The need for and importance of inclusion surrounds us. Often, we don’t recognize it until it impacts us or someone we care about. Rosemarie Rossetti, Ph.D., recovered and reinvented herself after experiencing a traumatic injury. She utilizes her experience and expertise to raise awareness among leaders so they can lead with intention by including individuals with disabilities from the outset rather than as an afterthought when designing meeting experiences and living or working facilities. Bio Rosemarie Rossetti, Ph.D., is an internationally recognized accomplished speaker, author, travel journalist, consultant, CEO, and Founder of Rossetti Enterprises LLC since January 1997. She is a leading expert in disability inclusion, universal design, and accessibility. She is celebrated for her inspiring story of resilience and motivational presentations on overcoming adversity. Having been paralyzed from the waist down with a spinal cord injury, she speaks from her wheelchair, sharing her own dramatic personal story and experiences. Her keynotes focus on attaining competitive advantages through managing and embracing change. She is a keynote speaker and consultant who works with people to integrate universal and accessible design into their residential and commercial projects. Rossetti speaks to and consults with meeting professionals to help them save time, reduce stress, and successfully plan more diverse and inclusive meetings and events that accommodate people with disabilities. She also works with destination marketing organizations to improve and promote the accessibility of their communities.
