1954 wird ein kaukasischer Mann bei der Einreise nach Japan am Flughafen verhaftet, weil man seinen Pass nicht einordnen kann und das ausstellende Land nicht kennt.
Als ihm eine Landkarte gezeigt wird, damit er sagen kann, woher er stammt, zeigt er auf Andorra und nennt es „Taured“. Er kann nicht verstehen, warum niemand dieses Land kennt, das seiner Meinung nach seit 1000 Jahren existiert.
Er wird in ein Hotel gebracht und zwei Polizisten bewachen sein Zimmer, während der Fall weiter untersucht wird. Als man ihn wieder besuchen will, ist das Zimmer leer und von dem Mann aus Taured blieb keine Spur. Kam er aus einem Paralleluniversum?
