THE SCHOOL OF COURAGE
(Acts 4:8-13) Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: "Rulers and elders of the people! (9) If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed, (10) then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. (11) Jesus is"'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.' (12) Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." (13) When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
勇気の学校
（使徒4：8-13）そのとき、ペテロは聖霊に満たされて、彼らに言った。「民の指導者たち、ならびに長老の方々。（9）私たちがきょう取り調べられているのが、病人に行なった良いわざについてであり、その人が何によっていやされたか、ということのためであるなら、(10)皆さんも、またイスラエルのすべての人々も、よく知ってください。この人が直って、あなたがたの前に立っているのは、あなたがたが十字架につけ、神が死者の中からよみがえらせたナザレ人イエス・キリストの御名によるのです。(11)『あなたがた家を建てる者たちに捨てられた石が、礎の石となった。』というのはこの方のことです。(12)この方以外には、だれによっても救いはありません。世界中でこの御名のほかには、私たちが救われるべき名としては、どのような名も、人間に与えられていないからです。」(13)彼らはペテロとヨハネとの大胆さを見、またふたりが無学な、普通の人であるのを知って驚いたが、ふたりがイエスとともにいたのだ、ということがわかって来た。
1.COURAGE STARTS ON THE INSIDE.
-courage, confident, fearless, openly speaking and confident behaviour.
1.勇気は内側から始まる
勇気、自信、恐れ知らず、オープンに話す、自信を持った態度
BE CONFIDENT TO COME TO GOD.
(Ephesians 3:12) In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
神様の下へ来るのに自信を持つ
（エペソ3：12）私たちはこのキリストにあり、キリストを信じる信仰によって大胆に確信をもって神に近づくことができるのです。
BE CONFIDENT TO COME TO CHURCH.
(Hebrews 3:6) But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.
教会へ来るのに自信を持つ
（へブル3：6）しかし、キリストは御子として神の家を忠実に治められるのです。もし私たちが、確信と、希望による誇りとを、終わりまでしっかりと持ち続けるならば、私たちが神の家なのです。
2.THE COURAGEOUS REPONSE FILLS THE GAP
-though unschooled (inexperienced, untrained) people see

3.BE FILLED WITH COURAGE AGAIN (THE HOLY SPIRIT).
(Acts 2:1-4, 4:8) When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. (2) Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. (3) They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. (4) All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (4:8) Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: "Rulers and elders of the people!
3.もう一度勇気で満たされよう (聖霊)
（使徒2：1-4, 4:8）五旬節の日になって、みなが一つ所に集まっていた。(2)すると突然、天から、激しい風が吹いて来るような響きが起こり、彼らのいた家全体に響き渡った。(3)また、炎のような分かれた舌が現われて、ひとりひとりの上にとどまった。(4)すると、みなが聖霊に満たされ、御霊が話させてくださるとおりに、他国のことばで話しだした。(4:8)そのとき、ペテロは聖霊に満たされて、彼らに言った。「民の指導者たち、ならびに長老の方々。
4.IT’S TIME TO SPEAK UP.
(Acts 4:18-20) Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. (19) But Peter and John replied, "Which is right in God's eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges! (20) As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard."
4.声を上げる時
（使徒4：18-20）そこで彼らを呼んで、いっさいイエスの名によって語ったり教えたりしてはならない、と命じた。(19)ペテロとヨハネは彼らに答えて言った。「神に聞き従うより、あなたがたに聞き従うほうが、神の前に正しいかどうか、判断してください。(20)私たちは、自分の見たこと、また聞いたことを、話さないわけにはいきません。」
