Today it’s a Two-Fer, with two great guests in the same interview. Performing for the next couple of weeks in Provincetown, I welcome my good friend Kim David Smith back to the show and he has brought along his musical director for his shows in September, Brandon James Gwinn. Kim David Smith is an amazing cabaret performer and singer, whose “Live At Joe’s Pub” album was award winning and his shows such as ‘Kim Sings Kylie,’ an ode to Kim’s muse Kylie Minogue, was a fantastic hit. Kim is bringing his block buster, era bending show, Mostly Marlene to the Post Office Café and Cabaret in Provincetown September 1 and 2nd. Brandon will be his Musical Director for these performances.

Brandon James Gwinn is an amazing musician as well, a sometime performer and a terrific playwright. While in Provincetown, he will be performing with two friends over at The Red Room from August 19-23. The show is called “3 Men and a Baby Grand,” featuring Brandon and his friends, the husband/husband team of Dylan Hartwell and Greg Sullivan. We also talk about James Musical that has been picked up to debut in San Diego next year.
