Our festivities begin with a Faustian inspired tale starring the legendary actor, Max von Sydow, in NEEDFUL THINGS (1993). A mysterious man (von Sydow) sets up a curious little shop in a small New England town that quickly brings the locals to their knees. The town must wrestle with the weight of their individual desires versus the real needs of the community collective.
