This week, I sit down with The Commonheart founder and frontman Clinton Clegg. Clinton has been a musician all his life. With a mother that is still actively playing the church pipe organ twice a week in her 80's, I think you can say music runs in his blood. Musicians are some of my favorite people to sit down with. It's not often that their story is a dull one. Clinton's story wasn't either. Starting out in metal bands and taking inspiration from a lot of hip hop, I was curious to hear how he managed to hone in on the gritty and redemptive style The Commonheart brings today. This week, Clinton stops by the studio to talk all about it, playing the Steelers halftime show, and how he approaches the music after 10 years with The Commonheart. Thanks yinz for listening.
