Hey Friends, If It’s Tuesday, it’s time for “5 Questions With…” Today, I have the incredible opportunity to chat with a seasoned Pixar veteran, Bret Parker. You know I love me some comics, animation and superhero’s and after seeing her and her wife’s amazing animated short film “Pete” that premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival which went on to win accolades across the country and the world. I knew I had to have her on to talk about her work and career.
With an impressive 26 years of experience at Pixar Animation Studios, Bret has been a driving force behind the creation and animation of over 20 iconic films, including the Oscar-winning "Finding Nemo" and "The Incredibles. Bret is not only an accomplished animator but also a talented voice actress, contributing her skills to bring Pixar's magical worlds to life.
Then I have one of my favorite guests returning, a true musical virtuoso, whose talent never ceases to amaze me. Joining me in studio today from the vibrant city of New York, our guest is none other than the incredibly talented composer and songwriter, Michael Mott. This is Michaels 4 time on the show.
Michael of course, is known for his captivating compositions and soul-stirring lyrics. With a unique blend of classical influences and contemporary flair, Michael has crafted a musical signature that resonates with audiences worldwide. His work spans across various genres, showcasing his versatility and innovative approach to storytelling through music. He’s also worked with a virtual who’s who of Broadway movers and shakers, and I’m so honored to call him a great podcast and social media friend.
Be sure to check out my guest’s websites: www.artfarm.com and www.michaelmott.net and their Social Media here: @petethefilm and @michael_mott
