(00:31):
What's goody Hot Breath averse?
I am reporting to you livefrom Walking My Dog to give you a
quick Hot breath update for 2025.
A lot of things are going tobe changing this year and I've been
getting messages about whyhaven't I been posting the weekly
podcast, why haven't I beendoing the weekly live stream?
Where are all the weekly emails?

(00:52):
Well, they all got a littlesidetracked when a little change
happened in my life.
I just became a father for thefirst time and I meant to give you
a heads up ahead of time thatI'd be taking a break, but everything
happened so fast that I endedup just having the kid and then being
like, okay, I need to focus onkeeping this kid alive while also

(01:14):
maintaining my sleep and sanity.
But I want to connect with youdirectly here just to give you a
quick update on what we canexpect from Hot Breath moving forward,
which the podcast will keep coming.
I have like five recorded.
They just need to be scheduledout and edited.
And I have the live streams Istill plan to do.

(01:34):
I was just talking with Yoshiabout this yesterday.
But the big change that'sgoing to be happening is more education
directly with you, moreclasses, more workshops, more one
on one time with you to helpyou with your specific comedy goals
for this year and beyond.
I started teaching a lot moreonline last year.

(01:55):
What I've really learned is Ireally enjoyed that my teachers,
my teachers, I have babybrain, my parents were teachers and
I used to teach a lot more.
I did in person classes herein Atlanta and then I started doing
some online recently and I'vereally enjoyed those and I've really
enjoyed seeing the results andhearing the, the positive feedback

(02:16):
from all the students who havejoined those.
So really with a kid at home,I will keep doing the road.
Like I have a corporate gignext week in Raleigh, North Carolina.
So any hot breathers in thatarea, please hit me up.
Let's see if we can do a hotbreath hangout or something together.
So I will be still hitting theroad, but I do want to be home more

(02:38):
and I've learned that I can behome more and still help comics by
doing these classes and workshops.
So we're going to continue todo that and we're also going to continue
to do the monthly contest thatwe started near the end of last year.
So really hot breath isn'tgoing anywhere.
It's actually growing everywhere.

(03:00):
Ooh, that's a T shirt right there.
But that's the too long, didn't read version But I would love
to hear from you.
Any ideas, any types ofclasses, any types of workshops,
any types of content you wouldlike to see.
I'd like to start posting moreeducational stuff on YouTube as well,

(03:21):
beyond just the interviews andthings like that, but really helping
Hot Breath become an evenbigger authority in the comedy education
space and really helpingcomics while building the world's
most supportive and inclusivecomedy community.
And I'm super excited aboutthat and I think having my child

(03:45):
has really helped tocrystallize that vision.
But it's not possible without you.
So any ideas you have, anyquestions you have, really any reactions
to this, even if you justheard it and we're like, hey, thanks
for posting that update.
I was wondering what was going on.
Please hit me up on socialmedia, Oelbyers Comedy or at Hot

(04:06):
Breath Pod.
And you can also reply to theemail that I send about this.
And if you're not on the emaillist, do go ahead and join that because
I will be sending more directupdates there as well.
But I actually have to pick upmy dog's poop now.
So that is just a quick updatefor what's happening.
We're not going anywhere.

(04:27):
Everything's right on track tobe the biggest and best year of Hot
Breath yet.
And it's not possible withoutall of us doing it together.
So I'm excited to see what wecan make happen this year.
And any questions, commentsyou have, I'd love to hear from you,
but have a great day.
I love you all.

(04:47):
And we'll see on the otherside, Hot Breath.
