Today we're at Woody'sWaterfront Car Show in San Leon,
texas.
Coming up, we talk to HotRodder or two about the car they

(00:23):
brought to today's show.
Later I'll look at theautomotive headlines this week
Howdy, along with Mike out ofthis rural Mars King, conrad
DeLong we always need more.
Jeff Seekin, david Ainsley, ourchief engineer, I'm Don
Armstrong.
Thanks so much for joining ustoday.
Mr Mars, who's our next guestJoining us?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
now is Harry Bodle.
He's got this really nice 31-4Vicky sitting out here to our
left.
Nice maroon color, all steel.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Trailer to then, too, I watched it.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
We traded it in.
So tell us about it.
Well, it's a 1931 Ford, vicky,it's all Henry's steel.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Okay, tell everybody what a Vicky is.
It's a Victoria.
It's a 1931 Ford Victoria andit's a four door sedan.
It's a two door.
It's a two door sedan.
See, I learned something newjust now.
I didn't know that it was a twodoor.
I thought Vickies were fourdoors.
No, vickies, it's a two door.
I'll be.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
So what power plants do you have in it?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
It's a 400 small block Chevy.
I have to have a Chevy enginein Ford.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
For all the purists Got a 700R transmission.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Okay, well, how was it squeezing a Chevrolet engine
into a Ford?

Speaker 2 (01:44):
That's the only way you can do it.
I mean, you got to have a Chevyengine in.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Ford.
I got you Okay, just to kind ofthumb your nose at all of the
Ford people.
So you're not a Ford purist.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I love Fords and Chivis.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Yeah, like a Bose.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
But this one was already in there about.
I do have a 1930 Ford two doorsedan.
It also has a small block Chevyengine.
What is?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
the appeal to you to go back to the 30s.
What is that appeal to you?
Because, you know, noteverybody is back into the 30s
and I have to ask you thatquestion.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
I would love to be back in the 30s.
What yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Well, you didn't grow up in Chicago or New York, I
can tell by that accent.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Oh, absolutely not.
I was born in Port Arthur, raised around East Texas and
still have a lot of folks up inLouisiana.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Well, you know, mr Niederland, here.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Mr Daly, I know him.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I just met him yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Well, I see all he got something in common.
Didn't know it, didn't know it,and it's obviously not a Chevy
into a Ford kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
So did you go to Autorama last couple of years?
No, I've never been to Autorama.
There was a stunning Vicky atAutorama that was one of the
magnificent seven which is kindof like the seven finalists for
the Millwinders award and youknow, beautiful gray, not
metallic but just kind of like abattleship gray car, gorgeous

(03:11):
car, very, very well done car.
And so what made a Victoriadifferent than the model?
I'm assuming A was the parallelcar to it.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
I really don't know the answer to that question
there.
I know the two door sedan Ihave, the 30 model, has a flat
back and this has a little curvearound the back, kind of got
the little coupe.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
A little bustle back, yeah, a little bump back, and I
know you're trailered it here.
Do you drive it much at all?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
I haven't drove it very much.
You know I do drive around,Katie.
I live out in Simonson and Ihave drove it a few times around
there.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Did you drive it to the Simonson rodeo?

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I live by the rodeo.
It's not rodeo then.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Okay, oh, it's not.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
No, that's been gone for years.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Really Well, they show my age once again.
Yeah, the roundabout rodeo.
Is it now houses there?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yep, well, it's always been a subdivision there
in valley lives Right.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
But the Simonson rodeo, well, back in my day it
was never.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
There was nothing out there except the rodeo, except
the rodeo.
And that's where Houston, allthe way, yeah, and all the
cowboys were out there.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
So did you build the car from scratch?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
No, sir, I bought this, I believe it, between
Livington and Cutshoot.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Okay, Gotta love the way Texas names their towns
Cutshoot yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Well, they live at too.
You know, I just hang outaround Cutshoot today.
The name's right.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
So how?
How built was it when youbought it?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
It was just built.
I bought it like this here.
Okay, I haven't had this carvery long.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Oh you haven't.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
No, I believe when I was out here the last time I had
a yellow four door Ford and ithad a blower on it, big old
chrome blower on it andeverything.
It was a beautiful car and wesold it here recently too.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
So you had some cash in your pocket, burning a hole
in there to buy another car.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah, and I'm still burning a hole in there.
I want to 55 Chevrolet with afull blown 427.
Try five.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Well, you know, they're out there.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
They're out there, yeah, so it takes a little money
, but they're not cheap, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Now my question that keeps burning in my brain is
you've never been to Autorama.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
I've never been to Autorama.
Why?
Well, for one thing, I don'tlike to downtown traffic.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
But it's Thanksgiving weekend, so there is none of
that.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
He's got family stuff to do Thanksgiving yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Like car shows.
You drive the car in there andlet it set, but you need to go
to the Autorama.
That's your bailiwick, that'sour bailiwick, you know.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
I would probably like to try that one.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
There's some great cars show up there.
And you know, we know in thehot rod world you know a lot of
things aren't necessarily theowner's idea.
It's a evolution of somethingthey saw on somebody else's car.
Oh, I like that idea.
Let's see how can I bring thatto my car with my own little

(06:06):
spin.
So you know, there's a lot ofpeople checking out everybody
else's car at Autorama.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
I just find it interesting that you know You're
a car guy.
A hot rod, or two A hot rod ortwo and it's never been done.
You know it's funny becauseearly on in my pre-hot rod days,
if you want to call it that, that was one of the first things
on my list and it was down atthe old Albert Thomas Convention
Center and I went wow, I lovethis, I've had grandpas going to

(06:36):
go down there several times andknow what I'm having, I
probably will go and give them achance.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Come on out this year , it'd be a lot of fun.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah, and we'll be there.
I'll be there.
Yeah, stop by and say hello tous.
So you've got to leave the carthere?

Speaker 2 (06:49):
for how many days when you bring it down, are you
going to leave it, correct?
Bring it down five days.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Tuesday or Wednesday and you take it out on Sunday,
take it out on Sunday.
Yeah, it's pretty secure there.
They've got a lot of security.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Yeah, nobody messes with the cars, right, yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:04):
We're about out in a parking lot.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Well, your car's not out in the parking lot.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
You park your truck and trailer out there.
It's in a fenced-in area.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Yeah, sort of Traylers are fenced in Again,
it's secured.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Yeah.
I was going to ask you you saythat you want a 55.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Why I just always love 55.
And you haven't bought one,yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
You haven't bought one yet.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Yeah, I haven't bought one recently, but I've
had them in my old days.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Oh, you have, I've had everything that you had to
have.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Well, everything that's old is new again.
Yeah, I wish I had everythingback that I could have.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Yeah, really the problem is your car guy and you
sell one and you got that watercash.
I got to have that car oranother car.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Then you regret selling the one you got.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yeah, yeah.
What happens to us Sellersremorse.
Why do we do that?
We do that to ourselves.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
We do, we punish ourselves.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, we do, so you trailer it down here.
So what did you pull thetrailer with?

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I have a three-quarter ton Chevy
Silverado.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Got you, and how does that work?
Pulling that trailer.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Oh man, that thing pulls.
It's got a 6.6 liter engine init.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Got Duramax or the gas motor.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
No, it's a gas Gas motor.
Ok, yeah, you can tell.
You can watch that gas gaugedrop.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Yeah, I'll bet you can.
Yeah, yeah, getting five milesto the gallon pulling that
square trailer Downhill with atailwind.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
That's right, yeah, well, so where do you live that
you trailered it in from?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Simon Context, it's right about a roundup rodeo.
Oh yeah, I'm sorry youmentioned that earlier.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
yeah, that's another thing that goes Previgint.
Yeah, you can't Previgint.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Yeah, I'm trying to keep up with my friend Vett?
It ain't possible.
Is that the white one that camein Right?
That's him right there, peeleDeedrick, it's not possible to
keep up with that Vett.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Well if you get a chance, watch for tailpipes and
tacos there at Loupi Tortillasat Kingsland and 99.
And bring it on out to that, and it's always a good show as
well.
It might be close enough.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
you could drive if you wanted to oh yeah, I think a
friend of mine does that, johnLezrin.
He has that big green powerwagon, dodge Power Wagon.
Oh yeah, him, him.
I think he does that.
I've seen it there.
Yeah, that's a great littletruck, yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Well, it's great talking to you and we sure
appreciate you stopping by andtelling us about your car.
Thank you, Good luck.
You know they're giving awaytrophies today.
We hope that you're in the mixto get one.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Me too, and I sure hope it's a 55-shriflet.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
And you know, there may be a 55 here that'll be for
sale and you've got that bigwater cash in your pocket.
Today may be your day.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
No cash?
Monoply money maybe.
I think it's a nobody wants tosell a 55 Chevy?
Get ahold of us.
There's no man for sale righthere in the corner.
That's not a nomad.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Yeah, check with him.
But, it's not a nomad, that's aPontiac Safari.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Well from this direction.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
But yeah, that one's for sale, I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Everything's for sale .

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Everything.
Thank you so much.
Appreciate it Thanks.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Thank you, thank you, let's see, I'm going to have to
do a little research and findout what made a Victoria
different than a Model A.
I know and what in Henry for?

Speaker 1 (10:17):
its mind Well, is it a Model A or a Model B?
Because I just learned thatthere was a Model B.
Did you know that?

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Yeah, but I thought that was earlier.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
No, it was from a Model A and the next I think
they only made it a year or two,but it was a Model B.
Who knows, I was never intothose cars.
I think that I told you that Ihad a friend of mine that had
orange Model A when I was inhigh school.
I had no clue about any of it.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Well, you also had a friend that had a Renault
D'Alphine Puss Wilson, you talkabout an odd car.
I don't know how odd Puss was.
I don't know what an odd carthat was he still is.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
He still is and if he's listening, hello Puss.
He lives up in Grand Saline now, but we have fond memories.
We egged the hell out of agroup of guys one Friday night
and they chased us and I don'tknow how fast he was going, but
he ran the entire car over oneof those extra tall curbs that

(11:18):
was probably about at least afoot right there where the drain
is in the street, ran itstraight in.
It took the entire suspension, the undercarriage of the car,
took it right out and put itright back by the back bumper
and the car.
We couldn't get out because thedoors we're sitting in the
grass so you couldn't open thedoors.

(11:39):
You had to roll down the way.
It doesn't climb out of it.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Oh my god, one of the things I noticed here.
Last year we did an interviewwith a guy that owned the George
Barris Oldsmobile Tornado.
Oh yeah, that showed up againthis year.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
I see it.
Now it's out there.
Yeah, I see it.
Stick it out.
That is an odd-looking car.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
It truly is, and I always thought the Tornado was a
beautiful car.
I think Jeff said his familyhad one at one point, but what a
beautiful car.
And then, yeah, george Barrisdefinitely did something unique
to it.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
You know all of the wonderful, cool, neat things
that George Barris created.
Not everything Was beautiful.
Well, no, it was not, not inmost people's eyes.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Some of them were quite, and I know that they were
purpose-built.
They were built for eithertelevision or movies.
He did a lot of television cars.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
But he also customized a lot of regular cars
?

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Yeah, he did, and his own mind's eye of what he
wanted.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yeah, that is weird, especially with the little air
foils that are right in front ofthe front wheel opening, and
then that has the curved couchbackseat in it too.
I remember that.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
It's a cool car.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Well, I don't know about that.
A curved couch.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
No, and that was.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
I would just have the great, big, huge Davenport back
there.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Well, if I remember correctly, the guy told us
George built six of those forthe Continental Oil Company in
Canada.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yeah, how do you remember that?

Speaker 3 (13:18):
Because I'm a geek, because the guy from Canada yeah
, no, he is.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
He wasn't even from Canada.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
I'm a geek and that memory I don't need Previgin,
I've got a pretty good memory.
Yeah, she did, there's somethings I wish I could forget.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
I did some research on those memory medications.
By the way, for those that arelistening to us to care that
none of them actually have beenproven to work.
And I bought Previgin for aboutthree months.
Did not a damn thing.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
So when you take Previgin, do you call somebody
if you remember more than fourhours.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
I'm not quite sure what that means, but sure I
think, have nightmares of thingsyou've done in your past.
Yeah, I still have those anyway, all right, so do the three
women you've been married to.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
Yeah, we don't want to talk about that.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
And we don't care about Mary Bear's income.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
I didn't say a word about that.
You're going there.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Yeah, we're not going there.
We had mentioned earlier aboutKia and Hyundai and it was until
yesterday when Sean Fain andthe UAW took over the headlines.
It was at the top of my list ofthings to talk about.
Let me read the story and thenwe'll talk.

(14:41):
Ok, kia America and HyundaiMotor America are recalling more
than 3 million vehicles in theUnited States for separate
issues that could cause anengine compartment fire.
Both automakers are urgingvehicle owners to park outside
and away from structures untilthe repairs are completed.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Because they don't want to be liable, and if they
notify you to park it away fromthings, then they are no longer
liable if it burns your housedown.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
So where does the dealership park them Outside?
Well, the Kia recall covers thefollowing vehicles the 2010 to
2019 Borrego.
The 2014 to 16.
Cadenso Borrego, that wasn't apopular one 2010 to 2013 Forte
the Forte Coupe and the Sportagethe 2015 to 2018 K900, which is

(15:41):
kind of like a dog.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
K9.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
K900.
The 2011 to 2015 Optima 2011,let me finish, let me finish
2011 to 2013 Optima Hybrid andSoul, the 2012, 2017 Rio, the
2011 to 2014 Sorrento and the2010 to 2011 Rondo.
The recall affects about 1.7million vehicles for an issue

(16:10):
with the Hydraulic ElectronicControl Unit, or HECU, that
could cause an electrical short.
Oh, hecu, which could triggeran engine compartment firewall.
Parked or driving, martha, yousmell something burning?

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Get the marshmallows and hersey bars.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
I think we need to pull the car over to the side of
the.
Wait a minute.
We need to pull it over now.
No better yet let's just stopthe traffic and park it in the
center lane of the freeway, because the flames are licking
my feet, my God.
It is believed that over time, the HECU experiences an

(16:51):
electrical circuit conditionthat results in excessive
current, thereby increasing therisk of an engine compartment
fire while driving or parked.
However, the exact cause of theelectrical short circuit
remains unknown, kia said in astatement on Wednesday.
Korean auto supplier Mandomakes the HECU Keep that in mind

(17:17):
because, wait, wait, there'smore to come.
Here we're gonna continue onMando.
Uh-huh, mando, m-a-n-d-o.
I don't know how she wouldpronounce that Hyundai, kia's
Korean sibling company, isrecalling 1.6 million vehicles
in the US for an issue with theAntilock Brake System module.

(17:41):
In Canada, the recall affects327,000,.
According to Hyundaispokesperson Ira Gabriel, the
module could leak brake fluidinternally and cause an
electrical short, resulting inan engine compartment fire while
parked or driving.
The affected vehicles are the2011,.

(18:05):
Hold on just a minute, hmm.
So, at any rate, the vehicleseffective are 2011 to 2015.
Elantra, genesis Coupe andSonata Hybrid 2012 to 2015.

(18:27):
Accent Azera and Veloster, 2013to 2015.
Elantra Coupe and Santa Fe 2014to 2015.
Equus or E-Cuse, equus, uu.
Yep, two U's Wow, 2010 to 2012Veracruz.
2010 to 2013 Veracruz.

(18:48):
The 2015 Tucson fuel cellthat's what it says and the 2013
Santa Fe Sport.
Hyundai told NHTSA there havebeen 21 vehicle fires and 22
thermal incidents.
Yep, such as smoking, meltingor burning.
David, are you listening tothis?

(19:09):
Yes, you're familiar with thatwhen you move radio stations and
stuff smoking, melting orburning in the US, based on
reports received from June 15,2017.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Smells like wire Through.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
June 1, 2023,.
Mando also supplies theAntilock Brake System Assembly.
You know, I think that I wouldfind somebody else other than
Mando to build components for mycar.
What do you think that youthink that would be a smart move
?
Yeah, I just don't.

(19:43):
I don't understand.
Do they not?
Do they not vet these companiesand say let's test that before
we build a car?
Instead, we've got a threemillion vehicle recall to deal
with now.
What a total pain.
Think of that.
Your dealership has spenthundreds of thousands of dollars

(20:04):
on building the dealership andnow you're having to deal with.
Let's just take a neighborhoodHyundai dealership or Kia
dealership neighborhood, andthey've been there for 10 years,
well respected.
They still set a lot of cars.
Now you've got to fill up yourentire service department

(20:26):
waiting station out back withthese recalls and you know that
it's going to be months beforethey get the parts to fix these.
Yep and the fire extinguishercompanies make the money.
You know, I guess Mr Mars isgoing to have to move his
vehicle too.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Yeah, he'll move his.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
But we don't.
I don't have the keys to that.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
Okay, he's okay.
Well, the good news is, though,it only burns to the ground
once.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
That's true.
Unfortunately, there are housesthat the cars are parked in or
around that catch fire too.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Anyway, I just been there, done that?
Did you have a house fire?
No, but when I used to do whatwe're called incident
investigations liabilityinvestigations for General
Motors, I looked at a couple ofthem that the customer alleged a
car caught fire and burned someof the house down.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Oh yeah, looked at a few of them, and so does General
Motors, you know, compensateyou, or how does that?

Speaker 3 (21:19):
work.
If it can be identified thatthe vehicle was the cause, yes,
so you would say, well, excuseme, Mr Mando, but we're not
going to pay your claim.
Well, no, I mean it's, you know.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Mando being the car man, I got it.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
The.
You know I would do theinvestigation along with whoever
the local fire marshal was orwhoever the local fire
investigator was, so they cangive me what they see.
And then I do some stuff withthe car and kind of show them
what I'm looking at on the carin between the two of us to
determine who was liable for it.
So gotcha.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
What a mess.
Hemmings sold cars round up.
Uh oh, ready, heck you.
This would be for Mr Zeekin, all right, a 2003 Cadillac STS.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Ooh.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Seven grand.
Oh yeah, I'd say less than that$8,255 is what it sold for
Surprising Closest without goingover.
Yeah yeah, yeah, you got it.
I had a 2001 STS Cadillac.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
I thought that they were pretty nice cars.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
They were Well North Star 440 transmission where it's
downfall, but very nice car.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Okay, uh, how about a 1971 Chevy Chevelle Forty grand
Coupe?

Speaker 3 (22:44):
35.
18.9.
Ooh, wow, that's a good pricefor $7.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah, but you don't know what's underneath it.
Yeah, we still don't know ourmoney.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
But still it's a great.
At 18, that's a great startercar.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
Yeah, Nothing else.
It's a project.
Here's mine Now.
This is not a Z28.
At least it doesn't say thatthis is a 1968 Chevelle Camaro.
It's got black stripes on thehood, but the grille doesn't
match up with a Z28.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
What would you?

Speaker 1 (23:13):
31.
31.
Going 28.
How about 63?

Speaker 3 (23:19):
It's in great shape for 63.
I would say.
But again, that's that marketof car, that the value is driven
higher because of the notnecessarily the collectability
of it but the desirability of itfor the hot rod community.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Yeah, just because it's got a person to spend a
person needed by it.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
My guess is this has probably been some sort of
ground up restoration on it.
I mean, tell me that's allstock, red stripes and all that
Looks really nice.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
And this is for.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Ainsley, david, it's green, but we won't hold that
against you.
Ok, a 1965 Factory 5, cobrawhat is that, conrad?

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Factory 5 is a aftermarket company that builds
Cobra kit cars.
Now they build the true CobraAC Cobra kit cars.
They also build a Cobra Daytona, which was the fixed roof coupe
car.
So Factory 5 is just anaftermarket company that builds

(24:23):
Cobra replicas.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
So what would you think of a 65 Factory 5 Cobra.
What do you think that thatwould bring?
Now, this is a convertible.
It's green side pipes typicallooking Cobra.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Kind of depending on powertrain and stuff, I'd say 80
.
Put your guess.
David.
Factory 5 Cobra replica.
Have you not been payingattention?

Speaker 1 (24:44):
No, it's doing its taxes or something.
A replica it went for 43,575.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
That's an all fiberglass car with a custom
chassis underneath it yourchoice of what you want that
somebody put together, right.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
All right, this would be for Mars, who's not here?
I don't know what he's doing.
He's looking for guests.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
Is that what he's doing?
He's not smoking weed out there.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Well, he's smoking weed with the guests.
1999 Ford Expedition Ooh,$6,000.
Now it looks like I was goingto say it's an Eddie Bauer, but
it's not, I don't think.
In 1999, Ford Expedition Gas ordiesel, I can't tell.

(25:34):
And it doesn't say Diesel woulddraw big money.
Well, I don't think this isBecause this is not big money
$2,600.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
There it is.
It's super cheap.
Yep, Of course it may have been.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Expedition I'm thinking of excursion, not
expeditions never had a diesel,jeffrey.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Yep, this would be something I could see you
driving All right, or having A1957 Chevy 3100.
Cool car.
38,000.
43,000.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
Very nice Jeffrey, good guess Jeffrey.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Good guess.
Here's one for John Hovis.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
Because I think he's got one.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
This is a 1958 Dodge power wagon.
What do you think that went for?
54.
34,650.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
That's good.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
I was going to say it looks pretty good, but I don't
know where you're going.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
I think John's is a 47, if I remember correctly,
that Concours one he's got yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
This looks pretty good, all right.
