Dr. Neal is a Distinguished Professor of Black Popular Culture in the Department of African and African-American at Duke University, author of several books including: The New Black Man and Looking for Leroy focusing on Black masculinity. In our conversation today we talk about what it means for him to be a feminist and what divesting from patriarchy looks like for him.
