of the coolest walks. Yeah, Jordan, Yeah,
he had one of the coolest walks. I was like,
this dude, ain't nothing wrong about this, dude. Even ball
Head ain't ain't wrong with this dude.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
Yeah, I'm telling you, I felt like, I don't know
what Jesus feels like in a room, but that's what
it felt like. When I go to Heaven, I'll be
able to I'll be able to competitor to It felt
like Jesus.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
It's such a cool like yesterday was a big day
for Michael Jordan.
Speaker 6 (44:19):
Well kinda what was it?
Speaker 3 (44:21):
You see what happened yesterday?
Speaker 1 (44:22):
And Bill Belichick? No, what?
Speaker 7 (44:25):
Michael finally sold that house in Chicago. It was on
the market for twelve years.
Speaker 3 (44:32):
Wow, he sold it, yes.
Speaker 7 (44:33):
Much, I'm looking at this. This was on the market
for fourteen point nine. He put about fifty million into it,
so wow. But you know he is worth three point
five billions, so he makes like.
Speaker 3 (44:47):
Twelve thousand dollars a minute or something like that just
from it.
Speaker 7 (44:50):
I saw I saw his Nike deal five point five
million a day, Mikey deal.
Speaker 3 (44:57):
Wow, about twelve grand a minute, thinks what it is? Yeah, yeah,
indiduals and probably.
Speaker 7 (45:01):
Thinking about how many Jordan's shoes they sell now, I
mean it's probably more. He probably sells more shoes now
than he did when he played Oh yeah, like a
lot more everybody.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
Jordan, he was the one that told Charles Barkley. Uh,
he told when Charles Barkley did his Nike deal, Charles
wanted like twenty thirty million dollars and he said, what
do you You don't need all that money. He said,
take five million to tell him to give you like
three percent like into the company. He's like what he said,
trust me, And Charles didn't went for five million dollars
(45:31):
and got three percent of you know, into the company.
And Charles is still making money today. That's why Charles
can say what he wants on TV. He's still getting
he's still getting wet.
Speaker 6 (45:41):
We're gonna go and bleed off into that be fun.
Speaker 7 (45:45):
Like that.
Speaker 6 (45:46):
Man.
Speaker 5 (45:46):
We I know we number one, but that has been
a humble number one. Take your time, Shannon, right.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
Now, Kurt, what do you got this week?
Speaker 8 (45:55):
Cowboys think they're gonna can't believe they're gonna lose to
a three and ten team. So with your score like
twenty seventeen.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
Twenty seventeen Cowboys, Chris, what you got Cowboys thirty four
to twenty six. We're gonna return an on site Kay
for a touchdown thirty four to twenty six on side?
Is that gonna be Ao or I don't know, pick one.
Speaker 6 (46:18):
He's gonna stand up?
Speaker 3 (46:19):
Is Josh back there?
Speaker 6 (46:21):
Josh?
Speaker 3 (46:22):
He took his wings and went home. All right, good
for him, Nate.
Speaker 5 (46:27):
We're gonna blow these cats out. Well, they've been playing,
they've been playing as good as they could play. And
they've been football team. Yeah, they've been playing as good
as they can play, even though they've been losing. They're
gonna get blowed out.
Speaker 6 (46:37):
Bro all right, I will.
Speaker 3 (46:40):
Go Cowboys twenty seven, Panthers twenty one.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
Jesse, I'm gonna. I'm by myself again. That's how y'all
always do me. Man, I'm going. I'm going Panthers twenty three,
Cowboys ten no point.
Speaker 6 (47:00):
Huh No. You know why?
Speaker 9 (47:02):
I think.
Speaker 1 (47:04):
I think that loss killed whatever spirit they had left.
Like you, you walk around this building, it's it's it's dead,
the loss of the marveon that when you when they
were winning, there was still this hope, and winning brings
this hope and bring this it brought. It brought you
a reason to come to work every day, gave you
a little bit of excitement. And now when you lost
in the way that you lost and then you lost
(47:26):
one of them, you lost the joy that you had
on your team with an injury. I think that was
a straw that really broke the camel's back.
Speaker 11 (47:34):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
And so I think they go into this game on
a short week. Might I add a little bit banged up?
And then my stat for this week number eighty three
David Moore More, Yes, sir, David Moore. You know everybody's
gonna be focused on Adam Thielen and and you got,
you know, mister Raccoon himself, xaviel to get. But when
(47:54):
they do a lot of bunch and condensed formations, it
helps with their over routes, It helps with their their
out routes. David Moore is one of the best at
running these routes and catching the ball and contested spaces.
David Moore has more than fifty five receiving yards. If
he has more than fifty five receiving yards, Cowboys will
(48:16):
lose this.
Speaker 3 (48:17):
Game five receiving yards.
Speaker 4 (48:19):
All right, again, thank you Wingstop for making this Friday
very very very wonderful for us.
Speaker 5 (48:29):
Xavi you get into your backyard because he read all
your animals.
Speaker 6 (48:33):
Yeah, chicken.
Speaker 4 (48:36):
Wow, good stuff. The wings were delicious. Thank you for
the flavor drop. Jesse, Kurt Nate, good show, Good seeing

backpack on. I'll be in there tonight. Josh Jass, thanks
